- William (9/5): Friendly staff, great location - Location
- Steve (9/5): - The staff were exceptional, even before I checked when the receptionist paid for my taxi fare upon arrival when I had visa card problems. The shower design was a bit painful for me, with no screen to stop water getting on the floor.
- Maricka (9/5): Lite, rolig, delikat hotell med sentral beliggenhet i Plaka. Hyggelige betjening. - Sentral beliggenhet i Plaka, med kort vei til Akropolis, og sjarmerende gater med mange, små koselige butikker og mange restauranter. Lite, intimt hotell, med hyggelig betjening. Stille og rolig. Delikat suite.
- Tony (10/5): Amazing hotel, great location, highly recommend - We have stayed at this hotel 2 times now. It's a perfect location, very clean, staff is great. The rooms are all very nice and good size. They have a great rooftop area to sit and have a drink and take in the amazing views of the Acropolis That we went to a different hotel first, and not this one
- janettQ4346HI (10/5): Athens stay in Placka - We extended our cruise a day in Athens. The Ava Hotel and suites is adjacent to the Acropolis and shopping and restaurants.
The staff were welcoming when we arrived. Our room was spacious with a lovely outdoor patio.
The breakfast buffet was wonderful with freshly squeezed orange juice. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!
- E9262UWcharlesf (10/5): Stop Looking at Just Stay Here! - Stayed at this hotel on two separate times during our almost three week trip to Greece. Everything was great from the reception on arrival, to the room (we had a balcony with a view of the Acropolis), the breakfast and especially the location. They also were really good at communicating prior to our arrival as they emailed us there was a taxi strike and asked if we wanted to a use their private taxi service and provided the cost as well. Stay here and you will not be disappointed!
- Lance (10/5): The hotel is very pleasant and well run. - Excellent location and facilities with very friendly and helpful staff.
- arrrdi (10/5): read their review - Staying within walking distance of the stadium transformed game day from a logistical challenge into just a fun easy outing for everyone
- Russell (8/5): -
- Sjöholm (9/5): - Location, friendly staff, nice big room. A bit too hard bed for me (but I am sensitive).
- Tim (9/5): - The breakfast was great and the room very quiet. The garden view balcony was very small and the view disappointing.
- Vicki (10/5): -
- Shad (10/5): - Best Best
- 602Tony (8/5): Excellent location, very comfortable room and friendly and competent staff. - The location and promotion for the AVA Hotel was most encouraging; also, they arranged a driver to meet us at the Airport as we had not visited Athens before. Getting from the Airport to the Hotel was done very efficiently and our most knowledgeable driver gave us a running commentary about Athens's history and key sites all the way to the Hotel.
The Hotel location was true to the promotion being in the Plaka, the old part of the city, and having the Acropolis at one end of the street and Hadrian's Gate at the other.
Our large room was excellent, as well as being fully self-contained. The room appointments were very good with a feature being an impressive bushman's shower in the bathroom and a big, comfortable bed. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed an excellent comprehensive breakfast each morning. The staff were also happy to recommend nearby restaurants for us to visit for evening meals. Being located in the Plaka, made walking around the streets an enjoyable and interesting exercise.
We would be very happy to stay in the AVA Hotel, Athens again.
- Marla13 (10/5): Wonderful hotel, with a wonderful team. It really is a special place! - I cannot recommend Ava Hotel & Suites enough. I spent 6 nights as a solo guest over the New Year period.
The room: I stayed in one of the Executive Suites with a view of the Acropolis. It was beautiful. It had a spacious living room with a cozy sofa, comfortable chairs, a kitchen area with breakfast bar and a refrigerator, two burners for cooking & dishware/cutlery. The bed was comfortable, ample wardrobe space and the shower was great with ample hot water. There was a walk in shower as well as a bath tub with a shower. The lighting was excellent-plenty of lights, light switches, and sockets for charging devices.
Housekeeping: I opted not to have daily housekeeping as I prefer nobody in my personal space, but the housekeeping team were around every day and were so accommodating in providing me with extra toilet rolls, bottles of water, towels, etc.
The size of the hotel means you really do feel looked after.
The location: is excellent. Without exaggerating, *everything* is on your doorstep-shops, cafés, restaurants, tavernas & many tourist attractions. I loved the fact that I could walk out of the hotel and not need a taxi to take me where I wanted to go. I averaged 14,000 steps/day which is good for me:).
