Guest Reviews
- William (10/5): - Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again for our next Oktoberfest trip.
Short 10 min walk to the festival or city center. And 5 minutes to the main train station.
- Marianne (10/5): - Easily walkable to many tourist destinations. Has working elevator. Nearby shops
- Linda (10/5): - Clean room
- Sergey (4/5): - Terrible area
- Paul (8/5): Opposite a brewery! - Near station, down a very busy & noisy street. However, the double glazing keeps the noise out and the aircon keeps the room cool. Recently decorated room with good bathroom and shower. Could do with a shelf above the basin and some hooks for towels.
Functional, decent value and opposite a brewery!
- William (8/5): - Summary: An okay hotel in Munich's red light district, Astor offers what you need, with a few execution details.
Pros: Secure room and property. Safe. Friendly staff. Clean sheets and towels. Bathroom was clean overall.
Cons: Floor was cracked and slightly dirty. Bathroom had one out of three lights working. Shower is open-style, without curtain, and water sprays onto bathroom floor. Shower drain would not drain efficiently, backing up during short showers. HVAC controls were awkward, requiring an unlocking procedure to enable adjustment. Pillows were a little lumpy.
- Amila (10/5): - D
- Verified traveler (4/5): I do not recommend. - We were treated by friendly staff, but were very surprised that the every member of the family had to provide a copy of the passports as part of the check in process. Room was on 5th floor, elevator went to the 4th. The room had sewer gas’s smell, which turned out to be a know issue in the building. The hotel was in a noisy location, but we arrived late and needed to put our heads down, because of struggling with jet lag. I would not recommend.
- Janusz (6/5): - Maybe that was my late arrival, dont know. Somehow the room was also smaller than i believed it will be
- Jackson (10/5): - Very good
- Gary (8/5): - Nice location for resturants. The nearest S-Bahn and U-Bahn station was about a 12 minute walk away so we ended up just walkinf to most places.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The beds were uncomfortable & the rooms were a little hot even with the aircon.
Noisy neighborhood
Staff was great though & for the price we paid it was ok.
- Andrew (8/5): - Staff were excellent-Very friendly and very helpful. Hotel was very tidy and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also very good. But - Noisy street. Police sirens often. Wife felt unsafe
- Moira (8/5): - The hotel completely suited our needs, the room was great, quiet and clean. Very centrally located with easy access to all areas.
The staff were fantastic and very helpful and informative.
- DUC (2/5): - Dirty toilet
Pillow did not have a pillow case
Staff were not very helpful.
- Kristin (8/5): - Very nice staff, good location for train.
- Rhett (8/5): Close to everything, had everything we needed. - Pretty good stay. I would recommend because of the close proximity to everything. Our only issue was the shower. No real shower door or curtain so water went everywhere.
- kevinmA7624DF (2/5): Noise noise noise - Asked for a quiet room and received a room on 2nd floor opposite the strip club with its flashing lights and constant noise of men in and out. One night there was a running battle in the street. Music played in reception early hours. Staff very nice but it’s awful. Good bed and clean are the plus points. Ridiculous price but euros were on so inflated.
- G6686NPtamarar (2/5): Worst hotel ever - Worst service hotel I’ve ever been.
Room in first floor faces the street and unable to open the window as someone could easily get in the room.
Hotel located in a very bad zone as it’s surrounded by a slot machines shop and many people making noises. Unable to sleep the whole night. If you don’t put the tag: please clean/make the room no service done. Front desk staff not friendly. Worst vacation ever!!!
- AnosuaM (8/5): Ideal location - Astor is located just a few blocks from the main Railway station at Munich. We stayed at a family room which was well appointed and had all basic amenities. The U and the S bahn station ( Hoftbahnoff) is just five minutes away. While the location is the USP at the same time it also deducts a point for me...as most of the tabledance and cabrets are located on the same street. But must admit that if one is not a late night traveller this will not bother you.. happy to stay at the Astor
- ottocalabria (6/5): Could be better, could also be a lot worse. - Basic but fine for the trip. Located in an area which isn't very appealing to the eye but this hotel was basic and served it's purpose at a reasonable cost. I wouldn't stay here with family but ok for single travellers or couples. Located near to Hauptbahnof and around 15 minute walk to the centre.
