Guest Reviews
- Tastyit (10/5): Cute, Warm, At the center, Very Friendly!!! - Very nice hotel! So close to the city Center! It’s cute, warm with beautiful decoration! The staff was very friendly always offering for free water, coffee, tea, cookies & Champagne!!! You can go everywhere by walking!!!
- annazH6323ZC (10/5): Great place to stay in Vienna - Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Saint Shermin. The check-in was very easy, the room was very comfortable and very clean with an excellent shower. The location was great, close to many of the museums and other sights. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Really can't fault anything about my stay. Would definitely stay again next time I visit Vienna.
- chrisbK7396JT (10/5): convenient and good value - our second stay here; we had a larger room and it was well appointed and the bed very comfortable. The room was quiet and bathroom facilities functional. The loo would not be suitable for a larger guest however!
- robertabD45YH (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Vienna - Perfect location. Wonderfully clean sheets, towels. Always tea and coffee available. Excellent value for money. Generous room. Tall windows, great light. Fantastic service. In person: Monika particularly kind and helpful (thank you Monika!). Via email: Reservation, response, check-in and arrival information all so clear and straight through. Hope to return!
- andrewjV6548MJ (10/5): Excellent hotel, great location - The hotel is in a great location for the centre of Vienna. Rooms are a decent size. Mattresses for main and extra beds are firm and comfortable. Breakfast is good value and there is a nice and reasonably priced honesty bar. The hotel is quiet despite it's central location. Staff friendly and helpful though mainly only there in the morning.
- B5912SVsuea (10/5): What a Gem! - We had an excellent stay here for four nights. The location is very central; we were able to walk to most places. The lovely staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were amazing. Our bedroom was comfortable and spotlessly clean with a powerful and efficient hot shower in the ensuite
Highly recommend, great value.
- westdorsetcottagesw (10/5): Fabulous stay! - What a great find! Set in an ideal location for exploring the magnificent city of Austria. Close to transport links, surrounded by many eateries and within walking distance to many of the tourist attractions.
Our stay was extremely comfortable. The rooms were clean with everything you needed. The beds were so comfortable! Being in a city we expected noise from the bustling city streets but it was surprisingly peaceful.
The breakfasts were plentiful. Each morning there was an array of fresh fruit/veg, breads/pastries, meats and cheeses and so much more. Cake and sparkling wine! What a treat.
The highlight for us was the staff! They were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
We will definitely recommend this accommodation to friends and family.
- 131kristenk (4/5): Not a hotel and not a chance I’d stay again - I would stay in an actual hotel. Do not stay here. It is confusing there are two address 120 with a restaurant in between. You will not see any person. The building itself are clean and functional. Keep in mind that this is an apartment t building where residents of Vienna live. I accidentally pushed the wrong button to buzz myself in. A resident followed me up the stairs to yell and cuss at me in German and in English because it happens so frequently. I didn’t feel unsafe but sort of and very unwelcome.
- saralG7961BV (6/5): Good location but not that good sleep.. - The pillows gave zero support, so we didn’t get a good night sleep.
And the champagne that I read about getting upon arrival we never got…
But location was good and the staff was nice!
- Mikhail (10/5): - Quiet place, convenient location. Thanks a lot.
- susanbE3032CY (10/5): Best Bed and Breakfast I’ve ever Stayed At - My husband and I visited Vienna for 5 nights and could not have picked a more perfect place to stay . Close to Ubahn Station and trolley stop. The staff at St Shermin could not have been more accommodating and kind. The rooms were spotless and the bed and pillows were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Their breakfast room was a surprise gem where we had the most delicious breakfast and coffees every morning. We highly recommend staying there Outside the city center but so easy and fast to get around for two people in their seventies. Really enjoyed our stay there!
- jaakkot817 (10/5): Very good - Near U- bahn, Spacious room, no big noise. Practical kitchen. Clean -vacuum cleaner in the room.
Well organised without reception.
- Zaff (10/5): - The friendliest staff you can find in Vienna. Great location and clean and well looked after rooms/reception
- Auer7777 (10/5): Feel like home - This family owned b&b offers cosy and spacy rooms with stylish design. Location is perfect!!
Public transport direct in front of the hotel. 4th district offers lot of opportunities, art, museums, cafes and cool Restaurants.
10 minutes walking to the center!
