(7/5): Easy and fun - Stylish and central Quite noisy. I was out for most of the time, and I’m a heavy sleeper but the walls were thin and i could really hear the people next door talking quite clearly. I could also hear people coming down the stairs etc. all night

- Elisabeth (8/5): A wonderful hotel full of charm and character, as it’s an old building everything is quite compact, the location is amaz - The location is excellent and the staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful The only criticism we had is regarding the electrics, the sockets in our room felt very unsafe and also the flush for the toilet came off on an ongoing basis
- John (9/5): - Overall good deal. Good facilities and hospitality at a reasonable price. Rather convenient location with great restaurants and sites all around. N/a
- Daniel (9/5): Proper Parisian getaway - Very accommodating staff - helped us with a request. Style!
- sophieG3003KB (2/5): Did not meet my expectations - For a 4 star hotel it did not meet my expectations. A lot of elements of the room were old, scratched or broken. They really need to renovate the room. The bed and diptique elements were great tho.

- Niko (9/5): - Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

- Julie (9/5): Lovely stay in a gorgeous, stylish setting - Gorgeous, charming space. Tastefully decorated. Fantastic patio. Free spa water. Lovely rooms. Luxurious towels. Nice bath products in room. Friendly, helpful 24 hr front desk staff. Felt very Parisian and we loved it. Bed was super comfortable. Room was impeccably clean. Yes, rooms are small but the hotel makes the most of the space. Yes, you can hear people in the hall but nothing ear plugs and white noise won’t fix.
- Dean (8/5): Small boutique type hotel, beautiful courtyard to sit outside staff went above and beyond - Location for touring Paris
Small boutique type hotel
Beautiful courtyard garden
Staff went above and beyond Some parts of upstairs were a little tired looking but that’s just a small observation to hep future travellers.
Liebevolles geschmackvolle Ambiente!! - Super!! Nichts

- Mehmet Can (9/5): Clean and tidy rooms, lovely place. - Cleanliness The neighborhood from the Gare de Nord.
- Micah886 (10/5): Cozy Parisien Boutique Hotel - Convenient location. Friendly staff. Small and cozy boutique hotel with floral interior deign and a nice terrace in the middle. Room is not big but okayish to get around.
- lisamartinarest (10/5): It was amazing! - Our stay at Hotel Bienvenue was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive, making us feel truly welcome from the first moment. The rooms were stunning, and the interior design of the hotel was beautiful and very asthetic. We felt completely comfortable and lacked nothing during our four-day stay. Highly recommended — we would love to come back!
- laurazZ60DS (8/5): Would definitely recommend - Lovely little boutique hotel in nice area. Comfortable room. The only negatives were that you could smell cigarette smoke from the courtyard (or someone’s room) in the evening and the foot traffic of the hotel was loud, Not a hotel for light sleepers.

- AndrewA195 (10/5): A Nice Place to Stay in Paris - We stayed at the Hotel Bienvenue for two nights (we were only in Paris for less than 48 hours) and it was the perfect location (it's a short 15 minute walk from Gare du Nord and is near two Metro lines). It was clean, the room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. There was a personalized note from the GM waiting for us when we arrived which I thought was a very professional/nice touch. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful - clearly very experienced with handling customers and anticipating needs. Like many European hotels, the elevator is tiiny which might give Americans pause. We will 100% stay here again next time we are in Paris.
- jch7dcg (10/5): Lovely friendly hotel - Comfortable rooms and beds in a great area. Really friendly staff. Would definitely go back. Recommended.
- Sandra (9/5): Top - Die Lage & das Personal waren top!
Das Zimmer war komfortabel.
- edel2026 (6/5): Started well but ended badly! - I really liked my room, the bed was really comfortable. However, the shower door was stuck and came off the hinge on top of me in the shower on the last morning. Plus the toilet had no water in it to flush on the 2nd morning. Room 406. I told reception, she said sorry but made no effort to compensate.

