Fresh ground cappuccino - with cacao smiley - was greatly appreciated! Breakfast was very basic but adequate. The plumbing was noisy between our & the neighboring rooms which disturbed our sleep. (Note: Bathroom was disproportionately small compared to room size)

• Justine (10/5): Beautiful personalized hotel service just steps away from all the most important museums, restaurants and historic sites - The Location of this property is excellent. You can walk to the Medici Chapel in one minute, the Duomo complex in 5 minutes and train station in 6 minutes! The property owners/managers are terrific people and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They even sent us off to the airport at 4:30 in the morning today with croissants we packed up the night before- very kind. They helped us call a taxi which showed up dependably on time- being a nervous traveler this was important to me. The room was gorgeous with high ceiling frescoes and the morning breakfast had lots of delicious options. The area also felt very safe with the locked gates and heavy wooden door. I can’t think of anything. The only very minor thing I can think of is that the elevator was a little bit slow, but we rarely used it. It was easy to take the steps when we wanted to.

Cristina and the whole staff were exceptional. Even though breakfast started at 8, we asked to have our breakfast at 7.30 and at 7 sharp everything was already in place! We highly recommend it! La qualità prezzo mi dispiace ma non c’è, 170€ di camera per non avere privacy di nulla. E nessun confort in più rispetto a tutti gli altri hotel in centro che fanno camere anche a 80/90€, Camere sottili come carta velina. durante la notte si son sentiti tutte le persone che entravano e uscivano dal hotel, mentre dalle 7 di mattina la colazione praticamente la stavano preparando nella camera con me per quanto casino c’era. Poi il letto super scomodo e le lenzuola sembrano plastica. Era una camera superior che a rapporto qualità prezzo non aveva niente di speciale. Poi la colazione mi dispiace ho letto tante recensioni buone ma per me non è stato così, secondo me è troppo turistico, colazione con pochissima scelta di cui ho preso una briosce alla crema ( nemmeno fresca ) ma industriale, che non mi ha fatto passare una giornata carina per qualcuno che è debole di stomaco .

Bed was an oversized king, you had a sofa seating area and still - Location, the room was huge, very spacious, clean, and beautiful! The staff were so friendly and helpful with booking taxis, holding our luggage and we were able to check in early without any additional fees. No complaints.

Great location - close to the station and only a short walk to the sights. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff member on reception (regrettably we didn’t get her name) and she was really helpful and knowledgeable. My husband is a coeliac and gluten free options were given at breakfast. Nothing!

• dariabcn (9/5): Una fantástica estancia en Florencia! - Se trata de un hostal ubicado cerca de todo el bullicio, pero aun así me ha sorprendido gratamente lo silenciosas y tranquilas que son las habitaciones. Solicité expresamente una lo más tranquila posible y no pudo ser mejor elección. La cama era grande y cómoda, la habitación enorme y muy confortable, con ventanas muy grandes pero bien aisladas del frío y del ruido, además de unas cortinas opacas que permiten dormir completamente a oscuras. Se agradece mucho que la habitación disponga de calentador de agua para infusiones, algo que viene genial en invierno. La relación calidad-precio es muy buena y la atención del personal no puede ser más empática y amable. Nos permitieron dejar las maletas en recepción e hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera inmejorable. ¡Volveremos! Tuvimos problemas con calefacción que nos dio unos cuantos sustos, pero no llegamos a comentarlo en la recepción. No es nada que no tenga una solución. Mandamos un mail al alojamiento para advertir del problema.

Daarom ramen open gezet, maar gevolg hiervan was last van muggen. Ook bevond onze kamer zich aan de kant van de weg, wat zorgde voor veel lawaai, ook ‘s nachts.

We had a lovely breakfast every day (croissants to go on a day we were catching an early train to Venice) . The hotel is centrally located, walking distance from museums. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby! Only slight criticism - it was a bit difficult to find - as it’s on the 2nd floor of the building and we didn’t immediately notice the bell to ring for access when first arriving. Maybe guests could be made aware in advance!