The hotel staff/team: without a doubt, the hotel staff made my visit all the more special. They were all lovely, friendly, welcoming and I cannot praise the following enough: Revekka/Rebecca, Maria, Marios, Panagiota, Magda, Chrysa, Kosta/Costa (the evening reception shift who was so accommodating on New Years Eve) & Flora, the chef at breakfast. I know there were others whose names I did not get. Thank you to every single one of you for being so kind, and welcoming to me.
I look forward to returning to AVA Hotel & Suites the next time I visit Athens, and thank you all once again for your hospitality.

- carolinaaA3720PL (10/5): Wonderful in every way! - This is a fantastic hotel in every way. The staff is incredibly kind, accommodating, and professional. The location (in the Plaka neighborhood) could not be better. You walk out the door and look left to see Hadrian’s Arch, look right and see the Acropolis. It is within walking distance to everywhere. The room is large and has a mini kitchen. The closet is large. The shower has great water pressure, plenty hot. The rooms have lots of natural light. Our room had a balcony so we got lots of fresh air. The breakfast is consistently good. The rooms have a nespresso machine. The hotel is small so there is great privacy. It is clean and well maintained. This is not a hotel for spa treatment or staying in your room; this is a hotel for the traveler who wants you to enjoy the city and have a comfortable and well functioning room. Ultimately people make a place and all of the Ava staff- housekeepers, receptionist, servers, management- all made our stay wonderful. We would stay there again without hesitation.
- siennak788 (10/5): Exceptional Stay in the Heart of Athens! - We had an outstanding stay at AVA Hotel Athens! The location is perfect — right in the heart of the city with easy access to all the main attractions, restaurants, and shops. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay special.
Our room was modern, spacious, and spotless, with comfortable beds and thoughtful amenities. The breakfast offered a delicious variety, and the rooftop terrace was a true highlight — amazing views of Athens, perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation.
The combination of stylish design, attentive service, and prime location made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommend AVA Hotel to anyone visiting Athens!
- Muhammad (9/5): Fantastic Stay - Nice location
Close to evert thing
Very quite
Nice staff
Spacious room No thing
- RjessMMM (10/5): First class hotel - We had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights and there is clearly a reason this hotel is ranked so high by travelers.
First would recommend using Free Now to actually get to the hotel. The app is easy to use and it is always nice to know how much it is going to cost you to get here. It is quite a long ways from the airport and the thought of getting to the hotel with American sized suitcases to save some money seemed ill advised especially when you have more than one person.
The location is absolutely wonderful. Close to everything especially the Acropolis along with numerous restaurants and shops. But still on a quiet street so rest was not an issue. The metro station was very close which was important to us since we did a day trip to Meteora with a tour company.
The room was more than adequate. We were able to hook up our Amazon Fire without difficulty. Beds were fairly firm and comfortable. There is a small kitchenette which was nice through we did not use it a lot. Still a nice option particularly for families. AC was great as was the WiFi. Had no issues with either. We booked the room directly with them and there are options in terms of the booking such as tickets to the Acropolis and the museum as well. That was a great relief as they handed us an envelope as we checked in. They also gave us an option of a private tour guide for 4 hours which was well worth it. I would ask for Liana who was extremely informative. It absolutely provided texture to the history instead of just looking at structures or pushing numbers on an audio guide.
Breakfast was included and ample. Eggs and bacon were made to order. Orange juice was freshly squeezed. Finally the staff are fantastic and truly are the reason for its high rating. Very friendly. Extremely helpful. One even waited with us outside the front door as we were waiting for our transportation to the airport.
Would definitely stay here again. Enjoy.
- worldbanktraveler (10/5): Wonderful Boutique Hotel in Athens - We spent 3 nights following an island cruise here and were very pleased with the hotel. As others have noted It is centrally located near shops and restaurants. The staff are friendly and very helpful from the moment we made our reservations till our early morning departure for the airport. We were there over our 40th wedding anniversary and the staff went out of their way to arrange transport from the port to the hotel and to the airport at the end of our stay. They also set us up with an excellent private guide (Liana who was also mentioned in another review). They even sent a list/links for nearby restaurants including one very special place where we had anniversary dinner - and made the booking for us. We didn't really use the kitchen but appreciated the extra living space to spread out after being on a small cruise ship. We have stayed in many "luxury" hotels around the world but have rarely received the level of service and attention to detail we found at AVA.
