Guest Reviews
- amanda (8/5): - Older, but loved it! Close to transit
- Esperanza (10/5): - Very Nice room very comfortable. Thank you for great stay, and would recommend to any visitors in Paris, the Hotel is very well located to all important tourist location i.e Arc de Triomphe, Rue champ Elyse, la tour Eiffel, if you like walking Paris is at your disposal. Merci Beacoup encore!
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Stayed in Paris for my best friends birthday celebrations
Upon arrival our room had been decorated with a beautiful birthday message! So thoughtful!
The rooms were immaculate, very well stocked and so quiet!
The staff were very helpful, kind and accommodating
The location was perfect!
We would highly recommend this hotel!
Thank you!
- Kirstie (8/5): - Nice hotel hidden away from noisy street. Great for what we needed for our girly trip - nice clean rooms, good bathrooms. We were upgraded to a triple room which was fantastic. Single bed was a bit creaky which was slightly annoying but overall a great stay for a reasonable price.
- Philip (10/5): - Staff are super friendly and helpful. Room is small, but nice, cozy, and very functional.
- Tom (8/5): - Laundry and groceries nearby. AC in need of upgrade.
- Kayla (8/5): - Room was clean and has air conditioning. Staff was friendly. Very close to the Arc.
- Caz (10/5): - Amazing location and brilliant staff
- ginajZ7205HZ (2/5): Horrible - Absolutely Horrible Experience – BEWARE of Paying Cash!
Do NOT EVER PAY CASH to this hotel — you will deeply regret it like I did!
I booked a stay through Expedia with the “pay at the property” option. Upon arrival with two friends, we were told we had to pay the full amount €1242.45 upfront at check-in. Teo and Meline were at the front desk, and Teo handled the payment. I specifically asked him to split the total into three payments of €414.15 each. Two of us paid in cash, and I paid my portion by card.
However, after leaving, I noticed an additional €405 charge on my card, which they took using the pre-authorization without my consent. When I called to resolve the issue, they falsely claimed that only one person paid in cash (€423) and that the “remaining balance” was charged to my card.
Pascal, the so-called director, was completely unhelpful and insisted they had not received the other payments. They even gave me a receipt at check-in — but later claimed it was just a proforma (whatever that means!). I repeatedly asked for security footage from September 17th at 1:00 PM to prove our payment, but Pascal refused, saying that only the police could request the videos.
Now, I’m stuck dealing with Expedia to try and get my money back. What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation turned into a nightmare — they ruined the rest of my trip because I had to deal with this mess every single day.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I will NEVER stay here again, and I strongly warn others to avoid this place at all costs!
- Gabriela (10/5): - Amazing location staff and cleaness
- Gerald (8/5): - Great location, friendly staff and nice rooms….would definitely stay there again and strongly recommend it….the only drawback was no ice machine and had to go out to buy ice for using in our room.
- Victor (6/5): - No one cleaned the room
- Kristine (10/5): - Hôtel was amazing! It was close to everything and if it wasn’t the metro was down the street. My family and I would definitely stay again when we come back and visit Paris.
- Dr (10/5): - Stay was amazing, you can go every where from there , either walking , bus or sub. Felt very safe to walk around kept coming back quite late and all the restaurants were still open with many options where to eat , definitely will recommend
- Carmen (6/5): - Our shower was not working properly. The mini fridge in our room was not working. There seemed to be a lot of debris in the hallway. Other than that, the front desk was very helpful. The location of the hotel was great.
- Kyla Sevilla (6/5): - Unfortunately I got bed bugs as I had some scratching on my legs when I slept in the bed
- Amina (10/5): - I just got back from Paris with my daughter and we had a blast. The hotel location was very convenient and made most of our activities easier. 5 mins walk from the metro/train station and the hotel also gave us the pass for both the metro and train. It saved us a lot on transportation. The staff were very friendly and helpful especiqlly with moving around the city. They gave us a map with all the transit connectivity and always printed our transit itineraries for us. I will highly recommend to my friends and anyone i know coming to paris
- LAETITIA (10/5): - This is our ritual stop when we are passing through Paris. Ideally located. The prices are reasonable.
- Susan Margaret (10/5): - Fabulous close to all landmarks metro stations
Very friendly staff very clean
- Nicolle (6/5): - The property location is amazing. The hotel room itself should not be mentioned as a four star. It is definitely a 2 1/2 to max three.
- Catherine (8/5): - Clean, quiet and in an excellent location, staff lovely, friendly and helpful.
