- Palaich (10/5): A quiet nicely appointed hotel at Charles Bridge - The deluxe room we booked was a very spacious and nicely appointed corner room, and also quiet even though it was located in a fairly busy section of the city. But things quieted down around 11 pm and we had no trouble at all sleeping. Every day the staff left nice little gifts, such as a bottle of water, pastries, a bottle of sparkling wine, a fridge magnet, pillow chocolates. This happened every single day, not just on the day of arrival as is the custom in most hotels. Breakfast was very good, there was always a nice selection of savory and sweet foods. The staff was very helpful with any questions we had and spoke excellent English. There was a nice creperie in the hotel annex where we got hotel discount, as well as in the hotel restaurant. It was a wise decision to stay in Lesser Town, because the Old Town side is much busier, noisier and crazier. Very happy with this choice. Nothing really, the hotel fully met our expectations and was in line with other 4-star hotels we stayed at.

We LOVED Prague, a perfect choice to spend our anniversary. Especially thank you to Toni and Ales, you gave us excellent advice about how to get to the hotel, even arranged the transportation to and from the hotel, and you set up our room with the champagne. We felt so cared for. Your hotel is perfect proximity to everything, we were able to walk to our tours and restaurants that we wanted to go to. Will definitely stay here again. Nothing.
- Robert (10/5): Hervorragendes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis! Zimmer, Frühstück und freundliches Persona und Lage top! - Wir hatten ein sehr schönes und ruhiges Zimmer im Nebengebäude. Es gibt keinen Autoverkehr und auch sonst war es sehr leise. Jeden Tag gab es ein kleines Present, Schokolade oder Sekt. Das Zimmer wurde täglich liebevoll hergerichtet. Ich reise seit Jahren in viele Länder, aber derart wohl gefühlt habe ich mich nirgendwo so sehr wie hier. Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf die wunderschönen Gebäude dieser wunderschönen Stadt. Das Frühstück ist übrigens sehr sehr gut! Alles hat Qualität und ist frisch. Ich will in kein anderes Hotel mehr. Nur die Zimmernachbarn, die sich laut auf den Fluren unterhielten und die Türen früh morgens zu knallten. Dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts.

- Ting Yi (10/5): - 1. 很棒的住宿，地點就位於查理大橋的旁邊，晚上還可以走到河岸散步看爬行的嬰兒雕像，且雖然在人潮很多的區域，但房間隔音做得很好，基本上沒有被吵到。 2. 前台人員熱情且笑容可掬，不僅提供附近的主要景點與大概的到達方式，且協助預訂當晚飯店內的餐廳（餐廳的餐點也很美味）與退房當天的接駁車輛。 4. 感謝飯店讓我們提前寄放行李，逛完布拉格城堡回來還發現行李已經協助放到房內了，服務超好！ 5. 房間空間很大，且富有歷史氛圍，還有個獨立的讀書閣間，可以沈浸身心超棒。 6. 早餐蠻豐盛的，尤其是自己動手做的鬆餅機，超好吃😋 1. 房內冷氣設備有點不夠力，稍嫌悶熱。 2. 電梯稍小但是算夠用（不算什麼缺點）。

Affable, well spoken English, friendly, helpful, just plain nice young men, a real pleasure seeing them in action. Christopher even came to our dinner table the night before left this gloriously beautiful city to shake hands and say how much they enjoyed having us. Magnificent stay. Nothing pretentious, old hotel in very good shape, comfy room, right at the end of the Charles bridge with the famous tower about twenty feet outside the entrance. Cobblestoned very busy streets criss cross the immediate area. During day lots of bodies moving through there as swarmed with lots of high school and college age kid hanging out, but they disappear at night and area is plenty quiet. Uber is unbelievably cheap in Prague and exceedingly easy using to and from the hotel. This spot a real winner.

