• Cesar Ulises (10/5): - Segunda visita a Marta Guest House, y sigue siendo una opción muy buena para estar cerca del área de Vaticano y transporte desde y hacia el aeropuerto Fiumicino, hay parada de 2 de los servicios de bus privados justo afuera del edificio. Ovidio, nuestro host, es muy agradable, nos explicó todo a detalle al hacer check-in, y también me ayudó amablemente a resguardar mi equipaje después del checkout ya que mi vuelo salía por la noche, lo que me permitió aprovechar aún el último día en Roma al máximo.

• Donata (10/5): Super tip top - All’interno di un bel palazzo in una zona ottima e tranquilla di Roma vicino al palazzo di Giustizia, posizione dalla quale ci e’ stato possibile visitare praticamente tutto il centro di Roma a piedi. Vicinissimo comunque e’ presente sia fermata bus che taxi point. Per la macchina ci sono molte possibilità di parcheggio sicuro al chiuso a pagamento, uno è anche convenzionato con la Guest House e applica uno sconto sostanzioso. Il gestore della Guest House e’ una persona eccezionale, disponibile e molto cordiale. Ci ha subito fatto sentire i benvenuti. La nostra cameretta, sebbene spartana, era super funzionale e comodissima. Pet-friendly. Non mancava davvero nulla e la pulizia e’ stata eccellente. È stato un soggiorno stupendo, rilassante e ci ha permesso di trascorrere a Roma una lunga ed indimenticabile vacanza. -

• Brian (7/5): - For the price and having my own bedroom and bathroom was great. The plaster was left off artistically to show off Rock construction of the building! The location was amazing! Right next to castles St D'Angelo. The door to enter the building was the biggest door I've ever used in my life, and it took the smallest key to open it! I'm a very thin American, the shower was so small! That when I went to wash my feet I turn the shower off with my butt. New toilet paper holder, It was set above the bidet. For other American travelers, the toilet was less than 15 in to center away from the wall, so if you're hip is bigger than 15 in in diameter You will have a hard time sitting on the toilet. There was not enough counter space to set my bag and toiletries.

Ubicación buena, andando llegas en 15 minutos de vaticano, plaza Navona … Bus al aeropuerto al lado , muy cómodo. El personal de 10, muchas gracias Ovidio por tu interés y amabilidad, se agradece. Con ganas de volver ya 😄 Quizás mirar de actualizar un poco la habitación, pero la limpieza suple cualquier cosita
• Pigatto Vié (10/5): Excelente ubicación y atención impecable - La ubicación del hotel es excelente, ideal para recorrer Roma y con un supermercado justo enfrente. La atención de Ovidio fue excepcional: siempre amable, atento y dispuesto a explicarnos todo lo necesario para disfrutar la ciudad. Las habitaciones son cómodas y además, cuentan con una pequeña heladera. Así que cumplen perfectamente con todo lo que uno necesita para una estancia agradable.

• Maricelle (10/5): Quiet, Central, and Exceptionally Welcoming – My Stay at Marta Guest House - If I ever visit Rome again, I would return to Marta Guest House. As a solo female traveller, it is always important to stay in a safe and comfortable place - which is exactly what my room was for the week I was in Rome. The location of this hotel is perfect - it is just outside of the hustle and bustle of the busy streets of Rome, but still within walking distance of the main attractions and public transport. As a solo female, it was safe to walk around the neighborhood at night and I would leave the hotel early in the mornings for a quiet walk too - it is centrally located and quiet. Ovidio was a fantastic host - he gave me so many helpful tips and even helped me to figure out the buses before I arrived in Rome. If I needed something in the room - he was there to assist. My room was cleaned every day and I was taken care of far beyond what I expected. I have no complaints...the room was larger than most properties I have stayed in in other European cities. So I loved it.

I had the smallest room and it was adequate for one person, would be ok for 2. The bathroom was bit cramped but it had bidet (common in Italy) so no wonder. It’s not a dislike but more of a warning for those who like to sleep late. The people in the floor above the apartment seem to be moving chairs around 7 in the morning and you can hear it. Get some earplugs if you are sensitive. Otherwise the place was quiet.

A localização é boa, próxima das principais atrações de Roma, mas tem que fazer uma pequena caminhada de uns 25 minutos. O quarto é bom, mas é simples, suficiente para dormir, como fomos no inverno, não precisei usar ar-condicionado.

