• Susanne (9/5): Mycket bra hotell med utmärkt frukost och fantastiskt läge - Vi valde hotellet främst pga läget och frukosten. Läget är fantastiskt, nära till shopping och restauranger. I lugn promenadtakt ca 12 min till Notre Dame och ca 17 min till Louvren. Nära till tunnelbana, ca 3 min. Linje 14 tog oss direkt från/till flygplats Orly på 25 min 14€/resa. Relativt lugn gata med förhållandevis lite trafik jämfört med andra gator. Enkel men mycket bra frukost med bland annat ägg och bacon. Små rum, fast till vår glädje blev vi uppgraderade till något större rum och bekväm säng 160 cm samt badkar vilket var behövligt efter kall dag. Mörkergardiner och luftkonditionering samt minibar. Fungerande WiFi. Gammal byggnad, men ser inte så slitet ut. Vacker inredning med varma färger, boutique känsla. Dygnet runt reception med trevlig personal och god städservice. God service med paraplyer för utlåning, så slapp vi köpa egna. Dyrt, man får betala för läget. Kanske dyrare för att vi valde Kristi Himmelsfärd helg. Vi bokade tidigt, drygt 3 månader före. 3 nätter, 1415€ vilket blev över 5000 SEK/natt. Frukost avgift tillkommer, 14€/person. Det fanns betydligt billigare hotell, men inte med frukost som vi önskade och något sämre läge samt hotell som inte var lika inbjudande. Skohorn saknades, behöver inhandlas av hotellet. Dåligt tryck i toalettspolningen, man fick spola 2 gånger, med väntan däremellan.

• Una (7/5): Overall, despite a small issue, I had a good stay thanks to the excellent location and quick resolution of problems. - I had a pleasant stay at hotel. One of its biggest advantages is the location — being right in the city centre made everything incredibly convenient. Shops, restaurants, and main attractions were all within easy walking distance, which really enhanced my overall experience. The hotel is a great choice for anyone who wants to stay close to everything and make the most of their time in the city. One thing I didn’t like was the attitude of one of the women at the front desk. When I informed her that there was no electricity in our room and that the fridge wasn’t working, she was quite rude and dismissive. However, the issue was resolved very quickly, which I appreciated.

Ilk verilen oda küçük olduğu için daha büyük bir oda talep ettik. Nicole hemen yardımcı oldu ve oda değiştirdik. Sultana çok güler yüzlü ve yardımsever. Sonraki seyahatimizde yine tercih edeceğiz.

But they were understaffed and working under bad conditions as they were having work done on the hotel. They offered us a free breakfast since it was my daughter's birthday and put balloons in the room for fun. Because they were putting in a new air conditioner they gave us a fan which helped a lot. The staff were exceptionally attentive to our every demand and very welcoming. Of course the room was lovely, and very clean. Un grand merci à tout le monde.....surtout Mme Dati! We feel that the management should have warned us about the work that was taking place in advance. We also feel that they are understaffed and need to hire more people.

• Douglas (9/5): Just what I expected for a true Paris experience. - Property was essentially located easy to get to our sightseeing destinations. The bed was very comfortable. Room was small, but that’s to be expected in Paris. Our room had a very small balcony facing the street. Please note elevator is very small. It’s two people and maybe they’re luggage. The balcony was very small, difficult to actually sit at the table and enjoy a coffee. And at night, the noise from the bars was a little annoying. But we were so tired from walking around Paris, we were able to fall asleep.

• wmd6 (6/5): Ok service but noisy stay - My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. We have stayed here about 10 years ago and liked it then. The room was good and service was ok but our room faced Avenue Victoria which was noisy. There is a late bar opposite which we had to wear ear plugs at night to block out the noise. This wasn't a big problem. We were woken up at 7am by very loud construction noises as part of the hotel is being refurbished. It would have been more considerate to not start construction activities until 8am. When I mentioned this at reception, the lady just said, "yes they were putting in air conditioners this morning.". She didn't offer an apology which was disappointing. If you are looking to book a room, make sure it doesn't face the Avenue Victoria.