- N5676MDsusanh (10/5): Lovely rooms and amazing hospitality - This is run by a family business, you can see the care in so many ways , from check in to the small details. Rooms were immaculate and huge windows with lovely view of the city. Location is excellent, you are practically in the city center in a few minutes by foot. Breakfast was excellent, lots of high quality vegetarian options and very good coffee. We felt very comfortable and taken care of from all the staff, thank you and until next time!
- Groovyhughes (10/5): A great find in Vienna - We had a lovely big room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and a great location. Perfect for our short stay in Vienna!
- Lina (8/5): - Nice hotel, small room for 3 and tiny bathroom, but its price it’s a good deal, 20 min walk to St Stephan cathedral and lots of restaurants near by, but they all need reservations. Stuff is very friendly most speak English. Eating 4 stars only because room was small for 3 of us.
- Jieli (10/5): - Very nice hotel. The staff are so friendly. And the location is very convenient. Love it and will stay there again.
- D1134FAthomasb (10/5): Everything we expected - Really nice and cozy hotel, close to everything. Staff was very serviceminded and flexible. Highly recommend. Late arrival and early departure was handled in a smooth way. Breakfast is great and plentiful including champagne. Definitely worth another visit.
- LMSP (10/5): Perfect small hotel for a short stay in central Vienna - Everything you need for a short trip. Very comfortable bed and bed linen, quiet room, black out traditional shutters, excellent and extensive breakfast and convenient location. All our communications before arrival were efficient and questions answered immediately. So we were not at all bothered by lack of receptionist or concierge - indeed we appreciated that a largely unnecessary service had been eliminated in favour of better pricing. We will be back.
- vanessaaM1070EL (10/5): Great value for the room - The room was spacious and well taken care of. The bed was big and soft, and the kitchen had all the basics you would need if you want to cook there instead of eating out. We also had a terrace with trees, and because we went in April we got the morning sun every day when we woke up.
- suhaalpa (10/5): Nice stay - Very clean, location is great 15min to old town and 15 min to train station. Breakfast and champagne was great. Lack of 24 hour reception is a bit problematic due to locked doors, you need to remember the passcode for the outside doors. Overall pleasant stay.
- SVETLANA (10/5): Nice hotel close to the city center - Nice hotel to stay at during a weekend in Vienna close to the city center
- Timothy (8/5): - If you approach this property with a sense of peace and tranquility, you will be rewarded. It is simple, clean, quiet and friendly. We used it as “tranquility base” for our wanderings. Felt like my bedroom at home. But it is simple. Watch for your door code in the email.
- MIchael (10/5): - Nice room 21, hot at night no temp control.undeestaffed, they tried but too many guests for 1 person to adress
- Jennifer (8/5): - I have stayed here 4 times before and each time had a much larger room and I was disappointed that even after being a repeat traveler, I think I got the smallest room in their entire room block this time. It would probably make for a better experience, if they removed the double bed and just made it a twin. The two beds pushed together had a dip and you would fall into the crack. The location right now has a lot of construction around it which makes this spot not as desirable even though it is super convenient and has great shops, food. I think with all the construction, it is priced too high considering nothing is actually included in the stay unless you pay for an add on. This is me after visiting 4 times so I have been able to see different spots. If it is your first time, I would however recommend it.
- jeanlillianpaul (10/5): easy, clean, comfortable central hotel - We stayed here recently overnight before an international flight out of Vienna. The hotel had a clean room and comfortable bed. considerate and friendly staff. easy check in and nice ammenities in the reception (tea, coffee etc). The location is excellent.
- Z178WOirism (10/5): Great Spot! - We had a lovely stay at Hotel Saint Shermin. It was an excellent location - close to public transportation, great restaurants, and an easy walk to historic locations downtown.
The hotel is small, and comfortable with all necessary amenities. The staff was attentive and helpful. The breakfast was great. Would stay again and highly recommend.
- giromondo (8/5): 3.5 Stars - great location, nice room, but... - We took a taxi to the hotel address and arrived to noisy street construction. Pressed the door buzzer several times, but no answer. Luckily, guests staying at the hotel came by (and said they had the same experience on arrival) and let us in. We telephoned the hotel - a curt response insisting we see our email for checkin instructions (there was no email, not even in a spam folder). Apparently you need to arrive by 1pm if you want to interact with a human, otherwise you need to use a code for the door they email you and look for an envelope with keys in the lobby. So check-in was abysmal.
