Guest Reviews
- Janet (6/5): - X
- Daniel (8/5): - Cheap (ish) for London. It's a converted townhouse so rooms small, but clean and functional. Decor is dated, but when you're out and about all day and you just need somewhere to sleep...perfect. Clean bathroom, comfortable beds.
Be warned there is no Aircon, so the rooms can get stuffy and hot.
- Colm (10/5): - Good size room for London, very helpful staff, decor a little aged but very clean.
- Derfel (6/5): - It was fine for what we needed. If you don't mind lots of steep stairs, the attic room where we were was small but adequate. Rather dated but clean and friendly.
- Phill (6/5): Nicer than expected. Shame about the cold shower - The room was surprisingly roomy and was clean. I was only staying one night after a business meeting and didn't really spend time in the room, so didn't need any amenities.
The one big let down is that there was no hot water, so had to take a cold shower in the morning.
- Paul (10/5): - Have stayed here many times over the years when it was owned by a private family but now it is run by a company. They have discontinued breakfast however it is well run and good value for the money particularly because of the excellent location
- mathew (6/5): Reasonable stay - very helpful and friendly reception guy, room was average but reasonably comfortable although quite expensive for what i got.
- Alison (6/5): - No air-conditioning, there was a fan however still felt stale in the room.
- Sean (10/5): - great location and 24 hour staff on-site.
- gary (6/5): - Great location, quite street staff friendly.
Hotel bit dated and tired fine just to sleep couldn't exactly sit about room
- Naci (2/5): - We didn’t like this hotel at all
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room was too hot! Only tiny fan. A small window opening into a courtyard. Felt suffocating
- Verified traveler (2/5): Never again! - The whole place is basically a staircase just as wide as a small suitcase. The current carpets are probably layer 5 which makes it hard to even walk straight on the soft floor. Add luggage and the narrow stairs... not for old people. Then the rooms... I will not even comment on that. I'm an engineer, so I found a way to keep the upwards sliding window open. No water bottle in the room, not even for sale in the reception. Takes about 20 mins for the toilet to refill 3 times to flush the poo... and that same lack of waterpressure goes for the tiny little shower.
This is the most overpriced hotel I ever came across on my 26 years of travelling all continents. Good luck!
- Shankar (2/5): - Images on line dooesn't reflect the actual rooms. Single bedroom is just a corridor with a single bed, table and ensuite. TV broken. The loud rumble of the underground train kept me up most of the night. Could hear the toilet next door all the time. I wouldn't stay there again.
- Craig (10/5): Exactly what you need for a 1 or two night stay - This 5 Star review is not to state that it is a "5 Star Hotel" but that it hits all the marks that it offers as a 2 Star establishment.
1 Night in Room 4
Comfortable and clean bed with a power outlet nearby and a working wall-mounted TV
Spotless ensuite with decent water pressure and heat.
Decent wifi connection.
Friendly staff.
Well located near to a Waitrose and Sainsburys, not far from Holburn Puregym, Kings Cross Station/Euston Station.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Meh - I got a room all the way in the basement, no view. Ceriling height is 6’ tall. The room above me is so noisy, i can hear the person walked around. Location is convenient but this hotel is not maintained well. When i took a shower, water started accumulated, obviously there is a draining issue. Bed is old and squeaky, if you toss & turn alot like me, you’ll know what i mean.
- Gary (6/5): - Basic but fine for one night.
- Andrea (6/5): - Easy to find. Walking distance from Kings Cross. Next to University so students were about. Clean but dated. Comfy bed. No aircon so it might get quite hot in summer but was okay in March.
- Richard (10/5): - Very welcoming
- Mark (10/5): - Comfortable beds, good pillows, nice duvets, clean room, nice staff and excellent location. Building is very pretty too
- Houri (4/5): - The hotel does not washing basin and water in the public toilet.
No elevator
Difficult for old and disable people
No refrigerator in the room
- Robert (4/5): - It was quiet, good location, staff was friendly.
- Brian (8/5): - Great little hotel right in the centre if London 10 minutes from King’s Cross 19/15 minutes from Oxford Street
- KENNETH (8/5): Spotless Bijou room, good value for the money... - Although my single room was a little compact, it was very clean, with a modern recently updated ensuite shower room.
