- Gen (8/5): Great location, but pricey. - Very nice hotel in a great location, so no complaints. I still think €300 a night plus city tax is too much though, even if it is Paris. Especially as they don’t even provide a bottle of water - and I truly hate pre-stocked fridges! We didn’t have breakfast as they only offered a continental option, and there are many places nearby. Cost.

Breakfast in room for a reasonable cost was excellent. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room and bathroom very small. For 2 gals with luggage, not enough space to put things without blocking walkway through the room. Used desktop and top of small fridge for suitcases.

Relais du Louvre played a major role in making our trip to Paris a truly stunning and unforgettable experience. It is more than just a hotel; it is a cozy Parisian home with a rich history. We felt not like guests of the city, but like a part of it. The hotel is located at the epicenter of cultural life. The view from the window of the royal church of Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois and the proximity to the Louvre create an indescribable atmosphere. All the iconic landmarks — Sainte-Chapelle, the Musée d'Orsay, Notre-Dame de Paris, the Seine River, the oldest bridge Pont Neuf, and the Samaritaine concept store — are within walking distance, allowing you to enjoy the city without using transport. The interior is thought out to the smallest detail: from the paintings and books in the lobby to the tactile fabric wallpaper. The "classic double" room is a model of exquisite intimacy. Despite its compactness, the ergonomics are flawless: even a tall and broad-shouldered man was absolutely comfortable. The coziness of the space does not come at the expense of comfort, even for statuesque guests. The presence of a modern Japanese hygiene system in the bathroom significantly saves time and maintains an impeccable level of comfort even during the busiest excursion schedule. A clean room and fresh linens are a daily rule of the hotel. The staff is the soul of the hotel. We were welcomed like old friends. A warm atmosphere and a unified team spirit permeate the entire hotel — from the ladies at the reception to the technical staff. When such sincere human warmth is hidden behind the facade of a luxurious interior, it is what makes the hotel exceptional. Sincere hospitality reigns here instead of protocol: the service is devoid of stiffness, and you feel not like a client, but like a long-awaited friend.

- Elizabeth (10/5): Charming hotel a block off the Seine and in the middle of everything. - Excellent Location!!! The facilities are charming and the rooms are beautifully and comfortably decorated. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Our twin rooms are small, but that is common with a city hotel and I feel that the space is well used. I know there are larger rooms available. I was impressed with the modern updates that included a cube for charging devices and a modern bidet style toilet with a heated seat and all the bells and whistles. It was all good.

Сніданок в номер, дуже сподобалась, ця концепція, замовлення сніданку на певний час, ранок був неспішний та аристократичний, сам сніданок був смачний та різноманітний, персонал дуже приємний. Це не стосується саме сервісу, це мінуси старої архітектури. Малесенький ліфт, малесенькі загальні коридори. Але це реальність, яку потрібно прийняти, бо вона не зміниться. А щодо саме незручностей в готелі не дивлячись на смачний та різноманітний сніданок, в номері було не дуже комфортно його їсти, і це теж потрібно прийняти, бо малесенький готель не має можливості накривати сніданок, мені так здалося.

The breakfast was room service which was appreciated and very complete. The size of the room is very adequate for Paris. Perhaps a larger comfortable chair for seating would be convenient and comfortable.

So quiet despite the central location. Breakfast is enormous and excellent value for money. Rooms are just big enough and the view over to St German l’Auxerrois and the Louvre is unforgettable. I would hate to have to stay anywhere else in Paris.

The staff are friendly, efficent and very helpful, and always available. Nothing was too much trouble - they even accomodated our (very) early arrival without question. The beds are extremely comfortable. The whole experience of staying here felt very personal, and we look forward to returning again - hopefully soon!

One of the best things of this small place is the feeling of NOT being one of the hoards of tourists shuffled into giant towers with gift shops on the ground floor. Another thing... the rooms seem to be soundproofed from outside noise. This hotel is right across from the Louvre and very near a very busy street off the river. You hear basically NO noise from the outside.

After that we had a small talk but somehow he started to ask me about my personal life (am I married, do I have children etc). He tried to invite me out, asked "maybe you'll come to Paris and visit me?", "let's stay in touch" - he opened his phone and waited for my contact. He had 3 rejections. None of them were heard. I still have a feeling that he can try to contact me. Somehow I managed to finish the conversation and come to my room. I find out, the room can be opened from the outside- the lock can be opened with the double key. I was very afraid, I almost had a panic attack and can't feel neither safe nor secure. I was terrified to go to check out because he could be there (I don't know how the concierge's schedule works). I'm writing this text from the train - I don't feel safe even know. Unfortunately, it's my main impression not only about the hotel but about my voyage to Paris now. Oh, the "smart toilet" didn't work.
- Corina-Adina (8/5): - The location is fantastic if you plan to visit the Louvre, with access to 2 subway stations and plenty of buses. Room was as small as described on the site but it had a comfortable bed, the heating worked really well. Had some coffee options in the room which was nice. The bathroom was very small and i hit my elbows a few times trying to shower, you can barely turn around in the room. The only window overlooked some ugly inner yard so that didn't help to compensate for the room size. It's strange that these days you have to leave the key at reception every time you leave.

We hope to see you again. - The hotel is in an excellent location and was perfect for the things that we wanted to do and see. It is small, but the staff were all very friendly and helpful, so it feels more personal as a guest. We had a lovely view from our bedroom window over the church next door. At night, with the window open, it was very quiet outside. And with so many nearby cafes, we did not need the breakfast. The decor could do with a bit of refreshing, and to use the shower, you have to step into the bath. This was ok for us, but a slightly less able-bodied person would find this difficult. Is the bath necessary, or could it be removed to make a very nice walk-in shower?

My primary interests are music and art, so I first chose this hotel because its location was key. But after the first stay, I was hooked on the overall spirit exemplified by Mme Sophie and her well-chosen team. In U.S. terms, I felt like they had my back. The premises are simple, tasteful and spotlessly clean. Their service is sincere, common-sense, thorough, curated and supported by many small joys. (The stable and secure WiFi comes to mind). After spending a total of three weeks in their company, I felt that Mme Sophie and her team never failed to treat me with proper and true Parisian spirit. When you travel somewhere, you can’t ask for more than that. By the way, the price seems both oddly irrelevant and definitely more than fair.

- Priscilla Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional Stay Near the Louvre - Relais du Louvre has a fantastic location, within easy walking distance to many of Paris’s main attractions. The hotel itself is lovely, comfortable and well maintained. What really stood out was the amazing and friendly service, the staff were welcoming, helpful and made our stay feel effortless. The hotel is also very close to the metro, which made getting around Paris incredibly convenient. A wonderful place to stay and I would happily return.