- Thorbjörn (2/5): - Inget varmvatten det första dygnet. Trasig hiss till och från. Inkompetent personal i receptionen.
- Timothy (8/5): - Stay was ok not great. Not far from old town Munich but also kind of out of the way from most bars and restaurants worth visiting
- Catherine (10/5): - Excellent room, very comfortable bed and great staff. Breakfast was fantastic with the bestvevery guy running the breakfast area.
- Tiffany (6/5): - wifi was spotty, no coffee in the room, very noisy and unsafe neighborhood. breakfast was descent. limited english channels.
- Erhan (6/5): Almsot perfect except wifi - Location of the Hotel Astor was very appropriate for me. Hotel and the room was comfortable enough. Staff was helpful. Room was large enough. The street was always busy till midnight but I did not feel miserable. The only thing that bothered me was the wifi. Since I used to work in the room, it is mandatory for me to have strong wifi. Even if ı did not have any problem with the phone, I couldn't use my computer in the room and I was directed to the breakfast floor to work with my computer. All the rest was good enough.
- Fraser (10/5): - Nice staff and rooms, and they let you take the bikes for free. Close to the train station
- Scott (8/5): - Great location, though the neighborhood is on the rough side. Odd shower enclosure, though that's Europe for you! Otherwise a really pleasant stay!
- Carol (10/5): - Perfect location for exploring the city. Great breakfasts, lovely bar, rooms great
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great hotel. Very clean. Good customer service skills.
- FelipeBoulton (6/5): Good Room, but bad Air-Con and Bathroom Issues - This hotel is about a 10 mins walk to Munich Central Station. There is a major supermarket chain, just 2 mins walk from the hotel, which is very confident. My room was located on level 5, overlooking the main street. On first glance, the room appeared to have all normal facilities. Firstly, the air-conditioning control panel was very difficult to use and I had to ask a cleaner to adjust the setting. Unfortunately, the room never went cold and was permanently set at 25 C which is was too hot in summer. As a consequence had to open the windows and there was significant street noise. The bathroom looked good, but there was no shower curtain, and glass panel was not sufficient to stop water flooding the bathroom, many towels were used to mop the floor. Location: While the hotel is close to central station it is about 2 kms from the main tourist areas, but there is a famous church nearby (see photo). Finally a positive note to finish this review: This room was very large, with twin beds and sitting area, and certainly not a single room I ordered.
- Sam (8/5): - Basic and affordable
- Robert (8/5): - Hated the beds. Mattress sheet came off every night.
- diane (8/5): - It was of generally a good standard re size and amenities. It had a fridge which was important for us, but on the minus side, there were no English news channels and the room could be noisy with quite a lot of light coming through. Our biggest gripe was the shower - it had no door so a shower meant that the bathroom including toilet and toilet paper got wet. That was the shower design.
Otherwise, room and bedding were great and the provision of a cold water machine in reception was very helpful (no kettle or cups though).
Nothing wrong with the hotel at all and would recommend.
- George (8/5): - Did not like no lifts after 5 floors. I was in 6th floor.
- Francis (10/5): - Excellent very helpful staff
- ALEX (10/5): - Better than I expected. Room looms newly renovated. My biggest issue is the shower design in my room, it floods the entire bathroom when you don’t put a towel on the floor. Location is not the most glamorous but I never felt unsafe. Close to transport links.
- Danny (10/5): - Great place. Amazing in all aspects, but in a busy part of town. Room was clean, big, comfy. Amazing hotel to stay in in Munich. Walking distance to everything.
- Madison (8/5): - Nice comfortable room conveniently located near the main train station and within walking distance to the old town. The man that checked us in was very friendly.
- Mimibear81 (6/5): Good location, very basic, terrible AC. - Booked a family room on the 6th (top) floor. My main gripe is the AC. No matter what we did it stayed at 27C (80F) even after asking the front desk to adjust it. Temperature was set lower but the AC just couldn’t get it done. Thankfully it cooled down enough in the evenings so we could sleep. Bathroom was tiny, especially the shower, and you have to bring your own toiletries. TV remote did not work at all. We did not try breakfast, recommend Coffee Fellows down the street which has great coffee and sandwiches/pastries. Some reviews mentioned the area is rough but we never felt unsafe. There are lots of nearby markets and restaurants. Bab Al Yemen is a great middle easter restaurant nearby. Very close to hauptbanhof station, about 10-15 min walk to Marienplatz.