The Hotel is fantastic - great location 1 block off the Seine, and 5 minute walk from Notre Dame and 10 to Saint-Germain-des-Prés or the Marais. Staff is super welcoming and friendly. Feel comfy vibe. Would stay here again (we did).

• Sarah (8/5): A charming hotel in a great location - We returned to this hotel after many years and it continues to exude the same charm. The staff are so friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The breakfast is good with a choice of croissants, bread, pancakes, fruit yoghurt as well as hot options. To drink there is fruit juice, water, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. We booked a room with a balcony, which although small as anticipated, was absolutely charming. Taking a moment to sit in the sun at the end of the day with the view of the top of the Eiffel Tower in one direction, was relaxing and special. Situated in Chatelet, the location of this hotel is excellent. It's within walking distance of many popular sites and has a good variety of places to eat in the surrounding area. It is very close to Chatelet metro and RER (stepped access) and a short walk from Chatelet Les Halles metro and RER (lift access). It is also very easy to use buses from this property. We won't leave it as long before returning this time. I am putting this information in this box because this hotel is not accessible to a full time wheelchair user. There is a small step at the entrance which my power chair can manage. The lift is too small to accommodate most wheelchairs so mine was kept in the luggage room. The staff stored it safely while I went up in the lift. The maximum length of the corridor to the rooms was 7m but many were much closer. It is worth noting that some of the rooms are very small and would not accommodate a walking aid such as a frame or rollator. The breakfast room and communal lounge do not have lift access. There are 8-10 steps down with a rail on the left descending. The rail stops 3 steps before the bottom making it more challenging. It is also worth noting that the shower is over the bath. These access issues are true for many of the boutique hotels in Paris as they are old buildings. I am highlighting the specific access in the Britannique so that people can make a choice according to their needs.

И имеет свой особый настрой - на отдых, на неспешные прогулки вдоль Сены, которая расположена рядом. Местоположение отеля - это его козырь. Рядом ещё и Лувр, и улица Риволи, и Собор. У меня был всего один день и одна ночь пребывания, но именно из-за близости отеля к таким достопримечательностям сложилось впечатление, что я провела в Париже несколько дней :) Вечером, уставшая после рейсов, приехала, заселилась в уютную комнату, сходила за сендвичами и водичкой, отлично выспалась. Утром - шикарно позавтракала (все вкусное, свежее), поздоровалась на ломаном "бонжур" с работницей, которая организует завтраки - в ответ услышала чистый русский, очень приветливо. Оставила вещи внизу на хранение - и гулять! Вообще, все очень приветливы и терпеливы из персонала. Меня волновал вопрос возврата денег на карту за бронирование, мне все спокойно поясняли. Деньги вернулись примерно через 33 дня, но это исключительно из-за особенностей банка, отель возврат сделал сразу же. А ещё там красиво! Холл внизу, с винтажными вещами быта, фотографировала отдельно. Желаю отелю процветания. И очень его рекомендую! Сначала думала, что район шумный и странный, но это вокруг шумели кафе вечером в субботу. Спросила на ресепшн : безопасно ли тут? Мне сказали :да, безопасный район. И действительно так, спокойно гуляла вечером.

• Z1454FOkarinah (10/5): Fantastic property! Would highly recommend! - Fantastic location ! One block from the Seine, 3-4 blocks from the Louvre. Right across a bridge from Sainte Chapelle, and Notre Dame is 2-3 blocks from there. It is an Awesome property with sparkling clean bathroom, large shower and ample space to hold toiletries behind the sink. The room had a very comfortable king-size bed and pillows with terrific “black-out” curtains. There were just two of us on our 4-night stay, there was an over-sized chair that was a single-bed pull out that we didn’t need, but if we had had a third person with us it would have been tight (we Americans packed quite a bit) Reasonably priced breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, pancakes, cheese and meats, fruits and vegetables and of course melt-in-your-mouth croissants! The staff were exceptional - I would highly recommend this hotel.

• jhorack (10/5): Best Hotel in Paris - I have been staying at Hotel Britannique since at least 2005, hard now to remember when I first visited, and have made more than twenty (20) visits, for business and vacation. Simply stated, it's the 'best hotel in the city,' with an extremely convenient location in the heart of Paris, and a major RER/METRO station just steps away, making it easy to get anywhere in the city, to the Airport, or countryside. The staff are super friendly, the hotel offers a great breakfast, is extremely clean, quite cozy, and the quality of the stay today is at the same high-level as it was 20 years ago. Five stars.

