• Adventure45655391142 (4/5): High price for average rooms - For £250 I would have expected more than a room that was not really up to the standard of a premier inn one. Very average. At 8.30 on the Saturday morning the cleaners started cleaning the rooms on the floor whilst talking loudly to each other from one end of the corridor to the other. On check out the receptionist was told of the issue we had and said she would talk to the manger of the cleaners. However the damage had already been done. Not a very relaxing break.
• at676 (4/5): Bait and switch breakfast! - The hotel is nothing special but in a good location. The reason I give it a low 2 star is due to the way their “bait and switch” tactics. And I said “tactics”, in plural. I booked the room on the BW website, room only. While waiting for my turn to check in, another guest was checking out. There’s a lengthy discussion about a breakfast charge which the guest said he didn’t eat. I should have paid more attention to it but I unfortunately didn’t. But I did noticed the sign indicating a hefty charge for breakfast, which I thought to myself “that’s pretty expensive breakfast!” During check-in, the front desk staff offered me “free breakfast” despite my not booked the room with the breakfast option (I don’t eat much at breakfast, just coffee and pastry). I thought that was a nice gesture. So I thanked her profusely and went up to my room. On the elevator and just about everywhere, there’re multiple signs on how much the breakfast was. I thought that was odd. Imagine my surprise when at checkout, I was told I owed 3 breakfasts. So we went on a long discussion on the “free offer” which the manager on duty said he couldn’t find any notes indicating such an offer on file. He then made another “offer”: “I will talk to my boss and see if he would agree to refund part of it given the misunderstanding”. Guess what? You’re probably not surprise that no communication whatsoever on that second “offer” of refund were ever forthcoming! In short, the hotel uses their overpriced breakfast as a bait and switch to extract additional income from the guests. Guests, in plural, as I witnessed the same drama playing out with another guest earlier. And they further make more “offer” of refund which they also failed to honor! (Btw, the “breakfast buffet” was of mediocre standard. I definitely wouldn’t have bothered paying 16 pounds for. Could have gotten a lot better pastry and coffee for less than 10)
• K9590IAjanicet (6/5): Average hotel with good location - The hotel showed 4 stars AA outside but that was not reflected inside. Room average, though clean. En suite okay. Minimal refreshments. Net curtains need a wash and ironing. Carpet needs a clean too. Receptionists were nice and helpful though and gave us a cup of tea when we were waiting to leave. Suggest new seating in Reception area. Lastly location was good. Bars, restaurants and shops all around but hotel on quiet road. You can get almost anywhere from the area, by bus or tube. No 24 bus can get you to the hotel from Victoria Station if you don’t feel like walking.
• Therese (8/5): Great location, clean but a little cramped - The room is very small just enough for a solo traveler with one luggage. There was no fridge and no AC only fan so challenging in the summer. There was a heater for winter tho. The toilet is also very cramped. Its alright as long as you know what to expect. I was disappointed there was no fridge at least. It was clean and the cleaner comes every day. The location is amazing, very close to the train station and bus stops. Can walk to Westminster and Victoria Station.

• Estella (2/5): Room robbed of all valuables - On Saturday, September 13, 2025, while sightseeing in London, our room at the Corona Hotel (UK) was robbed of cash and jewelry. The room safe containing the cash and jewelry was removed in its entirety. There was no evidence of forced entry. We immediately notified the police and they came to our hotel room and filed a police report. We have heard nothing from the Hotel, Hotel Management or Best Western corporation
• A1216HRdaisyd (6/5): Low maintenance and safety - I had recently stayed 2 nights at this hotel for vacation. Something very unfortunate incident happened with me which we never expected to happen in hotel room. While using the bathroom, i just slided the shower door and it shattered and collapsed and fall apart and the glass pieces were all over me. I managed to come out of the bathroom somehow . Luckily i had slight minor cuts. I reported the incident at the reception asap and they offered us another room promptly. But such incidents should never happen, authorities should have proper maintenance and hazard and safety checks and think about guest safety.
• Michael (8/5): Decent location but room was small - Room was very small and no place to unpack clothes. It was very warm in the room at night even with fans running. It was nicely finished with nice tile in the bathroom and a new shower but bathroom was also very small. I did like the location which is on the bus line, and also about a 15 minute walk to Victoria Station. There are restaurants, pubs and stores close by. Area seemed safe and quiet at night. When I was looking for hotels in London seemed like a lot of reviewers noted small hotel rooms. So I think this is pretty normal. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

