Lynn (8/5): - The hotel is a little dated and you get a big chunky key. Once you get over the aged hotel... everything is good! The linens were clean and crisp and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great. The front desk team was extremely helpful. Everyday there is a new cake for you to take a piece. The location is outside of where the major site seeing is, but the subway station is very close and you can get everywhere.
John (10/5): - Staff super helpful (I had a noisy neighbour which was dealt with immediately). Asked for ice and received it. Rooms use keys not cards which is a bit old fashioned but works - only downside is the heavy doors banging shut. Walls pretty thin so guest noise unavoidable but no outside street noise at all. Room was great - decent size and everything worked well including the wifi. Tv location was odd - sort of in a corner so you could not sit and watch directly - only at an angle. May be different in other rooms. Not loads of storage space in the room - I big wardrobe but it was enough. A digital safe was also included in the wardrobe. Location was superb - a couple of minutes to the subway, 10 or so walking to Stephenplatz. Supermarket literally next door and excellent asian restaurant the other side. Bike station a short walk away which I found to be very cheap and convenient. Lots of cycle lanes. Vegan burger joint just across the canal - wide range of burgers/fries ALL vegan which was a (welcome) surprise for me anyway to find in Vienna! Breakfast was included but I prefer to find my own so can't comment on this. Very hard to find fault with his hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

Ava (6/5): - The best part of this property was how kind the staff was. Everyone went out of their way to greet you and to assist you. One major thing that made the experience uncomfortable was how thin the walls are. Do not book this place if you want to actually sleep. You can hear everything in the rooms next to you. The building must be old and it can be pretty noisy at times. Some guests were up all night so we were as well. That is my only complaint.

Nice and comfortable hotel, great location close to the city center and near the train station. The staff were excellent and helpful. Room was clean and in good condition, good Wi fi and breakfast buffet was varied and tasty.

William (8/5): A lot of good things at Hotel City Central - I had a really good stay at the Hotel City Central. The location was just across the canal from the City Center, near the public transportation, my Hop ON Hop Off stop, & next the super market. The staff was excellent. Mr. Thomas who worked the front desk in the late afternoon/evening was great and very helpful. Mr. Rhinegald who worked in the morning was also very good & helpful. The breakfasts were also excellent. The only complaint I have is that you could hear the people talking in the neighboring rooms talking. I'm light sleeper and that was a bit of a problem. But overall, I really liked the hotel a great deal.

KYRIAKOS (10/5): - A very convenient hotel near to the center of the city and easy to use the transportation. The breakfasts is ok with limited variety but tasty and fresh products. The only bad thing is that they removed the mini bar from room (they told me to save the environment!!!!!) and i could not have something cold to drink. Also no coffee making facilities and it would be nice to have a bottle of water in room, these are basics as a 4 star hotel! Nevertheless i suggest it for a good option in Vienna

Dong (10/5): 2 nights - The hotel is located with convenient in Vienna, walking distance to old town center, the metro station is 100 meter away. The front desk worker are very friendly, gave us suggestion of the metro ticket selection. We walked to the old town center and used the to other places. The room is very classy, clean and quiet. The free breakfast is great, even better than the breakfast that we paid for over 16 euro per person in a Michelin star restaurant. Highly recommend this hotel.

The negatives: a) room lock cannot be operated from inside the room without a key, meaning you can get locked in with no easy way/freedom of getting out if, for instance, you are asleep when the rest of your family or group have to leave the room, which is a major fire safety issue, because they have to lock the room and take the key with them and you cannot get out without it; b) unreliable A/C, c) uncooperative and unfriendly reception desk staff.

The bathroom was up fitted and the bed room was quaint with large moldings and plenty of space for a week's stay. However, we do travel lightly. Marco was exceptional and fluent in multiple languages. Other front desk personnel did not seem to have the skill that he has for innuendo and information. He suggested taking the Big Bus (red line is directly across the street) as we had already purchased multiple museum tickets and that would not involve planning for extra transportation. Breakfast was spectacular!

The bedroom was small but very clean with fresh towels and bedding daily. My only real issue is the thinness of the walls. I wore earplugs to sleep which was fine but without them I could hear every word, cough, sneeze.... everything... that was going on in my next door neighbours bedroom.

Victor (10/5): Recommended hotel to visit Vienna - The service was excellent and unbeatable. The breakfast was classy and the staff was very kind and helpful. The location is really good, you get by bus to a bus stop (the last one) which is 4 mins walk to the hotel. The hotel is located to 10 mins walk to the city center. Wifi is good quality and they even provide a free-printing service in case you'd like to print your boarding pass.

Judith (10/5): December in Vienna - Vienna is a wonderful place in December - plenty of Christmas markets, fantastic museums and gorgeous decorations. Excellent hotel, lovely breakfast and comfortable rooms. It may have been chilly outside but the heating was definitely on in the hotel! Hotel is well situated - close to the old town and 20 -30 minutes walk from the central station. Staff extremely helpful and even though the opera ticket was out of my price range they did everything to help. Would stay again next time I am in Vienna.

They went above and beyond and the history of this hotel comes through in hard work and excellent attention to detail the staff took with our stay. Good distance to the Subway and trams and able to get around the city pretty easily from this location.

Dan (8/5): - The hotel has very and helpful friendly staff. The breakfast is fresh, varied, plentiful and attractively presented in a pleasant dining room. The location is not quite central but close enough if you do not mind a brief stroll. The rooms are modest, but clean and comfortable.
