• Lorinda (10/5): Loved the place, once we warmed up! - The room was well decorated, the shower was great, The location was great for walking to most of the locations we wanted to visit, We even felt very safe walking back to the hotel at night. I was so impressed at how clean the streets and sidewalks were everywhere we walked. The heat was set at too low a temperature, or was not on at all the first 2 nights, but after going down to the front desk they set the temperature up to where it was more comfortable, and after the second night it remained at the temp we requested for the rest of our stay.
• Suzie (10/5): Ideal - Extremely pleased with this hotel, amazing value for money. The room was compact but absolutely spotless and really comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. It was the best hotel I’ve stayed in on a budget and is in a great location. Very clean, cosy and comfortable.

The lobby is a bit deceptive compared to the pictures, but the staff has been very great and helpful and the room, though small, are very confortable which is the most important We had some bugs in the room but the staff did all that it could to help us and suggested a discount to compensate. This was very much appreciated.

• Elspeth (9/5): - L'emplacement à côté des Gares de Victoria et metro + bus était idéal. La chambre était très bien décorée et le lit super confortable. La salle de bains parfait avec une bonne pression dans la douche. ... et un détail, le sèche cheveux était installé juste à côté d'un miroir. Bien pensé! Le personnel était très accueillant et nous avons pu laisser nos bagages le jour du check-out gratuitement (vs £15 à la consigne de la gare). Cela méritait le petit detour le soir pour les récupérer.

• Isabella (9/5): Excelente estada - Habitaciones limpias, cama muy cómoda. El hotel está muy cerca de la Victoria Station, lo que facilita mucho el transporte. Estábamos en el último andar del hotel y las vistas eran muy bonitas. La habitación, como esperado, era bien pequeña. Pero, además de eso, faltaban ganchos o algo para dejar las toalhas penduradas así como tus pertenencias. Es importante tener en cuenta que no hay ascensor, así que hay que subir muchas escaleras. A nosotros nos tocó el último nivel, las vistas eran muy bonitas.

• Rebecca (6/5): - This hotel is in a great position, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, with comfy beds and a great waterfall shower. Lovely cups in the room too. The room was very small, unable to get around one side of the double bed without bashing yourself on the mounted tv. It was a basement room which I didn't realise with a blackout over the window so no natural light and unable to open to get fresh air but i would definitely book a room in this hotel above ground floor as that was the only downfall really.

• Paula (8/5): Perfect if you just need a place to stay. No extras here, but it was beautifully furnished, quiet, and convenient - Very clean, nicely furnished, comfortable bed. No lift was really the only issue. We had a few heavy bags to lift up 4 flights of narrow stairs. I’m not as young as I used to be.

Le quartier est très beau et calme. Le lit était confortable et l’accueil excellent. Personnellement, nous avons trouvé la chambre un peu petite , mais pour Londres, cela reste une taille normale. L'insonorisation n'est pas idéale et on entend les voisins.

• Mariana (8/5): Excellent location for short stays - The location is excellent, with easy access to the city center's main attractions by walking or public transport. 24h reception makes check-in/check-out very easy and convenient. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very small (fine for short stays, but may be an issue for travellers staying longer than 2-3 days and/or groups). There is no elevator, which I knew before making the reservation, but climbing several flights of stairs after a long day exploring is tiring. Some noise from adjacent rooms and street, but nothing excessive.

• Melinda (8/5): Boutique gem in a great location - Beautifully done-up terrace house with a boutique feel. All staff were super friendly and obliging with accommodating our needs and calling a cab. Rooms were comfortable, and loved the tiny details in the bathroom. The rooms are on the small side especially with luggage open on the ground. There could be a range of pillow options as they were all very soft and flat.

Tanti buoni ristorantini, pub e supermercati attorno. Stuff molto gentile e disponibile. Hanno offerto colazione ai bambini. Come quasi tutti edifici di quell'epoca non ha un ascensore, ma nel nostro caso non era grave avendo soltanto gli zaini. Ci hanno comunque proposto di portarli su dallo stuff. La stanza da 3 era un po piccola, ma usandola solo per dormire non era un problema.
• KATRIN (9/5): Nice surprise - Although I go often to London, I normally stay in other areas so when needing a Victoria hotel, I mainly booked just for the location and was positively surprised to find a cute, charming hotel with a small but comfortable room, windows that can be opened (important thing that Booking.com should specify), friendly staff and a perfect location. Bedside reading light was rather too weak.

Les fenêtres qui ne s’ouvrent pas l’impression d’étouffer. Les rideaux qui ne fermaient pas bien donc la lumière du jour qui passe d’un côté.. Le ménage n’est pas fait d’un jour sur l’autre (il fallait le demander!)….

Liked how clean and modern the bathrooms were. And check in started at 1:30pm. They didn’t have a lift to get to 4th floor but we get it, it’s an old building.

Good value for money for our short stay in London. We had a ground floor as we had a baby and buggy but there is no lift in the hotel.
