• Denise (6/5): - A rua do hotel não era nada agradável. Sempre vazia e com uns caras parados no meio da rua (pareciam trabalhar nos hoteis da rua). O quarto era muito pequeno e o banheiro ABSURDAMENTE pequeno, menor que o padrão de Paris (esta é a 6ª vez que estou na cidade). O café da manhã era 10 euros, era ok, mas não tinha ovo (básico).
• Marine (4/5): - Il est indiqué que les chambres sont insonorisées, mais ce n'est pas le cas. On peut avoir la meilleure conversation avec les chambres d'à côte sans forcer sur la voix. De plus il est indiqué que l'hôtel propose un service bagagerie/consignes. Les valises sont laissées dans le hall de l'hôtel sous la surveillance de la personne de l'accueil. Nous somme tombé su une personnede l'accueil présente à notre arrivée très impoli, soufflait et nous a bien fait comprendre qu'on la derangeait.

• Beate (8/5): - Bei der Ankunft wurde mir mitgeteilt dass das Hotel uberbucht ist. Ein anderes Hotel wurde fur uns reserviert. Leider musste ich den Transport zum neuen Standpunkt selbst organisieren und bezahlen. Das Ersatzhotel war ebenbürtig.
• Alain (10/5): - L’hôtel se trouve à environ 5 minutes de la Gare de Lyon où il y a beaucoup de liaisons de métro. L’employé du soir de l’hôtel est très sympathique et très serviable. Je reste toujours sur une note positive lorsque je suis bien accueilli.
• Eric (4/5): Trop cher pour cette chambre - Nous avions réservé une chambre double et on nous a attribué une chambre de bonne sous les combles. Trop petite plafond bas. Chambre 153 à éviter trop petite et bruyante. Prix élevé pour petite prestation.

• Clive (10/5): - This hotel is great for a 1 or 2 night stay in Paris, though perhaps not for much longer. It is very close to Gare de Lyon station. The rooms are small, but comfortable, with all you need for a short stay. The 10 euro breakfast is very good. For the price, we have not found better when we have been doing a bit of exploring and catching a train from Gare de Lyon. The scores I have given are not comparing it with a 4* or 5* hotel but for a hotel at this price and for our purposes.

• ANNICK (6/5): Déçue par mon court séjour - L'hôtel en lui même est correct et propre, la personne à l'accueil est à l'écoute, par contre les murs sont fins comme du papier à cigarettes et j'ai entendu tousser toute la nuit la personne qui résidait dans la chambre à côté de la mienne, donc je suis très déçue au regard du tarif payé ! (194 €). De plus je n'ai pas pu prendre de petit déjeuner car celui-ci n'était possible qu'à partir de 6H45 ce qui est tard lorsqu'on doit prendre un train de bonne heure le matin...dommage....

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Hotel Bel Oranger var mycket bra, mycket trevlig & hjälpsam personal. Hotellet ligger på en sidogatan, lugnt och tyst. Rummet/Hotellet var nyligen renoverat och mycket fräscht. Det ligger nära flera olika busslinjer såväl som metro. Gångavstånd till Bastiljen och Maraiskvarteren och även många andra sevärdheter/kvarter om man inte har någonting emot att ta sig fram till fots. Något jag verkligen kan rekommendera när man befinner sig i Paris, för att i lugn och ro upptäcka olika områden.

• Thompson (2/5): - Avoid. Pictures were cute, in reality the place was not what I expected. It’s very cramped. The toilet is against the wall so using it won’t be enjoyable for certain people. The shower door didn't close properly so water leaks out and don’t bother asking for spare towels, the night manager says they don’t have enough. What kind of hotel doesn’t have enough spare towels for guest? There were dust in some areas and not the cleanest room. I was hotel hopping for the week and would say by far this is more of a 2 star than 3.

• Hannah (10/5): - Great hotel in an ideal location for seeing Paris. A few minutes walk from Gare Du Lyon station and close to some cafés and restaurants. The hotel staff were very helpful regarding finding a cafe that I had reserved online and were always friendly. Breakfast was continental (hot drinks, juice, cereal, cheese, meats, yoghurts, granola, pasyriee and rolls). The hotel was great value at £113 per night. The room was very small but had everything we needed. Would recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay.

