Guest Reviews
- ADRIANA (10/5): - Thank you
- Massimo (10/5): Buono - La seconda volta che utilizzo questa struttura...Comoda, strategica, ben servita dai mezzi...Stanza confortevole e bagno in buone condizioni...Check on velocissimo...Da ritornarci...
- Maria (10/5): - The hotel is a great option if you want to be close to the Duomo and pay fair money. Many options for dinner and many stores close by. The trump is next to the hotel and takes you to the central me station. The personnel is amazing, very kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The fruit was fresh and everything else was just delicious. I was happy to stay there. Will stay there again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don’t exist? - Tried to check in at 23.00 no one was there. Tried to call many times. I am now in another hotel close to it, 1 am, still haven’t heard anything
Insgesamt gut 👍
- YUSUF (10/5): - Excellent and good staffd
- Marco (4/5): - Struttura vecchia. Colazione misera.
- Glaucia (10/5): - Excelente
- Taina (6/5): - Basic
- Massimo (8/5): - come sempre nessuna sorpresa
- Manuel (8/5): - Todo muy bien
- Benjamin (8/5): - Only stayed one night. The breakfast buffet each was standard. No double glazing so the traffic was a little loud at night.
- Danila Maria (8/5): - Hotel carino e pulito, buona la colazione.
- ALFREDO (6/5): Average hotel - The service was good and informative staff. The condition of the hotel I would give it a 2 or 3 stars. I don’t think I would come back to this hotel in future trips.
Tekrar gidersem tercih edebilirim.
- Suhar (2/5): - Do not stay here again do not stay the room was nasty actually the whole place nasty there is bad smell we found out there is a dead rat in the air system I almost threw up i left the room couldn't stay for a minute it was almost night told them refund my money so i can go to other hotel of coarse they refused and expedia didnt refund me my money so i lost over 400$ for nothing be aware of this place
- Valdir (8/5): Nice and comfy. - I have been at the Hotel before. My room this time was better than before, Hotel has a great location, was easy to access the Duomo by feet. Staff always nice and breakfast waitress very friendly. Rooms facing the street is much nicer than back.
- Jonelle (10/5): - Only stayed for 1 night. Was great for our needs. Clean bed, nice hot shower & plenty of room.
Shower was tiny but wasn’t a problem. Decor is dated but it added to the Italian experience.
Would return
- Verified traveler (10/5): Surpreendente!
A localização é a melhor parte.
- Michael (10/5): Rien à dire - Sejours city trip
- Maria Grazia (8/5): - Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile.
- Gianni (6/5): - Prezzo commisurato all’albergo
- MARILIA RABELO HOLANDA (10/5): Avaliação hotel, me surpreendeu - Limpeza impecável.
- Orlando (10/5): - Simple as it was, I had a good stay in the hotel. Staff was very helpful, very clean, excellent breakfast.
- Joseph (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. The Duomo and Galleria were only a 15 minute walk away. Multiple tram routes provided easy access around the city. Tram Route #9 connected the hotel direct to Milan Central Railway Station.
- Merins (4/5): - Great location, great staff, good breakfast. Big no no with mold, the room smelled very strongly of mold. We looked around and found it covered by the curtains. Very glad we were only booked for 1 day, couldnt have stayed any longer
- Miia (10/5): Excellent location - Room was tidy, location was excellent and staff was really friendly.
- Antonio (4/5): - Ma
- Pablo (8/5): - .
- Margaret (4/5): - The property is in need of an update. The air conditioning didn't work, the room was uncomfortably hot. Electric sockets old.
- KathyG1574 (8/5): VERY PLEASANT STAY! - (+) The beautifully renovated hotel is situated quite close to Stazione Milano Centrale (central train station) and all the important and impressive sightseeings, to which you can go by tram and also on foot for those who love walking (e.x. Duomo, Scala di Milano, Galleria Vittorio Emanouele II, Monumento a Leonardo da Vinci, Monumento a Guiseppe Garibaldi, Parco Sempione, Castello Sforzesco, Arco della Pace, Santa Maria Delle Grazie, Fabricio Bossio Clock Tower, Bosco Verticale). Although the check-in is at 14.00, our room was fortunately ready a bit earlier in order to get rest sooner. The breakfast was more than satisfying (we loved the 4 different types of croissants, lemon pie and cake were super delicious, nice cappuccino). Last but not least, special thanks to Mr. Alan, the kindest and most helpful receptionist, who was willing to find the easiest way in order for us to visit the worthy to see districts in Milan, such as Navigli and Brera. Thank you again for your exceptional hospitality!
(-) The carpet in the lobby is not necessary, especially during the summer period.
- SPAFIN SRL (2/5): - Un hotel che dovrebbero chiudere
- Odd Gunnar (10/5): Perfekt sentralt Milano - Perfekt lite hotel sentralt. Hyggelig personale. Trikker rett utenfor hotellet. God italiensk frokost. Rent rom.
