Staff was great as well. we did have a broken mini fridge in 2 rooms, which they did solve the last day we were there. we had a room on the second floor which pulled in cigarette smoke from the street pretty badly with the window open. There's a tourist locker on the other side of the street and one night we suffered through alarms there every 20 minutes the entire night. second room was on the next floor up and was much better.

- Andrew (8/5): - The hotel is very well located beside the Eiffel Tower although quite a walk from the metro. There wasn't any air conditioning which was a bit tough as the day temperature was 30C. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience.
- Irismar (6/5): - Reception staff very welcome and accommodating. The room number 3 was ok, windows that open for a court yard that is used for smoking. Not very private, so you need to keep windows and curtains closed all day if you like some privacy. The room was not very clean, found hairs on the bed and stained towels in the toilet, very little amenities, specially for two. Breakfast I think it’s not worth having in the hotel, not very much interesting choices, very basic options, cheese, coffee, juice, bread, cereals, basically is all we get. Also the breakfast room is located in the basement and very small space. I definitely advise to go out and spend the 19 euros breakfast fee on the beautiful bakeries that have a not far from the hotels and with beautiful selections of fresh French food and plenty restaurants around that serve break fast. The location is good for transport and to go around the area with the Eiffel Tower just 15 minutes walk from the hotel.

- Deborah (2/5): - Well got classic room that looks nothing like pictures on websites, very small one bed that’s it, no place to put clothes like 4 hangers that’s it no shelves, safe did not work, fridge did not work told them on day one they never fixed it all week, no coffee or kettle in room, no soap dish in bathroom, ants! all over the floor in bathroom and on carpet in room! So with only one chair no place to put suitcase we could not even unpack! Also they did not tell us that room is right beside there patio! Our bedroom window is facing the patio so early morning and at night people talking and moving chairs snd tables loud! Every day! Also room was very cold at night heater did not work! Shower head fell off as I was getting soap out of my hair! Oh you also have to leave your room key every time you go out at front desk so you have to ask it back when oh come back, oh and if you sleep in they call snd wake you to ask if we want the cleaners to come in? No sign for door that says do not disturb! The only one thing about this place is the location is good that’s it!

Cons - it is rather sad looking, I do feel the pictures online are deceiving. Our room rather resembled what - I imagine - a low security prison stay might feel like. Hard beds/pillows. Uncomfortable bedding, 0 touches inside that could easily make it feel friendlier or even pleasant. It felt institutional. Throw up some art, a duvet or two…
- Peggy (8/5): - This hotel is well located and on a quiet street. It is an older hotel and the walls between the rooms are very thin. But the staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. This hotel is "no frills" but it was what we needed for our stay.

The final thing is that expedia allows you to book for 3 people, but the room is only for 2 at most. We had to pay flr an extra room because of this.

- Irene (10/5): Stay in Paris - It was an excellent hotel with good service. It was close to the Eiffel Tower and Metro / Bus stop. A lot of shopping around it and restaurants. Very nice. A very tight space for the toilet. If you are a tall person, it may be a little difficult to use the toilet.

Only two plugs in the entire room. One for TV and one for fridge. Bedding was stained and room dusty. Asked reception for toilet roll and they gave us a stack of tissues. Very shoddy hotel and no care for customers. 3/10

Easy walk to Eiffel Tower, bakeries, cheese shops and sidewalk cafe’s .Super friendly staff. My French was minimal, but the staff helped me arrange taxies, and advised me on where I could walk. Rooms are fine, nothing fancy, but all you need! Highly recommend this hotel!
- Verified traveler (8/5): close to Eiffle tower but hallways unsafe - Staff was nice and super accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the Eiffle tower and metro stops. Out only issue was that the hallways were pitch black with no lights and the stairway was lightly lite with a green light. As a single travelling with her young daughter it made the experiences of walking to and from our room uncomfortable and felt unsafe.