- deangelo (8/5): - Friendly staff. Very convenient to shopping, eating and the train. Was a little weird to have to turn in the room key each time while out exploring reception was always there to return the key but still felt a little uneasy.
- Kuyan (10/5): - Very clean. Very close proximity to the Arc de Triomphe and the metro. Lots of cute restaurants nearby.
- Steven (2/5): DO NOT STAY & AVOID - If you are looking for a hotel that has mastered the art of deception this is it. The elevator fits 1.5 people, good lucky if you are traveling with others and have extra luggage. You need to leave the physical key at the desk when you leave the hotel (beware what you leave in the room). The rooms are no larger than closets. The door handle for my room (104) actually came off and i was moved to room (103) which is behind not one but two sets of doors for extra inconvenience. Try squeezing your luggage past a useless door to open another door with a metal key and not a key card. The shower was in the room almost touching the bed. Great fun for two friends, at least the toilet is behind a door.
- Eric (10/5): - Bel hôtel à quelques pas de l’Arc de Triomphe et des champs Élysée. Calme et chambres rénovées. Stationnement à proximité à 20euros pour 24h. Belle surprise!
- Frank (8/5): - The location is unbelievable, great things all around it. Our corner room (105) was really dark with basically no windows (a thin window facing inside, and a thin window in the bathroom), so it felt a bit lacking in term of a light and airy feel. For 8 days, that got to us a little. Im not sure if the other rooms are like that, though. We did have a great experience!
- Jacqueline (10/5): - Our hotel room was very nice! The cleaning service was excellent and staff were courteous and friendly. Would recommend this hotel. Also very close to the Arc de Triumph.
- Carrin (10/5): - The room was very clean and roomy and extremely comfortable. It was in walking distance to the Arc De Triomph and about a mile from the Eiffel Tower. Lots of restaurants to choose from.
- Manuel (10/5): - Excellent
- Douglas (8/5): - Great location and good value for money.
- Jose (10/5): - Close to shopping centers plus attractions
- Rhiannon (10/5): - Had the best stay, friendly staff, great location. Overall 10/10
- Ghislain (10/5): - Really nice and clean property, close to public transportation, lots of dinning and shopping nearby! Rooms were small but good for European standards, bed was super comfortable and service was great!!
- Anmagret (8/5): - Nice hotel
- Tasos (2/5): - Good location but depressing and outdated room.
- Quynh (8/5): - Perfect location!
Highly recommended!
- Rachelle (10/5): - Excellent stay!
- Alexandra (10/5): - Nice and pleasant stay, easy to walk and quick access to Paris landmarks
- Ilendy (4/5): - Don’t stay there
- Mirela (8/5): Good for short stay - Central location. Clean room, ok for short stay. Comfortable bed. Room is small, hallway and lift are tiny, but all functions properly.
- Gina (4/5): - The property was just okay, definitely not 4 stars as the listing states. When we arrived, we saw 3 stars on the awning (pictured below, apologies for the poor quality image, adding a screenshot closer up). We actually asked the staff when the hotel gained its 4th star and we were told about 1-2 years ago PENDING renovations. When we asked what those renovations are, they couldn’t give a solid answer, but that the Renos haven’t been completed/started yet. So we basically paid a 4 star price for a 3 star hotel. Also, the shower door is only half a door, so water gets on the floor pretty bad and can be icky to walk around barefoot after your shower. There is supposedly breakfast available for a fee but the lobby is pretty small, I’m not sure where that would be if you choose to get it - but we decided to go out to local cafe’s each morning! Restaurants around the area were pretty good and the hotel is close to the shopping area. Overall, once you get past the above negatives, the hotel isn’t all bad and is in a convenient area. Just wished we didn’t pay a 4 star price for a 3 star hotel, probably more bang for your buck nearby!
- Tamara (10/5): - Great property near the Arc de Triomohe. Easy walk or train to other destinations. Room big enough for 3 people and shower was an ok size given it is in Paris. Bathroom needs a fan for ventilation but otherwise no problems. Lift is tiny but got our bags up to level 5. Paid parking was across the street. Make sure to key lock room door as it doesn’t auto lock
- Matthew (6/5): - Overall its an average hotel, would not stay again rooms are very small elevator cannot hold more then on person with luggage at a time and the concept of returning your key to the front desk everytime you leave for the day and collecting back whenever you comeback to the hotel is odd. Would not stay again way better hotels in paris
- Carolina (10/5): - My only concern was the elevator and dropping off and picking up key, everything else was great.
- Christine (6/5): - It was quiet. Clean
Liked the location.
Rooms are tiny .
The building is very old .our room was a triple had no view looking at other shabby buildings walls .
