- 영희 (10/5): 호텔후기 - 이곳은 시설 자체나 위치로 볼 때 최고의 호텔입니다. 터키식 사우나를 갖추고 있고 욕조도 넓고 좋습니다. 게다가 조식도 훌륭합니다. 특히 아침을 차려주시는 직원들은 정성어린 서비스는 물론 아름다운 미소가 일품입니다. 너무 친절했고요. 좋은 숙소였습니다. 창문 밖이 바깥을 볼 수 없는 구조라는 것이 매우 아쉽습니다. 그래서 좀 답답했고요. 시뇨리아 광장 끝에 있어서 더할나위없이 좋았지만 관광지 한복판이고 매 시간마다 울리는 성당 종소리가 좀 소음으로 느껴지더군요. 그리고 식사는 큰 테이블에서 다 같이 먹는 구조입니다. 혼자 여행이라서 가족이나 여러명이 와서 먹는 경우 같이 먹는 일이 좀 불편하더군요.

- Robin (10/5): - The location could not have been better. It is right on one of the primary Piazzas of Florence and just on the other side of the Piazza is the Museo d’Ufficci. The hotel is run by the family that owns the residence. They are very attentive. I recommend it highly, very highly.

I appreciated the key card for the exterior door so it felt very safe. The staff were marvelous: attentive, friendly, helpful. Wonderful breakfast with candlelight and windows onto the piazza. My room had old frescoes and a spacious yet comfortable feeling. I would happily return. It was a splurge for me but well worth it. Nothing

Sébastien knows the answer to everything and everyone one of his recommendations was superb, whether for food, drinks, shopping or activities. Don’t be put off by the wooden entrance door with seemingly no signs, or the steps up to the rooms, what you find is a wonderful boutique hotel full of charm, comfort and character.

- R0sie (4/5): Lovely area, great staff but If you need a quiet night sleep and more modern, this is not for you - The staff at this hotel is exceptional. George and Angelo really were amazing and did everything they could to offer hospitality and assistance. The hotel is in the most perfect place in all of Florence. It is in a historic space that makes you feel the charm of this ancient city…. However with that comes a trade off: musty, very loud as it is above a restaurant that until 3 am each night there were employees dumping garbage, yelling, fighting, smoking, etc. my room overlooked the garbage alley and I got very little sleep until those people closed for the night. The noise was unbelievable. My room had a very musty smell that stayed in all of my clothing.

The room was large and lovely. The breakfast was extraordinary and Sebastien was a wonderful host. We did the cooking class with him that included a trip to the market and tasting of cheeses and charcuterie. It was truly an excellent experience. Bathroom could be a little bigger.

We rented this place at the last minute because the VRBO we booked several months prior ghosted us and never sent check in instructions. Mateo dropped everything to get us checked in and gave us a tour of the beautiful, historic palace. It’s a magnificent boutique hotel with only 12 rooms and they make you feel like you’re the only guest. They seemed upset when we weren’t able to come for breakfast since we had early trains to catch each day that we were there. I wish I could have extended our trip because we didn’t want to leave here! Also, the location is superb, right there in Piazza del Signoria!!!

- Helen (4/5): - We were in the top floor apartment and it was not very well maintained. It was dusty with very worn sofa, drapes, and bed cushions, and the thermostat did not function well. There was a mirror in the bathroom that was dangerously cracked. The property is ideally located in Piazza Signoria, in a characteristic 13th-16th century building; the breakfast was good, the staff were freindly and helpful and guests were invited to help themselves to alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages in the fridge. These latter amenities were all great but did not quite offset the condition of our room, especially for the price.

- Rebecca (10/5): Such a charming, clean, friendly boutique hotel. - This is such a charm hotel. Remember it’s Italy and so everything is slightly worn. The beds and pillows were great and extra towels provided. They have a mini bar with free waters, sodas and juices and it’s self service. The breakfast was very charming. Pastries, fruit plates, yogurt and eggs cooked to your order. The coffee options were amazing and the best coffee!!! The location could not be better. Best best location for walking. 4 minutes to the Duomo, 2 minutes to the Uffizi, and right at one of the best plazas. Restaurants and shopping everywhere. Mini fridge was great for keeping sodas and waters cold. The elevator is so ao so tiny that we just walked the stairs. Lots of stairs but it’s Italy after all. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and arranged taxis as needed.