The room was very nice - well-appointed. A/C worked OK and it was quiet once the construction wrapped up for the day (around 4pm). Wi-fi worked great. There's an honor bar in the lobby.
Overall - more of an AirBnB feel than hotel, which isn't all bad. If you stay here, make sure that you receive the confirmation email before arrival. And don't expect any "hotel staff" to assist with anything outside the morning hours.
It was a great location - could be a fine choice as long as you have the right expectations going in.
- DaliaUsa (2/5): loud machine - The hotel building has a very loud machine that runs all day and night preventing me from getting any sleep at all unless I medicated myself. The room was very hot without any cooling and dark at any time of day unless I turned the lights on. My room was not at all like the picture.
- Marcus (8/5): - Great location for visiting Vienna-short walk to the city center, opera, naschmarkt, Hofsburg, etc. The hotel was easy to get into, and the staff were nice upon arrival. The front desk is only staffed during certain hours which makes certain normal operations of a front desk difficult. The A/C in the room was not very functional, and the room never really cooled down. The room didn't have any art or anything but was adequately appointed. The sofa bed was not comfortable, but the main bed was very comfortable. All in all, would stay again. The only reason the staff didn't get a 5 is because they were not around most of the time.
- Erika (8/5): - A pet free (very hard to find) free option. Great & very helpful staff. Great breakfast option. Likes that it was a convenient location but not the busy city center. Beds were comfortable.
- Naomi (10/5): - Very helpful staff and very clean
- Steven (10/5): - Excellent location and friendly staff.
- Lissa (10/5): - Friendly and cozy!
- John (10/5): - Awesome breakfast and staff!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel with charm, character and a good location ( about a 10 minute walk to area of Opera House)
Tiny but typical bathroom. Towels were a bit worn and pillows were very flat.
We enjoyed our stay ( we didn’t have the breakfast offered)
- Willa (8/5): - Saint Sherman was a great hub for our (too short) stay in Vienna. The rooms are really big and clean. The hotel amenities are limited (more of a bed and breakfast style place) but the room was really what stood out and that was the most important part to us.
Good location for getting around- we walked and it took us about 20minutes to get to the city center.
- John (10/5): - Saint Shermin isn't a grand hotel with doormen and porters or a lobby where you can have a drink and be seen. It's a small, quirky hotel that's run very well by a friendly staff.
The entrance to the hotel is by a small off-street door that leads into a foyer shared by all the building tenants. A sweeping staircase brings you to the lobby on the second floor. There is a small elevator for luggage or people who cannot manage the stairs.
The staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Because Vienna is so easy to navigate and largely available online, we had few questions or needs, but they happily gave suggestions about local dining and sightseeing.
The room was surprisingly large for Vienna and beds were soft but supportive. The decoration felt more like being in an apartment than a hotel room.
Our only regret was never making it down for breakfast. With so many great coffee shops and restaurants in the area, it was a small regret. Vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free, etc.? The area abounds with excellent choices and your carnivore friends won't be disappointed, either.
Transportation is ridiculously easy and available. One of the largest train hubs is a short 3-5 minute walk north and the tram is a block away. The whole city is immensely walkable and we found ourselves just taking a stroll to most destinations, including the Naschmarket, museums, and aquarium.
When we go back to Vienna, Saint Shermin will be on the shortlist of preferred hotels.
- Sofia (8/5): 1 night stau - Great location, good atmosphere of the hotel.
- Trevor (2/5): - There is no soundproofing of the rooms so you can hear everything from your neighbors, and since there is no hotel staff present after 1 pm, you are at the mercy of your neighbors if they choose to binge drink at the honesty bar upon arriving back at the hotel at 2 am.
- Jennifer (10/5): Love every minute - I have stayed at this hotel before and I enjoyed it the second time just as much. It is in a great location. Close to public transportation, shops, restaurants, and attractions. It is a smaller hotel and the small details they add to your stay are great. They are also super helpful in giving you great tips on food recommendations and explaining where the best stop might be on the underground.