Alt i alt ingen stor opplevelse.
Colocam mil dificuldades
- Alicia (10/5): - El desayuno
- saeed (10/5): - It was clean and quiet. Good to stay for a couple of nights.
- Carol (6/5): - Ok for the price we paid on short notice
- Norbis (10/5): Five-Year Anniversary Trip - My wife and I went to Italy and to Milan for the first time (respectively) to celebrate our 5-anniversary. The service at the hotel was great and the service offered by Armando, the night manager, was phenomenal! He made great conversations with us and made us feel at ease with Milan and the Italian culture.
- Saba (6/5): - It was quite a nice stay. The rooms are really small but that was expected as it is a small hotel. Room was nice and clean and the AC worked perfectly. Location is excellent for transport. You can catch the tram from right outside the hotel. It's a 15min walk to the cathedral and a tram ride to milan central station. However, one thing that could really be improved is breakfast. They don't have much choices and its the same things everyday which does get boring. Also, if all the tables are occupied then you will have to wait in line for someone to finish eating in order to have breakfast.
- Victor (8/5): - .
- Mercedes (6/5): - Noisy.
- Verified traveler (4/5): The rome facing on the noisy street is too bad - I desierd a room not facing on the street but they gave me one room facing on busy ondnoisy street. For mewho am sensitive to the noise it was terrible. Bad night..
- Linda (10/5): - Hidden gem in the historical Piazza Cinque Giornate of Milano. Shopping, restaurants and lots of options the city has to offer. Kudos to Elisabetta, for her precious tips and warming welcome. I will certainly be back
- aurorapotter (6/5): Pleasant experience - I was wary reading the reviews leading up to our stay but overall it was a pleasant experience. I found the room size adequate (you're there to sleep after all), the breakfast - though repetitive and limited - was sufficient - and our stomachs were always filled before our full days ahead. The staff, especially Angela, was friendly and helpful. The shower IS on the smaller side. But the rooms were cleaned daily and they did a great job. What is great is that it's close to many tram lines and the walk to the Duomo is closeby.
- Philip (8/5): Nice hotel - Nice hotel with friendly staff in a great location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very cute little hotel 15 minutes walk from Duomo. Clean and well maintained. The only disadvantage - a bit noisy due to tire center as a neighbor, they start early and work loudly. So bring earplugs if your sleep is sensitive.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Location near town centre and transport facilities
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A very practical hotel. Good location, decent condition, the stuff is above hotel quality.
- emazov (8/5): Good location, comfortable hotel. - Very good location, all transportation is close at hand. The Duomo and all main sightseeing is within 10-15 minutes' walk. Free wi-fi is available throughout the property. The staff was friendly and always available. Not much variety at breakfast but it was sufficient. The only con was absence of an iron - first time in my 30 years of travel. All the rest was good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Wonderful staff & location...would have preferred more comfortable mattress & I love feather pillows
- WILLIAM (8/5): Excellent location and staff. - Excellent location and friendly front desk staff. Breakfast is included and ok. Good Coffee. Taxi stand in front of hotel, very convenient as we did not find them expensive. Did not give full stars for comfort because A/C could be improved, could cool more for this time of year (July, very hot).
- John (10/5): - friendly front desk staff, nice location, very convenient to take public transportation; but the room (especially the bathroom) is smaller than I expected
- MarkP194 (2/5): VERY , VERY NOISY. - Directly above a very busy 3 - lane freeway and only on first floor, the noise here is incredible - even with windows closed and ear plugs from next door pharmacy. Didn't sleep a wink so beware. Great breakfast and nice staff , though.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel was dated in style but very clean. The front desk staff were all INCREDIBLY helpful and accommodating. Location was very convenient /central
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Lovely hosts who were most helpful.
My room was a bit noisy : ( as with the windows open I could hear all the bins being emptied! Also the hotel was too hot - less heating needed. Convenient location and lovely breakfast.
Thank you!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I would never ever would stay in my life time until I die
- Philip (8/5): Great Hotel, friendly staff! - Great little hotel, friendly attentive staff and in a great location.
- Charles (8/5): Cinque Giornate, Milan - Milan is an expensive city so given this, Cinque Giornate was a good find. As a three star hotel, my expectation is relatively no frills, however the staff were polite and helpful, the rooms were clean and the breakfast although unremarkable was certainly passable.
It really wins though on value and location - it's on the direct bus route to Linate (73 bus leaves from outside the door and takes 20 mins to airport) and is an easy 10 minute walk into the historical centre, the Duomo and the sites.
The only real downsides to the hotel were that the rooms were extremely hot and a little noisy as it is on a main road, equally in our room the safe didn't work. other than that Cinque Giornate served us well.
