- Evi (9/5): Sehr schönes Hotel mit gutem Service und Frühstück in belebter Gegend - Das Frühstück war grandios. Der Service war äußerst zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Sowohl von Seiten der Rezeption, als auch beim Frühstück. Die Lage im spanischen Viertel war super geeignet, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind einem Kloster nachempfunden. Die Ausstattung im Bad (Dusche) war besonders.

- Donna (10/5): Location and Comfort, in a lovely quaint hotel - This was a surprise last minute booking. Turned out to be a great experience. Super location in the Spanish Quarter, 24 hour desk staff who are friendly and helpful, very clean, comfortable beds and bedding and pillows, awesome bathroom, and a good breakfast with much to choose from. Will definitely stay here again and recommend if you love this dynamic part of town! Nothing.

In the middle of the Spanish Quarter with many narrow streets, many restaurants and a pleasant hectic admosphere. People at the reception are very friendly and helpfull. The breakfastroom is rather small, the breakfast is okay. The rooms are not very big but quite nice. The beds are really very good. Nothing.

- Hildegard (9/5): Angenehmer Aufenthalt in charmantem Hotel! - Ideale Lage, um Neapel zu erkunden. Das Hotel befindet sich im spanischen Viertel. Für andere Ziele sind Metro und Busse fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war gut, der Frühstücksraum sehr klein. Es gab kurzfristig gelegentlich Staus, die aber von den Mitarbeitern freundlich gelöst wurden. Wir hatten ein etwas größeres Zimmer, das nach hinten heraus lag, dringend zu empfehlen. Nach vorne war es lebhaft. Die Sauberkeit war einwandfrei. Wir fühlten uns von den Mitarbeitern freundlich betreut, sofern das nötig war. Das Zimmer zur Straße war laut. Es gab aber Oropax.
- Mads (10/5): Et dejligt ophold på et lille og meget hyggeligt hotel. - Beliggenheden midt i det spanske kvarter, det meget venlige personale, en god morgenmad og et deluxe dobbeltværelse med en stor terrasse til. Det var pengene værd (2400 kr per nat for to personer). Man skal være forberedt på at bo midt i et meget livligt og støjende kvarter, som går meget sent i seng.

Central, not expensive, rooms not larger than they need to be, but with desk space for laptops, and a well equipped bathroom and good shower. Soundproofing good. A generous breakfast selection. Front desk staff helpful. A hotel to return to.

Plussaa oli 24h kahviautomaatti, lisäksi tarjolla oli pientä syötävää. Hyvänkokoinen huone. Huoneessa oma terassi oli tosi kiva. Luonnonvaloa huoneeseen tuli ainoastaan terassin oven ollessa auki, huoneessa ei ollut kunnon ikkunaa.

- BerylStaines (10/5): Short break in Naples - Warm welcome at reception, in fact, all the staff were friendly. Our room number 44 was on the top floor, so very handy being able to use the lift. Comfortable bed and great shower with enough hanging space and storage for a few days. Great choice at breakfast, and a coffee machine which is available all day. Lovely, nice touches everywhere with a nod to the history of the building. Many good restaurants close by. Ideal location for seeing all the sights. So good to escape back into the hotel after a busy day sightseeing and enjoy a quiet drink on the terrace.

- IainSM (8/5): Quaint Hotel in the Old Town - Spent 5 nights here and couldn't fault the hotel in any way. It's centrally located in the Spanish Quarter which is ideal for exploring and shopping. Not far from the port and metro stations should you wish to explore further afield. I had a single room which was above the busy street outside. However, due to the double glazing there was very little noise getting into the room. The room itself was compact, as described, but has everything you need. Bed was comfortable and room air conditioning very effective. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and staff continually check that nothing has run out or needs replaced. The only thing to call out is that the dining area is quite small and at busy times guests may need to wait for a table becoming available. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if I go to Naples.

- patijarzombek (10/5): Great location, perfect for a short city trip - We stayed at Hotel Il Convento for a short trip and overall had a very good experience. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Naples, which made it very easy to explore the city on foot. At the same time, the hotel itself felt calm and a bit removed from the busiest and most crowded streets, which we really appreciated. The room was clean and well maintained, and everything we needed for a few days was available. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt authentic and welcoming. Naples itself can be quite busy and chaotic, so having a hotel like this as a base made a big difference for us. It’s a great option for a short stay if you want to experience the city but still have a comfortable place to come back to.

Типичный итальянский отель с маленькими но чистыми номерами. Персонал отеля очень приветлив и отзывчив к просьбам. Помогли нам забронировать прекрасный ресторан. Мы попали на Пасху, поэтому цены на проживание были завышены, а народу в городе было очень очень много. Зато вход в многие музеи был бесплатным.