- fa338348 (10/5): A perfect stay - The hotel is easy accessible by Metro, personnel is friendly and most important it is clean and offers a quite night's sleep. Breakfast is abundant and good too.
- Heike (9/5): Top Preis-Leistung, charmant - wir kommen sicher wieder! - Charmante Unterkunft an toller Lage. -
- Helen (10/5): Comfortable and ideal location for a quick trip to Paris - Nice view, comfy beds, good toiletries Nothing!
- jgomezoliveros (6/5): The Good, The Bad and The Ugly - Although the location is great, service is good and the hotel itself is quite stunning, the experience left me with a bitter taste.
The Good: as I said, the location is great, in the very centre in the 9éme of Paris, in a cute pedestrian street with a church in front, which made it very quiet, no street noise. All teams were professional and polite (reception, bar, housekeeping), breakfast was very good, and the hotel decoration was beautiful. Also, the in-room amenities (both free and payable) were awesome.
The Bad: it is a very old building, and the noises coming from within the hotel are hard to ignore. Also, and I know this is difficult to control in big cities, I had the bad surprise of finding a cockroach in the shower the day I was leaving.
The Ugly: what I disliked the most was the reservation process. I was travelling on business with my team. Unfortunately, one of the team members had a very serious medical emergency that prevented them from coming. When I explained the situation to the hotel, a full week prior to our arrival, and asked if something could be done regarding their reservation, they were very inflexible, they did not even proposed a commercial gesture. I understand the reservation agreement did not cover this instance, but their lack of empathy and flexibility really surprised me. We were a group of 10 people, and this was affecting just one room. I later found out that they were fully booked during my stay, so they'd not have lost any money.
For this reason, and this reason only, because I think the human side of hospitality is essential, I will not return to this hotel.
- Mª da Assunção (8/5): -
- Anna Gorovitz (9/5): Pleasant Stay with good value for money - A very nice hotel, good area that allows you to go in any direction in the city.
Pleasant view and friendly stuff. Great value for money even in the busy time of the year.
- Philippe (7/5): Convenable - Un bon rapport qualité-prix, personnel agréable.
- Matthieu (8/5): - Location and coszness Bathroom tub
- Lida (6/5): - Ontbijt was prima Sanitair werkte niet heel goed.
- ruizguiles52425 (10/5): A wonderful hotel in the heart of the city - We stayed here recently on our honeymoon and we will be back again! The location is perfect with easy access to the metro. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food in the area was delicious. Hotel Bienvenue is the hotel to stay at when you visit Paris!
- paris20252025 (6/5): nice, but some maintenance problems - We love the view to the building in front of the hotel and the connection to the second room and the 24h staff
- davydm2018 (8/5): Great place! Single person elevator - The associates are so nice! The rooms appeared very clean! The place smells of mold/mildew (stayed in two different rooms). The air conditioning is minimal / none. They use old keys which was kind of cool. The elevator is very small and not wheelchair accessible. Wouldn’t rate the hotel to be ADA compliant.
Would stay here again!
- Deborah (10/5): Charming hotel - Room was clean. Need comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Great location and easy to get to the metro Breakfast was expensive for the selection. Better off just going to a local Cafe
- judy (7/5): -
- Helen (4/5): - Beautifully decorated Receptionist was not v helpful. Not happy when we approached her about anything. No food in hotel only breakfast which was an extortionate price if eur 18. Bar had v little drinks and even at that, they ran out of prosecco.
- Mary (10/5): -
Petites attentions (jeux, goodies…) Rien
- Medschool2012 (6/5): Overall was ok. Good location. - I liked the country vibe of the hotel. There is a very tiny elevator. I didn’t use it but it looked like it was helpful for people. They could send their bags up or down and just meet the bags at the designated floor. The lobby area and cafe area were nice to sit for a bit. I didn’t go out into the garden but it looked like a nice space. Most of the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. I was able to go to the lobby desk even at night to get things I needed. I declined room service so this made things easy for me. The hotel hallway on my floor felt quite narrow. The room was very small as I expected and the shower was extra tiny. It was uncomfortable trying to shower in a space that small. The carpet in the room had stains. Overall the room could use some upgrading. The location was good because you could access several bakeries, cafes and coffees shops by walking but the downfall is that the street was sometimes blocked due to their being a school across the street. This presented issues for our Ubers at times. It was nice staying at this hotel for the overall experience and being located in a actual neighborhood, but if I returned to Paris I would stay in an area where the hotels have larger rooms more like American room sizes.
- Zahra (6/5): I wouldn't recommend for long stays - The room was clean, the location was good and the staff were friendly enough. The room was sooo tiny for the amount I paid! Bedsheets were not changed and the toilet wasn't cleaned as well. They charged me for water without informing me beforehand that it was chargeable. I didn't get new toiletries and the room wasn't that clean so I stopped asking for it to be cleaned.
- norituna01 (10/5): Really loved it - charming, well maintained, glamorous, old Paris design maintained through upgrades, exactly what I needed, friendly staff, good location
- DANE (7/5): - Hotel is in a great location and is very cute
- 691filippo (4/5): room 206 - Romm 206 is not a ****Hotel room. Small, not so clean. Bathroom is really bad. Previous time I've been in Bienvenue last febrary I had a great accomodation and I was back 'cause of that. I'm not sure I'l be over there next time
- Thomas (8/5): -
- jordanab702 (6/5): Lovely Staff, Pretty Spaces, Needs Maintenance - Hotel is easily accessible by many train lines, but not in the most charming section of the arrondisement. The look of the lobby, rooms, courtyard, etc. is all very lovely and well considered, however , the property needs a pretty serious maintenance-focused facelift. My room (which was too small to accommodate more than one person traveling with one suitcase) had peeling paint and moldy ceilings in the bathroom, my toilet seat was so loose it slid off the bowl whenever I sat down and one side of the flush didn't work. My friends had similar issues in their rooms, which were situated in a separate building across the internal courtyard, and had no heat though evening temperatures were in the 40s.
So I'm not sure the value to price ratio is quite right. However, the staff was lovely and responsive. I'll try other spots before returning here.
- aungkhingsaw00 (10/5): Awesome Family Trip!!! - Peaceful and quiet place for the family. Housekeeping, receptionist and breakfast waiter are all make your stay unforgettable.

