Si trova in un antico palazzo, ma é dotata di ascensore ed é finemente ristrutturata. La camera é accogliente e spaziosa. Ci siamo trovati molto bene.

They did not even have a map of the area . Had to ask for the instant pack of coffee for the room each day. Would not stay there again.

- iski1002018 (4/5): Too many photos of the views of Florence instead of the actual hotel is a bad sign. - The Hotel was not what my family of 3 Expected and the pictures do not accurately portray what this hotel looks like. You cannot see The Duomo from my windows! Travelers, stop uploading photos of your view because it says nothing about how bad this hotel is. The location was convenient but finding this place was kind of hard. You could walk past it and miss the entrance because they don’t even have a Facade! Just small lettering with 4 other hotels that you can’t even see from the other side of the street so we walked right past it. It was a bad sign when two local merchants had never heard of the hotel. Once inside the entrance is an ugly dungeon with a cranky 100 year old lift for your bags. The check in was fine and the Gentleman was nice but our room was completely separate from the hotel back near the ugly entrance . The room is 2 floors which I liked. The mini fridge had a freezer which most hotels do not so that was nice for making ice. And the Air Conditioning was excellent! The beds were fairly comfortable and the shower was nice. But there was no dresser to store your clothes so we had to stuff them in the night stand drawer or keep them in our suitcases. There were almost zero extras like shampoo stuff. The remote control for the TV was missing the cover for the batteries so they kept falling out which is just shows that they don’t even care. This is not a 3 star hotel. More like 2. It’s for young people backpacking around Europe and staying for a night or 2. I do blame myself for not researching the place better so you live and you learn.

- Vanessa (4/5): Is OK; but I expected more - This is an 3 star hotel; but compare with others, feel a little less. Have a very good location near to the principal train station and to Mercato Centrale San Lorenzo. The size of the room is OK, but it smelled damp when we entered on it. For hygiene reasons, I would have preferred a small new bar of soap to a used bottle in the shower.

The quad room was huge and comfortable, and the staff were lovely! A great stay! The pillows on the beds really need to be replaced as they are as thin as pancakes.

It was so noisy from some works that start early in the morning, and the walls of the room seem to be made of paper, when someone coughs in the room next to you, you can hear it as if they are in the room with you.

- duokorp (10/5): Little gem hotel in the centre of Florence. - What is lovely hotel not far from the station in Florence. It was recently renovated. The staff were very friendly, when we arrived early. We left our luggage and on return, it was already taken to our rooms. The room was very comfortable and also very soundproof, in order for us to get a good night's rest. The bathrooms are very new and we had a lovely shower. Also check-out was very easy . We had to leave early and the staff were ready for us.

The hotel Is located at 2nd floor, sharing lift with other hotels in the same building. We were assigned a triple room which can easily fit a family of 3-4. There was an issue with the bathroom, the staff tried to address it quickly though it couldn’t be resolved.

- BaselLisa (6/5): Decidedly average - Just around the corner from the train station and near plenty of food places and supermarkets. The hotel is just seven rooms on the second floor of an old building shared by other lodgings. The lift is ancient but works. The receptionist explained everything well but we were surprised to find that the tourist tax was €12 rather than the €9 that Booking had said. And the breakfast that had been offered on the site was not available because, he said, of lack of demand. Our room was small but had a high ceiling with big windows overlooking the street (so it was light), a free minibar, a safe, and a nice rainforest shower. However, there were water marks on the wall, a toilet that had to be pressed twice for the cistern to stop flowing, and a new looking aircon unit that made a strange humming noise throughout the night. Although they’ve tried their best to dull the noise from outside with new windows, you can still hear a bit from the busy street below. Nevertheless it was very clean, the location was great and it was fine for a night. We had room 7. The receptionist was very nice, letting us stay on and use the WiFi to do some planning. 10am checkout time!

- Rajesh (2/5): - Try to avoid staying in this place. The hotel is located seperately. The picture and reality is different. Also, when I asked for room change the attendant became rude. I has to calm him down. After that he was fine. But the initial lack of empathy reaction to my ask for a change and I gave the reason on why I need to change. I will never stay here again.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great and quiet room! - This hotel was better than what I expected. We only stayed for one night but I really enjoyed the room's cleanliness and the setup. This hotel is within walking distance to the train station and the staff is amiable, English-speakers and professional. I will go back to this hotel in the future.

- MabdRosa (8/5): Great small hotel in a great location - Rooms, very nice, spotless and I mean spotless. Rooms comfy, very modern. Great big shower with rain shower head. Small balcony, you can open the window to enjoy the city noises and get some fresh air. Breakfast nice, you have to take your food to your room to eat but that is ok. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Great location, Close to the railway station Close to the city centre and all the amenities.

- rewadeea2020 (2/5): Receptionist Should Change Jobs - We stayed at Hotel Ester for one night with our family. I have never in my life been treated with such rudeness at a hotel. The man with dark, curly hair at reception made my whole family feel unwelcome. You should seriously consider changing jobs. Stay away from this hotel. There are so many other ones in this area that will treat you with more grace.

- 959ishaa (8/5): Good budget hotel - This is excellent location 4 min from Santa Maria train station and most sites are a walking distance. The staff is very helpful and my room was clean and quiet. They provided a kettle, hair dryer, free tea and coffee sachets, a water bottle and some snack, they also store luggage. The check is 2 PM and chcek out 10 AM, an hour less from other hotels. They have a lift so it’s very convenient. I would recommend this hotel

It was close to the railway station and an easy walk to the town centre. The manager, Saimir, was a wonderful Host. He made sure that I had a comfortable relaxed stay. They were renovating, and from 8am, you hear all the tools. The bathroom was leaking water. Bathroom ventilator is very noisy. There is no refill for the biscuits, sugar, etc. Light is not enough. Staff not friendly.

There was an issue on communicating through the chat and I find myself calling the z hotel number while in front of the close gate. Since I hadn’t any information on how to access, When eventually enter my keys was on the reception desk with my name written that every one could read, not compliant with GDPR. I wasn’t able to see any tv channels.I left without seeing anyone in reception and they request after a personal document