The only thing was cleaning lady came straight in to the room before we had the chance to say not now. Tips, do not disturb sign to hang up or wait for an answer. After the incident it did not happen again. I would strongly recommend!

The triple paned windows blocked out all noise and the centrality of Il Convento permits one to exit into the lively, holy streets of Naples. We had rooms 42 and 16. Both rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff at the inn are the best of hosts! Nello, Luka, Maria, and Umberto- who gave us excellent dinner recommendations. Breakfast is varied, plentiful and pastries/cappuccinos are available 24 hours. Be sure to stop for a blessing from the sisters of St Francesca (a 17th c saint who cured plague victims), her shrine is located directly across the street.

- Marina (10/5): - We had a great stay at this hotel! The location is excellent — very authentic and full of local charm, which made our experience in Naples even more special. The mattresses were very comfortable, and we had a really good night’s sleep. It’s a pity we only stayed for one night! We would definitely choose to stay here again when we return to Naples. It’s worth noting that the parking is located a short walk from the hotel, but it didn’t cause us any inconvenience at all.

- László (9/5): - If you are looking for accommodation in the Quartieri Spagnoli, you probably want an authentic Neapolitan atmosphere, which you can enjoy perfectly by staying in this hotel. Here you feel like you are in the very centre, in the madly beating heart of the city. Countless attractions are within easy walking distance, there are even more shops, and it is also great from public transport's aspect. I fell in love with the room almost immediately; it is well-equipped, comfortable, and the furniture gives it a special atmosphere. I always found it perfectly clean, too. The receptionists are all very kind, or I should say friendly, hospitable, and we were able to communicate well in English. Of course, a place like this can't be quiet; but the noise (Volare, oh-oh, cantare, oh-oh-oh-oh, and even the buzz of scooters) considerably dies down around midnight, so I slept well every night. Overall, I have a very good opinion of this hotel, and recommend it to anyone who wants to truly experience the wonderful Neapolitan lifestyle ("Non sono italiana, sono Napoletana... é un' altra cosa!" as Sophia Loren had put it).

Lovely, thoughtful hotel with character and historic charm. Excellent breakfast and friendly helpful management and staff. Well equipped, clean, comfortable rooms. This is an excellent base for travellers to return to after exploring Napoli (ie: looking for comfort, convenience, friendly, personal service and a well equipped room). Not applicable - did not experience any problems.

This is a part of the city we wanted to stay in so do your homework if gritty realism isn’t your thing. Breakfast was very good. Staff very patient and helpful. Two streets down is the major shopping street for Neapolitans, Via Toledo. Metro Toledo nearby takes you everywhere. 20 minute walk to Centro Historico which is more touristy and even more crowded. Only had outlets beside one side of bed. Both sides would have been nice. Everything else was fine.

- MarkP426 (10/5): So much more character than the large hotels - We passed many large hotels on the way from the airport and we are so pleased we chose Il Convento. It is in the heart of the chaotic Spanish Quarter, full of people and noise and scooters and restaurants. Some reviews have mentioned being disturbed by the noise, and yes it goes on all day and night, but with the doors shut and the AC on, it didn't bother us at all. Friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable rooms, perfectly positioned. Nice to support a local business as well.

The hotel was close to a number of attractions and the main shopping precinct. There were literally hundreds of restaurants, bars and little shops right outside the hotel. The staff were very friendly and we out of their way to help. The rooms were a little dated but clean and comfortable.

Oceňuji také skvělou plohu hotelu v centru, odkud bylo vše snadno dostupné. Pokoje byly opravdu velmi malé a působily stísněně. V noci byl z ulice výrazný hluk, který rušil spánek, ale k dispozici jsou případně špunty do uší. Postel byla poměrně malá a nepříliš pohodlná, což se při delším pobytu projeví více.

- TheophaniaSeattle (10/5): Affordable and Delightful - Excellent option in the Spanish Quarter, in easy distance to dozens of excellent trattorias and pizzerias, as well as the metro, Teatro San Carlo, and many other Neaopolitan delights. Both the neighborhood and the hotel made this solo female travel feel safe. Rooms are compact but comfortable, with tiny balconies that look out into the chaos below. Breakfast was ample and the staff were friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is noisy and busy, but the windows did a surprisingly good job at blocking out the noise when it was time to sleep. They also provided some earplugs but I didn't need them. If you want a yoga-retreat style stay, well, you probably shouldn't be in Naples at all. But if you like to be in the center of the action and don't want to pay through the nose, this is perfect. Would absolutely stay there again.
