- christa (5/5): Fawlty Towers gastvrijheid - Check-in medewerker was behulpzaam met extra vroege check-in en venetie tax registratie. Zelfde medewerker gaf ook professionele bediening bij het ontbijt. Na lange excursiedag was er elektriciteitspanne in het hele hotel/gebouw. Vanaf 19u was er geen receptie dienst meer, wel een noodnummer. De medewerker kon enkel bars en arrogant zeggen dat er pas de volgende ochtend hulp zou komen (de batterij v d noodverlichting was inmiddels leeg). Hij zei dat het ons vrij stond om te vertrekken en om een andere accommodatie te kiezen (om 21u opeen vrijdagavond) indien we het niet eens waren, en zei nors dat wij niet met hem, maar met Booking een contract hadden. Het was duidelijk niet de eerste keer dat de man 'gestoord' werd. Op de electriciteitskast hing al een aanwijzing om de schakelaar terug omhoog te zetten. De medewerker gaf een groffe opmerking over 'weer eens een domme vrouw die iets in een kamer overdraaid had'. We zijn dan maar opnieuw naar buiten getrokken en hebben in een meer gastvrije locatie onze gsms opgeladen, zo hadden we genoeg licht met onze telefoon in het donker gebouw. De volgende ochtend om half negen, na ontbijt (in aanpalend gebouw), was er terug elektriciteit.

Τα κρεβάτια ήταν δυο ντιβάνια ενωμένα με κακό στρώμα.Η πόρτα της εισόδου χτυπούσε δυνατά σε κάθε άνοιγμα με αποτέλεσμα να κοπανάει και η κλειστή δική μας .Δεν δικαιολογεί τα αρκετά χρήματα που δίνεις.

Recomendo. Pena não ter elevador ficamos no 3º piso, e a entrada não valoriza o belo hotel que é por dentro.

- Hossein (9/5): Was good - The hotel was good overall. Although it is located in an old building, it is very well maintained and kept clean. The location is excellent, within walking distance of most major tourist attractions, which makes exploring the city very convenient. The highlight of the stay was definitely the breakfast. It offered a wide variety of choices, and it was served at the table by a very professional and attentive lady, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a pleasant stay and a great option for visitors to Venice. Doesn't have elevator
- Christopher (1/5): * Air conditioning was unavailable despite instructions being provided. * Room was uncomfortably hot with no alternative - Good location WARNING – Do Not Stay at This Hotel Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and, at times, unsafe. Upon arrival, we were provided with printed instructions in our room on how to operate the air conditioning. However, after following the instructions multiple times, the unit only produced hot air. After nearly an hour of troubleshooting, we gave up and opened the windows. We had also requested that the beds be split prior to arrival. The front desk staff appeared reluctant to accommodate this request and only agreed after we insisted it would be an issue for our stay. The following morning, we reported the air conditioning problem to the front desk. We were then informed that the hotel does not turn on air conditioning until May 15. This was never disclosed in advance. Despite the room reaching approximately 28°C (82°F), no alternative solution was offered. When we requested a fan, we were told none were available. It is unclear why guests are given instructions for a system that is not operational. Because we were forced to keep the windows open, we experienced excessive noise throughout the night. The narrow canal walkways amplify sound, making it feel as though people are directly inside the room. Noise levels remained high until approximately 5:00 AM. Additionally, the open windows led to a significant mosquito issue, resulting in dozens of bites. There were also concerning safety and maintenance issues: * The shower drain cover was loose and unstable, causing multiple slips and presenting a clear safety hazard. * A wall-mounted light fixture was not properly secured and appeared to be held in place only by its fabric covering, creating a risk of it falling. Overall, the hotel’s apparent effort to reduce energy costs at the expense of guest comfort and safety resulted in one of the worst hotel stays I have experienced anywhere in the world.

Het ontbijt werd aan tafel gereserveerd en was gevarieerd (wel elke dag bijna hetzelfde). De locatie was natuurlijk heel goed! Na de check-in hebben we niemand meer aangetroffen aan de receptie en ook via email kwam geen reactie. Spijtig dat we op die manier niets konden vragen of regelen.

Colazione scarsa e con prodotti davvero di basso livello rispetto al prezzo richiesto della camera. Aree comuni inesistenti e non c'è neanche un bagno al servizio degli ospiti.

Unfortunately, one of the nights there was no light in our room and we call the emergency phone number, since there is no one at the reception after certain hour. They told us that nobody could come around to fix it, so more than the light, there was no way to charge electronics for the next day.

Daily room turnover services We experienced a power outage one night and since there is no staff onsite after 6pm, nor do they provide a number to contact in off hours, we were stuck with no power and nobody to contact for help. The sink in our room leaked and made the entire bathroom floor wet when used. Toilet did not flush. We also found old food in the minifridge left by the prior tenant, showing the room was not thoroughly cleaned.

- Christian (10/5): Ich komme gerne wieder. Grazie. - Der CheckIn war unkompliziert und die Dame an der Rezeption sehr freundlich und kompetent. Die Lage zwischen Markusplatz und Rialtobrücke ist nicht zu schlagen. Da das Hotel jedoch in einer schwach frequentierten Gasse liegt war es auch in der Nacht total ruhig! Ich würde mir wünschen dass beim Check-In gefragt wird was man zum Frühstück möchte. Das Frühstück war extrem reichhaltig, viel mehr als ich jemals essen könnte. Ich fände es toll wenn man angeben könnte was man zum Frühstück möchte, damit nichts verschwendet wird.

- GHIRARDO DIEGO (1/5): Sconsigliato - Il bagno unica nota positiva, nuovo e pulito (anche se non c'era il tappeto per la doccia). Tutto il resto lo bocciamo.... Stanza piccola, tende bucate e in alcuni punti rattoppate, anta della finestra completamente rotta e penzolante, mancava un pezzo per chiuderla, non c'erano oscuranti, quindi alle sei del mattino la stanza era completamente illuminata... Non parliamo della vista dalla finestra.. Comunque, potremmo anche accettare tutto se avessimo pagato il giusto, invece siamo stati assolutamente ingannati da un super sconto che lasciava intendere una stanza quasi di lusso, l'esatto opposto, abbiamo pernottato spesso a Venezia nello stesso periodo in alberghi molto più di livello, il sabato anziché la domenica sul lunedì come ieri e in posizione migliore, pagando esattamente la metà. Assolutamente sconsigliato.

- Omer (3/5): Bien pour un quartier comme San Marco mais sans + - L’emplacement de l’hôtel à proximité de tout. Vous pouvez tout faire à pied. Si vous cherchez à être au centre de San Marco cet hotel est idéal. Pas de climatisation dans la chambre, les chambres sont petites, beaucoup d’humidité. Énormément de bruits dans les chambres à coté. Pas de personnel le soir si vous comptez venir en soirée.

- Wolfgang (8/5): Wir hatten drei glückliche Tage in Venedig! - Zimmer war super geräumig mit bequemen Betten und schönen Ausblick. Tolles Badezimmer. Die Lage ist perfekt. Man erreicht in wenigen Minuten den Markusplatz oder die Rialto- Brücke. Sehr gutes reichliches Frühstück. Fällt mir nichts ein.