The bed was very comfortable with pristine bedding.
Great location, with helpful staff.
Although no breakfast provided there was plenty of local reasonable cafes.
I would definitily recommend this hotel and use again.
- Christopher B. (2/5): - This is not a hotel and should not be advertised as one. This is more of a old and unkempt guesthouse. This is a one star property at best, but you would be better off finding literally anything else.
The room was small and musty. The electricity in the bathroom stopped working and we had to take showers using our cell phone flashlights.
We did not stay for a second night but the manager rudely refused to refund anything to us. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS PROPERTY
- Anastasija (2/5): - This is definitely not a 3 star hotel, more like minus 3 stars. It is hugely dated, grubby, not been renovated for at least 20 years and the fire safety is questionable. The smoke alarm was taped over in our room. We were in the attic bedroom and most certainly would have broken our legs trying to evacuate down those stairs. I would really recommend staying clear of this property. It is a rip off.
- Andrew (2/5): - Overpriced. Washroom was smaller than a closet. Couldn’t fit inside. No air conditioning. Fans from the 1800’s. Burnt out light bulbs. Hooks in wall not secured. Staff were very unfriendly when I brought a friend over. Said I could not. If I am paying $550CAD for two nights, I expect to be able to bring a local friend into the “hotel”. Book an extra 10 min out-you can get anywhere on the tube. Definitely not worth the money.
- Takahiro (6/5): - Good - Close to St.Pancras Station
Staff service Friendly
Not good - Facility is old.
No elevator and narrow stairs
Room Floor squeaking.
Acceptable - internet speed ( DL around 30Mbps)
- Michael (8/5): Cheap and basic - Cramped room on top floor that would normally only be big enough for a single but a double was squeezed in .having to force door open and shut past matress .
- Margaret (4/5): Don't plan on actually sleeping if you stay there. - The hotel is well sited for Kings Cross & Euston stations on a quiet side street.
However I was in a basement room with 2 short sets of stairs to get there and no lighting on the 2nd set. Not good if you have any vision problems.
The narrow room was clean with adequate storage for 2 nights. However 1 of the 3 ceiling lights didn't work, nor did the light above the bedroom mirror. The bathroom needs some TLC, starting with the radiator that did not work. I had to keep the door to the bedroom wedged open to get some heat in: needed as this was in December. The shower worked well but there was no grab-rail and no non-slip stickers on the shower tray. Another accident waiting to happen.
They didn't warn me that the room is above the underground and every 2 minutes or so a tube train would thunder along under the floor. Outside was a generator of some sort so there was a loud buzzing sound all the time.
Sleep was not easy but at least the trains stop late at night. However on both mornings someone thudded their way into the room above at about 4am then banged and crashed for several minutes then left. This pattern went on for at least 2 hours. This must have been someone working at the hotel because I can't see a guest behaving like this.
- Harry (10/5): - Room was very small and narrow but for the price and I paid and the location it was worth it.
- Paddy (8/5): Overall good experience, one criticism. - Lovely staff, very clean and welcoming
HUGE TV. big comfy bed.
Only criticism is we werent warned that the doors will be locked after a certain time with no way in and no one to contact.
Luckily another guests dog needed the loo so we got in eventually but we were worried for quite a while that we would have to sleep in the car lol.
- Mark (8/5): -
- Ben (2/5): - There is currently a large building site right next the property I got into my room 6am to get some rest. At 7.30am the hammering/drilling etc. The windows are single glazed and might as well not have been there in terms of noise prevention. So I got zero sleep and checked out 9am.
- Michael (2/5): - Try to avoid staying here even if it’s for one night, the place definitely needs some renovations done not only that but if you wanted to charge your phone you have to buy a specific port to do so. Overall this place was terrible.
- Abshir (10/5): - It was great and nice places
- Aniema (4/5): Outdated - In need of serious refurbishment
- Janet B (10/5): Very Good - Just exceptional, clean, tidy, good customer service and great breakfast to fuel your day,, I stay here as often as I can during work in London. Would highly recommended.
- NOMAAN (4/5): Meh - First of all, the linen and bedding in general were spotless and very clean, and the staff were nice enough. Also, the breakfast wasn't bad. Therefore, I've given a 2-Star review.
