Guest Reviews
- Eric (10/5): - Everybody was very helpful!
- Reagan (8/5): - Nice staff. Room was a bit small, but that's Paris. Great area, but can be loud at night.
- Luana Y (10/5): - This hotel is an excellent option for those wanting to stay at the center of Le Marais and along one of the main metro lines in Paris (line 1). My sister and I stayed in one of their twin rooms, and it was absolutely perfect and charming. There was plenty of hot water and AC. Additionally, the breakfast was generous, comprised of daily fresh croissants, freshly ground coffee, and orange juice. The staff was always attentive and courteous. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
- Kenna (10/5): - It was a great place to stay.
No elevators and steep stairs but doable.
Horrible wifi
Have to hand in your key everytime you leave the hotel. Weird at first but nice not carrying around the key
- Barrie (6/5): - Well located, close to the metro and some nice restaurants
- Nadia (4/5): - Property was located in a very walks and and easily accessible area. Although that’s the case the hotel room is extremely small, the fridge appears to be larger but when you open it, it barely fit 2 water bottles. To get to the bathroom you have to slide against the wall and bed. No elevator for luggage. I asked daily that one enter my room and has the DO NOT DISTURB on the door and while I was away I noticed my room was entered with new towels when I didn’t ask for any. My privacy wasn’t what I expected to be pushed and when I asked the front desk staff they said they would check and no one followed up at all. Overall location is the only good thing about this hotel.
- Roxanne (2/5): - Unprofessional staff, not friendly or welcoming. Staff knowingly put us into a room with a faulty air conditioner unit that made a loud disruptive noise every 20 minutes and could not be turned off or repaired, Then, blamed us for wanting another room. Beyond small rooms, not even floor space to store or open luggage.
- Patricia (6/5): - The location is terrific with restaurants, shops and public transportation nearby. Alert: there is NO elevator and the stairs are narrow and circular. The rooms are quite small.
Voltaria pra me hospedar.
- Jose (10/5): - Staff was awesome and kind. Great spot and lots of restaurant and close to a lot of spots to bike
- Shirley (8/5): - There wasn’t an elevator for us two old 70’s ladies, lugging our suitcases up the stairs! And it was disappointing that breakfast at the hotel was only for one hour, so we missed it because Sue hadn’t slept well, so we got a late start.
But the hotel was good and clean.
- Charlynne (10/5): - Rooms are small but has everything you need for a short stay. Location is perfect, and staff were lovely.
- Meghann (8/5): Paris Solo - Wonderful hotel on a quiet street in Paris near restaurants and public transportation.
- Jean (8/5): - Service was excellent!
- nathalie (8/5): - Great location. Small rooms and no elevator but comfortable. Basic for bathroom.
- Joaneath Ann (8/5): - The location was excellent for me as the St. Paul metro station was very close. It was then a direct line tothe Louvre where I had appointments over three days. Breakfast was fine, staff were gracious and English was good when my french failed me. The Marais is not so full of tourists and bistros are everywhere. BUT you should know that there is no elevator. If you use a cane, you want to be sure that you will be on the first floor so only have to climb one flight of stairs.
- INGUN MARIE (10/5): - Veldig hyggelig sted! Supersentral beliggenhet, lite men fint rom, rent og pent. Alt helt topp!
- Ronald (10/5): - The hotel was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful!
- Randy (10/5): - This was 2nd time staying there. very clean, quiet, convenient to every thing in the St Paul district. the only drawback is that it doesn't have an elevator. try and ask for a room on a lower floor if you have heavy bags
- William (10/5): -
- Katrine (10/5): Kommer igen!
- Megan (10/5): - The room was cosy but we really only needed it for sleeping. The beds were really comfortable and the room was quiet.
Room was clean and warm. We were able to open the window to let fresh air in.
The shower was great, good pressure and nice and warm.
Staff were really friendly and helpful.
There’s no lifts… which was okay for me but my mum struggled with the stairs.
