• Jeremy (5/5): Convenient location - I would not stay there again. - Great location and the room was clean. Indifferent staff. Below average breakfast (the ‘hot’ food was cold) with a poor selection and tables left dirty whilst the staff chatted in the kitchen. The room was small and had the smoke alarm covered with a bag. Paris is expensive but this place was poor value at best.
• 771carolinei (2/5): Appalling Lack of Customer Service - The location of this hotel is excellent, surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our experience with the Chief of Reception left such a negative impression that I would encourage others to consider nearby alternatives before booking. In early March, about a month before our original stay, new UK passport requirements forced our family to change travel plans for a trip with our 90-year-old father. When attempting to adjust our reservations, I discovered that one of the two bookings had accidentally been made as non-refundable. I contacted the hotel directly and was told to work through Expedia. Expedia’s customer service was consistently helpful and tried multiple times to assist, but each request was denied by the hotel’s Chief of Reception. Although we had already moved our second reservation to May and were still planning to stay at the same hotel, we were forced to make an entirely new booking for my father. Over the following weeks, Expedia continued trying to help resolve the issue, but every request to either transfer the unused booking dates or provide any refund was refused. What made the situation especially disappointing was the complete lack of compassion, flexibility, or customer care shown by the Chief of Reception. While I understand that booking errors happen and policies exist, there was no willingness to work toward a reasonable solution despite the circumstances and despite the fact that we remained paying guests at the property one month later. It is unfortunate because the hotel itself is in a fantastic location and the rest of the staff were lovely. However, one individual’s poor attitude and approach to customer service significantly affected what should have been a memorable family trip.
• Ronen (8/5): Very good hotel for a weekend stay - Very nice old hotel in a great location, very comfortable to explore Paris from. Lot's of restaurants near by. We loved the kettle and coffee sachets in the room (although cream capsules would have been a nice edition). We could leave our bags there before check in and after check out. Staff tended to be unfriendly, but I guess that's Paris for you. Other than that no negative remarks.

If you are uncomfortable with rooms without natural light and tiny elevators that are often out of service, as well as very confined access space, this is absolutely a hotel to avoid. For the first time in 15 years we’ve requested a refund from Booking.com and there has been zero support. AVOID THIS HOTEL AND THINK TWICE ABOUT USING BOOKING . COM. BOOK DIRECTLY TO HOTELS AND GET AMAZING SERVICE. After 15years of travelling around Europe and third trip to Paris, we booked a twin room city view! The rooms on the site show large windows/doors with railings. The rooms look bright clean and spacious. The actual experience was so poor, for the first time we refused to stay. The room was very tiny, difficult to get into the room with luggage. The window was very small and faced a three walled compartment with no natural light. The room felt like a cell. It was worn out and tired, nothing like the photos on the site. It did not look clean. I don’t understand how a hotel without a proper window can actually be offered, this is unacceptable. We asked for a different room and we also said we would accept one bed. They would not do anything for us. We have never encountered such misleading bookings. Booking.com gave us a travel credit of 28.37€ (10%). We are requesting a full refund and advise you to avoid this hotel.

• Wayne (4/5): - The location was excellent in a quiet street but only a 2 minute walk to the metro, bars and restaurants. The continental breakfast was extremely poor, there were no toast making facilities, the hot buffet consisted of scrambled eggs, baked beans and sausage however the four days we were there no matter what time we went down for breakfast there was only scrambled eggs available and even after asking each morning for the beans and sausage to be replenished they never did. The choice of cold food was also extremely poor two types of meat and one cheese. There were only small tubs of fruit but no apples etc. There were also only two types of bread which were always rock hard. The tea making facilities were poor with no spoons to take the tea bag out of the cup, no where to put the used tea bag and milk was only available from a large jug which was for cereal use. There were no forks on the table only a knife. Definitely not worth the extra €15 per head per day. We booked a privilege room which was quite big but the bathroom was very dated and had no lock on the door. The wardrobe was the smallest I've ever seen and only had room to hang six items. There were no draws in the room to put your underwear and no stand to put your suitcase on. There was a kettle and tea bags which never got replenished. The staff at reception were always grumpy and never said bonjour or gave us a smile when we left or returned to the hotel.

Excellent service, and a special mention to reception staff - Abdel who went out of his way to help us in finding an adaptor for phone charger etc. Olivier at the reception was helpful.

• Alain (4/5): Bon emplacement, mais service et gestion décevants - Bonne localisation dans Paris, chambres propres et hôtel relativement calme pendant la nuit. ascenseur en panne pendant presque tout le séjour alors que nous étions au 6e étage avec une personne de 74 ans, sans réelle solution proposée par l’hôtel, sauf pour la 5ème et 6ème nuit après beaucoup et plusieurs discussions avec divers personnes à la réception. Communication et accueil à la réception peu chaleureux, informations contradictoires concernant le technicien et absence de panneau indiquant la panne. Petit-déjeuner assez limité et servi dans une salle peu agréable au sous-sol. Enfin, la chambre “duplex” ne correspondait pas vraiment à la description attendue.

• Arjun (8/5): Comfortable stay, very centrally located, charming rooms with 70s/ 80s look rooms with wooden beams. - Very well located, 5-10 mins walking from the Opera house and Galerie Lafayette... about 25m - 30 mins walking from the Louvre. We had the Superior room, which was a good size, comfortable bed and the room had an air conditioner which is much needed in Paris. Polite and courteous staff. Not the hotels fault, but the person living above us managed to flood their bathroom, which resulted in water flowing into our bathroom. The hotel staff promptly changed our room (same category)... unfortunately the aircon was not cooling in this room, which was only found out at 11P, when we came back to the room. Luckily the weather was cool enough to sleep with the window open... but Paris mornings tend to quite noisy, hence had to wake up at 6AM to close the window again. And the elevator broke down over the weekend and could only be fixed on Monday, the day we were checking out.

• Laura (4/5): Condiții de cazare proaste, nu merită prețul. - Locatia Camera cu mobilier vechi, patul subdimensionat, am dormit cu picioarele atârnate la capatul patului. Am primit o cameră cu pereții mansardati, deși am selectat și plătit pentru o cameră normală. Nu am putut merge n picioare prin camera, ci doar aplecați. Deși atunci când am ajuns nopțile erau friguroase ( sub 10 grade), căldura nu mergea iar personalul a fost destul de urâcios când am ridicat această problemă. Prosoape cu aspect dubios, iluminatul natural și artificial insuficient. Mic dejun mediocru.

El desayuno muy rico La pieza algo estrecha, la ducha no estaba bien aislada, por lo que el piso del baño se empapaba. La persona que nos recibió en la mañana en el mesón fue muy poco amable, incluso mal educada. La persona que estaba en la tarde fue muy amable, al igual que las encargadas de servir el desayuno.

A limpeza foi feita de maneira excelente, mas a estrutura do hotel é muito antiga, acredito que deveria se modernizar para oferecer um melhor ambiente aos hóspedes. A estrutura do hotel poderia ser melhor e o banheiro é muito apertado.

• Bader (5/5): Good location, but average cleanliness and unfriendly reception. - My stay at the hotel was generally good. One of the main positives was the excellent location, as it was close to most attractions and made getting around very convenient. On the downside, the reception staff were not friendly and the service was below expectations. Also, the cleanliness was average and not at a high standard.