- Zaff (10/5): My home in Vienna - It's always a pleasure to stay here all the rooms are uniquely decorated with a regular refresh. All the staff and welcoming and knowledgeable about Vienna
- Amanda (10/5): - Lovely experience_quirky hotel .Great location
- Carol (10/5): Excellent hotel - Very special hotel which has been created with great care and love. Our experience was first rate and we will definitely return.
- Oleg (6/5): - Sain Shermin is a small bed & breakfast hotel located on the second floor of an apartment building in downtown of Vienna, near Vienna Technical University and a few blocks from opera house. The door of the building and the hotel are always locked, and you need to have a numerical code to enter. The staff is always there from 7:00 to 13:00, and sometimes they stay later hours. The staff is friendly. There are plenty of restaurants, sightseeing and shopping around.
However, I did not like the hotel as soon as I entered it. It smells terrible and I immediately got allergy symptoms. The air in the corridor and in my room (#12) had a bad smell. I have no idea what created the smell, but it is likely mold. I notified the staff and asked if they have air purifier. They did not have. They recommended me to open window and turn on a fan in bathroom. I then called Expedia (the room was booked through Expedia), explained the situation and asked if I can cancel the reservation and move to other hotel. (There are plenty of hotels around.) The Expedia representative contacted the owner of the hotel and the owner said that I can leave but they will not reimburse my expenses (7 night stay, 1-8 July, $150 a night). I could not afford these losses. Opened window and fan helped a little and I survived Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, the staff did cleaning, vented the corridors, sprayed with air fresheners, and the "mold" smell was shielded. I do not recommend this hotel.
- Soamva (10/5): - Nice place close to a lot of sites, near the snack market and plenty of restaruants nearby. A bit of noise from the tram at night, but tolerable if going to sleep early.
- Olga (4/5): - This is not a hotel is more like a hostel. Dis not feel safe, it is not so clean and very bad Odor coming from the bathroom. It should say more about this place i feel I got scamed. The only good thing is location
- Polina (10/5): - Great place and location
- Mark (10/5): Felt like home - Great hotel. Highly recommend for your stay in Vienna.
- Keith (10/5): - Wonderful and friendly little B&B style hotel
- Alexandra (10/5): Such a lovely hotel - Most lovely hotel room was so quirky and though out. Excellent hotel and had a bath in the bedroom which was nice. They gave us bath salts too! Very close to the center of vienna and to lots of restaurants. Would stay again 100%
- Jodie (10/5): - We stayed here for 3 nights on our city break to Vienna. Amazing location, 5 minute walk to the Opera house and many great bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Hotel was lovely, rooms nicely decorated and tea/coffee facilities available in the reception area. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend!
- Olesia (6/5): - Сніданок не включений, паркування не включено, вікно в номері не відчиняється для провітрювання, нема готельних одноразових тапок,не могла довго зайти в готель як прибула на місце.
- Jane (8/5): - Small, quiet pensione about a 10 minute walk to Wien Innere Stadt, museum district. Not a lot of frills, but extremely clean, comfortable and friendly staff. The bathroom is VERY small by American standards. A larger person might have difficulty using the shower and toilet as they are crammed in tightly. I'm a 5'1" woman and still found it challenging to take a shower.
- Bradley (10/5): - Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, well appointed rooms, excellent breakfast. Very convenient location within walking distance to the Ring and all subway and tram stations. I would definitely stay here again in my next trip to Vienna!
- Zaff (10/5): A Gem in Vienna - My go to place in Vienna, centrally located only 5 mins walk to The Karlskirche and 8 mins walk to the Opera House.
The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff friendly and knowledgeable.
- Elwyn (10/5): - Large, hi-spec room, very centrally located, easily walkable to three metro stations and major sites, no views, but otherwise great. No staff on-site after 1pm, check emails carefully for check-in procedure. Staff lovely when we did see them. Didn't have the breakfast, probably should have done. Nice place.
- Keith (10/5): Boutique hotel south of the centre - Afternoon check-in is super easy, your key is there to collect when you arrive.
Very comfortable and stylish rooms with good bathrooms.
Also good location, short walk to the centre and even shorter to the U-bahn/metro.
- Alexandre (10/5): - Great place to stay. Helpful staff.
- Adrienne (10/5): - Very close to Marksplatz train station, also close to trams and buses. Variety of restaurants nearby including Naschmarkt. Billa supermarket and a bakery very short walk away.
No kettle/jug in room to make tea. Water provided in lounge area not always hot.
