• Ellen Elizabeth (8/5): - The breakfast buffet had many offerings and were tasry. However, there were a few things that needed to be netter maintained or attended to. The coffee machine initially was out of water, the warming plate was empty so we were unaware there were more options (scrambled eggs came out later) and there wasn’t enough water in the soft boil egg cooker so my egg was raw. 20 Euros a bit much .
• Anh (8/5): - Convenient location to Arce de Tromph and many restaurants and grocery. Room is small, somewhat smells musty, the safe didn’t work after 3 attempts by 2 staffs. The elevator stops in between 2 floors, as in floors 5 and 6 share the same half floor stop, then opens out to a L shape staircase onto a triangle wedge of a step. We’re seniors and very nervous every time getting on/off and especially when you have to carry your luggages, but no choice. Staff are very nice, breakfast was typical of EU and very adequate. Overall we like the place fine during our stay but we probably look for a little better hotel choice next time.

• Nadia (10/5): Stay was pleasant - Hotel was easy to find and was located in a really good area. There were alot of restaurants around and it was not too far a walk from Arc de Triomphe. The room was clean and it had coffee and team amenities in the room.

• Maya (10/5): Family visit made easy - From start to finish, my family and I loved every part of our stay at this boutique hotel. Flights arrived in Paris around 8am, and we were able to check in early to get a few hours of sleep before starting our day. Everybody working at the hotel was extremely hospitable, and they went above and beyond to help us with a birthday surprise for my father. The location is a few blocks away from Champs Elysees, the metro, and some amazing restaurants - getting around is very easy. There is a combination of stairs and elevator inside of the hotel (which we didn’t mind), but you may want to keep in mind for mobility issues. Overall our stay was 10/10, and I’m looking forward to visiting again.
• Veronica (10/5): Very nice quaint hotel!! - Very nice quaint hotel in a wonderful location just a few minutes walk to the Arc de Triomphe! We were greeted by friendly staff and enjoyed a clean, perfectly accommodating room for our family of 3. Restaurants nearby were good. Our favorite morning stop was Madison Hardel!! Their pastries are amazing and according to a local the best in the area, not to mention the prices were affordable!! Overall we had a great experience and enjoyed our quick stop in Paris.

• Rosali (8/5): - Nice hotel however, the AC was not cooling and it is the middle of July so we had a very difficult time sleeping. Housekeeping was not daily, but aside from that it was a nice stay.
• Valerie (8/5): - This is an interesting property. You don’t really see it from the street. It’s in an alleyway. Location is great probably a 10 min walk to champ Elysee and arc de triomph. Loads of taxis coming by to get to go places like Eiffel Tower (17E for 3 of us not much more than metro and way faster). If you have a car, parking is weird. Under ground but not owned by hotel. I had problems getting the car before 7am to take someone to airport. The hotel didn’t know how to get into parking. The front desk staff was great in afternoon. The young men working helped get luggage up to our rooms (elevator holds one maybe two people small so if luggage 1-2 people can go up but it is tight). So that was very helpful! You park on street in a loading zone to unload or there is an alley but you’ll need to be able to reverse down the alley after unloading. There was no air conditioning in our room or it wouldn’t work, our friends room did have it and it would go down to 20 Celsius. So for our room it was hot as they were having a heat wave. All in all, average hotel but helpful staff. Good location and several restaurants nearby.
• Susan (6/5): - The staff was wonderful. The hotel had charm but the rooms are SMALL. We got a triple and while you could technically get 3 beds in the room, that was it. There was no room to open luggage other than the bed and barely room to walk. Also, while it does have an elevator, there are still stairs that need to be navigated with your luggage.

• Ilaria (10/5): Amazing hotel in great location - I really enjoyed my stay in Doisy Étoile. The room was very nice, clean, modern and had everything you need. The staff was really nice and always very friendly. Also the location was perfect, really close to Arc de Triomphe and several metro stations. The only minor disadvantage was that the noise insulation isn’t the best because it’s an old building but that didn’t bother me too much as my room was facing the courtyard so I didn’t really hear any of the traffic from the road.

• Triet (8/5): - The Doisy is a small boutique hotel in the17th arrondissement, discreetly tucked away in a charming side alley. Our room was on the small side, but elegantly decorated and appointed (it does look just like in the website picture). The location within walking distance of of the Arc De Triomphe and The Champs Elysees is very convenient, as is access to nearby Metro stations. The young service staff is very friendly and helpful. On the negative side, the elevator was not working properly during our stay. The inside stairs are also twisty and narrow, and could pose a problem for senior travelers who are mobility-challenged. Overall, the hotel offers very solid accommodations at a reasonable, but not cheap, price.

• Steve (10/5): Hotel Doisy Etoile-Orso a MUST stay. - This was the best hotel stay during our vacation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very small but for (2) people it was perfect. The room was very clean and offered plenty of USB outlets and even a desk to get some work done if needed. Our room was located on the street side of the hotel. The street noise is loud but once you close the window it's almost all gone, we had no issue going to sleep. The hotel location is great, just a short walk to the Metro and the Arc de Triomphe. This stay for us was definitively an A+.
• Tess (10/5): - I stayed at Hotel Doisy Etoile with my two sisters in June of 2024 and had a wonderful experience! As three young women traveling alone, safety was our biggest priority and this hotel delivered. There were metro stations in close walking distance and we always felt safe in the area of our hotel. The rooms are decorated very cute, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom was larger than expected. We also had a great expereience working with management at the front desk. They helped us work through a difficult travel situation after mutliple cancelled flights form the US. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

• Natalija (6/5): - The area was nice, the hotel is located in a very picturesque courtyard. Lots of nice shops around and a walking distance to Arc de Triumph. However, our room definitely needed some maintenance (there was a blockage in the sink and our bath). The only window was overlooking the breakfast room, so it was not possible to open it or even open the blinds without being completely exposed. I wouldn't recommend taking breakfast either, the choice was decent, but we didn't like scrambled eggs and orange juice didn't taste right. It's a pity, because the area was nice and staff was friendly.