Location was awesome. Pretty part of town with restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, pharmacies, the metro and buses nearby.
- Victoria (10/5): - Loved our stay here
- Olivier (8/5): - Idéalement placé
Service très aimable !
- Maj-Greta (10/5): Delikat, enkelt, rent og god beliggenhet - Veldig bra beliggenhet i rolig sidegate i travle, folksomme Marais området. Litt lytt ut mot gang, ellers veldig stille. Lite rom, lite bad, men alene på tomannsrom fungerte perfekt. Rent, delikat, hyggelig betjening. Enkel Continental frokost. Eneste negative var ingen heis. Ville valgt dette hotellet om igjen.
- jonathan (4/5): - Pas d’ascenseur valise jusqu’au 5eme étage
Chambre vraiment trop mini
- Ruusa (8/5): - Sehr nette Leute
- Jeny (8/5): - Fantastic stay in a lovely neighbourhood in Paris
- Rebecca (4/5): - No elevator and we were on the 5th floor that was brutal, bare minimum facilities in the room had to ask for another towel as there was only one between two of us. They didn’t have forks for food that we bought only spoons in the whole building. 1st floor toilet facility doesn’t have a sink!? Less than basic.
- Chris (10/5): - Stayed here twice and excellent both times.
- Dominic (8/5): - Simple but really nice hotel in the centre of Paris, but off the main road in a lovely side street. Only drawbacks:
- bathrooms are super small (if you are over 1.85m, you may struggle)
- if you intend to go out late, you'll have to ring the bell coming back and wake up the receptionist (he didn't seem too happy at 3am in the morning)
- Marika (6/5): - Stayed for one night. Overall, the hotel is great. Although I wasnt expecting for the room to be really small and the bathroom too. But it worked for an overnight stay in Paris. The room is really clean, so that was a plus.
- Steph (8/5): - Clean, modern hotel in quiet street but very near metro and walkable to attractions
- Denise (8/5): - Good quality/price. Great location, nice staff, clean. Rooms are very small but bed is very confortable. Got what i needed for price paid.
- Beth (8/5): - This is a simple hotel in a great neighborhood. I was visiting Paris by myself and picked this hotel knowing it was in a safe place. Very close to Saint Paul metro stop. I asked for a room on the second or third floor and got one on the second. So, I didn’t have to climb up to the top with my gear. Hotel staff was always very kind and helpful. Bed was comfortable, rooms are tiny, the sink and toilet are in the shower. I would choose this hotel again, but wouldn’t pay for breakfast.
- qinmin (10/5): - Good location, friendly staff.
- Côme (10/5): A découvrir - Bon séjour
- Thomas (10/5): - We have stayed here several times. It is quirky, safe and in a perfect location. The square is lovely and the restaurants and cafes nearby offer a wide choice.
- Flavio (10/5): - Accommodations were reasonable for a first timer
- Hannamari (10/5): - Loistava sijainti Marais’ssa erinomaisten yhteyksien päässä mistä vaan Pariisissa, myös kävellen. Erittäin siisti ja rauhallinen pieni hotelli, hyvin ystävällinen henkilökunta. Voin tulla toisenkin kerran, kiitos paljon!
- Afaf (10/5): - Room very small and internet service very weak. Otherwise the property is very clean, staff very helpful and the location is great!
- Afaf (10/5): - Location and staff!
- Joe (10/5): - The staff were lovely, and the hotel was charming and clean. We would definitely go back!
- Gayane (2/5): - I will never stay there again! It was on the 5th floor 103 stairs no elevator. The cleaning people left my door open! Thank god my stuff weren’t stolen!