- Zaff (10/5): Favourite place to stay in Vienna - My third stay, Saint Shermin BB&C
Love this place. Clean and comfortable rooms. Polite, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lovely location.
Honesty bar is a 5* idea
- George (8/5): GREAT LOCATION! Stay here, it's worth the money! - Saint Shermin was EXCELLENT! The location was just right. It's very easy to get around the city from here. Locally, it's 5 minutes from the Naschmarkt, 10-15 minutes from downtown and the museums. Very clean room. The beds were comfortable, the room was warm and the shower had good pressure with hot water. The only detraction was the size of the bathroom, it's very small and no bathtub, but the price is right and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend Saint Shermin!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place, great bedrooms with lots of attention to detail and care put into each room.
- Zaff (10/5): 5 star service - Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The room and reception are immaculate and clean. All the staff are friendly and willing to help out with information.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fantastic hotel brilliant staff - As everyone says, the staff here are so charming. We were working and they were all very helpful. Check in is early; the room (no 17) was modern and spotless - lovely design with plenty of light, quality toiletries, complimentary drinking water...The location is perfect for exploring Vienna with lots of great cafes nearby. We didn't try the breakfast (or the champagne!) - I'd definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great hospitality, clean and well maintained and location within 10mins walking distance from vienna operahouse
- Keith (10/5): Fabulous hotel 9.5/10 - The Hotel was as described in previous reviews. It was Clean with daily linen changes and Water in the room. The staff was extremely friendly , helpful and professional. The breakfast cost 14 Euro and well worth it.I would recommend this hotel to friends and would consider staying there again. The location is ideal with a short walk to Karlplatz underground on U1 line. We were given a good room with a view to the street. The staff were very helpful and considerate.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I've liked the location, staff and cleanliness. breakfast was very expensive.
- Grant (10/5): Amazing, pictures don't do it justice - Incredible place! Check in and out was simple, we arrived after hours to a room key with our name on it. The room was very high standard, much nicer that I had imagined. Very cozy and comfy, it was raining for some of our trip so it was an easy decision to go back and nap! Would totally stay again.
- Istvan (10/5): - Excellent location, nice staff. Quite pleased with the hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice hotel. Very clean, rooms are very cute. The front desk is whey friendly. Only issue was trying to find parking since they only have street parking.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A very lovely and romantic hotel with an excellent location a very few minutes walk from the U-Bahn-Station Karlsplatz, the Naschmarkt, the Secession, and a few more minutes walk to the Leopold Museum, Kunsthistorisches Museum in the Museumquarter. And free champagne in the early evenings. I will certainly stay there again.
- Julia (8/5): - Excellent location near metro and Karlsplatz. Good directions and check-in information. Friendly, helpful staff when they were there. Lighting in our room was poor. Had to roll up carpet as was easy to trip on. Bathroom so small my 6'4" husband could not sit on the toilet.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quite, charm and relax staying. Nice breakfast and Champaign!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful hotel with a great location within walking distance of all the sites. Very helpful and courteous staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Everything about this property was charming - and the location was fantastic! The staff was friendly and helpful, however I would not rate this a 4 star hotel though- the bathroom was VERY small and it was quite ordinary.
- Maria (8/5): - Nice hotel close to city center. Very convenient. Cozy
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location and lovely large, comfortable bedroom. Only (minor) negatives were tiny bathroom space and dim lighting. But I loved the decor and overall it was perfect for a short stay in Vienna.
- Ralph (10/5): - Great location and walking access to central city or the metro. Karlplatz station is just a 5 min. walk. Would book this hotel again on my return visit. There's a Billa across the street if you want to grab something quick to go for breakfast. No ground level lobby but loved the personal entry code system they have for accessing the hotel from the street. Very efficient.
- Liam (10/5): What a GREAT HOTEL to see Vienna from! - This hotel is very close to the metro and a decent walking distance from downtown. There are plenty of restaurants close by and the environment is wonderful! This is the only hotel we would recommend in Vienna!
- Jim (10/5): - Modern urban accommodations in an historic building just outside the historic city center. Very pleasant and helpful staff.
- Rebecca (10/5): Beautiful boutique hotel! - The hotel and entire experience with Saint Shermin - from check in to check out - was flawless! Perfect location for walking around Vienna or hopping on the tram.
