Jednak absolutnym hitem był balkon i widok, jaki się z niego rozpościerał. Panorama całej Barcelony na wyciągnięcie ręki – od porannej kawy aż po nocne, rozświetlone miasto. Coś pięknego! Z całą pewnością wrócę tu przy kolejnej wizycie. Gorąco polecam!

Old stone entrance and metal lift to the second floor. Room was comfortable with en suite and small balcony. Room was cleaned and bed made every day. Breakfast was adequate.

• harold craig (10/5): Very comfortable historic hotel with super staff in good location - The free breakfast was very good, and coffee was available at other times. Since the hotel is part of a historic building with private residences, it was very quiet for sleeping. The staff was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They not only called a taxi to the airport for me, but the taxi company called back and confirmed the taxi had arrived before I went down to meet it. The location is very good for going either to the Old Town, La Rambla or the University area. The address and entrance to the hotel are not easy to find after dark. Do not hesitate to use the light of your phone to show clearly which unit number one should press for the hotel. As warned, the antique lift is somewhat temperamental, Do be SURE that the metal outer door does fully close.
• Mimi (9/5): Hostal Girona was a great base for us during our Barcelona visit. - The breakfast was fantastic here with incredible variety and quality! Our room was super spacious and clean. It was a little confusing to find the check-in to the hostal, but once we checked-in at the front desk, we were super satisfied with our stay here.

Clean common toilets and large common shower too if don’t want to use the one in the bedroom. Great breakfast, staff is friendly location is the best. Super well connected, quiet and lovely neighbourhood

The bed was really comfortable and I appreciated the number of towels I was given without needing to ask for more. The room itself was quite small but I was staying alone so it was not a problem but a little difficult to navigate with a suitcase.

• Gatta (10/5): Ottimo - Consigliatissimo per chi vuole visitare Barcellona poiché la posizione é strategica per tutte le attrazioni della cittá. Edificio storico di fine ‘800 molto suggestivo per le architetture e gli arredi. La nostra camera non era grande, ma ben organizzata e confortevole con bagno in camera e con buoni impianti. Unica pecca la finestra che dava su un piccolissimo cortile ed era vicinissima alle finestre delle altre stanze con tutti i nessi e connessi. Colazione molto buona, varia e con prodotti di qualità, ma le bevande calde erano fornite da un distributore. Sono sicuramente da provare la tortilla e i salumi e formaggi offerti.
• A. Humm (8/5): We enjoyed the hotel and our stay, and can recommend it. - We arrived early from the cruise port and did not expect the room to be available. We stored the luggage and sat in the small lounge area. My friend was very tired and slept on the wooden bench for about an hour. The lady at the front invited us to have coffee and relax. They gave us the first room that became clean and available. The Hotel is located in a neighborhood above a Technical University, it was quiet. Access was via a bell at the huge wooden door and a vintage elevator. The decor was nice, retro like mixed in with modern and vintage furniture. It is bright and clean. We watched the breakfast buffet attendant clean up after breakfast and she was very detail oriented and I could not do better in my own home. Our room was bright and clean, with a small bathroom. Breakfast buffet was good, typical for the region. The chairs and tables in the lounge/dining area are very small. There are no comfortable chairs to lounge in or sit and read a book. A few chairs were low, difficult to get out of for a senior, and we wished for a little more seating comfort. The bathroom in our room flushed very loud with a big bang, would wake one up during the night. We would choose the hotel again for its location, cleanliness, and uniqueness.

J'ai été réveillée a 6h30 par les personnes qui mettent en place le petit déjeuner, sans aucunes discrétion dutout, en parlant fort, en rigolant, en claquant la vaisselle et les portes et en traînant les chaises, aucuns respect dutout pour les clients. Je voulais dormir jusqu'à 9h...impossible a cause de ce personnel très bruyant et bien sûre tout le reste de ma journée a été en parti gâché a cause de ma très courte nuit (couchée a 1h30). De ce fait Je ne suis restée qu'une seule nuit dans cet hôtel, trop désagréable tout ce vacarme très matinal. Pour info J'étais à la chambre No 1 proche de la réception.

• Denise (10/5): If you want a feel of the old Barcelona, Hostal Grirona will delight you. - The property is charming and well located, and cared for. It gives guests a glimpse into life in the 19th century. Self-laundromat was a short walk away. Sometimes it can get a little noisy. The bathroom in #4 needs shelves or a small cart for guests to place toiletries ( toothpaste, brushes, etc.). Mattress was a little hard.

At check-in the staff person told us they'd leave us some pastries and coffee/fruit to take with us, but they did not. It was no big deal, but maybe don't offer if you arent going to follow through.

• Curious53288376617 (2/5): Scary… - tayed 5 nights at Hostal Girona with my son for $900, which was absolutely not worth it. We were given room 8 — tiny, no sunlight, and extremely noisy. When I asked to change rooms, I was first told nothing was available, then suddenly offered other rooms only after mentioning friends arriving the next day. Very inconsistent. On top of that, both my friends and I were overcharged for the tourist tax. I was charged 88$ when in fact it was half the amount, the same did happen to my friends. When I asked for a refund, the receptionist ( man late 40s early 50s) became aggressive and rude, shouted ( you know what American) offensive remarks, and even tried to take my phone. It was a scary and unacceptable experience, especially with a child.

Quand nous sommes retournés à la chambre à 10h30 il y avait les femmes de ménage nous n’avons donc plus eu accès à la chambre … nous n’avions pas rendu la chambre donc pas content pour le reste tout était très bien même si c’est vrai que les chambres pour 3 sont vraiment petites
