Guest Reviews
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgi (8/5): Very good -
- Barbara (7/5): Good - Good value for money in a great location Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was one of the beds had bed bugs and a family member got bitten profusely. Staff were sorry but no compensation was made. Not sure if there should have been or not, as have never experienced bed bugs before!
- Elliot (8/5): Very good -
- Taís (5/5): Very simple facilites but useful and the location is amazing. - The location is amazing. Close to many restaurants. When I arrived my room didn’t have water. I didn’t have any kind of refund yet due this issue. Me and boyfriend had to use a common bathroom - which was a mess - but I paid for private room.
On the second day the problem was solved but like I said I still wait for any kind of compensation.
- Monika (5/5): Passable -
- Schalk (2/5): BAD STAY - Location It is not suitable fo
r 5 people. Kitchenette dies not have basin or tap. There is a kettle but not a plug. Kettle to stand on beside table. The room is not suitable for 5 people nor was it serviced daily. Fridge does not work. Windows cannot open for more than 3cm. It was pointed out to reception who did about fridge.
- Sara (8/5): Very good -
- Natalie (7/5): Good - Good location.
It fit our family.
Ok price point for what was on offer...we were out exploring everyday so it was only used to sleep and shower. It was very hot when we were there with only one tiny fan on top of the table to try and cool the room
No cutlery/cups/plates. Only 1 paper cup each for coffee/tea.
We had to keep asking for paper cup replacements to make our morning/nightly tea.
Towels were not always changed/rubbish not taken out/beds made when we had the service room sign on the door.
Very small bathroom but would be typical for the age of the property I think.
- Jeannette (5/5): Passable - The location The room was hot. The window was very small. The space was very minimal. The front desk person was not available when we needed them. Usually around 8 to 830 am.
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sara (6/5): Good stay. Would stay again simply for the location - Location. Maybe could do with a good deep clean. Damp smell, mattress could do with updating. We had 3 nights and was out between 9am-10pm so if you are just looking for good location and a roof over your head!
- Mccall (7/5): Good -
- Kate (8/5): Very good - Location
Cheap underground room proved to be a blessing in a heatwave. You get what you pay for.
- Ewa (4/5): I do not recommend stay in this hotel overall. - The room was dirty, dirty sheets and bathroom, no toiletries at all. Bad smell from the drain and blocked drainage. Sower so small that you cannot turn. It is a good location.
- Graham (4/5): Disappointing - Location was great Not really a hotel, more of a hostel or b&b. No real facilities available.
Shared bathroom up two lights of stairs and room was adjacent to reception so very noisy.
Cleanliness in general is poor.
- Wayne (4/5): Disappointing - Location, clean beding .good for one night maybe two . Bathroom size of a cupboard ' no hot water in shower or sink which was to small for the purpose bed uncomfortable over all room far to small for a double
- Alicia (9/5): Superb -
- Oliver (4/5): Disappointing - Near to Victoria station Laundry bags blocking the corridor. Broken kettle.
- Joergfried (7/5): Good -
- Martin (7/5): Good - Great location, good price and clean. Shower took ages to heat up. Had to wait 45mins for reception to open on leaving day, note on the door said 'Back in 10 mins'???
- Nicola (10/5): Amazing location, 5 mins walk from Victoria, lovely staff, unbeatable price - We received a family room instead of the double room we booked so we had loads of space and extra facilities, ie fridge and microwave. The room and bathroom were very clean and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. For the price the location is exceptional, like walking out onto a film set. I think anyone who complains about the hotel is totally unaware of the prices of staying in London. If you're on a budget this is a brilliant hotel, if you want a more luxury hotel then you need to consider adding another £1000 to your budget. More of an inconvenience than a complaint is the lack of a lift. We stayed in the middle of a 33 degree heatwave so it probably felt worse than it actually was. It is something to consider however, if you have any mobility issues.
- Vivien (10/5): Exceptional - Room was cute and clean.
Area is great, easy transport to Victoria station.
Easy check in/out.
- Vanessa (1/5): The location was perfect but the rooms were not what I was expecting at all , - The room was far too cramped , the bathroom was dirty and tiny , shoved into corner of the room you couldn’t even brush your teeth or use the toilet without opening the shower door , and the smell from the bathroom was disgusting ,
- Kevin (7/5): Good - Location Stairs
- Maria (5/5): Passable -
- John (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gemma (10/5): Perfect for budget London solo travel - Perfect location, great for budget solo traveller, staff very helpful and friendly, bed very comfortable. I'd didn't affect me but if you are not great with stairs there is no lift. Rooms are very close together so everytime someone went out their room you could hear so if you are a light sleeper this might affect you (which I'm not so wasn't a personal issue just a bit of a pre warn)
- Gerard (10/5): Beautiful area, you will not regret staying here!!! Tight space but perfect for a few nights stay -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Ryan (2/5): Stayed once. That’s enough. Not again. Pics don’t show detail. - Location great. Extremely tired room. Paint work all scuffed and chipped and bathroom door swollen because of water ingress. Shower door doesn’t shut. Mouldy silicone. Just screw holes on bathroom walls with shelves missing. Horrible old stained carpets throughout the building.