- Lea (8/5): - The staff at the reception is very helpful. The room though very basic is clean especially the toilet & shower.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - three friends in separate single rooms. rooms on top floor with ensuite-very clean and well decorated and adequate size and comfortable. En-suite good. Hotel well decorated. Free Coffee machine in foyer. Staff very friendly. Convenient location. Excellent value for money
- Nigel (8/5): - Great location for the city and train station
- Rick (10/5): - Great location. Courteous staff.
- RONALD (10/5): - Great location. Front desk staff was helpful. Breakfast was good!
- Andres (2/5): - This has be the worst hotel that you have recommended,
I left one day earlier because it was so Bad.
I don’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel is overall ok. Close to the main station. Breakfast was decent. However the guy at the reception was very rude.
- Yaozhu (4/5): - My room was on the top floor which needed to take elevator and then stairs. Thin wall, 1am I can still hear people chatting loudly from other room. The worst thing is that the room had consistent vibration noises from some sort of machine or circulation (I didnt turn on the ac). The small was small, which was fine cuz I paid single room. But it probably shouldn’t be a room at all with such weird setting and consistent noise
- Jaroslav (10/5): Nice hotel - Our stay was amazing. Cleanliness 100%, friendly staff, all at walking distance.
- Steven (8/5): - Convenient location to the train station and trolleys to City Center. Property had been updated, and matched pricing paid for our stay. Could use a little more attention to details, but would stay there again.
- Gregory (10/5): - Large room and great breakfast if needed. Friendly staff 24/7. Good area for quick bite and walk to sites. We would definitely stay here again.
- James (10/5): - Excellent service, offer incentive to be environmentally friendly
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location. Clean, comfortable hotel. Front side rooms can be kind of noisy.
- Sadie (10/5): - Very nice front desk staff and so welcoming allowing us to even check in early! Close walk to Oktoberfest and quiet rooms at night.
- Ernesto (10/5): - Really nice place to stay! The water go out from the shower to the bathroom.
- Lilian (10/5): - Housekeeping every day! Clean room! Welcoming staff, very informative, super close to the main station just down the street! Lots of restaurants all around. Quiet.
- Tommy (8/5): - I wouldn't call it an Arthotel. The decor is dated but not unpleasant. The staff was very responsive to my needs. The breakfast service was quite good. It is near the Haupbanhof so it's crowded and dirty outside. I'd probably look at other properties before booking it again, but I wouldn't automatically rule it out.
- tim (10/5): My 50th birthday stay in Germany - Had a great stay, receptionist very helpful. Room was very nice. The only thing I was disappointed with was the pillow, it was very soft and low. Apart from that it was brilliant
- Daniel (10/5): Excellent stay walkable to Munich station - Excellent stay in a recently refurbished room. Very welcoming staff member. Coffee is paid for in the reception area but this wasn’t a problem for us as we got breakfast, which was great.
- Kristie (8/5): - Front desk staff were awesome.
- Hannah (6/5): - The hotel was clean and the staff professional and friendly and helpful. I was troubled by the noise on the street which went late into the night and then construction started early. It was too hot to have the windows closed and too noisy to have them open, which would be a better situation in winter if you could close the windows. I did OK with earplugs.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Horrible hotel not worth a 4-star. - Even though I paid for a twin-bed room, the receptionist decided that single bed room would be Ok for me. After complaining, they gave me a twin-bed room. The breakfast that was promised in the advertisement that I paid for failed to appear in my final confirmation! That is why I did not have breakfast. The shower that I was trying to take in the morning had a problem with the draining in the shower cabin, and the water was filled up so quickly, and it was running out to the room. I could not have the opportunity to have a normal shower. I complained again and it was useless. This is a horrible hotel not worth a 4-star. This hotel is a dump!
- William (10/5): Great stay for the price! - Very clean room that met my needs. Within walking distance to the train station.
- Donald (8/5): - Broken deadbolt lock on door. Shower was very small and did not contain water well. On the plus side, good location.
