• Charlotte (4/5): Good Location, damp lower level room - The Location was well connected, staff were quick to reply to messages. We stayed in a lower ground room which was damp and had mold in the bathroom. The staff were quick to reply to messages and had some of the mold cleaned. They explained lower level rooms are known to be damp and had sealed the bathroom to reduce mold growth.
• Elmars L. (9/5): I recommend! - Very good, even ideal location. Close to Victoria Station and various eateries, yet quiet area. We had two rooms, both normal size. In one, you needed special skills to use the toilet - due to the narrowness. But that was the only drawback. Beds, linen, shower and heating - very good. I would especially like to note the excellent communication of the hotel staff with us. Interesting, because we did not meet any of them, but we felt that we were welcome and taken care of. Thank you! Problem with luggage storage before check-in and after check-out. Have to use a third party service for a separate fee.

Das Zimmer und vor allem das Bad waren seehr klein! Zwischen Bad und Bett war nur ein Vorhang und keine richtige Tür. Im Schlafbereich gab es kein Fenster (zum Lüften etc.) und die Zimmer waren sehr hellhörig.

Można ją by było wymieniać częściej. Tak samo szczotka do toalety nie była w czystej wodzie. Więc czystość łazienki mogłaby być poprawiona :)

Couldn’t put much in there and the bathroom was so squishy so we decided to stay in another hotel. I didn’t like the property much, but it was very clean. It’s just I had to climb up so much stairs and the room was far too small so we went somewhere else.

• Rike (5/5): Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt okay, aber für den Preis haben wir definitiv mehr erwartet. Das Zimmer an sich war schön, - Wir waren für ein paar Nächte im Deluxe Zimmer (Nr. 7). Das Zimmer war angenehm groß – viel Platz für Koffer, und es gab kleine Schränke zum Verstauen, was sehr praktisch war. Auch die Lage hat uns gut gefallen: Man ist schnell bei Bus und Underground, perfekt für Städtetrips. Es gibt zwar keine klassische Rezeption, aber die Kommunikation über WhatsApp hat super funktioniert. Das Team war schnell erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Leider gab es einige Dinge, die nicht so optimal waren: Im Bad gab es nur einen Vorhang statt einer Tür – das war etwas unpraktisch. Außerdem gab es nur eine große Bettdecke – eine zweite war leider nicht verfügbar, stattdessen bekamen wir nur ein Bettlaken. Die Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen, was uns persönlich gestört hat. Das Hotel war außerdem sehr hellhörig – man hat die Nachbarn und Geräusche von draußen deutlich gehört. Der Föhn im Zimmer hat leider auch nicht funktioniert.

• Ančica (8/5): Ugodan boravak - Dobra pozicija, sve je relativno blizu. Miran kvart, čisto. Ima WiFi, tv, aparat za kavu, mogućnost korištenja pegle. Čiste ručnike dobijete na zahtjev bez naknade. Self check in. Ulaz i soba imaju šifru pa se ne morate brinuti da ćete izgubiti ključ. Ljubazno osoblje na usluzi putem whatsapp-a. Dosta skučeno, krevet je manjih dimenzija. Nedostatak polica/ormara za odjeću i držaća za ručnike. Imate samo jednu šipku sa nekoliko vješalica za odjeću. Dobijete samo dva ručnika po osobi i morate tražiti čiste.

• Mohamed (9/5): Clean, comfortable, perfect and calm location - Equipped with the essentials: coffee and tea, hairdryer, … The location is perfect near to the bus stop and underground, you can get to anywhere in London so easily. Many stores, cafes and snacks around. I liked everything except the room was so small. It’s barely large enough for a queen bed. Overall, we had a good stay.

Es gab keine richtige Tür zum Bad sondern nur eine Ikea PAX Schranktür, die schwer zu schließen war. Die Toilette war bei Ankunft leider nicht sauber.

Bus stops were near, in walking distance and Victoria Station 10' away. The bed matress was good and the room since it was small was quite easy to warm. It could be cleaner (stains in the bed sheets) and a bit more spacious. Not enough space to open your luggage and not enough hangers. Tiny bathroom. Tight schedule in the check in and check out causes incovenience and is rather stressing.

All of the paintwork was dirty and marked. For the price we paid we expected better. Price did not reflect standard of amenities but did reflect the location to an extent.

Par rapport au prix, des coussins étaient sales, pas possible d'ouvrir les stores ou fermer la fenêtre, les murs sont mal entretenus, les photos présentées font que la chambre paraît petite, mais très petite. Dommage. Pas de cendrier à l'extérieur.

