I had a. Issue with my shower half way through my stay and they moved me out and moved me to another room by the next morning. I have no complaints about my stay.

The decorations are classic modern and the property looks newly renovated. The room was comfortable as was the king-sized bed. The proprietor was very friendly and was willing to offer her assistance when we needed it.

Only thing to mention is that this hotel isn't snt non smoking as advertised. My room was in the courtyard and guests do smoke there. However they were very polite and did move away from my door when i asked. All in all, I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Paris.

Wasn’t told about any of the facilities , no bar or breakfast offer explains . Red mark on sheets . No usb port . Disappointing, however in a good location

My two major complaints were that they don’t have kettles in the rooms which meant every morning I had to leave my room before I wanted to to get some hot water and tea. They also have no system to let them know you DON’T want your room serviced. I had to remind them every day and one day I forgot and when they cleaned, they threw away items that I was using and saving. I was very upset! Cute place in a great location but I wouldn’t stay there again. All the staff were nice except one gentleman but I only saw him one day during my four day stay

The hotel is charming and the orchids and plants in the lobby and atrium provide a lovely environment. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are immaculately cleaned every day. Definitely recommend without hesitation.

Some suggestions to improve the guest experience; (i) anti fog mirror in the bathroom, (ii) a full length mirror in the room, (iii) manual locks on the room door so the guests can lock from the inside (iv) soap holder in the shower.

- Verified traveler (6/5): 3 stars at best - This is not a 4 star hotel. After staying in 4-star hotels in Bordeaux, Provence, and Lyon we decided to end our honeymoon here. It was an utter disappointment, and not nearly as nice as the other places we stayed. When we checked in the staff at the front desk said, "there is no elevator to your wing of the building, and you are on the 3rd floor, but you are young." It wasn't until we looked down at our 4 huge suitcases that he offered to help us with them. I'm from San Francisco, where rent is just as high as Paris, and I have never seen such a tiny room. The big issue was that so much of the space was unusable. The room was only 172 sq ft IF you count the area at the loft area at the top of the steep stairs. However, nothing could be kept up there because there was no bathroom shower door and no bathroom door, so the entire floor was always wet. It was also not very romantic to not have a bathroom door... Our second day there, we came back to nap and found the room had already been made up, which was excellent. But halfway into our nap we were awoken by the cleaning crew walking right in, no knock, for no apparent reason. Our last day there, I was in the room showering alone, when I saw men on the roof (through the open skylight). I felt very unsafe. When we complained, they said they worked for the neighbor and they weren't told about it.

- Dennis (10/5): A good name for the hotel! - For our September (2023) trip to Paris we viewed over 300 potential hotels. We chose My Home In Paris, and it was the right choice. This is a family business staffed by the gracious and helpful owners and their very friendly employees. The hotel recently went through a major four year renovation, so the photographs you peruse online are accurate. The location is on a safe quiet street, yet close to several Metro stations and a bustling business district. It is also close to a very clean laundromat. Less than half a block away is the charming and cozy Les Petits Papiers restaurant. While we were there, the hotel was fully booked. I spoke with some of the guests and found that many are returning customers. If we are able to return to Paris we will be among them. P.S. The hotel breakfast was wonderful.
- Donald (4/5): - Pros Clean, quiet at night so easy to sleep, restaurants and metro nearby, in the Marais. Cons Check in at 2. Had to stand on street for 15 min as no one at reception yet the lady said someone is always there lol. Room bait and switch. Booked a classic double room but given an “interconnecting room” in a back building. No elevator. Also room had only a bed on the first floor (no room for anything else) and an attic bathroom accessed by very narrow spiral staircase. Accident waiting to happen. Also had to bend down to use mirror This room type doesn't even appear on Expedia, found it on the hotel’s website. They changed our room after we showed them the picture that Expedia had for the room we booked. Rest of staff nice and competent. The red haired check in lady should find another job. With check in and room switch whole process took an hour!!! Many other hotels out there.

The hotel has been refurbished to a good standard and the staff were very helpful. Our only negatives are that the bed was so hard it gave both of us back ache and there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room.

The only thing was we wanted to bring food in and eat at their beautiful court yard but that wasn’t allowed. We were disappointed by that as it was late and we had an early flight so we just wanted to each quickly and go to our room. But that is not allowed. Didn’t make sense to us but other than that it was great.
- Sun (10/5): - The hotel is located close to Metro line 5,7 and 8 and it was so convenient. Everyone at the hotel is so friendly and venue is very welcoming. There are several restaurants in the area, which makes the location great. I booked a double room without knowing that a loft room could have a two-story feature where the bed is located downstairs and bathroom upstairs. The layout is real cool but if dont feel like climbing the stairs to use the restroom, then you should contact the property to inquire for your room type. There are also two buildings in the property, one with elevator and one without (taller building has the elevator). Overall, the hotel is clean, and we would stay again on out next trip to Paris.
- Diana (10/5): Wonderful Stay in Paris at My Home. - The owner/operator and staff were very gracious and friendly. This is a classy place with easy access to underground rail system, quality restaurants, and provides its own very nice breakfast. The outdoor sitting area for certain rooms is a big bonus. We did have to ask the housekeeper to do a few items that had been overlooked but they were very polite and took care of our needs immediately. Security was ample - 24 hour front-door service - doors were kept locked all the time.

We were in the part of the building without an elevator so my husband had to carry our heavy luggage up the stairs. Our room was great and cute. The bathroom was upstairs and didn’t have a door so it’s not the most private but wasn’t really an issue. We love the location and glad we stayed there. It’s about a 25 min walk to Norte Dame. Lots of restaurants. Close to shopping.

- Francis Wing Hao (10/5): - We are so thankful to find this little hotel built in 2016, it is clean, very new looking, quiet, great breakfast (option when you book), close to Metro M5 & M9 station Oberkampf, only a block away👏, we feel safe here, the owner is always here, very details, speak English to help us. Great AirCon, Elevator, Oh yes one very important thing, it has an electronic safe. It is an amazing place.

- Josh (4/5): - The hotel doors are locked at all times of day and no one sits at the concierge desk either. After a 10 minutes wait out in the street with our luggage, we were let in only to be told off for landing in France too early. When we returned in the afternoon we were told off again, this time for inconveniencing the staff by storing our luggage in the luggage room, though it has never occurred to them to take it up to our room in order to alleviate said inconvenience. At that point we had to ask where was our room, and if there is a way to get in to the hotel, without waiting in the street for someone to open the door. In his eagerness to let us know how we failed to please the hotel staff, he forgot to tell us. I've never stayed in a hotel room with a plastic carpet before. A night's sleep revealed that the sheets were made of the same material as the carpet - which was about as breathable as a tomb. I've also never stayed in a hotel where if I run out of shampoo I'm accused of lying - on consecutive days, no less. Asking for a glass of water is yet another way to upset the staff, who will begrudgingly provide a £4.5 small bottle of evian. I have no idea how this is classed as a 4 star hotel, or why on earth the staff members got into the hospitality business, but the name does strangely fit - it is obvious they would rather we wouldn't stay in *their* home in paris and that we were not welcome.

- Natasha (10/5): - Love this place! it is really like home. Don't book standard room if you travel with partner, it is too small, good for one person. Nice, cozy hotel with great service.
- don (10/5): Nicely appointed, more formal option - If you want a well appointed, more formal, setting this is your place. Two specific items are that the furniture and drapes are very upscale and definitely not traditional hotel quality. Second the breakfast tables are set with nice dinnerware in a dining area with an option to eat on a small patio. The staff were were friendly and the hotel is on a quite street and very close to the metro line.