• Exornitence (10/5): Excellent find in the heart of Paris - A great hotel in the dead centre of all things touristy. Great for all modes of transport, food and sightseeing. The hotel is chic but quirky in celebration of all things British. Staff were all friendly, professional but above all helpful. The room was comfortable (just like the hotel website photos). It was clean, in good decorative order and quiet. Linen and towels were of good quality.

• Andy606 (10/5): Excellent hidden gem in centre of Paris - This is an excellent hotel, located in the centre of Paris and within easy walking distance to the metro and lots of attractions. Our room was big enough (better than lots of Paris hotels), very comfortable and kept very clean each day. The breakfast was great (as were the friendly breakfast staff) and the hotel has a relaxed and quirky feel. All of the staff were really excellent and made us feel welcome and looked after. Would absolutely recommend a stay here - we will certainly be back.

• M4539KRjims (10/5): The Hotel Britannique was a hotel that was Unique !!!! - This was our first visit to Paris to celebrate our 18th Wedding Anniversary and the Hotel Britannique made our stay even more pleasurable. From the moment we booked our hotel via Hotels.Com we were in touch with the hotel and Adelina looked after us via e-mail to make sure everything was correct. When we finally arrived at the hotel before check in, we were allowed to leave our bags so that we could take in the Parisian sites before checking in. The staff who I cannot remember all the names were excellent and nothing was a bother to them at all. All of the staff should be highly recommended for wanting to go that little extra to make your stay as enjoyable and as comfortable as possible. We booked a deluxe room with a balcony overlooking the main street and the room was very clean, comfortable and well presented with tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer and a safe in the wardrobe. There was ample room in the wardrobes for all of our clothes and the room was cleaned to perfection every morning. I can honestly say, this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at in Europe and we have been to many countries but never had the level of service that we had from the Hotel Britannique. Well done to all of the staff and to the owners on making our first Paris trip so memorable.

• Joana (6/5): Tiny room in a great location - The location, very pleasant lounge area and very friendly staff. The announced room size (15 m2) was far from what we had: it was a tiny room! The whole hotel looks like needing renovation.

Excellent location, the decoration of the hotel is very nice ... but the best thing about the hotel is the kindness of its staff Nicole and Tenzin. They helped us in everything and gave us excellent recommendations to visit Paris.

• 883detlevb (10/5): Perfect stay in Paris - Very nice, small hotel with lovely rooms and very nice and helpful staff. Perfect location for visting Paris. Very close to metro „Chatelet“ with a lot of connections and in walking distance to Notre Dame and Louvre. The hotel is small and cosy and very lovingly furnished. We will be back for sure!

• DavidC20622 (10/5): Junior Suite is great for families! - Fantastic location, so many things to do within easy walking distance and a really good breakfast at reasonable price. Staff were friendly and helpful when we wanted to add an additional night on. The junior suite is fantastic for families, the couch folds out into two separate single beds which was perfect for our 8-year-old twin girls who would otherwise wriggle around and annoy each other. The room is a decent size for a European hotel so we never felt like we were on top of each other. Would definitely stay here again.

Pas de possibilité de se faire un café dans la chambre. Petit-déjeuner décevant.
• VailSkiChick (10/5): Gem of a hotel to base walking adventures - I walked everywhere- Eiffel Tower, LV Foundation, Louvre, Orsey, Sacre Coeur, Rodin, Pantheon. Every afternoon there has coffee and tea and a pleasant sitting area to relax. The staff are all lovely - so helpful, nice and they take great care of you. The beds are comfortable and rooms spotless. It's a quiet locale while being so close to lots of restaurants, bars, cute stores. I felt safe walking by myself at late hours. The metro is close by and the ease of taking the train from/ to CDG was a bonus. I hope to be back in the not too distant future.

The library area was a comfortable place to spend a little time reading and relaxing. Also really liked the soaking tub and bathroom decor. The elevator was not working during our stay - but staff brought our bags up so our 3rd floor room wasn't really an issue.
