• June Schofield (7/5): Great Location to See Ancient Rome - The location to the sites was fantastic, the location to the Termini was excellent. We did not breakfast at the hotel as we wanted to get out and see Roma - we only slept at the hotel. On booking in we were provided with out room touch key and main door code which was great Lift is inside the hotel. Short walk from Termini slight downhill slope, (use metro to get back to Termini) The bed was comfortable plus our room was very clean, staff friendly and loads of restaurants to choose from close to this hotel Nothing could be done but rooms are small, sometimes we found that the hot water was not hot, but could be a high demand time for other guests using the water as well.

• Anna (8/5): Trivsamt, rent och nära till allt. - Det var tredje gången på 15 år som jag bor på Hotel Canova. Har varit nöjd varje gång. Helt och rent, inte särskilt stort eller modernt men allt man behöver. Perfekt läge - Ligger på gångavstånd från flera av de stora sevärdheterna samt till allmänna kommunikationer. Bra att det finns en handdukstork i badrummet om man snabbt behöver tvätta upp något. Ingen frukost denna gång på grund av ombyggnation. Tidigare vistelser har de haft en fin frukost på taket av hotellet. Det hade varit bra med ett ladduttag för USB eller USBC

• SOHARA (9/5): Comodidad y tranquilidad. - La ubicación es perfecta, para hacer muchas cosas caminando. Lo más importante el sector es seguro. La atención muy buena. El persona excelente. Realmente no contabamos con el impuesto de turismo, y no se informa que se debe pagar por cada dia un valor por cada persona.

• Alex Rakic (3/5): Good location, but disrespectful staff - Great location, close to restaurants and shops, also within walking distance to Roma Termini and big attractions Major issues with staff. We asked on two occasions to not have housekeeping enter our room, but this was not respected. They also came in to close the window shutters six hours after checking in (while we were out). When this kept happening, we talked to a third staff member who was very rude and dismissive and told us it was not possible to decline housekeeping (even though she found a note in the front desk book from two days prior where her colleague indicated this). She also claimed this employee of 20 years would never make a mistake, and it must have been our misunderstanding. She stated that no hotel in the world would allow declined housekeeping for a stay of five nights. We told her we've travelled to over 50 countries and have never had an issue with declined housekeeping. We chose this hotel because I stayed here in 2014 and had a good experience, but would not recommend this hotel based on these interactions. We will be staying elsewhere on our next visit to Rome.

• Donna Sabrina (10/5): Safe and clean choice for a solo traveler - Great location, lovely clean room, and as a solo traveler, I felt very safe in the neighborhood and with the code access. I had booked a single room but was given a double, so I had lots of space. A small breakfast would have been nice. There was a kettle and cups in the room but no coffee or tea provided.

• Stephanie (8/5): - Everything was fab. The location was perfect, the room was clean and cosy. The staff were really nice and easy going. The lift broke 2nd day of of 4 night stay. We were staying on the top floor (5th) it didn't bother us too much as thankfully we both have no mobility issues but can definitely see how it could spoil someone else's stay. The staff never addressed the issue either which I thought was odd considering it was out of service longer then a few days. But other then that it was an amazing stay. Will definitely return.

• Mary (8/5): Ideal hotel but rooms are small - So close to termini and collessum, rooms cleaned daily, was worried about check in time and got responses immediately. Very safe location and the door lock is so good, not having to bring a key! Bottle opener in the fridge too! Would some wine glasses in the room. The staff seemed friendly but didn’t have much interaction. The rooms are small and no table big enough to set ur stuff down on, there’s a small table in the corner but not suitable for doing hair or makeup

• María Monica (6/5): El hotel muy justito - La ubicación. Está muy cerca de tren Termini. Cerca del Coliseo y el centro está cerca y bien comunicado con el Vaticano. Perdía agua el grifo de la ducha. Lo comentamos en recepción y dijo que pasarían y nos hemos ido y se ha quedado sin funcionar. La presión del agua era baja. El ascensor muy pequeño, entraban dos personas y las escaleras de caracol eran incómodas. Las colchas de las camas un poco anticuadas y la habitación un poco justa de tamaño. Necesitaba remodelación. La tapa del inodoro parecía amarilla en vez de blanca.

• Grant (10/5): Great location, great value, friendly staff. - While not especially large, the room was well laid out with a comfortable king-size bed and snazzy decoration. While it wasn't serving breakfast, that hardly matters when there's a place for coffee and pastries on every block. Great location near Santa Maria Maggiore and walking distance to the Colosseum, Forum, etc. The elevator was out on our arrival, but the helpful staff carried our heavy luggage all the way up 5 flights of stairs. (Elevator fixed the next morning.) The shower is quite small for a 6-foot man, and the lower shower head wasn't working , but that's a small matter doubtless fixed by now.

• Donald (9/5): Good hotel in a good location. - Friendly staff. Nice area with restaurants nearby. You can walk to train station and Colosseum or Roman Forum in 10-15 minutes. Room was small but adequate. Bed was comfortable. We had difficulty working the shower. The hose leaked and the water never got very warm. That is the only complaint.