- joshbetts94 (6/5): Basic but fine - Stayed here for 3 nights over New Year’s Eve. Room was basic, but had the essentials. Found a few hairs in the bed and shower. The men on reception were friendly enough and helpful. Only down fall is the area, full of very unsavoury people hanging around on street corners. Makes you feel uncomfortable, especially if you’re a female. Marienplatz was only a 15 minute walk away and have many lovely bakeries (Rishchart).
- ShanaHicks (6/5): Basic and no frills - The hotel is basic and no frills. Mostly clean but some areas of the room need a thorough clean. Our bathroom had hairs up the wall (long as well as short and curly) which wasn’t pleasant. But overall okay.
Be warned house keeping will walk into your room. During our stay house keeping walked into our room 4 times whilst we were still asleep. The first time was at 07:55. There were no ‘do not disturb’ signs which we could use so we just had to put up with it. This could be resolved simply with a ‘do not disturb’ sign for each room.
Overall okay, cheap and cheerful. Didn’t eat breakfast there during our stay but would recommend eating in Munich’s many cafes.
- Han nee (2/5): itable for families - s were dirty and wine opener still has the wine cork left by previous occupant. location is convenient but not appropriate for families. there were many erotic dancing bars around. unsavoury characters all around
- Kejal (6/5): Be vary when booking here - I booked this because it said 4-star on the listing and is close to the station but wouldn’t stay again. To get to this hotel, have to walk through about 150m of ‘red-light’ area. The entrance is a bit dingy. The room and bathroom were clean and renovated which was a relief. Room service is provided by Italian restaurant attached to hotel and food is okay. Booked double room but only had a chair in it even though pictures showed a small table and 2 chairs.
- michaelp948 (2/5): Not as advertised - The street is packed with unsavory looking people, the hotel is a dump. The room is gross, small and not clean. One exposed neon tube light for bathroom lighting... We walked in and checked out immediately. Disgraceful
- Gabrielle (4/5): Dirty old Town - We didn't like the area where the hotel was the smell when we got out of our car was awful, the town was filty dirty in the end we ate in burger King and went back to our hotel and was glad to be leaving the next morning, sorry Múnich
- Guest (4/5): - The wifi in this hotel is poor, washroom is slippery and the pole supporting the shower head fell off when I tried to adjust it! The room is less spacious than it looks like in the picture. Doesn’t worth the price.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The staff was not amiable . I can’t remember the name but tge fellow was from Afghanistan , he was very goid. The restaurant was good
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The family room was large enough to happily accommodate 4 of us. It was very clean as well. The area around the train station is not salubrious but there are many hotels on the street. The only decent restaurant nearby is the very good Schiller Beer house across the road - highly recommend.
- PalmelaLopo (8/5): Nice hotel with easy access to many facilities - Schillerstraße is not a beautiful street - despite having a dozen hotels in the street, it has several cabarets and some of the people standing at the beginning of the street look rather strange. But as you walk along the street . getting further from Hauptbanhof, the atmosphere changes and you will find that Munich is also a melting pot of cultures.
Astor Hotel is a very nice hotel, clean and comfortable, less than 10 minutes walk to Central Station U-bahn / S- bahn and trains, and a walking distance to Karlstadt and Marien Squares. Nearby, there are many shops and supermarkets.
The rooms are spacious and provide the comfort of a 4-star hotel and if you need to work you have good conditions.. Breakfast is very good. Staff is very attentive. I found the relationship cost/quality very good.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The facility is centrally located but not in the best area of the city. The facility looks old.
- Brian (6/5): Family vacation - Service great. Room great. Cleanliness and beds great. 2 balconies.
Not a family neighborhood, several strip clubs on street. And the area. Can be loud.
No A/C.
No on site parking.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the rooms are quite comfortable and clean. The Astor is located near to Banhopfl 7 which is a few minutes walk away to meet any day tours that are booked which is the reason we chose this hotel. The hotel staff must use a code to turn on the air conditioning which means you can’t adjust the temperature. Someone changed our setting from 25 degrees to 19.6 degrees and we absolutely froze. The real negative for this hotel is that the neighbourhood is quite grubby and noisy with a lot of strip clubs and dance bars across the road all up and down the street. We were kept awake by ambulance and police sirens quite a lot. The hotel itself is okay but I would not stay here again due to the neighbourhood.
