- 4567QBC (4/5): Huge disappointment in Paris - I know that Paris is an old city and some buildings have awkward layouts which is why I requested a room with a view. I asked them a month in advance and we were very disappointed with our room that has a window to a shared public walkway and no view. You can’t keep the window open because someone can crawl inside which presents a safety and comfort issue. I’m sorry to say that this is by far the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in my many trips to Paris. The front desk did not honor my wish to have a view, even they have many rooms available with views. The room also smelled like sewage/mildew. I’m sure if we were given a room in the main block or looking on the Main Street as we requested, we would have had a better experience. Too bad because location is great. But for 300 a night it’s a disappointment.

Actually just next to Louvre museum 5min walk from the nearest metro (line 1, where you can get to most of the tourist spots) 10min walk from the RER station, where you get on the train to airport / disney/outlet also many buses around many restaurants /bakery nearby, including chinese , japanese, French etc there are some hair left in the Bathroom or the room no bottled water is provided in the room but there are supermarkets on the next street can store the luggage for free highly recommend

You can't beat the location being so close to the Louvre and also not far from Notre Dame and the Marais. We traveled with my 89 year old mother and she really liked the breakfast. The breakfast was modest IMHO but certainly adequate to start the day. The room and especially the bathroom were tight. I've never stayed somewhere with such a small bathroom! But it served its purpose and being in Paris is not about lounging in your hotel room when there's so much to do outside!

- Vespasia70 (10/5): Great location, excellent value. - Great tourist hotel. Rooms are clean and mattress was comfortable. Breakfast was also good. The eggs were great. No one does eggs better than France! Pastry was fresh and flaky every morning. Conveniently located a short walk from the train station and the Louvre. Easy walk to Notre Dame and the left bank. Lots of other museums and other attractions close by. Many restaurants and shopping locations super close. Eiffel Tower is about a 45 minute walk, but there’s a lot to see on the way. Go up one side of the river Seine and back on the other to take advantage of the different views. The Arche de Triumphe is a bit far, but if you’re already at the Eiffel Tower it’s not a bad walk. So much to see! Staff are friendly and will let you store your bags until check in time if your plane gets in super early like ours did. Do make an effort to learn a few words of French for pleasantries while in France. Please and thank you, hello, goodbye, etc. Most service people speak a little English but they appreciate the effort.

Fijne ruime bedden met lekkere matrassen. Onze kamer was de eerste dag ontzettend warm ! We hadden de deur naar de gallerij open gezet. De receptioniste reageerde heel ongeïnteresseerd toen wij hierover klaagden en zij vertelde dat dit niet te regelen was. De volgende dag was de temperatuur prima gelukkig.

Distributeur de savon liquide dans la douche vide et non renouvelé ; distributeur de savon liquide pour lavabo ne fonctionnait pas, j’ai dû le démonter …. Draps a priori propre mais nombreuses taches anciennes. Pas vraiment glamour.

- Jacques (7/5): We hebben genoten - Bedden comfort prima. Ligging van het hotel was erg prettig om te vervolgen met het openbaar vervoer. Het ontbijt was lekker maar niet heel uitgebreid. Kamer pas werkte halverwege het verblijf ineens niet meer, gelukkig was het personeel heel behulpzaam. Hygiëne was ook niet fantastisch, grote pluk haar met stof op het tapijt van de kamer gevonden.

- Hugo060410 (8/5): Perfect hotel for a short trip- with a brilliant location! - We stayed in this hotel for the weekend, and it was perfect for a weekend trip. The location of the hotel was unbeatable. A two minute walk from the Louvre, a short walk from two metro stations, super close to lots of shops, restaurants, patisseries and more. Check in was quick and smooth with a warm welcome from a lovely, friendly receptionist. All staff members were super friendly- from reception, to housekeeping, to the breakfast staff. The room was good for a short stay- it was a little bit small, particularly the bathroom, however it was not an issue at all. The view out of the window wasn't great- but we weren't staring out of the window the whole time we were in the room so again- not an issue! The only tiny issue we had was there was a bit of an odd smell in the room- assuming it came from the bathroom. The beds were super comfy with very good quality bedding and comfy pillows. We slept very well, there was a bit of noise which sounded like rumbling from the metro, but didn't wake us once we were asleep. TV in the room had lots of channels, and the heater and air-con unit was brilliant at warming us up after a cold rainy day. Breakfast was great- nice hot, fresh food, a coffee machine which served good hot coffees, a good cold selection, lots of breads and pastries, and fresh fruit and cold meats. There was a cold water dispenser which was available 24/7 in the reception area- a great touch! Overall, this hotel had everything you could need for a trip away and was perfect for a short trip!