Easy to walk around nice neighborhood with lots of nice cafes and places to eat. We took the metro and trains from here - both had stops within 5 minutes walking distances. We loved our stay here!

This hotel is conveniently located near the Metro line (6 minute walk) and from Champs-Élysées. When I had a question, concierge was quick to respond. The hotel was very clean, staff was great, and the room was great as well! We did go to a bodega to pick up snacks and drinks. Overall, really great hotel in the middle of everything. It was really cool to get the true Parisian experience staying here.

The bedding and towels have no smell but super clean that is very hard to do since many 5 star hotels even cannot do this. The pillows are comfortable. Very important, the staff are very friendly! Highly recommended!

The only negative was the twin sofa bed - not comfortable. I stayed here 5 years ago and this was my 2nd stay and would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

The rooms are quite small, but that detail was fully disclosed prior to booking. The bathroom is also very small. The staff is very friendly, and they all speak English. • Sang chual (4/5): Avoid it in Summer season. - Basically it was good experience in Hotel Doisy for my family vacation. Location is good and I like the place we had breakfast. BUT I suggest to avoid this hotel in HOT summer season. There were issues in AC while I stayed. They tried to change the room but another room also has AC problem, then others were fully booked. Meaning I had to sleep without AC working for 3 nights. Unfortunately the week I stays in Paris was burning hot. I remember it was a new high temperature record. I complained the broken AC but nothing happened for two days. Eventually they put a portable one but it was not helpful. I think, the room condition should be checked and notified before check-in. And the hotel should keep what they told. When I recognised it, the hotel said they will change room tomorrow but told me fully book the day after. Not sure why they did not know the booking status when I complained about the broken AC. The next day the hotel told that a technician will come to fix it but the hotel said the technician will come next Monday which I already left Paris. I highly suspect that Doisy hotel already knows the room condition with broken AC. And the worse is that they kept changing words about my complains. Again the hotel is good but you should avoid hot summer season unless you love to go bed with sweaty body.

There is a nice flat screen tv, refrigerator and air conditioning which was a plus. The only downfall I would have to say are the rooms are pretty small, so the rooms are fine if you only have 2-3 people max in one room. But I would definitely stay here again!

• Jay (8/5): - The staff was very helpful and the hotel itself was pretty. We unfortunately did not have a working AC in our room during an exceptionally hot summer which made the small room a bit uncomfortable amd stuffy. The breakfast was very very good.

• Elisha (8/5): Beautiful, affordable small hotel in a great area - Overall everything was wonderful. The hotel is small but really lovely, in a great area, and very affordable. The rooms are really small but had everything we needed. The highlight of staying here is the design. The place is gorgeous with beautiful decor throughout. One small issue we had was when coming back late one night both doors were locked and we had no way to get in still the front desk wasn’t staffed. Someone finally cake down a few minutes later but it was troubling that there was no way to get in otherwise. Also the lights in our bathroom flickered on and off throughout our stay. Beyond that, can’t recommend this place enough!
• s (10/5): Quaint beautiful and accommodating - Such an amazing hotel. The rooms are so cute and clean. The bed was super comfortable and I loved my view. The hotel is quiet and is a quick walk to the metro station. It's situated in a great location in the midst of pharmacies, many restaurants, and other stores. The staff are phenomenal-- impeccable customer service from walking in the door to my departure. Each member was so friendly and attentive. When my flight got cancelled, they allowed me to sit in the lounge area while I got stuff sorted out, and even offered to help. The next times that I come to Paris, this will be the only place I'll stay. Mercí!
• Bethany (10/5): Perfect for a quick trip to Paris! - This hotel was perfect for my sister and I as we travelled to Paris for three days! The location is fantastic, the decor and atmosphere is great and the staff was very helpful with everything we needed!

• Ravi (10/5): Great convenient place w helpful staff - Very convenient to access from public transportation, local area has a few cute bistros and sidewalk cafes. Not adjacent to tourist attractions (good or bad depending on your needs). Staff were wonderful and extremely helpful with luggage, directions, and spoke English very well. The 17th arrondisement is a fun place with energy. If I am traveling solo, I will definitely stay again!
• Michael (8/5): - In large part, we chose this hotel because the list of amenities included free parking. In reality the hotel is centrally located near the Arc de Triumph, a plus, but only pay parking is available. The underground parking is clean, well light and secure but costs about 30 Euro per day.
• Mo (10/5): Super clean, the perfect hotel - I definitely recommend this hotel and when I travel to Paris again I will book at Doisy Etoile. The room was small but that was excepted, it was super clean and the bathroom looked amazing. I can’t stress enough how immaculate the hotel is. Perfect location, minutes walk to Arc De Triomphe and from there you can walk to Champs Elysees Quarter. Ternes is the closest Metro. There are plenty of restaurants and bakeries around the area as well as nice boutique shops. The staff at the hotel were so lovely and friendly. Highly recommended.

• lien (10/5): Doisy Is Good - Receptionist are extremely friendly and helpful. Always available to help and answer any quiestions you might have. Place is a little small, but very clean. Elector is extremely small. Can only fit 2 people with a large suitcase. Dragging suitcases up and down the stairs to your room is a little bit of work.
