- Maxime (10/5): Fonctionnel - Quelques problèmes, comme le coussin un peu trop gros et trop dure, une légère odeur venant des toilettes et le manque d'une prise à côté du lit. J'ai noté aussi quelques traces de moisissures dans la douche mais rien de bien gênant. Et bien sûr le bruit du metro mais ça l'hôtel n'y est pour rien.

- Yvonne (7/5): nice onsite staff but overall poor experience - location seemed ok staff were helpful as they could be. e had to find alternate accommodation. i enquired if the property had lifts as my mother is 85 years old and unable to climb more than 4-5 steps. The property returned my message and guaranteed the lift services all floors which was incorrect information. We had to walk up a spiral staircase (30+ steps) to get to level 1 then the lift starts there and they were not going to provide a refund initially. Eventually they agreed after seeing my mother struggled to walk at all!

It has all the basics, including a hot water boiler. It has a person monitoring the hotel 24 hours a day. The entrance is rather hidden; you may pass it without noticing it.

- Kozak (1/5): - Formal Complaint & Immediate Refund Request – Hôtel Prony Monceau, 8–10 May 2026 I booked a room at Hôtel Prony Monceau for 8–10 May 2026. Before arrival your hotel charged €99 to my card. Upon arrival I was informed the hotel was overbooked. Without my consent you cancelled my reservation and moved me to another, more expensive hotel where I actually stayed. I did not occupy any room at Hôtel Prony Monceau. It is now 12 May — two days after checkout — and the €99 has still not been refunded.

Nous avons été accueilli très gentiment, et nous avons pu déposer notre bagage dès le matin. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Nous retenons l’adresse et serions prêts à y retourner lors de notre prochain séjour à Paris. N’hésitez pas à prendre plutôt votre petit déjeuner dans le bar en dessous au coin de la rue. Le petit-déj’ qui nous a été proposé à l’hôtel était bien, mais j’aurais préféré un petit-déj’ de café parisien avec la baguette fraîche coupée verticalement. Il y a quelque chose de culturel à ça.

Réveillée à 8h30 par le passage de l'aspirateur, fissures et meubles abimés dans la chambre et tâches sur la moquette. Pas de kit sanitaires comme demandé dans le questionnaire d'arrivée, et salle de bain très petite.

- Alexander (3/5): Für eine Nacht aushaldbar, mehr aber auch nicht. - Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr schön. Es sind sehr kleine Zimmer, die sehr hellhörig sind. Egal ob von außen oder innen. Ab 8 Uhr kann man es vergessen zu schlafen, da das Personal in einer unvorstellbaren Lautstärke Zimmer reinig oder sonstige Arbeiten erledigen. Außerdem ist das Duschen in der wirklich winzigen Dusche eh schon unangenehm, hinzukommt dass das Wasser von eisig auf kochend Heiß im Minutentakt wechselt.

Easily reached with metro station nearby, great location for Montmartre & Arc d’Triompe Wasn’t the easiest to get in and out of the shower as the bath was quite high. Very helpful and no hidden charges when booking or during stay. the only complaint i would have would be that the shower wasnt very good and the head wasnt firmly fixed.

- Antoine (7/5): Fait le joob pour 2 nuits mais attention - J' ai aimé l emplacement. Les équipements qui composent la chambre, bouilloire, café, thé, eau, serviette, gel douche. La chambre est vraiment petite mais peut suffire est surtout les toilettes qui sont trop petite impossible de rentrer dedans normalement si on fait plus 1m70. Et les finitions de l appartement sont pas terrible.

Le rapport qualité-prix est tout à fait équilibré. La configuration de la salle de bain et de la douche peut toutefois être moins aisée pour une personne de grande taille ou de forte corpulence.

- Andrea (7/5): - L'hotel è situato in un'ottima posizione, non troppo lontano dal centro ma soprattutto affianco ad una delle fermate della metro; ottimo se si vuole quindi viaggiare veloci per tutta Parigi e Versailles (tramite RER C). La zona è molto caotica per via della rotonda ma paradossalmente l'ho trovato un quartiere molto carino e tranquillo. Dall'hotel pochi rumori dovuti al traffico anche se forse da rivedere l'insonorizzazione delle stanze, che lascia al quanto a desiderare. I servizi sono stati super, il check-in molto rapido e la presenza di un WiFi funzionante ... una manna dal cielo. Nel complesso, rapporto qualità/prezzo (soprattutto visti i costi della città), assolutamente positivo. Direi che se l'obiettivo é visitare Parigi..beh questo Hotel fa al caso vostro. Le camere sono piccole ma c'è tutto quello che serve; la zona letto molto carina mentre il bagno un po' angusto e da rivedere (la vasca/doccia molto scomoda).

- Vivian Jaqueline (4/5): It’s okay for a hotel to be small and simple—but not when rooms are dirty, poorly maintained, and have broken tiles and - Room 31, which we were eventually moved to, was okay—it had a nice view and was more in line with what we had originally expected when we booked. While the bathroom was slightly outdated and showed signs of wear (like limescale and minor damage), it was functional. One of the staff members, Rushell, acknowledged the booking mistake and helped us switch rooms, which we really appreciated. Her support made a big difference after a very frustrating first night. Our original room (Room 14) was in unacceptable condition: it was very outdated, visibly dirty, the air conditioning was not only broken but full of dust, and there were signs of water damage. Multiple elements in the room were not functioning properly. We were told we’d been rebooked into a different room category than what we initially chose—which was disappointing and not communicated properly. Even after being moved to Room 31, the issues didn’t completely go away: while better, the room was still not clean enough, with visible dirt and wear, and the AC remained dirty. The bathroom had some broken fixtures and was generally worn down. The room door also didn’t close properly, which didn’t feel very safe. Communication on the first evening was poor—disorganized and at times dismissive. The following morning it improved, but there was still some confusion due to mixed messages between what was discussed in person and what was sent via text. Luckily, that was cleared up in person. Room 14 – Absolutely not: • Completely outdated • Dirty • Air conditioning was not clean • Everything was broken • Water damage Room 31 – Decent (what you’d expect): • Visible signs of use • Nice view • Bathroom somewhat outdated, limescaled, and partly broken • Air conditioning dirty • Otherwise okay • Still not clean! • Room door did not close properly Booking Issues: • We were rebooked into a room category we did not choose • Eventually, they moved us to a more “reasonable” room Photos and videos were taken as evidence Communication: • Communication on the first evening was unacceptable • Improved the next morning • Text communication was confusing (the room discussed in the morning was different from the one in the message) • Turned out to be a misunderstanding—the promised room also had a courtyard view Staff: • Rushell admitted the booking mistake and helped us change rooms and was overall really nice and helpful