• alancB914BK (6/5): Not the best - Was there recently for 3 nights for work. I'll start with the good. Excellent location, which was main reason for booking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. Now the bad. I had a double room, but it was very small, as was the bathroom. The room was also very dated and basic. It did not have air conditioning, which was a BIG problem given how hot it was. The hotel also didn't have a restaurant (contrary to website) it only served breakfast. I was there 3 night's and it couldn't offer place to eat an evening meal...this is in residential area so proper restaurants a good 20 min walk away. This was a real issue.

• Ian (6/5): Incomprehensible why this is a 4-star hotel - This is nothing like a 4-star hotel. There are no extra facilities and no aircon. My room was small with a tiny bathroom and the fixtures were loose and far from new. The breakfast was also in a small room and was adequate, but again I've eaten better in 3-star places. The staff are pleasant enough, though difficult to find in the evening. The hotel is well-located, close to Pimlico tube station and the river.

• loopief (10/5): Happy to return! - Had a very quick visit and wanted to stay somewhere central in London. This was very near the tube station (Pimlico) in a quiet(ish) residential area with bars and cafes within easy distance. The single room was obviously basic, but very clean and had all that was required. I was on 3rd floor, so had a lovely street view. It was very reasonably priced too. Comfortable bed, clean white sheets and towels. (bathroom was small, but this was to be expected…it had everything you need!) The female receptionist was extremely friendly, welcoming and professional. On my return in the evening, the gentleman on reception was equally friendly too. I felt safe walking back to hotel in the evening on my own. I didn’t eat breakfast here, as had other things to do, so cannot comment on dining area etc, but I would definitely return.

• Beyond_Borders_Trvl (6/5): Tiny Room, Great Location - The Best Western Corona isn’t winning any awards for comfort, but it does the job if you’re looking for a simple place to sleep while visiting London. The room was extremely small hardly enough room to set down a suitcase and the bathroom felt cramped and in need of some updates. Cleanliness could’ve been better too; nothing awful, but not quite fresh either. That said, its best feature is the location. It’s situated in a quiet neighborhood and just a short walk from the nearest Underground station, which made getting around the city super convenient. If you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring and just need a basic bed for the night, it’s passable. But if space and comfort are high on your list, you might want to look elsewhere.

• JennyI2 (8/5): Brilliant location - Hotel in the ideal location to the coach station. The room was compact but fine for just using it to sleep. We had an issue with the safe but within half an hour we had a new safe. The reception staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a little bit of a let down for myself. I’m not sure if it’s because the breakfast room is quite small, but that’s my opinion. I think for the staff it’s a lot for them to make our toast and then be on top of cleaning tables.

That said, having to sit at angle whilst on the loo because sitting normal is impossible due to the proximity of the pipes beneath the sink is unacceptable. Also the shower barely allows. • Y1593CTewaz (10/5): Highly recommended - For a family holiday the location of the hotel is perfect, if you are coming for a show. I'd definitely recommend. It's 15 min walk from Victoria Station and there's a station that's a 4 minute walk that is one stop away from Victoria station so it's very accessible. Rooms are clean and neat. Very friendly and helpful staff.

• Steve (6/5): Need to take a leaf out of Travel Lodges book - First night it was like there was a party going on in the room above, they moved me rooms no problem however the rooms are like stepping back in time, showers are terrible, you have to run around to get wet thats if it hasn't taken your skin off or frozen you to death as there is no happy medium with the temperature.