The suite room is beautiful (room 112 forever in our hearts!), with all the facilities for us and our baby (bathtub, all kinds of bathroom utensils, coffee maker with coffee and tea, crib, bin for baby diapers...). The cleanliness is exceptional. The daily details of the hotel towards its customers are incredible. The friendliness of the reception staff is exceptional and transparent (both in person and by email during the booking process). The breakfast is of high quality. In short, when we return to Prague, it will always be in this hotel. Thank you for everything. 100% recommended!

The location next to the Charles Bridge is convenient to the Old Town area and castle complex, as well as many amazing shops and restaurants. Street parking is also available. The service was impeccable. The room was well-appointed and very clean, and the staff were all amazing! The breakfast was absolutely delicious - don't skip it!! I would book this hotel again without hesitation!!

Название отеля переводится "Под башней", так и есть, отель расположен прямо около одной из башен Карлова моста, в шаговой доступности от всех основных достопримечательностей города. Причем приятным бонусом от отеля является бесплатное посещение той самой башни. Ресепшен расположен в соседнем здание, где располагается также второй отель этой сети. Там же и ресторан, в котором мы завтракали. Несмотря на то, что отель расположен в центре города, шума в номере не было слышно. Персонал отеля очень вежливый и приветливый. Нам помогли донести чемоданы до нашего здания. Несмотря на то, что отель расположен в старинном здании, он оборудован прекрасным лифтом, поэтому нет никаких затруднений при доставке багажа. Номер просторный чистый. Гостям предлагаются халаты, тапочки, а также в ванной комнате имеются средства для гигиены. Уборку в номере проводят каждый день. В один из дней мы получили шампанское в качестве комплимента от отеля, а в Пасху - шоколадного зайца. Завтрак разнообразный, всё вкусно. Если желаешь отобедать или отужинать в ресторане, то постояльцам отеля предоставляется 10 % скидка. В один из дней мы воспользовались этим предложением и отобедали в ресторане мясными блюдами, еда была очень вкусная.

- Paola (10/5): Un hotel con la magia de Praga!! El mejor sin dudas - Tuvimos una experiencia simplemente mágica en este hotel en Praga. La habitación 24 es hermosa y muy amplia, lo que hizo que la estadía fuera aún más cómoda y especial. Además, tiene vista a la torre del Puente de Carlos, un detalle único que le da una mística incomparable, tan mágica como la propia ciudad de Praga. La ubicación es inmejorable, perfecta para recorrer y disfrutar cada rincón. El hotel también cuenta con una terraza desde la cual se puede ver toda la ciudad; es realmente maravilloso y suma aún más a la experiencia. Quiero destacar también al personal del restaurante, siempre muy atento y amable. La comida es realmente muy rica y el desayuno es excelente, con gran variedad y calidad. Incluso, cuando tenés que irte temprano por un vuelo, tienen el detalle de prepararte una bolsa con desayuno para llevar, lo cual se agradece muchísimo. Sin dudas, volvería. Fue lo mejor de todo nuestro viaje y un lugar que recomiendo totalmente.

Perfectly located and with excellent amenities and thoughtful touches, Hotel Pod Vesti had everything we needed and more. Even though we were located right off the Charles Bridge in the Mala Strana, our room in the Annex was scrupulously clean, quiet, and with very comfortable beds and linens, I slept the best I've ever slept while traveling. Additionally, the staff at the desk were wonderful, pleasant and helpful, arranging drivers and answering questions and sharing useful info like where to get local currency. Both the restaurant and the creperie connected to the hotel were excellent. Will definitely stay here again any time we visit the beautiful city of Prague.

The excellent location at the foot of the Charles Bridge makes it walkable (10 - 30 minute) to all the major sites. Staff was excellent. Very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague. Not a big issue, but I wish they would have mentioned the local taxes up front. It was on $20 for a 5 day stay. But just a cost they should make their guests aware of coming in.

Every night they lift a litte gift/suprise including chocolate, sparkling wine, hotel magnet for the fridge at home. Nice touches. Great location across the river from the old town in the lesser town. Also free admission to the Tower at the end of Charles bridge. I would absolutely stay there again.