- Saadat (10/5): - Excellent location. Very comfortable, clean and a fully equipped room.
- Jacqui (8/5): - Lovely hotel, good welcome, very clean. Comfortable bed and fluffy towels. Close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees. Only thing not so good was that our milk and coffee were not replaced daily so had to ask at Reception. Would definitely stay there again.
- Christopher (10/5): - Good location and nice room. Great air conditioning!
- Teresa (10/5): - Small room but everything we needed was available to us, like a smaller version of a studio without the kitchen. Located in a convenient location near the Arc De Triumph.
- Shaun (8/5): - We had a great time. The location was great and easy access to trains for most attractions. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
- Benjamin (8/5): - Overall very happy with hotel. Staff was kind. Room was small but I understand why. So no big deal. Overall I am very happy with the hotel. Location was AMAZING
- Kathy (2/5): - Do not ever book this place. Air conditioner is broken. The property never informed to customer instead lied every day they are going to fix it. It was over 100 degrees inside room without any small opening window nor fan. I had to open my door for air circulation. I had no privacy and couldn’t sleep or rest during daytime. Please aware this. Do not book this place.
- Stacey (10/5): - Very quaint place. Staff was friendly. Assisted when needed. Elevator was extremely small. Would have. Liked fresh water bottles daily but no big deal. We had no issues.
- Natalie (8/5): - Room tiny but clean.
Had absolutely no issues
- Doreen (4/5): - On our last day we went to breakfast leaving our luggage in our room.
Checked out as had to head to LaHave and once in the hotel there I proceeded to check my money only to find it was all gone and my debit car. Whoever did it proceeded to take all my money out of each wallet and put the wallet back in my backpack.
When returning to our room to get our luggage there was a cleaning staff outside our room ( a black woman)
Needless to say I was so devastated and felt so violated.
Being my first time in Europe and about to go on a cruise I was beyond speechless.
It was a lot of money and pretty well tainted my whole trip.
I don’t know if anything can be done but hopefully the hotel can look into the cleaning staff for that day.
Please advise what can be done as it’s my first time to Europe and on a cruise and only feel negatively towards it all. Doreen
- Andrea (10/5): - We enjoyed our short stay. It's in a good location that's walkable to a bus stop or metro. There are several places near by to eat. We felt safe. The staff are friendly and helpful. Nice room. Clean space. Would recommend and would stay again.
- Tony (10/5): - Great location
- STELLA (8/5): - The room is a bit small but the location is really convenient for visiting Paris. Good restaurants around. The staffs are very helpful.
- Ran (6/5): - The room is pretty small. Sink, shower place and toilet are all separated in different places in the room. Breakfast just has pretty limited selections. Location is great, but don’t think worth the price.
- cynthia (8/5): - Great location
Hotel is clean,staff friendly
Rooms are very small
Was a nice stay
- Bernd E (10/5): - Friendly desk services
- Maureen (2/5): - The air conditioning did not work and it was stuffy and warm. Refrigerator did not work and to use refrigerator at the front desk. No storage or hooks for hanging clothes. Room was very run down and in need of general repairs.
We. Travel all the time and Will not recommend or stay there again.
- Prentis (10/5): - Reasonable price for Paris and location. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Front desk help friendly and spoke English
- Karen (10/5): Geeat location, friendly staff, metro nearby - We stayed as a family of three (2 adults and a 6 year old). Before arriving I was a bit apprehensive as I’d read reviews that the rooms were small. The rooms aren’t massive but they aren’t tiny either. The beds were comfortable and we all had a really good nights sleep. We were there for 5 nights and on some of the nights you could hear the people above but on others you couldn’t, so it’s pot luck as to who your neighbours are as it was obvious that it was different people of different nights.
There is a car park opposite, should you need one (a multi-storey paid one you have to pay for).
We loved the location. Close to the metro and the Arc De Triomphe. It was nice to head out and see the Arc de Triomphe every day.
We didn’t have breakfast, preferring to grab a coffee and pastries from the local bakeries- which there are plenty of. There’s a Starbucks a minute walk away.
I’d recommend staying here. We chose it as it was close to the Paris Marathon start and finish line.
I’d stay here again.
- Lorraine (10/5): - Great location would recommend
- Hanser (10/5): - Very nice
- Paul (10/5): - The hotel t’s very clean but the refrigerator was very small.
- Nicola (6/5): - 5 mins walk from arch de triompe / 45 mins walk to eiffell tower.
If you are disabled in a wheel chair you cannot use the metro as they do not have lifts.