- Gil (10/5): - I TRULY enjoyed my entire week at Hotel Patrik... The location, area is OUTSTANDING... The young men... Ryan, Ebel, Sam, Raymond, Andre.. were Soooo incredibly friendly for someone like myself..traveling alone from NYC..but with limited French vocabulary. The Hotel itself was PERFECT for me.. 63yr old.. but not needing "4star price" or massaging. PERFECTION if you just need wonderful place, best LOCATION..with new friends that can help you IF you are respectful..and have time and patience... I will RETURN next hopefully EVERY year in future.. Gil X Fox
- Helenn (10/5): - This small hotel is a favourite and a gem. Located on a tiny, quiet side street around the corner from Rue de Rivoli in the lovely Marais arrondisment. A 3 min. walk to Saint Paul Metro station. Rooms are small but nicely decorated with modern bathrooms. Gracious and helpful staff make for a very pleasant stay.
- Sydney (10/5): - We had an excellent stay here , the area is great and has lots of transit options. The courtyard in front has lots of restaurants and it is fairly quiet for being off a main artery of the city. I would stay here again. Only complaint is the humidity, the room we stayed had no air flow and towels wouldn’t dry . A small fan would solve this
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice location, easy check in and out, friendly staff. Clean and standard Paris room
- Elin (2/5): - The room in the 6 floor with all the TV gear and no LIFT!!!! for 160 euros, stop scamming people...
- Mr Kishen H (6/5): - Overall not too bad, fantastic location with great transport links, however the lack of a lift, you have to leave the room key at the reception every time you go out as well as it being the same key as the room safe and that the rooms are very small is the reason for the rating
- john (10/5): - Great hotel
- Hugh (10/5): - I was nervous when I found out that this was 2 stars. BUT. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. I fell off a bike and they dressed my knee, the room was very clean and very comfortable, yes it was small but it’s the centre of the marais and the location is unbeatable - right next to St. Paul metro. If I can afford it I will stay here again.
- James (10/5): - This is a hotel in a lively area of Paris, it’s in an old building and I was in a top floor room without a lift so it was a bit of a climb to get up there. The hotel was clean and staff were great- brilliant value.
- jonathan (10/5): - Breakfast was great; excellent location near Place de Vosges; duc de Sully residence; one of the oldest parts of Paris, where the Kings lived, Henri IV, Catherine de Medici, and Princesse de Cleves; lots of history.
- Teona (2/5): - rooms are very small and no air conditioner so hot in the room. rest was fine location is good.
- Laura (8/5): - Very clean and efficient! Easy walk to Metro and wonderful neighborhood. Great breakfast. The room was very small
- victoria (10/5): - Had a great stay at the practic hotel for four nights. Location was great. Rooms were a tad small but it did the trick; I didn’t come to Paris to stay in the hotel! It was clean and safe. The staff made my stay! They were so lovely and helped me carry my very heavy bags. Thank you kindly.
- Elias (10/5): - Staff very friendly and helpful.
- Matthew Dean (8/5): - Great hotel especially if you love the Marais and great shopping / cafe /resto area around. In my opinion the best area in Paris. Only small drawback there’s no lift /elevator so someone with mobility issues thus could be tough. It’s a small staircase especially if you’re on the top floors. (6 is top floor).
Other then that would reco.
- Greg (10/5): - This was our 3rd visit to Paris in 2023. We loved the team at Pratic. Very clean, great location. Will stay again, thanks team Pratic. Greg & Jo
- Geoff (4/5): - 6 flights of stairs with luggage hard work and very basic facilities but great location
- Verified traveler (8/5): Paris in October - The hotel is in a great location for shopping, restaurants and metro.
Rooms are small but very clean.
Staff were great.
Request Floor 1 or 2 as there is no Elevators..... you'll get fit if your above these floors!
But you are out all day exploring Paris.
- Terri (10/5): - Cute place with friendly staff!
- Maria Luisa (2/5): - Bed bugs - terrible stay. No lift our room was on the 6th floor - no aircondition, water pot not working , plug was cut . Bathroom was ok - overall it is really terrible . I forgot my neck pillow but they did not return to think we left our suitcases hours after we checked out . They could have returned . This hotel. We reported the bugs they said they checked and there was none as they said - water pot not addressed.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Reception tried to give me a smaller room - Very old hotel with small room. The reception try to give me a smaller room than the one I booked which the room is basically just the bed. Have to put luggage in the bed.