- Tanja (10/5): -

- serdar (9/5): Konum, personel, kahvaltı mükemmeldi. Fiyatı biraz pahalı buldum. - Resepsiyondaki personel mükemmel ilgilidir. Odanın ara bölüme bakması
- N5456OKmartinr (10/5): Highly Recommend - Great staff. Great room. Great location. Wonderful breakfast buffet. The hotel is within walking distance of many of the must see sites. Near many restaurants and gift shops. Even found a nearby supermarket.
- Michael (10/5): -
- ItascaU (10/5): Perfect Hotel with Great Location and Superb Customer Service - A perfect hotel in a perfect location!
The hotel was conveniently located in Plaka with a great balcony view of the Acropolis. We took some sunrise and sunset pictures of the Acropolis from our balcony and they were marvelous. The breakfast buffet had a well balanced selections of hot and cold entrees, fruit, Greek delights, bakeries, sweets, and beverages. The staff were all very polite with superb customer service. The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job and our room was very clean. The front desk staff were very helpful in our inquiries related to attractions, tour companies, and ride apps. The room was extremely soundproof and we had very good night sleep. The room amenities were sufficient for our needs. We truly loved our room and the hotel. We highly recommend AVA hotel Athens for your next trip!
- Aliciabran (10/5): - La ubicación es inmejorable. La habitacion amplia y muy confortable . La limpieza impecable. A partir de ahora mi casa en Atenas! El personal amable y cálido.
- inna (10/5): -
- melodydS7224BU (10/5): Ava Hotel Plaka Athens - Clean, comfortable, friendly and excellent location! Walking distance to Acropolis, Plaka, Syndagma, and more. Staff assisted with taxi reservations, tours, and local information. Highly recommend.
- Stacey (10/5): - The room was amazing!
Even had a patio and kitchen!
Very happy!
- Joseph (10/5): Excellent -
- Brian (10/5): - Service, spacious clean quiet room, position, breakfast. All good.
- 73careya (10/5): 2 nights in Athens - This is a very nice hotel in a great location. You can see the Acropolis from the balcony on one direction and Hadrian’s Gate in the other. Everything you need/want is within short walking distance. The hotel assisted with airport transport and we had a fantastic food tasting at Ionos. We also booked the tickets for the parthenon, museum & walking tour through the hotel and were pleased. Our guide Lianna was very educated and was a wonderful guide regarding the history of the area.
I did not think we would need the extra space of the suite and kitchenette, but we found it very helpful when we had leftovers to heat or bought some drinks locally to store in the fridge. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was pleasant… not over the top but certainly appreciated. The staff was helpful and courteous. We would pick Ava again if staying in Athens.
We found a rooftop bar/ restaurant at Byron Hotel where you can see the illuminated Parthenon while you have a drink. There was hardly anyone else there when we went.
- Georgia (10/5): Athens Gem - Lovely room and extremely close to shops and restaurants
- Cathy (7/5): -
- bursta2 (10/5): Fabulous Location and High Quality Rooms - Arriving at the AVA Hotel I was surprised that it was one of Athens highest rated hotels on Trip Advisor. This changed when we met Madga, who is just amazing and couldn't do enough to help us. After settling in and enjoying some complimentary bubbles, we soon realised why people rave about this place, the location is superb, the rooms are beautiful & well equipped, and the breakfast is really impressive for a small hotel.
A standout offering was a complimentary Greek food tasting at Ionos restaurant. We had been on a food tour and were not going to worry, thank god we did, it was so nice we went back there again. The Acropolis and Museum ticket bundle was a good investment, the ticket lines are so long when you get their, so it was nice to avoid them. Keep up the great work Madga and team!
- praiano24 (10/5): Clean & great location - AVA hotel is a small boutique hotel in the heart of the Plaka area, close to shops, restaurants & The Pantheon. The staff at the hotel were very helpful & friendly! Marious & Maga at the front desk made us feel welcomed with our early arrival. They were able to take care of our bags, & offered us coffee until our room was ready. Very good hospitality!
- Terry (10/5): - Great location, service and updated facilities
- Kiri (9/5): Excellent hotel - Location was great, just around the corner from all the restaurants and shops in the Plaka, views of the Acropolis. Very comfy bed and enjoyed a welcome drink on arrival
- Anna (6/5): - Good Breakfast. Nice Choice. Good Location. The room was very hot and uncomfortable. We left early.
