The staff are so nice and pleasant to talk to and they make you feel at home. The breakfast is very good indeed and served by a lovey lady called Hirut who sets you up for day’s sight seeing. The hotel is in a perfect location on the edge of the Marais district with easy walking to the city, Notre Dame and Le Marias and there lots of good restaurants close by. The hotel reception area is nicely decorated and serves free afternoon tea and cake until 5pm. The rooms are well decorated, appointed and clean. It was a great base to enjoy our Paris get away. Alex on reception is so helpful.

The staff were amazing. Alex helped us get settled, oriented us to the neighborhood, advised us where to find converter/chargers for our phones and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The hotel staff also helped us arrange taxi service for two short trips. Very clean rooms with housekeeping available daily. Loved the coffee and tea available in the afternoons.

Our room, though small, even by Paris standards, was comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast, served in the grotto like lower level was elegant. Not the usual hotel buffet. Excellent restaurants for lunch and dinner are just steps away. If you want to experience the wonder of the newly restored Notre Dame, or explore the Marais, this is your perfect home base.

But, the best was the attention I received from the receptionist. Very easy to talk with, very attentive to my logistical question of moving around the city and quite forthcoming with physical maps and suggestions to optimize my time in Paris. When, not if, I return to Paris I wll be staying there.

- Z763WC (10/5): Charming hotel in a fantastic location - Traveling solo, I booked the "mini", a small single room which was perfect for a single person. Many single rooms in Europe have a single/twin bed but this room had a double bed. I had requested a small kettle for making tea in my room and was happy that they did provide one. The shower was nicely hot. They provided chocolates and water in the room and tea and cookies in the lobby in the afternoon (much appreciated after sightseeing all day). Breakfast included made-to-order omelets. I was told the croissants were baked fresh that morning at a local bakery down the street from the hotel, unlike at other hotels where the croissants are premade by some large company, frozen and then baked on the spot. I had no issues with noise during the night or any time. I chose this hotel primarily for the location and for the availability of a small single room. I had tickets to St Chapelle and wanted to get into Notre Dame as well as see some other sights on the Left Bank and the location of this hotel was perfect. I've stayed at 2 other hotels in Paris prior to this one and would rate this hotel as the best of the 3 hotels. It was charming, small, in a lovely location, and I felt the staff gave personal attention to their guests. I would stay here again or recommend it to others.

I'd recommend it and will return.
- T1782IEannaw (10/5): A gem of a hotel with fabulous staff - My sister and I stayed in this fabulous little hotel for two nights in August. Sadly for too short a visit as I would have happily moved in! On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist. Our room with comfortable twin beds on the second floor was small but so well appointed that it didn’t matter and included tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and had all that we needed. I really appreciated the little welcome gift of jams, also the complimentary tea, coffee and cake in the lounge in the afternoon. Delicious! Breakfast was beautifully individually prepared with a good choice of local produce - no faceless buffet here! It was all lovely but most of all I have to commend the wonderful staff that make the hotel what it is. With warmth and professionalism and thank you especially to lovely Alexandra on reception, you made our too short stay a joy. We will definitely be back.

The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and we loved the complimentary tea, coffee and cakes that are available in reception. The rooms are really lovely, the bed was SO comfortable and the bathroom was really great too (we loved the spray shower heads!). We will DEFINITELY be back next year!

We tried the patio room for the first time, and be warned there are no windows, except in the bathroom, but you do get the private interior patio, well-hidden by blinds and foliage. We enjoyed the night air and privacy in our little air shaft every evening. We barely spent time in our room except to sleep and bathe. We love the Deux-Iles staff, from the daytime and overnight desk staff to the cleaners and fabulous cooks/bakers. They are the true magnet for this hotel. We will certainly be back soon.
- danamitetv (10/5): Shhh! Secret Gem - We love this petit hotel! The staff makes up for tiny rooms (by USA standards) because they are so friendly and helpful to make your stay as nice as possible. Hadid (sp?) makes the best breakfasts around. And every afternoon he bakes special treats just for hotel guests—chocolate cake, flan, passion fruit cupcakes to name a few—yum! The bed and pillow were very comfy and the towels were very absorbent and plentiful. There was plenty of hot water for bathing. The hotel location is another favorite. You can walk easily to many of Paris’ most famous sights. We will be back to Les Deux Iles! But shhh! Don’t tell anyone else so we can get a room again!

The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of Île Saint-Louis, just a short walk from Notre-Dame and the Seine, yet peaceful and full of charm. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly cozy. The service was outstanding – the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from helpful tips about the city to assisting with everything we needed. This hotel captures the spirit of Paris perfectly. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely return on our next visit!