River boat really good and caters for wheel chair users so does the eiffell tower.
- Alberto (6/5): - Ac was kept running hot
- Merceedes (10/5): - Staff was lovely. Room efficient and stylish.
- Kelly (8/5): - Excellent location with nearby access to the metro. Staff were very helpful.
- Alien (4/5): - Poor staff service
- Tamara (6/5): - Language barrier, and leaving the room key when going out, did not sit right with me at all.
Did I go to a hostel or an hotel?
The first room was dirty then changed to another but no apologies.
- Trevor (10/5): - The front desk staff were awesome, and a special shout out to the lady (i am so sorry i did not get your name). You were so friendly and welcoming, i felt at home. The gentlemen were great too. The facilities were clean and well kept. My only suggestion would be to set the timmer on the lights in the hallways a bit longer or let them come on automatically with motion. Other than that, great stay for us and i would highly recommend.
- ELIE (6/5): - good location - good staff - but room too small
- Nelly Carolina (10/5): - very nice place to stay. close to many restaurants and tourist attractions.
- Douglas (10/5): - Small property was comfortable and suited my needs (4 day city break with my grandson).
- Sazan (2/5): - i didn’t like the bedroom
- alan (8/5): - Central to arc de triomphe and all attractions at this end, metro station around the corner, staff were excellent always on hand if needed, room was cleaned every day, close to a convenience store and plenty of restaurants.
- Canni (6/5): - Really nice location as it is centrally located in front of the arc de triomphe! Close to a lot of restaurants and shopping options however the wifi in my room was really unreliable as was my data. It seemed to be an issue with the room I was given cause my data/wifi worked better outside my room. Just for reference I was in room 12 downstairs... Won't recommend that room but the staff was really nice
- Stephen (8/5): - Highly recommend Mister Theo staff who always available
- Paula (8/5): - Overall a good stay
- MEG (10/5): Good stay - Excellent
- Cheila (8/5): - Only thing was the bathroom setting shower and toilet all together gets everything wet
- Miguel (10/5): - Great stay!
- Haley (10/5): Lovely hotel - Very friendly staff, so helpful. Lovely little room in a great location. Clean and modern looking and great use of space. Really handy location to get around Paris and it was a great stay to end our trip.
- Sara (10/5): - Really good location and friendly staff
- Matt (10/5): - .
- Gerardo (10/5): - good
- Malisa (8/5): - Shower was very good, tiling needs proper clean. Grout is getting black. No heating in bathroom, meant very cold. Beds slip on the floor and not enough wardrobe space. Good for short stay, comfy beds, good space. Excellent location.
- Courtny (2/5): - No way
- Luiz (8/5): - Very nice and conveniently located hotel! Nice and clean rooms and friendly staff! Lift very small though, but everything else superb!
- Marianna (8/5): - It’s very nice and comfortable. There was 3 of us! A lot of different options to eat at that were walkable.
Only thing they only gave us 2.5 toilet papers for the duration would have liked more everything else was good. Also said laundry was on site it in fact didn’t have it on site.
- Aaron (10/5): - Great hotel, lovely rooms, great location and the staff were superb too
- Jennifer (6/5): The location is very good - It was good, though their breakfast was overpriced for €14.00 for just small amount of choices (boiled eggs, 2 kinds of cheese, 2 kinds of cold cuts, orange & apple, coffee, juice.
- P9416BCnatalief (10/5): Loved our stay - Beautiful boutique hotel right by the Arc De Triomphe. We loved everything about this hotel. 1) The location is incredible, a few steps from Arc De Triomphe and the Metro station next to it. 2) The staff is wonderful, every single person that we encountered was super kind, helpful and nice. 3) We had 2 triple rooms for a large family. Both rooms were bigger than we expected, perfectly clean and the beds were comfy.
Highly recommend this little gem of a hotel!
- WAI THENG EMILY (6/5): - The lift is extremely small. Can accommodate only 3 persons standing, no luggage. Only 1 key given to 1 room to be shared amongst 3 guests.
Bathroom is very cramped without places to hang your clothes and toiletries.
But location is superb. Walk out and you can see Arc de Triomphe and plenty of food options nearby.
- Jason (4/5): - No lights in the hallway 24/7, no peephole, odd room layout, very thin walls. Felt unsafe while staying.
- Armin (8/5): Central to the action - Service was friendly, room and shower stall were clean but somewhat small in size to what we are used to in Canada, bedding was warm and comfortable, taxi we ordered was on time.
- Susan (10/5): Great Stay - Updated and big room. Everything worked. Extremely nice employees Great location.