However, the above factors are secondary to the primary objective of getting a good night's sleep!
In a nutshell:
-There is a loud sound EVERY few minutes which shakes the room. It is obviously the trains from the underground. The sounds die down at night and are now absolutely CONSTANT. YOU WILL NOT SLEEP past 6 or 7am. It's 7.56am as I write this (to post later).
-I can hear other guests walking around, plus can hear conversations very loudly and clearly. This "hotel" is basically a house with paper thin walls converted into a hotel.
-The WIFI is TERRIBLE! I have had one or two bars at best, and the signal continues to disappear for hours at a time.
-The room was slightly chilly last night; couldn't find a radiator or any heating switches. The bathroom is VERY COLD.
-You must hand in your key whenever you leave the hotel, though there is a 24 hour front desk.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Like: breakfast
Dislike: instant coffee at breakfast
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Absolutely nothing like it says it is online. They will not let you keep your room key... extremely uncomfortable & did not stay there.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We were allotted family room on 4th floor , poor access , uneven staircases , uneven floor , difficult to climb with luggage
Slip while climbing
No help from reception , no lift , uncooperative staff
Room too small with poor distribution of electric socket
Shower room smelly and full of dirt
No public toilet
It’s a bed and breakfast NOT hotel
We left room after one night and paid for two night
Please let us know how to go ahead for complain and claims
Thanks for asking feedback
Regards
Jamjute
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Friendly staff, and a pleasant comfortable room - we had a 4 person family room on the top floor. Didn't try breakfast so can't comment, but otherwise the hotel was very pleasant and I would stay here again.
- John (6/5): Over all a reasonable one night stay. - Located close to Kings Cross. Despite the central location it was a quiet hotel (the noises outside from about 05:30 were just London waking up). Its a converted house over about four floors with breakfast room in the basement. All staff were very polite and helpful. My room which should have been en suite had a seperate but private bathroom. Normally not an issue but no robe was provided so it was either get dressed to use it or do a dash across the corridor. I could have compalined as I booled en suite but I was there for one night. Breakfast was very good and well served. Overall a reasonable one night stay. It was pricey for what I had but its London rates. There is a lot of competition at this level and I would look around a bit more if staying in the area again. This is no reflection on the Staff or Hotel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great location but the room is old. - Not really a hotel but more a B&B. Small room. Smaller bathroom. About 2 ft from edge of toiler to the wall. Shower didn’t drain as fast as the water flow. Almost flooded the bathroom. Very small shower. But great water pressure. Carpeting is dated and needs a refresh. TV is blah, channels are hit or miss. Definitely not recommended for larger folks. I’m 5’7” and 200# and was tight for me. Great bed, slept well.
- Kim (4/5): - Shower dripped all night
Curtains hard to pull across
Old condition
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Location was excellent. Bathroom was very small and hard getting luggage up the stairs. However the excellent staff did help take luggage out on check out
- J (8/5): - Okay for overnight rest, don’t expect much. Close to St Pancreas, by the garden and closer to restaurants is bonus.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Below budget standard - Chose this hotel because I regularly work in Bloomsbury and have stayed at other hotels in Cartwright Gardens, the road where the Avonmore is situated. Bloomsbury is a pleasant area that I would recommend. Unfortunately the Avonmore was below budget standard. My room had a hole in the door, a big rip in the bedsheet, cigarette ends and rubbish outside the window and one flimsy lock on the door. A door chain is a cheap and basic addition but like the repairs that were needed in the room, which would have been cheap and easy to do, there is no attempt to maintain a basic standard at this hotel. I stayed in July and it was quite hot, there is no air conditioning or fan so the only way to stay cool is by opening the window, unfortunately the window opens into a balcony which has free access to and from two other rooms, making an open window a security risk. Sorry I can't be more positive but this hotel felt grubby and poor value for money. Other hotels in Cartwright Gardens are a much better standard for the same price.
- romona (2/5): nightmare - no air conditioning and not at all clean. I need my money back. I had to check into another hotel the same night
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Location was fine, room was clean if a little dated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Went to London on the hottest day of the year so would’ve been more comfortable with air conditioning.