- Nicole (7/5): Good -
- Artūrs (8/5): Nice, budget friendly, safe neighborhood - Very nice location, quiet and clean streets, close to Victoria station Not a large selection of cafes and bars in near neighborhood
- Jared (8/5): Very good -
- Ana (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (7/5): Good - Location was ideal
- Nick (2/5): Would not recommend to anyone. - Nothing to like No chair or even small table in room. No hanging space. No hanging space. Floor dirty, bathroom shower was terrible with black mould.
- Lewis (7/5): Enjoyed my stay, quiet, and great location! - Great location and VERY QUIET. Could have been a bit cleaner. Lots of dust bunnies under the beds.
- Lister (7/5): Location was fantastic a few walking minutes from victoria train and coach stations - The location was excellent 👌 The beds were very old and dated as was the room but it was clean
- Chun (8/5): Very good -
- Mohd (6/5): Pleasant - nearby Victoria station the stairs and the bed
- Bryan (6/5): OK for a short stay if you intend being out most of the time. - The staff were pleasant and helpful. Location was good, only a short walk to Victoria station. Good fridge. Lots of teabags and milk sachets. No hand towel. No utensils of any kind in the ‘kitchenette’. Paper cups not much good for tea. Minimal toiletries and no soap. You shouldn’t have to ask! A bit grubby and tired. Be prepared for walking up fairly steep, narrow stairs with your suitcases
- Bruno (3/5): Liars - The room was ok in the bassement of the hotel. It was close to Victoria Station, perfect. The ad said wifi was available. But it was impossible to be connected and the staff lied telling there was a problem with the network.
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Abdul (5/5): Passable - Location Uncomfortable room, bed hurts, too many stairs, no lift, dirty rooms
- Becky (9/5): Superb -
- Brizhandsome (3/5): Too small, terrible wifi, cleaning and linen changing. not recommended at all. - I liked that it was a short walk to Victoria Station. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot. It was actually quite quiet when I was there, and I would count that as a positive. OH my.... Let's see. 1. The wifi. It was so in and out that you couldn't count on making it through a one-minute video. Only on the last day of 4 did they come to the room, finally get me on the server closest to my room (they couldn't get it to link up previously). 2. The size of the room. OMG, if you are slightly overweight, or just big in stature... You will not make it into the bathroom. Nor will you make it into the shower. I am not big, and I had a lot of trouble bending to wash my feet. 3. Cleaning. They will take out the garbage and make your bed like a 5-year-old would. Sling the covers over the bed. The fresh towels will also be hastily folded, making you think they might be the same ones you had left on the floor, just folded up. Sweeping, nope. Crumbs from the night before will be all over your feet. I wish I had my broom, I would have happily used it. Lastly, I asked for a linen change after 3 days and was told, "We only do that after 5 days!" or else it is 5 pounds. The cheap %#^$@#! I paid full price for 4 nights. What do they do if someone stays for only one night? Leave the sheets until they reach 5 nights. Infuriating
- Emily (5/5): Passable -
- Deborah (9/5): Great location , staff were very pleasant, room was great - Location Wee lick of paint
- Attila (2/5): Save yourself the trouble, skip this place - The only positive thing i can mention is the location Dirty, smelly, paper thin walls. In dire need of maintenance.
- Vincenza (7/5): Good -
- Jakub (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rick (9/5): Superb - Location All ok
- Jones (6/5): Pleasant - Great location. Value for money Although clean the rooms are very basic and needs updating. God knows when it was last painted.
- Dominik (2/5): Great location, but let down by the cleanliness and state of the property. - Great location. The room was absolutely filthy. There were bugs in the bathroom. The pillows and bedding smelled, and they were yellow with numerous stains; surely those could be replaced every few months?! The tiles were stuck to the walls with expanding foam and an excessive amount of silicone.
Exposed electrical wires , electrical cabinet not secured.
Absolutely awful place.
- Szilvia (4/5): Disappointing and uncomfortable. - It is relatively close to the center. The room is very tiny, the bed is uncomfortable, the staircase is narrow and uncomfortable.
- Lina (5/5): Passable - Price and location Rooms are miniature, toilet sink was not clean, only two towels.
