The staff could not have been kinder and spoke good English which was helpful as our French is minimal. The rooms were clean and quiet, and everything worked. Numerous options for dining within an easy walk, and plenty of shopping in the area as well.

The breakfast staff was friendly and provided a satisfying array of breakfast options each morning. When in Europe, you don’t spend much time in your hotel room! The room was small but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was more than adequate. Since we had been traveling for over 2+ weeks before our 5 days in Paris, our suitcases were large and not the most convenient for the room size, but nonetheless we “worked it out”. The location is convenient to the Louvre and some great shopping/cafes/restaurants are an easy walk.

I think this is a family operator hotel so the staffs are very friendly and helpful. However, the condition of the hotel is not in a great shape. The lobby is extremely small. The room is very small , smell a bit when I checkin , old carpet , old cabinet. The furniture need to be upgraded. In addition, only one thin pillow was provided per person. The bathroom is newly renovated so that’s the best part in the room and AC works great . However, this is not what I expected for a three star hotel in Paris. In addition , my room was not cleaned when I came back the in second night , the towel were not changed and garbage was still there. The only thing they did was fixed the bed a little bit, but not fully. I called the hotel staff most likely is the owner. He was really nice and came over and took the garbage and gave me the towels and apologized Overall, love the location, love the staffs but the condition of the hotel is not align with my expectation and description in the website

I seldom write reviews and waited a month as I wanted to make sure I provided an accurate review versus an emotional review. This hotel is the dirtiest and unsafe hotel I have ever stayed at. There is an old stinky musty smell throughout the hotel. My bed had hair on it and entrance door to my hotel room would not lock. The air conditioner barely worked so I informed the hotel attendant and she originally told me they had no other rooms available. I called Expedia and only then hotel attendant suddenly had one room left. She took me to the first floor and showed me an even dirtier room. I was willing to stay a night and requested reimbursement for the rest of my stay. The hotel refused and said they wouldn’t reimburse my money even after how terrible their hotel room was. Again, run from this place and do not book this hotel if you want to have a nice vacation. WORSE hotel ever!!

- Michele (10/5): Charming boutique like hotel - This is a small old boutique like hotel staffed with the nicest people who were so helpful. Guests sitting in the lobby were there to just talk to the receptionist or each other as if they were long lost friends. That was the atmosphere - friendly and comfortable. Something you don't get in other hotels. We were in a room for 3 and both triples are on the top floor. Which meant that the elevator only went to the 4th floor and we had to go up a flight. They helped with bags so it wasn't an issue. Surprise - room 51 has a small balcony overlooking Sacre Coeur!!! Magic! It was remodeled - bathroom was clean, everything worked, 2 sinks. Beds were great and a/c worked beautifully. No noise from outside at night. Location was perfect - walking distance to bistros, metro, in the heart of shopping by the Opera and easy walk to the Louvre. Loved this experience - def not a chain hotel. A special thank you to Moun at the hotel - she advised us on Uber v taxi (depends on where you're going!) and even offered to make us to go sandwiches on a Sunday when a lot was closed if we got her the baguette bc she wanted it to be fresh! Told us the best bakery etc. She is a true gem. I will stay here again - like the woman I met who has been coming for over 20 years!

Our only negative would be the lack of privacy in our room; the bathroom didn’t have a standard door and instead had a glass “door.” We had direct sight of the other person when they were using the facilities and that wasn’t very romantic. The room was clean and spacious enough for us.

Our room was on 5th floor but elevator only went to 4th floor. Room had comfortable beds and AC was great! Bathroom seemed newly remodeled and very nice. Within walking distance of Louvre, shopping, and dining.

The only downside is if you are in one of the 2 rooms at the top, you have to go up 1 flight of stairs so if you have a large suitcase it might be a struggle. Other than that minor hiccup, everything else was outstanding!

The street has many Asian restaurants and grocery stores mostly Japanese. Front desk people are so helpful and friendly and let us check in early. Room was small but very comfortable. Great bathroom with modern shower and quick hot water. Breakfast included eggs cooked to order directly on a Le Creuset in addition to fresh fruit, breads, fresh squeezed OJ.

- Jo (6/5): Very small room - Very tight quarters for 2 people. With 2 large suitcases, hard to open them on the floor so hoisting them up onto the bed was the best option. Not an easy job! Breakfast was 14 euros for a very slim picking. We chose to go get a croissant and coffee for a less amount. The service from staff was minimal. However, there was a woman that was so helpful with trying to find the right place for us to eat and also so helpful to store our luggage since we were there so early for our checkin time. Overall, I would stay there only if all other hotels were full. $350 per night was way too much. The only plus was, short walking distance from the Louvre.

And it’s just a short and safe walk to the Louvre, the Seine, the Opera Garnier, and the Metro lines. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was small but well-designed, efficient. Found a terrific restaurant just 5 minutes walk away, Bistrot Victoire, established 1802. I absolutely would stay again.

- Jinyoung (10/5): - I spent one night. Location is amazing and the staffs were kind and helpful. The room was cute and nice. There were lots of nice restaurants and shopping area. Nearby Christmas market was amazing as well. I would go back again next time I am in Paris.
