- Ulla (4/5): Rummet luktade avlopp! - Jag fick ett rum som luktade avlopp - riktigt mycke. Bad om ett annat rum men det var fullt. Dom sprayade med luftrenare men det hjälpte bara tillfälligt. Luktade väldigt starkt så det var inte bra heller. Dessutom var sängen alldeles för mjuk.

- Alina Anngret (10/5): - Die Lage war ausgezeichnet und es ist kein Problem, mit dem Zug zum Flughafen zu gelangen oder an dem 15 min entfernten Busbahnhof die umliegenden Städte zu besuchen. In der Nähe finden sich viele Restaurants und Cafés; Altstadt, Hafen und Strand sind in fußläufiger Nähe. Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig gut- genau richtig, wenn man einfach einen unaufgeregten Ruheort braucht. Sauberkeit war völlig in Ordnung.

She clean everything and only when she finished the clean, she came to us and then we got a room on the top floor. I think we were not a priority...even we were not getting a room where she was cleaning. So we could get the key and she could continue the cleaning...not very polite i think

It’s a little bit puzzling at the entrance as it appears to be in an office block. However, there is a buzzer to contact reception which was quickly opened. The room was easy accessible via the lift to the eighth floor. Very friendly service and an excellent location.

- Heenal (10/5): - Location is very good, within walking distance to Historical centre, Marina, all main attractions etc.. Room size is ok, bit on the small size but for the price it is good enough. Relatively clean and decent power shower with good functioning ac and a mini fridge. Staff were friendly enough ans kindly let us store our bags and change before we had to leave for the airport. Main issue is the walls are all paper thin, you can hear the people in the room next to you and there were some people coming in quite late and very very loud all the nights that we were there slamming the doors. There is also a musky damp smell upon entering the building and rooms are a little stuffy but overall we were happy with our stay.

Hotel it's located in downtown town Malaga, on the 8 floor of a building( never seen this before) and right across the hotel, there is a building with a big drawing of " RATS". Disgusting to see!!!!!. I booked this hotel for six nights and after seen what It was, I dicided to cancel the accomodation but the manager would not reimburse me any money. Called Expedia explain them the situation and they didn't do absolutely nothing but apologizing. My lost was $ 750 Canadians

Didn’t like having to check in and out at desk every time you stepped in or out. Stafff was friendly and helpful. Didn’t realize sitting room was even there and available until after we left. Room was quiet but probably only because very few other guests, otherwise sound would probably really carry.

- Oli (4/5): Cheaper but too expensive for what it's worth - My room wasn't getting daylight and it was so small that it could barely fit one twin (single) bed that was hard and probably just used as extra bed for other rooms. Bathroom was claustrophobicly small. Hotel was on the 8th floor of business building, had to ring a bell to get in. There was no lobby or place to eat. Not sure why this is even called hotel. The location was convenient and hotel staff was helpful for the most part, but they were dealing with power outage so their phones were off and the elevator didn't work. I usually write positive reviews, this is the first one that I really can't say much good about. "You get what you pay for" doesn't justify it here, it was too expensive for what it was worth and I hated every minute I spent in that room. There are other rooms with double beds and daylight though, so this might just be my personal bad experience

Cafes, buses, renting bikes (which was a great relief from walking), the beach, downtown shopping, museums and taxis. The room was good size, clean and cool when air conditioning was switched on. Nice big bathroom which was very clean, and I loved the tub. We had a nice balcony with table and chairs. And we enjoyed having the window open for sleeping, although there was a bit of city street noise, but I didn't mind it.

The staff are fantastic and nothing is a trouble. everything you want is minutes away, train's,buses. ferries shops,site's and the beach. Was that good booked in for the last 2 night's of our 10 day tour and only 4 stops on the train from the airport(20 mins)

This lady excelled in her helpfullness and sheer enjoyment in showing us the delights of Malaga. To this ends she showed us on a map the places we should visit. Upon returing to our rooms each day of our 3 night stay we found the room to have been cleaned and a small carton of orange juice together with a bottle of water. This eye to details is really appreciated. We must also pass on our huge thanks to the chap on the reception at nights who was always cheery despite lack of sleep I magine. Staff here really excell as does the extremely clean room and hotel in general.

Rooms are on top floors of an office building and we had to buzz to be let into the building. No facilities bar a reception desk. They automatically converted to sterling when I paid without asking. We recommend to rent a bike from a store very near by, downstairs really. Staff in hotel very helpful, attentive and polite. We stayed only one night this time, but we really enjoyed it. They helped us also with holding our luggage for couple of hours. We will recommend it to our friends.

Centrally placed in a quitet neighbourhood close to busstation, culturel institutions and a lively streetlife, mostly tourists. Reasonable prices of food etc. Breakfast not available at hotel, but close at a nearby café.

The hotel looked good on the photos and this place was well above expectations. We stayed in room 15 and the balcony view was out of this world, spanning the whole of Malaga with the mountain ranges in the foreground. The staff were really friendly (even after I broke a glass on the balcony) and everything was super clean. Highly recommended and will be booking to stay there again soon. Thank you Hotel Alameda!

- traveler (6/5): Not worth it. - Staff were smoking inside when I checked out (they were friendly), the walls were so thin you could make out what people were saying in other rooms. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was really nice and clean. Air con nice. Wouldn't stay there again, can't work out why I booked it after checking the ratings. Not that close to the airport but on the bus line. It's easy but took a good half hour on the bus.

Was very clean,staff is correct,and I dont know if was for my dates of stay but was very cheap. For the price,was an excellent value. Its a few blocks from old town Malaga, you can walk to almost everywhere. the neighborhood is safe.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A secret hotel in a great location - The Alameda is very well located: a few minutes' walk from the railway station, the ferry and the bus stop. Its rooms are very well maintained; mine was a quiet room at the back, with a balcony. The hotel has no facilities apart from the bedrooms: in this respect, it is really more of a superior hostal or pension; breakfast is provided by a cafe across the road. I will definitely stay here again.