Bed was double, however old, wooden and short. Very unconfy mattrass and flat pillows. It was noisy too from other guests.
- Bridie (6/5): No lift small room great value clean rooms tea & coffee - Close to Victoria station No lift
- Penelope (8/5): Very good -
- Stacey (5/5): Cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for and it served us great for a fun two nights on the town - Perfect for a group of friends, only a ten minute walk from Victoria and close to other attractions. The beds were comfy and the room although basic had everything we needed. The beds and bathroom in the room were clean but but some areas were neglected such as windows that were broken (very old frames with rickety wood), high areas had lots of dust, the shower head was held on by a ribbon etc.
- Martin (7/5): we got 4-bed room in the basement but we were satisfied as it was clean and comfortable (except the bathroom which was r -
- Ian (9/5): Great stay, amazing staff and overall fantastic. - Overall amazing value for the price. Big room. Private bathroom which is rare for the price in London. Overall great experience. Downside was the WiFi was not very strong at all in the room. Even with full bars it was very slow.
- Ophelia (3/5): Rather unpleasant - Extremely close to the coach station and also very close to the tube. Didn't get the room requested, expected a double bed and a single bed but was given a bunk bed and single bed.
The bunk bed was very flimsy and therefore very loud, also being able to see the upper mattress from the bottom bunk was concerning as it was yellow.
No bathmats or hand towels provided.
Bathroom and shower were so small, no where to put stuff down or dry yourself.
Kettle provided but sink so small we couldn't fill it.
No floor space in room that if one person had their suitcase open, you couldn't move in the room.
Under the bed was dirty. Net curtain was not white. Windowsill looked filthy. Mould on bathroom ceiling and rust on the towel holder.
- Anonymous (6/5): Clean, comfortable bed, helpful front desk staff (Royce) & very convenient . - Very convenient getting around the city.clean & the front desk Royce is very helpful & knowledgeable with our needs around the city. Climbing upstairs 😊
- Lynn (7/5): Good -
- Bowyer (7/5): Good - Fantastic location and great value for what was paid. Perfect for if you don't want to spend a lot of time in the room, but need an ok place to sleep Room was tired, and plumbing in bathroom not great.
- Paul (5/5): Passable - The location is good, like many have already mentioned. The price was better than any of the other high priced options we looked at, but that came with a downside. We were happy there were no bedbugs, though we came prepared for that. We knew there was no lift, only stairs. That was ok, but tiresome to always have to be climbing up and down. The room was absolutely tiny. My wife and daughter were with me and our sleeping options were a single bed and two ("Child's" single bunk beds. I was not expecting that. The bathroom would not work for a large person.
- Carole (6/5): OK for a budget stay but no frills. - Comfortable bed and good location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was pretty basic and the en suite was extremely small and cramped. The hot water takes more than 10 minutes to come through! Generally needs a complete refurbishment but I guess that this is a budget hotel.
- Luděk (3/5): Poor - Location great. Staff very helpful and nice. Rooms not very well cleaned, no wardrobe to put clothes in. No cups, plates, cutlery, or table to eat at. Mouldy bathroom. Other room had only roof windows and we had to ask everytime we wanted to open them. Need to pay to store luggage after check out.
- Damien (8/5): Very good - Central location, clean room Narrow staircase, steep steps hard to carry large luggage
- R (6/5): Pleasant - The location was good, near Victoria Coach Station. Short walk (approximately 0.2 miles) to Victoria Station and nearest pickup for Big Bus hop on / hop off bus stop. Restaurants and pubs close to hotel as well. The room was very small, even by European standards. They did not provide bath mats, wash clothes, or hand towels unless you paid extra for them. Room not serviced daily without paying additional fee. Hallways were cluttered with housekeeping supplies, making it near impossible to access the room door. The bathroom was extremely small. If there was wifi, we were not provided the information
- Lisa (5/5): Very Small/no frills but more money to spend on there stuff and close to all their transit system - Ok, so this was our first time in GB. I had no idea where to book and I talked with someone who lived here for a year. He said get close to Tube and that's all you need. So I went cheap for location. This was cheap at under 300.00 for 3 nights where my friends paid 1480.00 for 4 nights at another location and she complained about hers. The main problem was the toilet wouldn't flush, took a very long time dealing with get #2 or any toilet paper down. Couldn't get hot water and needed to run over to the office. They helped me immediately. The water pressure was severely lacking. The TUBE was awesome and it helped us see the sites instead of staying in the room. The location was GREAT, Beautiful and again close to everything. 150 feet from the Bus Station and a 3 minute walk to the TUBE and Train. NO ELEVATOR, We got off a 15 day cruise and lugged our stuff up. No much room to put you luggage or resort them. Have to use you bed which takes up the room. We had our own bathroom, the shared bathroom was a lot bigger and we considered using that. So it depends on what you want to spend your money on while you're here. Bathroom and Water pressure.