- Beverly (6/5): July stay - My biggest concern was having to leave my key and wait for someone to let me in the front door each time. I think this is a good place for a discounted price as it is basic and meets basic needs. However, the cost was high for the quality. Some of the staff was helpful in navigating London and the breakfast was decent. Location is good for catching London transportation
- DINESH (2/5): Not so good B and B in a good location - It is not a hotel. More of a B and B. Only the location is good.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The only good thing about this hotel was its shower
- David (2/5): Expensive and nasty - Cheap and nasty hotel especially at £200+ per night, I would pay more than £50
- Lynn (8/5): Lone female. Good, clean, secure. Overnight stay. - One night business stay, woman travelling alone. Friendly and helpful staff, good welcome, reception manned all the time so security good. Modest, in that fittings etc had seen better days but absolutely immaculately clean. Bed linen and towels good quality and immaculately laundered to a really high standard. I was impressed. Bed comfortable and clean. Bathroom had older fittings but spotlessly clean- really impressed with cleanliness. Breakfast well-cooked and of very good quality. Limited choice but very well done. Friendly staff in breakfast room, like a family business? Quiet-ish location in that it is set back in a crescent. Very nice location. Close to many cafes and restaurants for eating in the evening and close to Brunswick Square for evening eating too. Really convenient for not too pricey Bloomsbury stay. Wifi connection good.
- Vanessa (6/5): Shame about the noise. - The staff at the hotel were really friendly. But this is a tired hotel and oh so noisy. Woke up at 5.30am cause someone was talking outside. Then the traffic started and it seemed to be non-stop. Would I come back again - unfortunately, don't think so.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Hot and wonky floor - The room was on the 4th floor with the top set of stairs being twisted with small steps and quite difficult to get a suitcase up. There was no offer of help from staff and the lack of a lift was not stated when booking.
The staff were there 24hours.
The room was very hot despite having all windows open and it was not a warm evening outside. The bed was comfortable and the linen clean. The bathroom cleanliness was questionable and there was mould/damp in the shower.
The main issue with this room apart from the heat was that the floor boards were bowed which caused the draw of the desk to fall open when closed and mad you feel as if you had consumed lots of alcohol as at times it made me unsteady on my feet.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Walking distance to many facilities such as British Museum and British Library. Easy access to Euston Station, St. Pancras and King's Cross. Variety of places to eat within walking distance. Rooms clean and neat, pleasant breakfast facilities, front desk staff always available and willing to help. Would stay here again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The staffs are very friendly and good breakfast. It would be great if the towels are newer.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The location is great and the staff were friendly overall. For a one night stay it was a little more than okay, but not great. There were three of us and they allowed us to store our bags in the stairwell since we arrived 3 hours earlier than checkin. It was sketchy to leave our bags out in the open, but they were still there when we arrived and with all of our belongings. The room was okay. It was somewhat clean; had a kettle with tea, sugar, and coffee; body soap; shampoo; and hair dryer. The bed was very uncomfortable; mattress was hard and lumpy. The toilet seat was not attached and the plumbing isn't that great. All three of us had a difficult time sleeping. The shower is small and the water must run for several minutes before it gets warm to hot. The breakfast was okay. They provide a full english breakfast, yogurt, fresh fruit, and cereals. Again, upon check out they let us store our bags again. All in all I would stay again for only one night; anything more would cause great back pain due to the lack of comfort of the matresses.
- Alex (6/5): Good for an overnight stay in a central location. - Avonmore was fine for one night stay. The decor and fittings were tired but it was clean and it’s central location helped.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Ideal location to Euston & Kings Cross stations. A budget hotel which was very clean and comfortable.
- Stephen (6/5): It’s a London 2* hotel - Well we’ve seen mixed reviews .. we booked early and simply wanted a sleepover bolt hole. Service was civil and the room was clean and tidy ...it’s only 2 star and the decor is tired. My recommendation would be try for an upper room and don’t book late as you will probably settle for one of the smaller downstairs rooms. Go into it with 2star eyes open and it’s fine
- KV (8/5): - Small room, but clean and friendly. For that location, great value for money...
- Jan (8/5): - I knew this was not a high-end hotel, but it was in my budget and close to Euston Station. What was so nice about this place was that the staff was so accommodating, pleasant, helpful..They went out of their way to answer questions and accommodate me when I said I would have difficulty with steps. I would definitely stay again.