- jack (10/5): Nice hotel very conveniently located. - The hotel is very well linked to train, tram, bus network. All tourist sites are close by.
- M2138BMpeterb (6/5): Be ready for small rooms - Good location and easy to get to from train / bus station ... but the rooms are very small .. barely enough room to turn around once you set up suitcases ...
TV did not work, safe in room did not work
Water was turned off for maintenance on last day so we had to get up early to shower
Kinda frustrating ..
Nice staff at front reception but hotel could use a little TLC
Decent little breakfast to start the day .. expresso was awesome
- joe (8/5): Very nice people in the front desk - The people in the front desks are very nice helpful and friendly. Close to tram rail way going to the central station. And lots of restaurants around the area
- lorenab61 (8/5): Nice stay - We recommend this hotel ...we would definitely go back on our next visit..
Clean rooms and friendly and helpful staff...a little far from city center but walking was a nice time to appreciate the city. Milan is a lot more than we imagine and the hotel made our stay much more enjoyable...thank you for your hospitality
Our family
- Arthur (8/5): Ok for a clean place to lay your head at night. - Pleasant staff, buffet breakfast sufficient, a little dated and need of some refurbishment. Generally clean although there was a significant amount of dust in high places. Room pretty small. The lift felt very unpleasant, used the stairs, but we were on the first floor. It would have been lovely to have brewing facilities to make a cup of tea. Generally sufficient for our needs. 3* rating a little generous camparing other 3* establishments we have used in the past.
- George (10/5): cinque stelle - nice and clean hotel
- Paul (8/5): A good relatively inexpensive 3 star hotel - This is a good hotel situated in central Milan. The staff are friendly and I found to be very helpful. My room was small but on this occasion it was for single occupancy. It was clean and tidy. Good wifi connection even in the room. There was also a wired connection facility also in the room. Not enough electric sockets available in the room but managed to get by! This was my second visit to this hotel. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room that does not face out on to the main road. Whilst there are external shutters and double glazed internal windows, the emergency services tend to blast away on their sirens in the middle of the night regardless of the fact that there is little or no other traffic around!!
- george (10/5): Nice stay - Ideally centrally located hotel
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great value - Located 10 minutes walk from the Duomo. Tram and taxi station in front.
Big room and bathroom. A little dated but clean and nice.
- PAOLA (8/5): Nice hotel for the money paid - Very simple but nice hotel. People very friendly and helpful. Well located. Good breakfast. Wi-fi worked fine.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very good hotel - When I will visit milan again I will be a gust of this hotel
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Nice hotel. Close to Milano Centrale. 12 min walk from duomo.
- kblounas (8/5): Boutique hotel close to center - Very close to city center, with many trams and buses around to go everywhere in the city you need to. Not so big rooms, but clean and with a nice tv with usb player. Free wifi, not so fast but did the job. Staff at reception was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was minimal, not many options but coffee was good. Lift type was something i met only in this hotel, it must be safe but slow. Need some decoration for the eye, but everything works well if you think about efficiency. I liked the outside when went to smoke a cigarrete, nice plaza to have your cigarette.
- bj_rnj467 (6/5): Somewhat worn but does the job - Cinque Giornate is located a bit of center in Milan, but on the other hand there are several restaurants in the vicinity as well as a large shopping mall (COIN). The hotel is mid-class, somewhat worn, but functional. A good thing is that it is close to the bus line going from the Linate airport to the city center.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was alright, but as the rest of the hotel, it would benefit from renovation. Everything was in working order. The room had climate control, minibar and a small TV. Breakfast was alright. Small by Scandinavian or US standard, but better than other Italian hotels I have stayed at. Price was fair given the fact that hotels in Milan can be VERY expensive.
- alimurate (10/5): cozy hotel in the center - Very nice placed boutique hotel in the center . Easy connection to everywehere and waliking distance to main shops around . Very nice small breakfast area and hotel rooms are small but clean and tidy. Reception always helpy and smiling. Place is very nice to reach everywehere in the city.
- vandernilla (6/5): GOOD LOCATION, SIMPLE - this hotel is right on the 5 giornate piazza. It is very well located and there is a tram that takes you directly to the central station just a few meters from the door.
The hotel is old and could do with a revamp, the rooms are quite small. however I was sent there for business and only stayed there a few hours to sleep, it was clean and the breakfast was ok. The staff was extremely friendly . Not ideal for a holiday , but for a quick in and out for a couple of days it is ok.
- Gordon (6/5): Quiet location close to centre of city. - The bathroom was small and the shower was tiny. I am tall and thin but had to turn sideways to get into the shower through the small opening. Not for over weight people.
Location is about 10-15 minute walk from Duomo but on the opposite side of the city to the Castello and other attractions.