- counsellorrc (10/5): I want to come back to Hotel Bienvenue! - My husband, son and I had a wonderful stay at your lovely hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer. The whole staff was so helpful with answering questions, letting us store our luggage before check in and then transporting it all up to our room for us when we came back after a day in Paris. Our room was very comfortable and the sounds of school children in the am being dropped off by their parents and also being picked up at the end of the day was charming. Our street was quiet during the night with an occasional laugh or outburst of folks enjoying the evening- it was not disturbing at all. The breakfast was delicious with a lovely lady( cannot remember her name who set it up) saying good morning and being so attentive. I could not carry my suitcase down the stairs and a very strong lovely lead staff member took care of this for me. And the folks at the front desk were so patient & kind with our attempts to speak French and answering our questions. The hotel is charming, old & classic and clean. And the outside garden sitting area is lovely. I hope to come back again to stay when I visit my cousins(who live SW of Dijon) and bring them to stay here too. Merci beaucoup for the lovely stay!
- dineke2025 (10/5): Lovely Place in Paris - This small hotel is a secret place very close to the grand boulevards, gare du nord and so on. The rooms are very well decorated and the breakfast is very good. We love the interior which gives feeling of being at home instead of in a hotel.
- Fiona (9/5): Small luxe hotel with the high price tag - perfect for my husband and I for three nights. - This is a small intimate hotel with luxe furnishings, it feels like a small luxury hotel without the price tag. Nothing
- janssenjulia (10/5): My go to stay in Paris. - Will definitely come back. Had a beautiful room to the Rue Buffault with a stunning view. Thank you so much. Happy to come back in 2026
- swainjd (10/5): Fun little find in a great area just outside the hustle and bustle of touristy areas - A nice little getaway. Clean, cute, good products, can’t ask for more really. Kind and helpful staff. I was able to check a bag and take a meeting in the cafe after I checked out. Go to Boneshaker donuts, a short walk away. I just wish the t-shirts were cheaper; I would have bought one as a souvenir.
- Clare (10/5): -
- AltaBella (10/5): Oasis of calm and charm - I had a single room right on the lovely courtyard. Dead quiet w/ blackout curtains. Comfortable bed & luxurious linens. Great shower.
- L1678MSjason (10/5): The Best in Paris - There isn’t a more accommodating group than at Bienvenue. We’ve stayed twice, and both times had unexpected issues (neither the hotel’s fault), and both times we’ve felt very well taken care of. Always polite. Always friendly. Always accommodating. The only suggestion for improvement I can offer is to steam the carpets, but this has been such a minor issue both times for us. Love this hotel, and will only stay here in Paris. Merci beaucoup <3