- Jaime (10/5): - The room was incredibly lovely! The hotel was beautiful and we loved the location. It is on the heart of the sites and yet it is still calm and quiet. It’s the perfect hotel in the perfect location and the staff was wonderful as well. Loved it!
- sd517 (6/5): Not Sure How This Was a 4 Star Hotel. - The Ava was located on a small street that was within walking distance of the Acropolis. The room had a small bath and kitchenette.
The concierge did not tell us that two of our confirmed dinner reservations were cancelled, one because something happened at the restaurant and the other the restaurant wasn’t even open on the day they confirmed our reservation. That had us scrambling to find other restaurants for dinner.
There was a small elevator that allowed us to get to our floor rather than having to climb the old steps.
The women did a very nice job with breakfast. There were hot and cold foods with freshly squeezed juice. Breakfast was a treat.
- FuschiaLeeds (6/5): Disappointing - The hotel is in a great location in Plaka in a quiet street and next to great restaurants, it’s not far to walk to all the sites. The staff at reception were friendly and very helpful.
Our room was old fashioned, dated and in need of a bit of TLC, although it was clean.
Breakfast was a disgrace. Tinned fruit salad. No fresh food to order. Pre cooked omelette pieces, “bacon” and fried eggs in a Bain Marie that were cold. Worst breakfast I have had in a hotel in a very long time.
Would not return
- R6821EQkathyb (10/5): Ava Hotel Athens receives 5 Stars from Me! - The Ava Hotel had an old-world charm to it from the time you opened up the beautiful front doors. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect right in the middle of shops and restaurants but on a side street, so you didn't feel the hustle of the Center. Every were you look you saw the history of Athens. The rooms were spacious and elegant. Enjoyed the kitchenette. The breakfast was wonderful. From its fresh squeezed orange to a variety of foods. We were given a thank you gift when we left. Thoughtful gifts to remember our stay in Greece.
I would highly recommend this Hotel for those staying in Athens.
- David777 (10/5): Excellent boutique hotel in heart of the Plaka - Brilliant small boutique hotel in the heart of the Plaka area of Athens, about a 5 minute walk to the Acropolis main gate and excellent new museum. We took the top floor room which looked straight out onto the Acropolis. You could also step out onto the adjoining roof terrace to enjoy your complimentary bubbles overlooking this stunning ancient site. Good quality breakfasts and excellent hotel arranged taxi transfers between airport and hotel and then onwards to Piraeus. Welcoming staff. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and they richly deserve their top TA ratings.
- 778merryl (10/5): Beautiful - What a quaint and beautiful hotel! Centrally located in Plaka with many historic sites within walking distance. Our room with a balcony was perfect. The breakfast buffet was amazing!! Best food and the coffee was exceptional. The staff we encountered during our stay, Teresa, Magda and George were so accommodating, professional and personable! Highly recommend the Ava. Thank you for making my 1st (of many) retirement travel destinations a memorable one.
- Robert (7/5): - Location Pricing, size of balcony and that there wasn’t a chair on it
- Wall (10/5): -
- Harley (10/5): Exceptionally well executed boutique hotel in a perfect location to visit the highlights of Athens - Extremely well maintained and completely up to date on all decor and amenities. Bathroom was exceptional in style and design. Very large living area with sofa and chairs, bar counter for eating, well equipped mini kitchen. Bedroom was very roomy, linens were first quality. The property is immaculate. Excellent location to Acropolis and all the major shopping and dinning streets in Plaka.
- R9562IPthomasm (10/5): Our stay was excellent the location and the staff were very professional the hotel driver staff was amazing - Having traveled internationally for over 50 years the AVA Hotel was one of our better experiences for value we are recommending it to our friend
- robertcH391XA (8/5): Great stay at a wonderful hotel - I would have rated it a 5 of 5 but my screen wasn’t wide enough. Fantastic hotel and staff. We enjoyed all of our interactions with the staff including them arranging a private car to the Airport during the taxi strike
- Odyssey24373401656 (10/5): Clean hotel, great location super kind staff super helpful staff. Magda, so kind and helpful. Arranged transportation - The location is perfect close to everything. The staff is kind and knowledgeable always there to help you. Magda was especially helpful and kind. She helped arrange transportation for us and she answered my emails promptly prior to our arrival that rooms are clean, large enough, comfortable bed, and bedding
- cscoppet (10/5): Wonderful boutique hotel in a quaint part of town! - We enjoy staying in small boutique hotels. We are so happy we found this one. The pictures don’t do it justice. It far exceeded our expectations. The suite was enormous, furnishings and amenities were outstanding. The location of the hotel was within walking distance of many sights and in a quaint very safe part of the city. Front desk staff, especially Magda, were so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend it!