- Mark (8/5): Convenient for Euston station. - Very small room, but OK for short stay. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
- James (2/5): Over-priced basement. Shoddy. - Stuck in the basement. Rust on a lot of furnishings.
- Michael (2/5): - This hotel was oversold on Expedia. I was extremely dissapointed that Expedia did not accurately assess this property. As it stands, you have it as a 3 star hotel. It's no more than a 2-star.
-I was put in a room in the basement about the size of my home closet. The room did not have air conditioning, a phone or proper lighting. The TV satellite was hit-or-miss as it often went down. The room smelled of the bathroom shower and mildew and visible natural light was near available.
I;m a regular user of Expedia services being a Management Consultant. Should this mismatch happen again, I will avoid relying upon Expedia for Hotel Bookings.
yours,
Michael Hurwich
- Michael (8/5): A decent budget option - Great location, reasonable facilities and service. My only real gripe is the WiFi, which is unusably bad.
- ANGELITA (10/5): - The service was very friendly and I really like the people who work there
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Reception staff were extremely helpful. However I was denied request to have a boiled egg instead of fried at breakfast. There was no soap in the bathroom..
Only the excellent location justifies the high price paid for one night in a basement room...
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Excellent home-cooked English breakfast. Otherwise, a somewhat dilapidated hotel with narrow, winding staircases, and outdated technology. For example, no electronic keycards, and a policy that keys should be left at the front desk when out of the building. No A/C.
- monique (10/5): Travelers home - My stay here was great! It was a good priced stay and it was in a great neighborhood. In the morning they offer a free full English breakfast and the staff is so welcoming and nice. Made me feel at home.
- mike (8/5): Good budget hotel - For a budget hotel it is absolutely fine. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was enjoyable too. Only criticisms were that my room had a lock that looked anything but secure, a drawer was enterprising.y held shut by wedging a tea bag OM the way, the bathroom door shut with a tremendous bag and the bottom of the door looked like it had been carved with an ace. Please understand that these are minor points and I would be happy to stay here again.
- Clive (8/5): - Fine for the price.
- David (8/5): A decent no frills hotel - Good value for London, gets the basics right - clean room, comfortable bed, reasonable breakfast. A decent no frills hotel in a convenient area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Stay here; get anywhere - Great location with friendly & helpful staff. Breakfast was good. Hotel is little dated, but our room was clean and fine. The stairs to the upper rooms are very steep & narrow.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Pleasant location convenient for Euston with friendly helpful staff and surprisingly a cooked breakfast.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Hotel room double - No bathroom inside was outside bedroom and shared for the cheaper room.
- Abi (8/5): Good value, pleasant stay - The staff were very nice, the room was small but very good value for the location and I was really pleasantly surprised with my stay.
- Malcolm (10/5): Avon EvenMore! - Great and kind staff
- Patrick (4/5): Stay somewhere else if you can afford to! - Hotel is something out of the eighties. It had rickety flooring and you could hear through the walls . They had physical keys so you leave your key at the front desk whenever you go out. There was no room to store my bags when I checked in early so they were in the hallway. Much nicer hotels in the area. On the bright, location is fantastic and it was cheap.
- Tam (8/5): - Nice clean, quiet hotel, ideal for a last-minute stay in London after a crazy day. Close to Kings Cross station so very easy to get out and about from. V. good value for money.
- Grant (4/5): Better Alternatives in Same Area - There are a lot of hotels in near the Kings Cross tube station, and there are better choices than the Avonmore.
The photos from the hotel’s website are artfully composed to hide the fact that the rooms are only about 5 feet wide. Other things I didn’t like were the fact that there’s no telephone in the room, the carpet in the room smells musty and should have been replaced years ago, there's no control over the heating (other than opening and closing a window), noise and conversations are easily heard from adjacent rooms, and the extremely small shower, which measures only 3 feet by 3 feet and had some mildew.
The staff was nice, but for the price there are better alternatives in the area.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not worthy the price. - The wifi is very slow and almost impossible to use. There are some noises all day even during night. The breakfast is good. The bathroom is extreamly small.