- Elena (10/5): -
- elishyavcook1 (6/5): August Stay - The hotel is charming & the beds are comfortable. However, the bathroom floor in our room (302) was constantly wet, we believe there was a leak. Also, to improve customer experience, I’d suggest getting the carpets in the rooms cleaned, they are very stained and made the room feel dirty. The staff were all VERY nice.
- ameliatopper (10/5): Great stay! - We really enjoyed the stay was lovely and there was a great service. Would definitely recommend to others.
- rob (9/5): very pleasant. excellent breakfast setup - Rooms were not as clean as one would like...least not the carpets in the rooms.
- Agathe (9/5): -
- Karen (8/5): Perfect location, cute hotel, good facilities, friendly staff - Location was key to the Montmartre and other central locations in Paris .. also close to the Metro station. Very clean and comfortable and the reception staff really helpful..
- Deborah (9/5): -
- Agathe (8/5): Very good -
- Fiona (8/5): Very good -
- Rob (9/5): Well worth it! - Location and the breakfast was PERFECT!
Staff was super helpful and friendly, EVERYONE! The desk, the breakfast steward, the service for the rooms…ALL extremely sweet and friendly. All of the carpets need cleaning. In rooms and stairs…But they aren’t terrible…just need freshing up.
- Rob (9/5): lovely. -
- RocketCitytraveler (10/5): Great stay, great location - Really enjoyed our 3-night stay at Hotel Bienvenue. The location in the 9th arrondisement is ideal -- away from the tourist masses but still in the heart of Paris with lots of nice bakeries, cafes, cheese shops, etc. nearby on Rue des Martyrs. The area also feels safe, even at night. After arriving at Gare du Nord, it was a surprisingly short and affordable ($11) cab ride to the hotel. The hotel is located on a pedestrian-only block of Rue Buffault, so you don't have to dodge traffic with your luggage. The staff was super friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and arranging a cab to come pick us up at the end of our stay. Our triple room was on the small side, but both the regular bed and sleeper sofa were comfy. Having arrived during a heat wave, we were especially grateful to have AC in the room. Our little room felt like the only air conditioned space in Paris and was lovely to come back to after a long day of sightseeing. If you plan to use the Metro like we did, the hotel puts you a short walk from 3 different stations: Cadet, Le Peletier and Notre Dame-de-Lorette.
- Pierre (7/5): Good - Nice hotel very parisian
- Grace (8/5): Very good -
- James (10/5): 👍👍👍 - Very welcoming staff and check in was great. Good location and nice stay
- Thierry (8/5): Very good -
- sfeldmanesq (10/5): Parisienne Gem - Hotel is charming and the staff is ex optional. Fabulous location with many delicious and affordable restaurants nearby. Super easy to get to all sites. Could not have been a better experience.
- HaMaBa72 (10/5): A little gem - I spent one week in this cute little boutique Hotel in the 9th arrondissement. The hotel is very well located, only 5´ away from the subway with plenty of restaurants nearby. Nice and helpful staff, generous with the delicious bonbons at the reception. Great Dyptique products. And an absolute bonus is that in the triple room the third person actually has a real bed with a comfy mattress. The bathrooms could use some freshing up but all-in-all very good value for money!
- Cindy (10/5): - Beautiful hotel, will stay here again
- Lesley (10/5): Ideal place for train travellers. Close to Montmartre and not too far to walk to Notre Dame. - The room was small but adequate for just 1 night. We had stayed in this hotel for our 40th Wedding Anniversary so were very pleased to find it again.
It was within walking distance to Gare du Nord ideal for Eurostar but for our second stay we used a bus to the station.
breakfast was not included but plenty of good cafe/restaurants close by.
Lovely enclosed garden for late night relaxation. The lift to the 4th floor was very small, only just room for 2 people without luggage so we took it in turns.
- Bridget (6/5): - Rooms were small but expected in
- Rach (9/5): Superb -
- Alex (8/5): The stay was fine. Bed was comfortable shower was pokey but it's France - Breakfast was ordinary and over priced Staff were aloof and unapproachable