• Catherine (4/5): - The room was in an attic and 1 third of the room and bathroom you couldn't stand up in due to the sloping roof. I'm not short and kept hitting my head. Mentioned it to the woman on reception and got shut down - she didn't want to know. I also had to remind reception to turn the hotel's outside sign on at night. When i was returning after dark it was difficult to find the hotel because they didnt have outside lights on (the other hotels all had their signs lit up).

I have an IPhone 13 and they said the iPhones usually experience trouble but it didn’t work on my android tab either so that’s something which is not at all ok with me. The room and bathroom was tidy but a bit smaller than what you see in the pictures. It was walkable to the Gare De Lyon train station and close to food places and grocery stores.

• Verified traveler (8/5): great - but shame about the check out - Would have been our top spot for a stay near Gare de Lyon - BUT awful experience at reception in the morning. The lady at reception (Sat Mar 25) was incredibly rude and disorganised. Loudly and repeatedly insisted we had not paid, demanded payment (again!), ignored our evidence to the contrary and never apologised when we pointed out she was looking at the wrong room number. Had to know if it was an attempt at scam or she was just very poor. Complete contrast to our arrival when the man on reception was excellent. Room was great. We would definitely have made it our regular stopover, being the best place we have stayed near the gare, but never want to meet the morning receptionist again. A real shame.

Tres calme lhotel est dans une ruelle. Le personnel est acceuiant. Seul bemol la proprete de la salle de bzin qui a un carrelage en relief et ou il y a des traces dessus. Je suis prete a reprendre cet hotel pour mes futurs sejours.

Des traces d'urine sur la cuvette des toilettes visibles à la lumière du jour (ce qui veut dire qu'elles sont nettoyées juste à l'eau). La douche était pleine de calcaire et je ne parle même pas du pommeau de douche. La chambre n'était pas insonorisée et on entendait tout du couloir...

• CLAUDIA (8/5): Ottimo soggiorno - Hotel piccolo ma accogliente, pulizia e posizione ottima, si trova a pochi minuti da Gare de Lyone stazione servita dalle linee M1 e M14 uniche due ad essere garantite anche con lo sciopero in atto. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Unica pecca l'aria condizionata non regolabile e la mancanza di frigo bar. Assolutamente consigliata.

• Verified traveler (4/5): À éviter !! - Accueil peu receptif et peu courtois. Je dois réclamé ma facture et mon ticket de paiement. Des sacs de linge sale se trouvent dans l'ascenseur. La chambre est propre dans son ensemble mais en revanche elle est très petite 10-12m2 pour 198€ la nuit!! La salle de douche a été rénovée malheureusement les joints de la cabine de la porte de douche ne sont pas nettoyés et de la moisissure y est présente... Pour finir, lorsque je m'absente de la chambre, la personne à la réception me demande de lui laisser ma clef et ce alors qu'il n'y a aucun coffre en chambre. Face à mon refus la réceptionniste insiste prétextant des mesures de sécurité...

• Patricia (8/5): - We had a family of 4. Beds were VERY comfortable. Small quaint hotel. Some staff very friendly, some not so much. Air conditioner worked well. NO ice anywhere in the entire hotel.
• Tam (6/5): Nice hotel if you get a room in the upper floors - The room is clean and roomy, especially the bathroom / shower. We had the ground floor room and the room and bathroom windows faced the street, so we didn't leave them open. You can see people walk by and smell the vehicle exhaust (if you open the windows). The air condition helped, though there was a slight odor which the staff quickly remedied. Highly recommend it only if you can get a room in the upper floors.
• chunhao (10/5): Good experience. - Good experience. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Receptionists were kind. Space was not big but sufficient for one person. A little bit sound from the water pipe could be heard when guests in the next room were using the bathroom, but not disturbing.

• Kaeleigh (8/5): - This is a great location if you want to be near Gare de Lyon. The surrounding area near the hotel is also very cute, and close to the river. The room looks exactly as advertised, it is clean and modern and the beds were super comfortable. I would only warn that it’s very loud at night. We stayed Saturday night and outside was super noisy, as well as I think the walls are a bit thin so we heard lots of noise from our neighbours. Didn’t bother me as I was dead tired and easily fell asleep and went back to sleep when woken up. Also, they let us store our bags before check in as we arrived early at 8am. Lovely service :)

Good location to be able to walk to a few monuments and ideally located with two metro stations within a 10 minute walk to get you anywhere else you want to go. We decided to not pay for breakfast and instead ate breakfast when we got where we wanted to go that day. A couple of times we did go to the bakery on the corner and sat and had breakfast there which was very nice. We very much enjoyed our stay.