The location was perfect- we could come back to the hotel to cool off and take a break. The place was spotless. Just delightful. It would have been helpful if we were given instructions on how to operate the television.

- Michelle (10/5): Be SCENTsible and Stay Here - From the moment you enter the property you're greeted with the most amazing scent. The sensory experience continued with a lovely Florentine room, and a morning plated breakfast served by staff. There's a DIY bar with water, juices and sodas, and liquor to DIY your own mixed drinks. The bathroom was fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body lotion infused with property's signature scent. The Residenza D'Epoca evoked the whole sensory experience that is Florence. Florence is very crowded and traffic is crazy. Fortunately, the hotel is a respite from all of that.
- Bardia (10/5): - Located in a historic building with a world of charm, this unique hotel/B&B in the heart of Florence was one of the highlights of our trip. The only better location in Florence would be insideUffizi itself or at a Medici villa. Each room is unique but beautiful with its own view of historic city. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The family style breakfast every morning is high quality and not to be missed. You will meet people from all colors of life and learn a gem or two from each one. Don’t be fooled by its unassuming exterior, there is so much history, charm, and beauty behind that wooden door. If you are here to experience Florence, can not recommend it enough.
- Michele (10/5): It was enjoyable, great location for walking on both sides of Arne. - The location, the traditional decor, the breakfast room and offerings were wonderful. Great staff, friendly and responsive. I would stay again. Not a problem for us but the bathroom door did not close, perhaps shave bottom of door for guests who would prefer option to close. It would be nice to have wine offerings at your bar for guests who do not like the hard alcohol. It seemed only option was to purchase.

- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - I’ve been staying here since they opened nearly 25 years ago. It’s the only place to stay in Florence. Everything is superb, from the outstanding breakfast to the knowledge of management, specifically Monica and Umberto this time. Nothing better than staying in a place where management are locals - they know the area better than anyone. The crowds in Florence, in inPiazzadellasignoria has no control over the crowds.

- Greg (10/5): - Look no further, this is a fantastic place to stay and offers great value. We traveled as a family of four with a 14-year-old and an 11-year-old. The service was top-notch and we felt like we were part of the family. The hotel is in an excellent location and our apartment was great. The place is owned by a family and they understand service and were incredibly hospitable. The breakfast spoiled us with made to order eggs, a beautiful plate of fruit, and the freshest rolls and croissants. The coffee was excellent and unfortunately, we haven’t found as good of coffee anywhere else in Italy.. The staff are wonderful, every single one of them. A few things to note, the rooms are up a narrow flight of stairs, so if you have any physical challenges, this might not be the best place, although there is a small elevator. The staff go out of their way for you. For example, we couldn’t get reservations at several of the nice restaurants And the sun in the family physically went down and out of the hotel, and walked to the restaurant and made a reservation for us. He also made reservations via phone. They provide unlimited water, minibar, etc. we have been staying at multiple places and this one by far was the best and exceeded our expectations.

- Mary (10/5): More than expected! - I really enjoyed the Residenza d'epoca . The location is excellent. It is easy to walk to everything and the Uffizi gallery sits just outside on the square. The room was big and comfortable which was a surprise. The staff are excellent. They are so accommodating and helpful. Unfortunately I missed breakfast due to sleeping in but am sure it was wonderful as the whole stay. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Florence.

The building itself is exquisite and masterfully appointed with period decor, and every amenity. Breakfast was so amazing in an ancient dining room with other guests. The food was made to order and was delicious. The most beautiful place I have ever stayed. I felt like royalty in this place! Everything was absolutely perfect

- Anisa (10/5): - This hotel was unlike any other! It felt like youre staying at a friend or family members house, not a hotel! All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Their delicious breakfast normally starts at 8 AM, but we had an excursion planned and needed to head out by 7:15. They got started with breakfast early and made sure that we had some coffee and pastries before we needed to leave!! The rooms are very spacious and clean, and the hotel is within walking distance to all the sights and restaurants. If we come back to Florence, we will definitely be staying here again. 10/10!
- Anna (9/5): Beautiful boutique hotel in amazing location - Amazing location, staff were lovely, beautiful and cool room with very comfortable beds, hot and cold water tap outside the room, pay channels for the TV, very quiet. Only thing we would have liked is a small fridge to keep fruit or milk for tea in.