The location could not have been better; in a few walking minutes you are on the St. Charles Bridge. The Lesser Town Bridge Tower is right next to the hotel. Soprattutto il personale alla reception! Il ragazzo giovane con gli occhiali, di cui non so il nome!, si è prodigato per soddisfare ogni richiesta e mi ha tenuto i bagagli l’ultimo giorno anche dopo il check out poiché avevo il volo alla sera! Inoltre mi ha consigliato dei cafè convenzionati con la loro struttura! La camera era pulita e completa di kit cortesia per la toilette. Tutto è stato perfetto, aggiungerei solamente dei prodotti senza glutine e lattosio e un po’ più di frutta fresca al buffet della colazione
- 137nigel1965 (10/5): Wonderful weekend in Prague - I opted to book this hotel largely based on previous reviews and I was not disappointed! The location is excellent being just steps away from the end of Charles bridge on the Mala Strana side of Prague, giving you a 5-10 minute walk into the old town depending on how busy the bridge is, but also an easy, if uphill, walk to the castle, monastery and other attractions on this side of the city. Check in was painless and we walked up the stairs to our first floor room which was very spacious and had a good view out to the front of the hotel. I had requested a queen sized bed in advance of our stay and even this did not seem overly large in relation to the size of the room. There were a few treats in the room upon our arrival and also throughout our stay which was a nice touch. All the staff that we encountered were both knowledgeable and polite, always smiling and ready to help with any enquiry, reception staff pointed out local attractions, restaurants and bars along with free city maps, and even provided transport tickets at face value saving the hassle of finding a machine at a tram stop or station. The barman who served us on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings was also very helpful in recommending places on the old side of the city and was also very knowledgable about the variety of drinks served by the hotel both alcoholic and non alcoholic, also giving me a really good description of the red wine served to me ( most bar staff would just ask which type of red you would like and serve it accordingly). Breakfast was also a pleasant experience with dishes to suit most tastes, I also liked that they had little reusable pots of jam and marmalade that were cleaned and re filled with home made produce daily, unlike most hotels that use the mass produced, manufactured option and no doubt just throw away any partially used jars, which I have always considered to be wasteful. Guests also have the option of a free ticket to climb up the tower of Charles bridge which we opted to do on our last day, it’s worth the climb as the views are excellent, but not for those with no head for heights or steep stairs! We both found the room to be quite hot on our first night of sleep but could not really tell where the heat was coming from as the rads were on a low setting, we did however open the inner window on subsequent evenings and this solved the problem, there was not much late night noise from outside either so sleep was not affected in doing this. There was a fan/ air conditioner in the room but this is probably a best option in summer as the city wasn’t overly warm during our stay in March. We were left with the impression that this probably a family run hotel and they really go the extra mile with simple touches to provide an exceptional stay for all guests that you just don’t get with hotel groups. We loved our stay here and the city is one that we will return to in the not too distant future and I won’t hesitate to stay here again.
- chicagoreview (10/5): Hotel Pod Vezi Creating a Magical Lifetime Vacation - We will definitely stay in Hotel Pod Vezi when we return to Prague. Krystof, Ales, Michal, Martin, Rudak and the entire staff were simply AMAZING before and throughout our entire stay! They booked all of our tours (ebike, walking and private castle) and restaurant reservations before we arrived. During our stay they arranged all transportation we needed. We received gifts each day in our rooms. We had the suites located in the main building which were perfect! The views were fantastic, the rooms were large and a great value for the price and the business of the city was calmed down each night after 10pm. The hotel and rooms were very clean. Their breakfast included with the stay was delicious offering a variety for all tastes and the restaurant had savory and good quality meals available too for lunch and dinner. The location and atmosphere were ideal at the base of the Charles Bridge Tower we could walk everywhere from this location: Old Town/Clock Tower, Castle Complex, etc. - and of course the magical Bridge itself! I can't recommend the Hotel Pod Vezi enough - a special place, location and Team of people who helped create a magical vacation we will remember forever!
- Pinkcatsmum (10/5): An absolute gem of a hotel in central Prague - perfection! - If you're thinking of visiting Prague, look no further than this hotel for your perfect stay. Its location is fantastic, as it's right at one end of the Charles Bridge. Bedrooms are beautiful, well appointed and spacious and the staff are simply wonderful - they can't do enough for you. You'd be crazy to stay anywhere else! It's also just a short walk from the Metro, with the total journey from the airport being not more than around 30 mins, with easy and cheap public transport. Additionally, the food at the hotel is top-quality, so I highly recommend booking lunch and/or evening meals here too. We loved it - thank you Hotel Pod Vezi!