You can walk safely around the area and it’s nice and quiet at night. Thank you for looking after us so well. First, the hosting was so nice and welcoming, all our queries were heard and quickly responded, we always saw sincere smiles. Plus for my daughter’s birthday the hotel gifted her beautiful flowers with personal greetings, that was thoughtful and lovely. Thanks a lot again, dear Estelle, you made us feel like at good friends’ home! The location is great, everything you need is in walking distance and the neighbourhood is full if old beautiful buildings, restaurants, cafe, bakeries, grocery shops, in brief - all you need. The great advantage is to feel like you are actually living in Paris) The breakfast is made for the guests personally according to their wishes, like in a restaurant actually. The taste was perfect. Plus the hotel offer water, tea and coffee (along with delicious cake) in lobby free of charge all day long. The room is small but decorated in a modern and fancy way, and equipped with all you may need. The view from the window was on a cozy street, we liked it a lot. Overall, my strongest recommendation to choose this hotel if you want your stay be the perfect (like was ours).

The location is great too. In walking distance of the Notre Dame, Louvre Museum and le Marais (great shopping area) as well as loods of nice restaurants and bistros in the area. Nice breakfast. So we had a great stay!
- UKOzzie (10/5): After several stays the quality keeps coming. - We have stayed here several times and the staff are so warm and welcoming. This is a typical small Paris hotel but the rooms have all been refurbished. The breakfasts are especially delicious and filling, and Hamid who works the breakfast is a national treasure. The best thing about the hotel is its location on the Ile St Louis. This a mere stone’s throw from Notre Dame and being in the middle of the Seine access to all of Paris’s attractions is merely a stroll across one of the bridges. And it is very quiet at night.

There is a convenient metro stop on the other side of the river. One of the highlights of this Beautifully decorated inn, Is the cooked breakfast. Make sure you're rate includes it and make time for yourself to go downstairs and enjoy a delicious morning meal. If you are going to do a lot of walking and this will certainly set you up for the day. I look forward to returning to this very clean And beautifully decorated hotel someday soon.
- Rebecca (10/5): Friendliest hotel I have ever stayed in - This was a lovely hotel, small and friendly, the reception staff were exceptional. I love the location and although I didn't have a chance to enjoy it, I could see that there was a lovely afternoon tea each afternoon.

Most pleasing to us was the consistently friendly welcome and assistance we received throughout our stay--whether it was with getting warm milk for our coffee or help with restaurant recommendations and reservations.
- andym241 (8/5): Charming hotel and people - As you would expect with a venerable building in this part of Paris the rooms at this charming hotel are compact and a little short on storage space but clean, comfortable . . and cosy during our freezing early February stay. What really made the visit special though were the Deux Iles’ people, starting with Estelle, whose wonderfully warm and welcoming presence on reception made us feel totally at home from the outset. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee and cake and Estelle even organised zero-alcohol beers for me in the honesty bar. Des Deux Iles’location makes it a perfect base for enjoying Paris and if you feel weary from exploring there are great places to eat and drink on the lovely ile St Louis. We’ll certainly return.

- 506kirstyh (10/5): A wonderful place to stay in Paris - This has been a delightful stay. The room (bottom floor with private courtyard) is small but beautifully appointed. Clean, comfortable, and so, so welcoming after a day spent wandering around rainy Paris. The bathroom is lovely with everything you need. The staff have been wonderful - also very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They happily made suggestions for nearby restaurants and even booked for us. Special mention must be made of our breakfast host - breakfast was generous and delicious. And we really enjoyed discussing languages with him. I should also mention that this hotel is in an excellent location. On the Isle St Louis in the centre of Paris, it is within walking distance of Notre Dame. It is also close to metro and train stations. And, course, many restaurants. This is being Paris, there is even a fruit and vegetable shop just down the street. We would definitely stay here on our next trip to beautiful Paris!

- Peter (6/5): Charming usually means small! - Charming room with modern bathroom. Very clean with excellent maid service. The only drawback was the size of the room, especially because of the oversized bed - no room to open suitcases. There was a minuscule desk with a chair squeezed next to the bed. Breakfast was okay with friendly service. Great location!

The staff were really helpful and friendly and the breakfast was exceptional. They even had a daily cake and teas in reception which was such a lovely touch. Highly recommended, I will be back.

- Vacation288824 (10/5): Thumbs up to Hotel des Deux Iles - This is such a quaint and lovely boutique hotel. The staff are just lovely and very helpful. Our room was so pretty and I loved the old building charm. The bed was very comfortable and you could open the extremely large / tall windows that open out to the street. It was a pretty quiet neighbourhood. It's a bit tricky walk from the metro but they did arrange for a taxi to the airport for a flat rate which was great. Lots of restaurants and sights nearby. Thanks for a really great stay! We loved it.

Many reviews say the rooms are small; but we found ours to be perfectly adequate. Coffee and tea in the room. Great breakfast and everyone was incredibly helpful. Definitely will be back!

- Donna (10/5): - I have always dreamed at staying on Ile St Louis and finally got to on this visit. I LOVED this hotel. The reception was so friendly and helpful. There was a nice reception sitting area. The rooms were nice sized and very quiet. The bathrooms were spacious and my room had a nice tub. It also has an elevator. You can walk to many great restaurants, cafes and shopping. The staff all spoke English. I did not try to breakfast, so can't speak about that. It felt like a big hug. I will definitely stay here again.

La chambre était grande pour deux et nos 3 bagages. Le petit déj très bon et frais. Le chef est aussi très gentil. A+ sur tout! On reviendra!
