• Shelley (9/5): Great location, nice balcony , very clean. Wonderful rooftop terrace. Great for short stay - The location and the view from the balcony were wonderful . The hotel was very clean and relatively quiet. Liked the snack area and snacks provided in room upon arrival. We found the bed to e very comfortable. And we loved the rooftop terrace, wonderful view and comfy furniture The size of the bathroom made it very difficult to organize our toiletries/ cosmetics for a 4 night stay. The towels were very rough and in need of replacement . VERY small bathroom short on amenities . One gel to do everything- soap, shampoo, conditioner . Also didn’t like the fact you needed a code to enter the front gate after a certain hour, then another code to enter the Hotel and then a key to get into your room. For the price , we would prefer to be be able to walk into the hotel and use our room key . Probably not a big deal for many but just something else to have to keep track of on your vacation. We wanted to take a break from technology on this vacation but it seems impossible.

We pointed out the awful smell in the room and asked for a room change. The owner informed us there were no rooms available but could refund our stay as compensation. We agreed. A month has passed since this declaration, and the money has still not arrived. It's unbelievable how people can lie and deceive people like this. First, they said they couldn't make a transfer due to technical difficulties, then they said they would send a check. The person I contacted said they personally sent the check, but of course, nothing happened. How can such people run a business? Finally, in response to comments, they will respond with such heresies that have nothing to do with the truth. To prove it, I'm sending two screenshots of how deceitful and shameless the people running this shelter are. Don't fall for their tricks and make money, they're not worth it!!!

• Antonia (10/5): Very nice and I would stay here again! - Great location and easy to get to everything by foot. The room was very nice and I liked the little few we had. I would definitely consider staying here again in the near future if I ever return to Florence. The only thing I didn’t like was all the noise outside at night but not much you can do to avoid that being in the area it is in.

• Isabel (9/5): A perfect room for a long weekend away - The location was perfect. Very close to the tram that takes you straight to the airport and a few steps from the market and the city centre. The view was glorious, and overall a very practical arrangement with all the basics, codes to get in and out easily and luggage lockers. Staff were very friendly and helpful too Decor wasn't to my taste and the towels could have been a bit more premium but honestly the good outweigh the bads

Close to the train station for day trips and 7-10 min walk to Duomo. Small room but efficient. Had an awesome roof top with seating where you could relax, bring a bottle of wine and take incredible pictures. Elevator to the 5th floor was great. Needed to replenish toilet paper with a little more as we stayed for 6 nights.

Ein wundervoller Ausblick über den Dächern von Florenz von Balkon aus: wir haben sehr genossen! 6-er Etage, Aufzug vorhanden. Die kleine Sauna auf dem Balkon haben wir nicht benutzt, da wir jeden Abend einfach nur zu müde waren 😇. Tolle gemeinschaftliche Terrasse mit Lounge Möbel (ebenfalls mit der Aussicht): herrlich für einen Glas Wein am Abend. Kleine gemeinschaftliche Küche mit kostenlosen Espresso/ Kaffee und frischen Kuchen/Obst, hat uns jeden Morgen „gerettet“ vielen Dank dafür. Bessere Anreise-Anweisung wäre sehr hilfreich: wir kamen mit unserem eigenen Auto, da wir auf der Durchreise nach Neapel waren. Man konnte den richtigen Weg kaum ohne Hilfe den einheimischen finden, weil ZTL- Zone ist.

Coffee bar and left luggage areas both v useful. No reception for parts of the day and although you can call someone, we didn't bother for simple things like a missing glass. Room was small for a triple and basic. Towels were very rough.

We didn’t have water for a period of time on our last morning but there was no communication/mention of it although perhaps the person at the desk wasn’t clear we were checking out.

The towels could be updated as look a little tired and let the level of decor down a wee bit. A suggestion would be to provide either a robe or extra towels for after the sauna. Otherwise, no other issues.