The staff are all friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet splendid, and (best of all) it is literally smack dab close to the Charles Bridge in the “lesser” or “smaller” town. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay, our charming suite, and all the extras provided by housekeeping each night. Wonderful!!!!!

Staff at the hotel were friendly, and exceptionally helpful. The room we had was spacious and very clean, some nice treats were left for us on both days. Food was also delicious and nice ambience there, as well as lovely staff.
- 498markkum (10/5): Charming Comfort and Warm Hospitality at Pod Vezi - Pod Vezi is a delightful place to stay in Praque. It is perfectly located by the Charles Bridge yet pleasantly peaceful inside. Both the main building and the annex offer charming, comfortable rooms full of character, each with its own inviting atmosphere. Breakfast is another highlight: good quality, plenty of variety and the option of sparkling wine adds a touch of morning elegance. The staff reserve special praise for their kindness, humor, and warm professionalism. Greetings especially for Eva and Martin, whose friendly presence made the stay truly memorable. A lovely hotel with a heart, and one we’d gladly return to. P.S. Warm regards to Michael at the reception-next time, the Finnish numbers will surely flow effortlessly.

I had a great experience. - First I want to thanks to all the staff of the Pod Vezi hotel because they made my 6 days trip espectacular. Very friendly and helpful every single day. In general the location couldn't be more perfect, I was close to everything that I wanted to visit. Located right "under the tower". The room very clean, spotless every single day, bed very confortable. Even the location is busy, not noise in the room. They have everything you need in the room, good coffee, mini bar, cups, glasses. I feel like at home for sure. Breaksfast very good, with a great variety of products. I really miss my two cappuccinos and the glass of fresh squeeze orange juice every morning. What I love the most, the mayority of the staff are young people, very nice and always they are happy to help you. And to be honest I don't see that very often. Somebody recommended the hotel to me and I'm so happy that now I can recommend to others. Prague is a great and beautiful city and the people is amazing. I hope to go back soon. Thanks to Pod Vezi staff, also to Mila the person picked me and dropped me at the aeroport and of course to George to tourists guide that I been lucky to have for my 6 hour tour recommended by hotel. Great people in Prague for sure and they make your stay the best days possible. This trip was the best trip of my life...I miss my days in Prague. See you soon! 😁

Great tips from the reception on what to visit etc, they helped surprise my wife for her birthday with setting up a delivery of flower at very short notice, they even added a complementary a bottle of champagne. Keep it up guys! Location couldn't be better. Breakfast was delicious and with fair selection of items. Make sure to come in the allocated time ;) Dinner was also nice.

- tweeddoc (10/5): Perfect, look nowhere else. - Perfect location on a quiet alcove just beneath the Charles Bridge on the “Lesser Town” side. The location makes virtually every major attraction in Prague less than a 20 minute walk. Quiet, immaculate rooms (we had 133), plenty of space and nicely appointed. The staff here are incredibly helpful, warm and welcoming. We were checked in by Tomas (hope I spelled that right!) and immediately felt at home. Every single staff person we met was absolutely delightful. The breakfast offered was excellent, and both lunch and dinner were delicious with lots of local cuisine offered at very reasonable prices ( and a discount for for hotel guests). Also there is a great little cafe associated with the hotel offering the usual assortment of coffees and baked items. We will definitely stay here again.