- Norm (10/5): Don't hesitate to book Ava Hotel & Suites. The location and suite were top notch!! - Fabulous hotel in the best location with exceptionally great breakfast and super nice staff. We were close to absolutely everything. The best historic ruins, museums, lively restaurants, changing of the guard at the Parliament, cool green city park and interesting shopping places with everything you could imagine. We even took a taxi to the beach one day. The Ava hotel and Suites are truly perfect. Also there is a yummy gelato store nearby that was our traditional stop of the evening before heading back to the hotel to sleep.
- Smita (10/5): - The hotel was excellent. 11/10 for its location , we do do everything on foot . Great room, good amenities, good staff, good breakfast.
- Michael C (10/5): Amazing location for a trip to Athens - Ava Hotel is in a prime location in Lisikratous. From the balcony of the executive suite, we could see Hadrian's Arch and the Acropolis. Much of the area surrounding the Acropolis is walkable from Ava. We walked to the Acropolis and museum, Monastiraki, Psyri, Plaka, and as far as the base of Philopappos Hill.
The around ruins and historical sites everywhere you turn. There is a small kiosk a minute down the street where you can buy beverages and snacks. For Americans traveling to Greece for the first time, you can find sunscreen and OTC meds in pharmacies (Φαρμακειο / ΦΑΡΜΑΚΕΙΟ) which are separate from food markets.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. It was all great.
- James (9/5): An unassuming hotel offering great accommodation for a stay in Athens - Centally located
Wonderful and helpful staff
Comfortable room and amenities Sometimes had difficulty connecting WiFi
- Janette (10/5): -
- Andrea (7/5): - The location is excellent, 5 minutes from the Acropolis and right in Plaka. The staff were all polite.
The bathroom was nice. There are no facilities other than a breakfast room.
The lifts are tiny and only hold 1 person and luggage.
My executive suite was more like a studio with a vinyl floor and kitchenette.
- Karl (10/5): - Hotel is in great location. Room was clean and well
Outfitted. Staff was very courteous and helpful.
- Kishan (7/5): - Room was spacious, facilities were clean and worked well, located very centrally in Athens, staff were helpful and attentive. The heating control in the room was locked, I wanted it warmer however it was set to “cooling” mode and I could not change it to “heating” mode
- jaimemX7004JR (10/5): Clean, friendly, safe-feeling. - Went with our two young kids. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, good (not amazing) breakfast. Not fancy - can probably get a little more value elsewhere for same money - but a reliable, safe-feeling, clean place suitable for families with a nice kitchen to use as a bonus.
- Defeo (9/5): -
- Oscar (10/5): Family vacation, had a great time! - Clean, excellent service, centrally located. Within walking distance of Louvre Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral. No complaints about the property.

- Ian (10/5): Perfect - They made everything easy for our stay. They arranged a taxi to pick us up from our ship, and another when we had get to the airport. The taxi was waiting for us on both occasions, taking the worry out of the travel side of our stay. The apartment was large, incorporating all the facilities - kitchenette, robes and slippers, complementary water each day, air conditioning, huge bed, fridge, safe, bathroom with a full sized shower, two complementary bottles of moscato, laundry service, a lift, room service (if required), 24 hour reception, friendly helpful staff and of course maps and advice. The apartment was well located. Five minute walk to the Acropolis. It was just what we needed.
Thank you guys

- Yamile (10/5): - Is in the center of the historical area, plus near to all restaurants and shops , everything walkable.
- Sarah (10/5): - Ava was a fantastic stay in Athens. It was surprisingly quiet, walking distance from lots of amazing places and very clean. The breakfast was fantastic and we would gladly stay here again.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Ionut (10/5): - Excellent hotel in Placa… minutes from all the historic places. Probably the hotel where emperor Hadrian would have used when visiting Athens.
- srinivasum2019 (8/5): All about the location - Ava was an ideal location for us because of its close proximity to everything. We had two suites which were a good size. The hotel was helpful in making dinner reservations and arranging transport from the port and to the airport.
Check in process was slow and housekeeping had to be called at 3 pm to clean the rooms. Elevator is small so transporting bags was hard.