The little extras, like the high quality shampoo and lotion and candies for the kids, put the experience over the top. It was such a restful and lovely experience. Wish we could have stayed longer!
- Marian (10/5): - This was a very charming experience. A small low-key hotel in a great location, not far from the Opera house and cafes. The room was comfortable and surprisingly large. The staff was warm and accommodating. The breakfast - outstanding. I would look forward to staying here again - I fell in love with Vienna!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Saint Shermin is great! - Staying at the Saint Shermin was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly, the room was nice, and the location was perfect.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful hotel close to city centre - Wonderful greeting on arrival - room excellent and a fantastic breakfast and don't forget the champagne
- Verified traveler (10/5): Incredibly Helpful Staff - Our stay at the Saint Shermin was a lovely experience. The staff was always there help. They assisted us in booking train tickets and opera tickets and finding dinner reservations and have us general advice on how to best spend our time in Vienna.
The rooms were very lovely and unique, though the bathrooms were quite small.
The breakfast was delicious! It wasn’t included but was definitely well worth the fee.
- Angie (10/5): Great boutique hotel in a good location - Great staff, great rooms, great breakfast, would definitely recommend- excellent!
- Luis (10/5): Great hotel with helpful staff and good breakfast - We stayed a couple of nights, check in was easy, rooms were clean. Hotel is walking distance from many museums, shops, and attractions. We had a very pleasant stay, will definitely come back.
- Anna (8/5): Great all rounder. - Perfectly located a few minutes from Karlsplatz it is easy to get anywhere from the Shermin, either on foot or by tube. The hotel has just the right level of staffing, there when you need them. My only comment would be that there should be tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. These are freely available in the lobby but it takes the pleasure from an early morning cuppa if you have to get dressed and go 'outside to get it. Otherwise no complaints!
- Andrew (10/5): - Location is good - close to Karlsplatz, breakfast excellent, service very good, champagne always welcome, coffee available from a Nespresso type machine in reception, bed comfortable though pillows a bit thin for me, Wifi excellent.
- Schwane (8/5): Great stay! - Cute little gem.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing hotel - This was the best hotel I've stayed in while abroad. It is really good value for money. The location is fantastic and you can reach all the main sights easily from the metro. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the room was big, really comfortable and the shower was amazing. The breakfast was delicious, you won't find better for the price. The staff were very polite and welcoming.
- Miguel (10/5): - Excellent!! Everything was above expectations. For instance, they've arranged an early taxi to the airport for me, and the driver was waiting for me at the reception even though it is closed so early!
I've gave a 4/5 on cleanliness to encourage them to do something about the entrance of the building. Even understanding that it's shared with the rest of the building, still the first impression is not good and there has to be something that can be arranged. It diminishes the spectacular condition of the interior.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Such a pleasant stay! Rooms are beautifully done and very comfortable - larger than we expected for a small, European hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and worth the price (all you can eat including fresh fruit, eggs, meats, cheeses, cakes, and drinks).
Good location near the metro line and a short walk from most tourist sights. Also close to great restaurants, cafes, and local neighborhoods, if you want to avoid the high traffic tourist areas.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable and quaint! - Great Experience! Loved the lemon /mint water waiting for us, the shampoo! Our most comfy bed on our Europe trip, and very helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again.
- Wing Yan (8/5): Beautiful and comfortable - We had 5 nights of very good sleep, the room was quiet, comfortable and spacious. Vienna was over 30 degree Celsius during our stay, the cool and quiet air conditioning contributed to our maximum comfort. I would love to have the tea and coffee making machine inside the room instead of at the reception, well perhaps by winter the rooms will be equipped with a kettle to warm the guests.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Stay - If you are looking for a good place to stay that is a 10 minute walk in to the historic centre of Vienna. Then Staint Shermin is ideal. There is some good restaurants close by and a park. Would happily stay again 👍
- Verified traveler (10/5): Loved everything about it - Fantastic little b&b (breakfast an additional fee) in a nice location. Highly recommend this place.
- Louise (10/5): - Delightful stay! Great location for us as we arrived by train and like to walk. Cozy breakfast room with tasty made to order eggs and lots of other choices. The housekeeper was very helpful to us when we arrived and is a darling woman.
If we get back to Vienna we'd love to stay at the St. Shermin again.