• Elwira (10/5): Our home in Rome - Staying 11 nights in one place is a challenge, but in this place everything was as it sgould be. Localization is perfect, walking distance to the top Roman highlights and if you want to go somewhere more far, there are many buses arround and a metro statìon. Rooms are clean, have everytning necessary, supermarket, restaurants and coffeterias are on the other side of the street. And as everyboday here say, Ovidiio is a superkind person, a perfect host, helping you in everything and always welcoming you with a big smile. My holidays finished :D

From the moment We arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by Ovidio and that sense of hospitality remained throughout my entire stay. The guest house is perfectly located in the heart of Rome, just a short walk from key attractions like the Vatican and Piazza Navona. The convenience of being so close to the city’s historical sites made it easy to explore, yet the area itself was peaceful, offering a respite from the bustling tourist crowds.
• Dani (7/5): It’s a okay place close to everything - The property is okay and very well located but the room is kind outdated and bathroom very small. The best part was the host Ovidio. He helped us with everything even the parking tickets. He is very kind and knows everything around. Bathroom very small, shower doors are weird to handle and the shower drain was clogged, mini fridge didn’t cool well

I’ve enjoyed the food recommendatio - The classic apartment building is cute and quiet, situated near the business district, great location and accessible to nearby cafes and restaurants. 15 minutes walk to Vatican and novena. Bed is comfy and room equipped with ACs, small but cozy has everything you need. That I’m not staying few more nights!
• Anita (10/5): Perfetto - THE perfect location in Rome. 1 minute from a beautiful square, where you can walk your dog. Also 1 minute from an absolutely amazing restaurant (Hostaria Da Cesare Bottega). Don't go to Memmo, they don't care about you there and the food is pretty basic. Most of the main sites are within walking distance. If they're not, the bus stop for some good lines are on the next street, 2 minutes from the apartment. Parking in an underground garage is also 2 minutes from the apartment. Room has a good A/C unit, a mini fridge, and a TV. Our stay was very comfortable. If we ever come back to Rome, we'll stay here again.

There is a ton of restaurants and shops close to the guest house. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The WiFi needs to be looked at. It barely works and when it does it’s extremely slow.

The manager was so lovely, friendly and helpful to us - it makes such a difference being greeted with a smiling face when you’re travelling! We hope we can book here again next time we come to Rome! Limited sound proofing, we were woken often by our neighbours coming and going. But this is minor compared to how lovely our stay was.

• Antigoni (10/5): Wonderful and clean room in a beautiful and safe area - I booked the room a night before, due to an unpleasant experience in some other accommodation. It was like an oasis to me! The receptionist was super helpful, providing me information about the bus routes, the taxis, the restaurants and everything I needed. The location is one of the safest I've ever been in a big city. You could stroll around even after hours, without hesitation. It was just a few meters from Piazza Cavour and beautiful St.Angelo's area. It was well connected with buses. The room was spatious and clean. There is no such thing!

Self check in (because of our time of arrival) was very well explained and hassle free. The property is perfectly located, within minutes of several bus stops and taxis and restaurants and there’s a small supermarket literally across the road. The Prati area is much less crowded and frantic than the historic centre but all the main sites are either within walking distance or a short bus ride away. The room was spacious and comfortable, very clean and contained everything we needed. All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly and gave great recommendations for places to eat and things to see. I liked everything. The only thing I didn’t like was having to go home.

You're 10 minutes away from the Vatican, if you're a keen walker, as we are, you can walk to all the landmarks without ever having to use public transport or taxi. There are a ton of public transportation options very close by and you can even buy the tickets from the hosts. The room was cozy and clean. Check in is really simple as there is a gate code, so you are free to come and go as you please. Ovidio and the guys truly went out of their way to make us feel at home and helped us with all our questions. 10/10 would recommend, we will definitely be back!

• Dawn (8/5): Traditional Italian apartment with authentic decor close to Vatican but quiet location - Fantastic location only 10 minutes walk from the Vatican but in a really quiet location. Air con and fridge in room and very good security to access building. Host was very helpful with directions to metro and bus stops and the recommendation to the local trattoria was excellent. Bathroom was a little bit dated and could have done with updating but very powerful shower having said that
• Ye (8/5): highly recommend, will come back again for traveling - very nice location nearing bus station and views; Staffs are very very friendly！Although room is tiny but has everything we needs including fridge. The showering inventory can be renewed and it would be great if it can be a little bit larger
• Sevim (10/5): Exceptional - Perfectly clean, walking distance to main tourist attractions, nice area and easy access to the airport, Mr. Ovidio was so helpfull. Once again, thank you very much.
• Mirkovich (10/5): My new home in Rome - Exceptionally kind and informative staff, the type every hospitality business wishes they had. Marta's is an old-school Roman guest house, exceptionally clean, quiet, safe and with a fabulous location. It is not pretentious, so do not expect the Four Seasons, or champagne on a beer budget. It is one of the most affordable properties in central Rome. Marta's is quaint, but homey and comfortable. The 7-euro shuttle to the airport is within feet of the property and many of the attractions in the city are a pleasant walking away. Restaurants, cafes, bars and groceries are within the immediate area. Marta's in my new 'home in Rome". This is highly subjective, but the bed was a little too firm for my taste (and old bones). I also would have liked a larger table for eating and laptopping.