• Julia (4/5): - Not impressed! AC was advertised but did not work. After messaging the staff & sending multiple pictures of the thermostat settings (that they asked for) they finally said that all the AC was shut off throughout the building in mid- September. They told us to open a window, which was painted shut. After the first day we had no hot water. Not tepid or lukewarm - freezing. They told us we shared the hot water with the other guests but even at 6am it never warmed up. The “delux king” bed is a US Queen size and the bathroom is 3 feet wide - sit on the toilet and your knees touch the wall in front of you. There’s also no door to the bathroom, just a curtain. The shower curtain is several inches too short so while you take your freezing shower the water floods the bathroom. Definitely would NOT stay here again.
• Shirley MacKenzie (7/5): - Very clean hotel in a great location. Close to train, buses, restaurants, cafes, and gallery. There is no reception desk with people to help check you in or hold your luggage. You can communicate remotely by email, and while this person is friendly and tries to be helpful, you do not have the benefit of speaking to a person who can assist immediately. Sadly, not everyone observed the notice for being quieter in the hallways as this quaint, boutique hotel does not have any additional soundproofing.

• Nick (4/5): - I missed the part in the description where it said no staff. Stairs were very narrow, quite dangerous; we had to empty our suitcases before using the stairs. Bed fine, room smelled musty, cramped,no chair; shower so small that normal movement bumped controls --- turned water off three times but could have scalded ourselves. Fire alarm went off, guests scrambled outside; 20 minutes later, it turned off, no fire department, no sign of staff.

The rooms are each different sizes. We booked two and one was far larger than the other. One room was located next to the front door, which was quite loud. The other room had blinds in the bathroom that didn’t close all of the way.

• Famke (8/5): Een fijn verblijf op een top locatie. - De locatie van het hotel was top! Ook was het fijn dat we meteen konden inchecken en dat ze snel reageerde als je een vraag had. Een van de kamers die wij hadden rook bij binnenkomst een beetje muf. Het was ook jammer dat je niet je koffer kon achter laten.

• Oliver (3/5): Never again. - The location is good. It is close to Victoria station and there are also several bus stations close. The room was very small. There was almost no place to store clothes and other stuff. There was a small chest of drawers that was of very bad quality and wobbly. The bathroom was very narrow. If you sit on the toilet your facing a wall and there is almost no space for your legs. It is impossible that someone else passes and enters e.g. the shower when the toilet is occupied (see picture). There was no glass in the bathroom where we could store our tooth brushes etc. Just a small basket (see picture). The shower curtain was brown on the lower part (see picture). It was too short and the water constantly dripped on the bathroom floor. One big mess after each shower (see picture). It was also very difficult to shower without turning off the shower because you had to shower so close to the wall. The soap dispenser were very unhandy. The shower hose was leaking (see picture). The inner door handle fell off when we wanted to open the door on the penultimate day. Fortunately we managed to put it on (see picture). A bin liner was outside the hose from Wednesday to Monday. It was the only entrance in this street with a bin liner (see picture). We had room number four which is directly beside the main entrance and you hear people slamming the door all the time. After we left we found out my wive forgot her ear phones on the floor. I went back and wanted to enter. The code was already changed so I called the number written on the entrance door. No response. Only later they responded by Whatsapp. Fortunately the friendly cleaning staff finally opened the door and handed me the ear phones,
• Alistair (4/5): Disappointing - Location was fine, enough local facilities to cover everything Very small room, no real storage space. 4 night stay, didn't see any staff at all, no clean towels provided, bin not emptied at any stage, t-bags not replenished so only 4 for the 4 nights, Could request room clean via app however nowhere to move stuff to as requested on the application for room clean. Given it cost over £730 I think towels should have been changed once.
• Kseniia (5/5): Passable - The location is good - 10 minutes on foot to the Victoria train and underground station. The room is extremely small. There is no furniture in the room apart from the bed and a tiny coffee table. There is no space on the floor to put down the luggage - we had to move the bed to one side to be able to open the suitcase. There is no opportunity to sit down apart from the bed, and there is hardly any space for two people to move around. There is no window in the room. The window is only in the bathroom - which is divided from the room by only a sliding door and a curtain (no wall between the bathroom and the room whatsoever). Furthermore, there is no reception desk at the hotel and no opportunity to leave the luggage after the check-in. All in all, not worth the money paid.

• Maddie (9/5): Superb - The room was stylish and clean. The location was great, only 6 minute walk from the victoria coach station and about a 20 minute walk to Buckingham palace. The self check in was very easy and they even allowed us to go in early which was amazing as we had an overnight flight and was very tired. The stairs to the first floor were very narrow so taking suitcases upstairs was a little difficult. Could hear other guests pretty clearly but we weren't too bothered about that.