Unfortunately the tv didnt work properly, staff came to look at it but couldnt sort it and there were no maintenance staff available, offered another room but that tv was the same so just had to make do. The towels were only small, didnt cover up, did have to ask the next day and were given bigger towels but shouldnt have to ask really. Overall ok but for the price would have expected these issues not to have occured .

If you have any suitcases larger than a back pack size, there is no where to put them in the room and be able to walk around. Husband is 6 feet and could barely fit in the bathroom. Our friends got a basement room and said it was horrible. Room was clean and double bed was comfy, but room size is very claustrophobic! Thank god we only booked for two nights.

• MuhammadK97 (6/5): "Cramped Room, Poor Service, and Disruptive Stay" - I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, paid for by my company due to its proximity to my office. Despite being a double room, it was so small that after putting my luggage, there was barely any space to move. I can't imagine how two people would fit. I found a spider in my room, and the receptionist just said they’d report it. The bed was uncomfortable, leaving me with back pain. To top it off, the fire alarm went off three times at 7 AM on Saturday because someone was using a hair dryer. The breakfast wasn't worth the price either.

• JoanneMcC30 (10/5): Perfect quite and cosy hotel - We stayed here for three nights on a recent family trip to London. The hotel is on a really lovely quiet street. It's only a short stroll to the tube station so you can reach Central London in a matter of minutes. There are also a number of lovely cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The reception staff were so lovely and really helpful with all of our questions.

• H6227DHjohnb (6/5): A little over priced for what they had to offer - We were very tired from walking around London all day and then the elevator was broken ( our room was in the basement), the shower was the size of a postage stamp and the breakfast for 3 people was a little over $60. I’m sorry but that is a bit much for beans on toast. No air conditioning and the heater was a fan. We were able to open one of the windows.

• Rick (10/5): Pleasantly surprised - Based on some of the other reviews, we didn’t know what to expect, so we were pleasantly surprised! The front desk people were very helpful answering questions and calling taxis for us. Yes the room and bathroom were very small, but we had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Air conditioning would have been nice since we came during a heat wave, but we always travel with a tiny 6” fan, so it moved the air around just enough. We did not have the breakfast so can’t comment on it. We would stay here again if we came back to London in the future.

• V1828GEdavidc (10/5): Great staff and great Westminster City location! - We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Corona Hotel. The location was ideal and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was smaller than most American rooms, but this was expected. The location was a row of quaint white former Victorian town houses Our arrival was delayed because of a flight cancelation and they worked with us through the change of itinerary and welcomed us early the day after our original arrival reservation.

• Dwain (2/5): - Smallest room I’ve encountered in 50 years of travel. Tiny tiny bathroom. Elevator out of order; had to carry luggage up 43 steps to get to “second” floor; very dangerous. No air conditioning. Available blanket too heavy for summer, no top sheet available. Dirty carpet. Greatly damaged my opinion of Best Western. We were delayed one full day due to airline line delays but still had to pay for the missed day. Positive note: staff very friendly and helpful.

• Sara (10/5): - I was very satisfied with the spotless clean room and bathroom. I read the reviews about the size of the room and I was a little concerned about being too small but not so much for a triple room. The size was comfortable comparable to other hotels. Except for the bathroom…it was super tiny: half of sink and and small shower. Service was excelente. There have a lot of breakfast options on the full buffet (for a charge). Overall I recommend this hotel.
• Jasper (10/5): - Great hotel. We switched to this hotel after having a bad experience at a different London hotel and were so happy. Walking distance to the Victoria tube station so you can get around easily. Great hotel would definitely stay again.
• fayeadeacon (6/5): Close to train and sites - This is a good place to stay if you want to be close to the London sites. The rooms are a bit cramped, but if you are not planning on spending much time at the hotel they are fine.

• Wesley (6/5): - It was an okay room although the building to through the wall was pounding and doing construction at 5am in the morning.
• Wesley (4/5): - The noise on the first floor, pounding and drilling starting at 4:30am was ridiculous. How on earth could anyone sleep during that.
• Mark (6/5): - The reception staff are ALL exceptional in this hotel, rooms are little tired but clean. Breakfast was ok.
