- Annika (8/5): - Läget läget läget, det var huvudet som helst att ta sig var man ville tunnelbana och till fots. Vi valde oftast att gå längs Seine även om vi ska ta oss till mer centrala platser. Sängen är bra som helst , hårda och sköna. Skulle behöva uppdateras och bättre frukost

- eluy (7/5): Reasonable hotel in a reasonable place. - Location: Good and quiet. Within a 20–30 minute walk you can reach Notre Dame, the Louvre, and the Saint‑Germain district. Rooms are as expected in Paris—small and tight, but better than many other hotels. At least we had enough space to place our luggage. Sleep comfort was good, and the ambient temperature was fine. There was a welcome bottle of wine, which we appreciated. A kettle was available for tea/coffee. Staff were helpful, with nice people at reception. Breakfast could be improved, but overall it was decent. If you arrive late (but still within breakfast hours), cheese and ham platters may be empty, and croissants may be finished without being replenished, so you have to eat whatever is left. It is good to have a lift in such an old building; however, it was outdated, so you had to wait a long time. There were no indicators showing whether it was busy, on standby, or which floor it was on. As a result, you had to press the button several times and sometimes wait up to 7–8 minutes.

- Cheryl (4/5): Very disappointed. - The location was fair. The lobby is unstaffed at night which it feel unsafe. The air conditioning wasn’t working. No water for consumption available. My bed frame and the walls were dirty. The phone had some sort of crusty food or makeup on the receiver.
- lissette (5/5): Considering it was a short stay I wish we had a better experience at the hotel itself.it was isolated and no service or - The bed was comfortable and I got street view. However, no staff and when coming in at night no one around. The bathtub was uncomfortable and slippery and got clogged. They did come and fix it next day. The room was ok but needs upgrade and it was warm even though you can open windows I guess at night. The tv didn’t work, no channels or movies. For the amount of money a night could have gone to a better hotel with amenities and staff

It is certainly a budget option so don’t expect high luxury. The people out front are pretty friendly. The rooms are quite small and the beds are just okay.

- Marcus (7/5): Charming hotel with a perfect location and a local feel - We had a very pleasant stay at Castex Hotel. The location is truly a big advantage – it’s within walking distance of many of Paris’s main attractions, making it easy to get around without much planning. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which really contributed to a positive experience. The room was perfectly OK for the price and met our expectations. One thing we especially appreciated was the surrounding area. It felt genuine and lively, with many restaurants and pubs frequented mostly by locals rather than tourists. This gave us a more authentic Paris experience and made the evenings particularly enjoyable. The room was on the smaller side, but we had been informed of this in advance, so it wasn’t a surprise. However, it did get quite warm in the room at night, which affected the comfort somewhat. Overall, a good stay with ok value for money, especially thanks to the location and the friendly staff.
- Maëlly (7/5): Hôtel à l'emplacement idéal, parfait pour 1 nuit. - L'emplacement de l'établissement est parfait, le personnel est charmant. Service bagagerie nous a bien dépanné. Bémol pour l'étroitesse de la chambre, la chaleur était peu supportable malgré un mois de février. Une prise de fonctionnait pas, pas de prise dans la salle de bainn. Le petit dejeuner est très basique et restreint.

Un peu vieillot… mériterait un coup de peinture dans la chambre et les escaliers de secours - une prise électrique qui sortait du mur… Un petit déjeuner continental : rien d exceptionnel…

Huoneessa leveähkö sänky ja minibaari. Hotelli oli miellyttävä yllätys. Olimme vain yhden yön. mutta hotellissa olisi viihtynyt myös pidempään. Huone oli pienehkö.

Télévision très mal placée , mur de face complètement à droite, torticolis assuré, à corriger.

The rooms are small to share. The location is fantastic and I slept like a rock! Best bath tub with plentiful hot water ! Love Paris ! Would stay again . - Jean (7/5): Globalement une bonne expérience, sauf au départ - Chambre assez spacieuse par rapport à ce que l'on peut trouver à Paris avec du matériel fonctionnel, du chauffage et de nombreux endroits pour ranger nos affaires. Accueil (jour de l'arrivée l'avant-veille) très bien. Au départ, ce n'était pas le même hôtelier et la facture comportait des erreurs (on comptait la taxe de séjour et et le petit déjeuner comme si on était quatre personnes, alors qu'on était deux... sur deux jours). On a dû insister pour pouvoir avoir rectification (soit une valeur d'environ 74 euros en plus de ce qui était prévu). Le problème a pu être réglé. Pour mettre nos bagages dans le garde-bagages, on nous a donné le badge avec une clochette qui ouvre la parte ; l'hôtelier est resté au comptoir et ne nous a pas accompagnés (ce qui peut faire peur sur la sécurité des valises qu'on laisse), alors qu'à notre arrivée le 22 novembre l'autre hôtelier l'avait fait... Cela laisse un bémol sur la fin du séjour alors que ce qui a précédé jusqu'alors était parfait.
- Jean (8/5): Hôtel à l'ancienne avec une chambre assez spacieuse et du chauffage - A l'arrivée, très bon accueil de l'hôtelier qui nous a accompagnés pour mettre les bagages à l'abri le temps qu'on fasse nos visites de la journée. Une bouteille de bon vin rouge offerte par la maison dans la chambre. Hôtel à l'ancienne avec des radiateurs en fonte qui chauffe bien. Lits suffisamment confortables, du matériel fonctionnel et différents emplacements pour ranger nos affaires. Un bémol sur le départ. Lits confortables ; par contre, le cadre extérieur pointu du lit peut blesser lorsqu'on le contourne pour se rendre près de la fenêtre.