- johanac34 (6/5): Do the Job - Seems like a movie in the 80's. Not modern but have his charm. Should have iron board. Room are very clean and cleaner really friendly. Staff is helpful. Perfect if you do not spend time in your room and work or visit around.
- Catalin (8/5): Walking distance to city centre - Walking distance to city centre (20 minutes). Direct bus from airport to hotel, very good breakfast (continental), very good location. The only thing is that it's right at a roundabout with quite a bit of vehicular and streetcar traffic - it was a bit noisy.
- baby_vlas (6/5): Nice but not the best - Not the best experience that I had for sure. If I had a chance - I would rather choose another hotel for the same price. As main disadvantages I would point out the following: old style - it's seen that hotel was not refurbished for very long time, rooms are small - we could hardly move around, Basic breakfast, we came closer to the end of breakfast and there were almost nothing to eat. Very hard to find a parking slot. Moreover it was extremely hot in a room. The conditioner (which is inside the room) was not working. The only option is to open a window but then it became SO NOISY that you cannot sleep..
- Verified traveler (8/5): Easy access to the bus, next to amazing pizza! - The staff was very helpful and friendly! My only complaints were that our safe didn't work, and the ac didn't cool the room very much. Otherwise, it was close to public transportation and easy to get into the city center. And literally around the corner was an incredible pizza restaurant and gelato shop! Very convenient!
- Hinesh (8/5): Great little hotel. - Great little hotel with amazing service. Location ideal for sight seeing and shopping, however closest metro station approximately 15min walk away. Good value from money and rooms were very clean. Will definately stay again.
- Mike (6/5): Reasonable place to stay - Everything was very clean. Shower was a tight fit. Safe was too small for laptop. When opening windows I could smell cigarettes from sidewalk one floor below, and fumes from gas station pumps too. It would be better to get room facing inwards to avoid these and street noise. Very good location near the center part of Milan. Lots of taxis lined up at a stop right outside the hotel lobby.
- Not Provided (8/5): Stay in Hotel Cinque Giornate - Room was clean with all the expected amenities. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Milan is a big city but even so, I thought the hotel was a little expensive for what it is.
- marinan544 (8/5): Great location hotel with minor flaws! - As much as this hotel is in 'downtown' Milan, it's actually only 5 minutes from the Duomo on the tram, or 15 minutes if you want to stroll.
Unfortunately I stayed in a 'smoking' room as that was all they had left, and the room had a lingering smell of smoke and just a general 'old' smell. I had to leave the windows open all day so I could breathe and smell normality. of course this wasn't the safest thing to do, but hey-ho!
The room was facing the busy main road and the noise was ridiculously loud but the double hazing helped, but as I wasn't there much it was bearable. however in the evenings it was too noisy to open them.
The zircon was on all the time and i couldn't work out how to turn it off.
The wifi didn't work well, only by the door. When i complained I was told it would only work properly if I was in the lobby or if I was in a room close to the router. RIDICULOUS! I only got reception in my room when I was perched behind the door.
Breakfast was good, lots of meat, croissants, juices and cakes on offer, I was pleasantly surprised! If you ever missed it, there was a nice pizza bakery next door that was cheaper than chips!
I would defo stay again as I loved the central location, where you were in the middle of three tram lines, but the WIFI situation really needs to be addressed in this day and age!
- Romeo (8/5): Excellent - Employee was cooperative ands they work hard for guest satisfaction and we are happy and I'm looking forward coming back and i will recommend my friends here in California and try your service. Thank you
- Verified traveler (6/5): A lovely hotel fifteen minutes walk from The Duomo - We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cinque Giornate. The room itself was a bit warm and a bit small but comfortable and clean. It is in a great location, just off the beaten path to feel like a real neighbourhood . The staff were very friendly and the breakfast very nice.
- Chris2win (2/5): Most horrible experience - I’ve had the worst experience with Hotel Cinque Giornate in Milan.
My room stunk of old man’s cologne with an underlining smell of tobacco it was so strong that it was emanating from everything, carpet, bedsheets…
Even with the window opened for hours (which by the way opens on one of the busiest avenue so very noisy) the stink didn’t reduce!
Finally around 3.30 AM I had to leave the room, I couldn’t sleep my throat and lungs were burning and had to share my colleague's room. I gave back the key downstairs were the guy assured me we would sort it in the morning as there were no other rooms free.
The next day it was a different guy at reception who was very rude and just told me it wasn’t the hotel fault what customers before did and what do I expect him to do. Well should I say it's not my faul;t either and I paid for 180eur for a room I couldn't sleep in!
He then generously offered to give me a small bottle of water for free for my trouble!
Anyway even without this incident no way this hotel deserve 3 starts rooms are very old, breakfast is minimalist and the rooms are very noisy...
There are many hotels in Milan that are much better and I really don't recommend.