- Explore38718739242 (2/5): Do no book your stay here! - The owner asked to keep our room key when we were heading out. We refused. He became incredibly rude with a response that ruined our mood & holiday. Frankly, we chose the place because the reviews mentioned how great the location was. We booked and stayed five nights - big big mistake. There’s one review that said “think twice”. We ask that you think thrice because even if its just for a night, this place is not worth it. I won’t even call it a hotel because the place didn’t even look like one and man, their service is beyond terrible. I strongly urge all of you to look elsewhere!
- Kelvin (10/5): Affordable, clean, will stay again. - Value for money in the heart of Paris, very near to the Eiffel Tower. Restaurants and souvenir shops nearby, and close to Seine River. Cost is much lower than nearby hotels, but if you are just looking for a clean and comfortable fuss-free hotel to rest for the night, look no further. I love that bed and toilet is very clean. Open the window for ventilation, no need for air-conditioning. Auberge Bressane restaurant is nearby, fantastic food (make a reservation). We walked to the Eiffel Tower.

- sglondon (10/5): Overall very good - This is a hotel in one of the most desirable areas in Paris and it offers all that one could reasonably ask for at the price. This was my 5th visit and I will book there again, I love the area, love the view from my room. like the sleep quality, The shower room is more than adequate bearing in mind that this is not a luxury hotel. Very good room-cleaning, good breakfast for only €7, helpful staff at reception.
- ULISES MARIN (10/5): - The hotel is charming and very well situated a few blocks away from the Eiffel Tower. The room was nice and cozy with a small balcony, absolutely beautiful. Lots of little places to eat or grab a souvenir, snack or the last-minute bottle of wine before going back to your room. It ‘d be nice to have a complimentary coffee machine in the room or the lobby. There is breakfast for a price if you are interested (buffet style) but not necessary with many options in the vicinity. Be prepared to pay up to $12Euros per person for a coffee croissant in the area. Lower price and more items if you go a bit further away from the main attractions . We had breakfast near Anvers subway station before the city tour for $7.50Euros: coffee of choice croissant Orange juice yogurt. Highly recommended the Navigo transport card if you are willing to explore the city on your own. Overall a fantastic sejour!

- Kamir (4/5): - Beware….This hotel does not have AC units for their rooms, it was very hot. We went in June. Very outdated hotel, rugs are dirty, very tiny room and bathroom. They ask you to leave the key at the front desk when you step out. At one point, they locked us in, we couldn’t leave the hotel because the attendant stepped away and stated it was for security reasons. Bad service but great location. Will not stay here again.

The service was terrible, the comforter looked like it was from the 60s and had stains on it, had no AC and it was VERY hot in the room, the bed/room was small, the hallways smelled bad, and if I had paid $50 for a room I’d have felt ok with it, but it was not even cheap. The only good part about this hotel was it’s proximity to Rue Cler. Would not repeat.

Hygiene and decor leaves much to be desired too!Internet speed is appalling!no tea and making facilities, And Where's the mini bar as advertised ! - edouglng (10/5): Could not ask fir more! - Loved it here! Most convenient location to Eiffel Tower, restaurants and stores Rooms were small, but I didn’t go to France to be in my room! Will definitely stay there on another trip! Twin bed was comfortable When my adult daughter joined me later, two twin beds took up most of the room , no place for luggage. But that would be my only concern To be able to stay that close to things, great value!

- Ofir (4/5): So So. - One outlet in the room in a very bad location! Bathroom is very basic, no toilet paper (only tissues), and some broken parts. Location is pretty good.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent location. Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine River. At the Seine River there is a dock where you can board site seeing boats. Close walk to Metro station. Lots of little shops, bakeries and cafe's nearby. They provide a very basic breakfast for a fee. The room was small but it met our needs.
- Diana (10/5): - I loved the location. Just a ahort walk to the Effle Tower. Cafes downstairs on the same street. Very safe and quite. Very quant hotel. Room just the right size. Who wants to sleep in Paris. Our first trip and we will be back very soon. We loved room 36. Should be a 4 star. Jump on the Hop on Bus. That was the best. Au Revior!