- MFMetzger (8/5): Interesting location! - We chose the Astor because it was close to the train station and the old city center. The hotel itself is pretty standard. The staff was amazingly helpful. Breakfast was average and they kept it replenished. The only downside is you can’t just get coffee. They have a self service machine where you can get hot water, hot milk, cappuccino, and a few other things, but not black coffee. But one can live just fine on cappuccino alone. The hotel does have a restaurant attached that serves dinner. We didn’t eat here, but it did smell amazing.
The Hotel is located in a neighborhood with a large immigrant population. So if you love middle eastern food, and I do, you will be in heaven! The pastry shops are enough to put you into a diabetic coma just for looking at them. Towers of baklava and mamool make a sight that can’t be passed up. And if you are looking for a quick bite on the run, there is no shortage of places to get good shawarma. Only a five minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof with an exit directly on to Schillerstraße makes for a convenient way of getting around town and to and from the airport. Getting to the heart of Munich and the pedestrian zone is only a 10 minute walk or a two stop ride on either the U-bahn, S-bahn or tram. Be aware the neighborhood looks a little sketchy with lots of spielhalle but at no time did we feel unsafe.
The room was clean and the room maid did an awesome job making order out of our daily disheveling after a busy day in the city. Even though tipping isn’t customary at the table, make sure you tip the maid!
If I’m back in Munich, I would definitely give the Astor another stay!
- Eesliter (8/5): Clean, comfortable, nice rooms - The hotel itself was very good, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, and it is conveniently located within walking distance of the Hauptbahnhof and MarienPlatz. The staff was always willing to help, really we can't complaint about the service nor the ammenities at all, I'd say that it was worth it and I'd recommend it. There's only one inconvenience, it is located close to many cabarets so at night it may get a little loud, also, people around there smoke a lot. If you're ok with this, then for sure this is a great place.
- Guest (4/5): - Found lood or some stain on my sheets as well as an empty bottle of soap in the shower...
- clairelouisej393 (8/5): Well located, clean and comfortable - The rooms are very spacious. I had one overlooking the street, and although it can be noisy outside at night, the windows block out most of it. The room is very clean and comfortable with lots of nice amenities such as a hairdryer, fridge and Haribo on the pillow on arrival.
Breakfast is absolutely fantastic, so much choice available and all fresh and tasty. Coffee in the lobby isnt bad either.
The hotel is so close to the centre of town, short distance from the station. I stayed for a week and would absolutely stay again.
I found the Wi-Fi to be temperamental, but it's good when it works!
Staff were lovely.
- PntSnt (4/5): Not a four star hotel. - First of all the room was not clean. Very basic for a four star hotel. There was only one pillow. You have to ask for more. No kettle. You have to ask for it. The tv would freeze at random points. There was a sound of running water through the walls at all times. There was no soundproofing from the streets or the other rooms. Checking out took some time even though I was alone. The parking garage was really small really dirty and had an elevator for the car with doors that needed force to open (they get stuck on the ground). There is a code for the garage door (No keys) but reception didn't gave it to me, so I had to leave the car on the middle of the pavement-street, go to the reception and ask them to open the door. Is that 4 star quality? In the breakfast the same lady would ask me every day my room number( in German even though I told her I don't speak german). The room a/c unit and hair dryer were operating but they were disgusting. I think I would get sick if I used them.
On the bright sight: there is parking, the room was big, the bed was ok ( No sheet changed though in one week), the city centre is close. And the breakfast was actually 4 star rating. Not so many options for a 4 star(nothing lactose free very few gluten free) but still plenty to choose and very good quality.
Last but very important. Do not book at that area if you are a couple, single, or have kids. You need a group of at least three to feel a bit safe in that area. I didn't research the area before I book. Don't make the same mistake.
- 58carisas (8/5): Very centrally situated but at night the sounds from the street below can be disturbing - Staff very helpful and accommodating: we requested a kettle and extra pillows for our room, and it was promptly delivered. They also borrowed us umbrellas for the day. Fresh water from a machine is available at all times. The breakfast is a real spread: from freshly squeezed oranges to different types of German sausages plus freshly made crepes with apple sauce. If you cant be bothered by the night time activities on the street below, this is your answer in terms of affordability, quality and accessibility.