- Robert (8/5): - Good value, decent room, breakfast and wifi were OK at best.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel, centrally located - Room small but adequate. Good value for money, excellent breakfast and prime location for central London.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Threadbare carpets, cold room, terrible en suite
but at least the staff were pleasant
- Verified traveler (2/5): Extremely disappointing. - The "hotel" was nothing like advertised. I knew booking last minute wouldnt get me the best 5star deal for a moderate budget but I did not expect a rip off at 4star rated prices either. At check-in, we were promised help with luggage as my middle aged parents couldn't haul all bags up to the attick where our room was. We were given an excuse by a different person every time as to why they cannot help such as being unable to leave reception (hole in the wall on the stairs landing) unattended for a few minutes when clearly they had nothing better to do than to play with their phones and ignore guests. Last 2 flights of stairs were not to code, extremely narrow, sharp turn and no handrail; no wonder nobody wanted to volunteer to take the luggage through that. When we politely mentioned that this isn't for us and we would like to leave after the first night, they wanted to charge for an extra night for early cancellation. That's what tipped us over the edge. This "suite for 3" was a room with beds for 4 people, crammed in so that it could fit as many people in it at the same time as possible. Advertised prices were excluding fees that were added at check-out. We eventually got help with 2 bags one at check-in, one at check-out with much unwanted bitter attitude. For what it's worth, the bed and washroom was clean and got cleaned everyday.
- David (8/5): Good location and value for money. - Alexander gave my wife and I a very warm welcome. Willingly changed our room to accommodate physical restriction with stairs. Really comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast freshly cooked by pleasant staff.
Our experience was very positive. Yes the stair carpet does need replacing, but no other negatives for us. Good value. Will return on our next visit to London.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Location was good for central London - Decor very very tired small room not worth the money
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Great location. Nice breakfast. Basement bedroom with awful ensuite. Tiny bathroom which smelt damp. Shower tray filled up during shower.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Location and breakfast were good! Beds were not very comfortable but overall value was ok.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Good location. Uncomfortable conditions, poor services.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Ideal for a budget business trip, attentive staff. - Fine for a one night stay; plus points - the staff/team friendly, welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Wonderful cooked breakfast ( best fried egg had in ages - perfect! ) and the free wi-fi was quick and reliable. Nice touch having x2 bottles of water ready in the room on a hot summer day. Downside - room a little tired, bed seen better days and carpet worn. For a budget hotel in a nice quiet area overlooking a park & close to Euston, it gets a thumbs up overall
- Sheree (8/5): Very good value for money. - Avonmore is a very reasonably priced hotel with free breakfast. we stayed two nights. It is clean but in need of update and a paint job. My family stayed in room 16 which is right up on the third floor. Access to the top floor is up a narrow staircase which was not easy with a small suitcase. Once in the room it had twin beds and a double. All very tight but so long as you don't spend much time in the room fine. The dressing table drawers do not close so I used a piece of paper to act as an anchor to keep them shut. The bathroom is functional and clean. Water was hot in the shower with a reasonable flow of water for the top floor. Room was light and it was a quiet location. Slept well. Breakfast was very nice and served with a smile. Location is a huge bonus as it is only two stops on tube from Covent Gardens. Do not go expecting anything plush and you will not be disappointed. I would stay there again very happily.
- Michael (4/5): Room for improvement - This is a great location however we were so disappointed that we were given the top floor annex. I have bad knees and climbing five flights of stairs including the top flight which are dangerously narrow and steep, was no easy feat.
Breakfast was minimal to say the least, very minimal. Overall this could be a really good hotel given a full make over and some basic changes to guests physical demands and breakfast really could be improved, because the price shouldn't include a " full English" not. Continental English breakfast!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Honest staff!! Super breakfast, bed a wee bit old. - Excellent breakfast, bed a wee hard, staff EXCELLENT!!
- Tourists (10/5): Cosy comfortable clean room. - From checking in to checking out, was very good. Stayed two nights, good location, between Euston and St Pancras King Cross stations. Facilities in room are sufficient. Provides with coffee/tea, kettles, hairdryer, toiletries. Beds are comfortable with cosy duvets. Rooms are clean and tidy every days. Good lightings in the room, a main, plus individual overhead bed light. Staffs are great and helpful.
Only thing I like share to people who could not climb stairs is there is no lift available, but you could request for lower floor, if not been taken.
Yes will stayed there again and recommend to friends.