- Cheryl (5/5): Good location but very squishy - Receptionist was helpful & friendly
Beds were comfy
Close to train station We requested downstairs due to having large luggage but we were out on second floor with 4 flights of stairs and no lift .
Room was extremely small .. Knees touched door when sat on toilet .
No space to move around or open luggage properly
- Chun (8/5): Very good -
- Jorge (1/5): Did not stay lost my money - Nothing Accessibility to the room
- Jonathan (5/5): Budget hotel ok for one night. - The double bed was comfortable.
Fan. The pull out bed was flimsy and the bunk beds were slightly flimsy.
The bathroom was too small. Couldn't dry in there. Couldn't bend into sink without hitting head on cabinet.
No hand towels or bath mat!
Extra pillows would have been nice.
- Edgar (7/5): Good -
- Ettore (5/5): Passable - The room was dirty and the service room didn’t include changing the bed sheets or cleaning the floor
- Robert (7/5): Good -
- Stewart (7/5): Good value for what we paid and amazing location.. Room and bathroom was just sbout ok - Location was amazing Too many beds in our room. Was pretty cramped and the bathroom was tiny. Just not enough room. Shower was terrible.
- Joanna (10/5): Perfect stay budget hotel - Location was excellent, great value for money and the reception staff were all very helpful. I will definitely stay here again . I liked everything
- Darren (6/5): All about location, new carpets and flooring required. Private showers need to work! - Location was everything Shower didn’t work
- Jamess (8/5): Very good -
- Nina (10/5): Clean/change window - Plassering Vinduet
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Les (7/5): Good value if you're just needing a bathroom and bed to sleep in. - Just need some more storage solutions in the room really. Two hangers was ok for me but my wife would struggle.
And a remote control for the TV please!
- Lana (7/5): Good - The location is excellent. The room was quite small, but considering the price, that’s to be expected. At least it was clean, which is the most important thing. Overall, a decent stay for the budget-conscious traveler.
- Jun (3/5): poor cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel was unacceptable for us and any of their future customers. I am looking fo - The location is good. The attitude of staff is ok. During our stay, my family and I discovered a bed bug infestation in our room. This caused an allergic reaction and blistering, disrupting our sleep and in travel plans. We contacted the management through multiple emails but got no reply or any sort of compensation. The staff on site did their best to help us however the management needs to step up. I am requesting a full refund for my very unpleasant experience at Belgravia Hotel.
- James (5/5): Great location looks good from outside but needs updating inside - Location, able to use luggage room on early arrival Narrow staircase to rooms , high step into shower room, no hot water- fobbed off by reception staff to run tap longer which I already had tried, cracked sink in shower room , multi plug adapter in power outlets
- Mukoko (9/5): Superb -
- Shatishraj (8/5): Affordable stay near London Victoria - Value for money Bathroom was a little cramped
- Katrina (6/5): Pleasant - Location was good Rooms too small
- Alfie (1/5): Bbb - The tookm hadntly been cleaned it's was tinnest room under a star well also tlzero care for the tidiest Bbb
- Chen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nikolaos (8/5): Very good -
- Sean (3/5): Hygiene issues with bed - Staff were friendly. I had to be asked to move room as after 20 minutes of lying in the bed I was so itchy. Pulled the sheet away to be greeted with the most disgusting mattress I've ever seen. Photos attached. When I asked to be moved i was asked if I would be ok to sleep on it that night and they would fix it the following day. Laughable. In the end they moved me to a family room which overall was much better.
- Laurs (8/5): Perfect location, clean but just a very small bathroom/shower - It’s location was brilliant, clean, perhaps could do with updating decoration/ painting The bathroom was very small, the shower was tiny, the sink was in the way opening the shower door but it was clean
- Marcin (3/5): Smelly dusty place!!! Not cleaned properly! - Location, private bathroom Smells, it's a dirty place. Rooms and communal areas are not cleaned properly. Huge accumulation of dust and dirt on walls, lamps literally everywhere. Black mold in the bathroom. Shower with low pressure causing cold water. It was a challenge to get a warm shower at certain times of the day (especially late at night, in the mornings shower seem to work fine). The water was super cold when experiencing pressure issues.. The size of the room is super tiny the same as the shower and bathroom in general. Other rooms with shared bathrooms were often busy and people were waiting. For a quick one night Okey but longer stay would be challenging. Great location though!!!
- Ken (7/5): We enjoyed our stay. - The location was great. Easy walk to Buckingham Palace and close to Victoria station. The room could have used a fresh coat of paint.
- Alan (7/5): Good -