Overall worked well for us because of the location,
- Coupletouring (10/5): Look no further for a beautiful hotel in Athens. - Ava Hotel made our stay in Athens wonderful. It is situated in Plaka right in the middle of the city, the shops and the ancient sites. You can see Hadrian’s Arch on one side and the Acropolis in the other. The suite we had on the ground floor was well set out and roomy with a pretty courtyard outside. The included breakfast was beautiful with a big range of food. The receptionist was so helpful giving us very good directions in our walks to all the attractions. They also contacted us to arrange a taxi from the airport and waited up late to greet us from our late night flight.
- Renosparty (10/5): LOCATION LOCATION - Fantastic hotel, clean, modern large room.
Great complete buffet breakfast.
Steps from shopping, restaurants' and the sites. Free Wi-Fi.
Walking to Colesseum, changing of the guard and Olympic stadium is close and easy.
Staff friendly and helpful. This is a TEN!
- Oscar (10/5): Had a pleasant experience, the hotel is run perfectly. - Great place! Proximity to all attractions!

- Monica (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was lovely and very helpful. The location was ideal.
- 956barbb (10/5): Fabulous hotel and location! - Wonderful hotel! Location is perfect- on a quiet street a few steps away from everything. Rooms were good sized and very clean. Service was great. And breakfast and included! We were with my sons family and there room had 1 shower and 1 tub!I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Athens !
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect. We were within easy walking distance to everything you would want to see in Athens. the hotel is located in the Plakka (historic area). There were many wonderful restaurants close by and we could walk to the Acropolis and other sites. It was a pleasure to not have to spend time figuring out transportation. Our room had a kitchenette and an outdoor patio with a bistro table. Perfect for morning coffee and afternoon wine. There was not view other than the patio but we spent most of our time exploring Athens.
- Lauri (10/5): Wonderful stay - Clean, comfortable and wonderful staff.
Breakfast was great.
Location fantastic. Within walking distance to Plaka, Acropolis and many fine restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
- Joseph (10/5): Wonderful small hotel two blocks from Acropolis - Great location! Centrally location near Acropolis, great restaurants, and on a quiet street. Recommend to anyone traveling to Athens and looking for a hotel for a couple days of exploring and very helpful staff. Will stay here again when we come back to Athens.
- TravelerTNNM (10/5): Checked all of the boxes - This hotel checked all of the boxes for us. Perfect location. Great service. Spacious and comfortable rooms. There is no restaurant but they do serve a very good breakfast and there are many good places to eat or grab a drink within a short walk.
- Z2580XArichardc (10/5): 3 wonderful stays across several weeks - During my trip to Greece in May of 2025, I had 3 separate stays at AVA as I was in Athens and also moved around the country.
The staff at AVA helped me with a private tour for the Acropolis, a cruise to the Saronic Islands, and numerous airport transfers for each stay in Athens. Everyone was incredibly polite and helpful. The location in the heart of Plaka is perfect to enjoy the best parts of the city. AVA's ranking as a top hotel in Athens, if not the very best hotel in Athens, is well-deserved.
- M8547DXjohnh (10/5): Great Place in a Great Location - Comfort and location - that is what best describes this hotel. We did splurge for an Executive room, but it was so wonderful to have such space during our three night stay in Athens. The room had everything - coffee, mini refrigerator, stove top and microwave along with plenty of dishes. We also enjoyed the separation of the living area from the bedroom. The only thing I missed here was no restaurant, but breakfast was served each morning, and it included a nice variety of selections. The front desk was very helpful as well. There were issues downloading my e-tickets for the ferry. They called the company two or three times to confirm that there would be no trouble obtaining them at the port, and there was none as promised.
- Alexander (10/5): - Wonderful location. A bit pricey, but staff is most accommodating and gracious. Suite is spacious, meticulous, and has everything you need for a comfortable, pleasant stay.
- Thevarani (10/5): Best Place to stay in Athens - Location - very near Arcopolis and bus stop and metro. We had a lovely time and lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Safe even when walking back late at night. Excellent service by Madga and Rebecca. Nothing
- StephS3624 (10/5): Great hotel for family of four - We just left the Ava hotel. So happy with our stay. The concierge was so helpful and friendly both in advance of and during our stay. The rooms are lovely and very spacious. The biggest selling point of the hotel is the location. Plaka is a beautiful area and you are just a few minutes from the acropolis. Oh and my kids loved the breakfast!
- Stephanie (10/5): - Great hotel, great location, great staff