- Robert (6/5): - Helpful staff, good location. Rooms very small. No elevator. No AC. Breakfast options were only a continental breakfast, no other choices.
- Mario (8/5): You like walking up stairs, this is your place - It was comfortable but the hotel (7 stories) had no elevator which made it difficult climbing 7 flights of stairs after a long day of walking. I had an accident of not reaching the bathroom in time. After that incident I requested to be moved to a lower level for the remainder of my stay which was accommodated.
- JOSE (8/5): - Good
- fabio (2/5): - Unfortunately I book a hotel room with a bathroom. What I really got was a hallway with a horrible set up in a bed on the end. I honestly felt I was getting a homeless free room . I understand I didn’t pay a lot, but that place it’s not a hotel . The people working there was nice and friendly, the room “ or wherever you call a room was clean. But if you can pay 30-50 dollars more… do it for a different place .
- Jeremy (8/5): - Very traditional up to the point of having a physical key for your door that you’re expected to leave at the front desk whenever you leave the hotel.
- Tyler (10/5): - Every on was very nice and helpful!
- Nir (6/5): Great location, very small room - 4th floor, no elevator. Room extremely small, no room for your suitcases etc…
- Catherine (10/5): - Delightful hotel and staff.
- Helen (10/5): April 2022 delightful stay - This is a lovely, small, well-managed hotel in the Marais area. The room was small, but well laid out, nicely decorated, with an up-to-date bathroom. The staff were very gracious and helpful. The location was superb; an easy walking distance to many attractions and the Metro. I would stay there again.
- Helenn (10/5): 5 night stay -late April 2022 - This is a lovely, small, well-managed hotel in the Marais area. The room was small, but well laid out, nicely decorated, with an up-to-date bathroom. The staff were very gracious and helpful. The location was superb; an easy walking distance to many attractions and the Metro. I would stay there again.
- Angel (10/5): - Excelente localización. Atención de los empleados insuperable.
- Carlos (10/5): - The staff is excellent. The area is safe and close to everything you need as a traveler. The room needs a place to organize the guests' belongings
- James Thomas (6/5): Hits and misses - No AC
No parking
Tiny room
Even smaller bathroom
Comfortable bed
Great location
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Lovely staff. Amazing location In 4th. Tiny but modern clean room. Very high up with lots of windy narrow stairs. Good job I had not very much luggage! Perfect for needs. Expensive for what you get but I guess you pay for the location.
- Deborah (8/5): - Best location. Nice atention.little rooms but nice.renewed bathrooms.no elevator,dangerous staircase,no safebox
- juan m (10/5): - Everything perfect. Only at check out was at 4 am and after we gave the key the front desk perso. Make us to wait for our driver outside and he just close the door just because he has to comeback to sleep
- Analucia (6/5): There is no elevator. - Everything was great, but my room was on the 5th floor and there was no elevator.
- Linda (6/5): - The room was way too small for a couple with luggage.
- Leo (10/5): I"m coming back - Clean & modern in a great location just outside a little pavilion of restaurants and 2 minutes to Metro. Economical only because it's small.
- Y (2/5): - DO NOT STAY HERE. Terrible hotel, terrible customer service. The room consisted of a short hallway in which there was toilet, shower, and sink. The actual room was the size of a double bed. Literally no room for a single suitcase to open flat on the floor, let alone two suitcases as we had between us. The power outlets by the bed didn’t work, which meant we couldn’t charge our phones and couldn’t plug in the fan they gave us since it was so hot during our stay. We asked for a refund as we didn’t even stay for a single night but the hotel refused citing its no-refund policy. The following morning we asked to come back, figuring we would suffer through the heat and inconvenience, but the hotel wouldn’t allow us to return even though paid for the week. We ended up losing more than $1200.
- michael paul (6/5): - Great area rooms very small for two big suitcases