- Jared (8/5): Solid Hotel - This place was pretty nice. The room had a weird sloping roof, but it was clean and in a nice convenient area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Prior to booking I read negative reviews about it being in a bad neighborhood but if you are going to Munich or anywhere in Germany you have to understand that prostitution is legal and that means it's not dirty, weird or shady back alley stuff. Its part of their culture so the area was still nice, the hotel is nice and I have no complaints.
- Kristi T. (10/5): Excellent location, price, and value! - This hotel was only 2-3 blocks from the central train station and was really nice for the price. The lobby is clean and stylish, the rooms were updated, clean, and well equipped. The room had a mini refrigerator, iron, sewing kit, soap and lotion, and Haribo gummy bears on my pillow. The front desk was helpful and spoke English well. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!
- Elkiana (8/5): Could be much better - When I arrived I’ve found the bedroom very clean indeed, but in 7 nights they never had changed the linen(bed) but the towels, they changed every single day. I noticed also (after about 3 days) that the floor was not clean as the first day....and in some point, there were “fluffy things” around the bed. And in the bathroom, by mistake ( in the first day) some liquid soap felt on the floor. It stayed there all 7 days. I didn’t have breakfast in but, I used the Bistro sometime. And it was really great....food, atmosphere, friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Near to the central train station, restaurants, and a few grocery stores.
- Verified traveler (8/5): You pay for what you get - Nothing fancy, but it had everything we needed. Very close to Karlsplatz so it was very convenient. You pay for what you get.
- Kathi (8/5): Good stay. Would recommend - Very noisy street. Of course it was New Years. Lounge across the street was very noisy. Not much heat in one room & window was broken in other room. Staff very friendly & breakfast included was a nice surprise. Overall thumbs up.
- Mariya (4/5): Not worth it - The hotel is definitely not 4 star. Run-down, needs a refurbishment. Too expensive for what it is. Stayed in another hotel next door, was cheaper and much better quality with the free breakfast. The bathroom door is broken, cold in the room - I felt the cold wind from the wall and the bed sheet had holes in them. Loud people outside.
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- Maureen (8/5): - Great location... near central station...walkable to Christmas Market.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Central stay - Very central to the main part of Munich.
- Gabriela (8/5): - Great location, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff. The area is noisy but it’s because of the location. Only thing I would change would be the pillows (they were too high).
- Irina (6/5): - Our room was facing street and it was too loud.
- Curd (4/5): - Too much noise and hard to get a good rest. The area is kind of scary especially at night. The only good part is close to the train station.
- Krista (4/5): Less than impressed... - Spent two weeks traveling all over Germany and had lovely hotel experiences. This one however put a damper on our Munich portion.
Front desk staff were less than professional. Often out front of the main entrance smoking cigarettes and seemed annoyed with any requests.
Floor of the lobby near the elevator was sticky and wreaked of beer (not even Oktoberfest yet!).
We were disappointed with the area around the hotel. It was dotted with strip clubs and gambling dens. Perhaps we should have researched the area better. All of these items mentioned were still minor to us and easy to overlook.
Our biggest disappointment came with the parking issue. The first day we parked in a small lot behind the hotel, no big deal. After sightseeing all day the second day we returned to find the lot full and had to park underground. My husband and I (being from the suburbs) found this to be a huge challenge with only minimal instruction from the less than professional front desk staff. We had to use a creaky “lift” that I drove in to while my husband closed the doors and operated all the switches to send me underground. Once underground there was a metal ramp available to park on that made even worse noises than the lift.
I understand parking is often like this in a larger city. Might I suggest to the hotel that a staff member offer to do this for those uncomfortable with doing it themselves?
Needless to say, we checked out two days early.
- Shawn (10/5): - Hotel great no one in Germany likes air conditioning
- Dianne (8/5): Gd Place to stay, a couple of things to consider - The location was good but had difficulty initially finding the property due to poor signage and very small street frontage. It's also important to understand that there is no air-conditioning so be mindful when travelling in the warmer months. Happy with the room. Good bed. Supermarkets nearby. Close to Hauptbahnhof & City Centre
