El único detalle es que se encuentra en el 3 piso, y si alguien no cierra la puerta del elevador , este no se mueve del piso de donde está, y la subid está pesada.

- Rommell (10/5): - Lilium is a place I will definitely look for vacancy on my next stay in Roma. The place is decently located. You can walk everywhere, of course some places will be further, but the Colosseo is next door, Villa Borguese, Roma Termini is not even a mile, Mercado Centrale (excellent) .5 mi, 15-18 min Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon. The staff, Oh My, amazing, Pietro, Simona, and Chiara. Simply amazing people and ready to help at any moment. Pietro makes himself available for emergency thru WhatsApp at any time. The breakfast served is highly recommended for the cost benefit and quality. Chiara makes the best coffees, espressos. Cappuccino and the list goes on. Certainly a good place to stay.

We arrived way before check in time began but our room was ready and the concierge Revi let us in early which allows us to have entire morning to rest before exploring the area. It was centrally located so everything was a short distance away by taxi.

It was very clean, breakfast was good, location as well. But one of the very best parts was Pietro at the reception🌟🌟🌟 If we once buy a hotel, we would like our staff to be like him. So very friendly, professional and serviceminded. Doing everything to make the guests feel like home.

- Desiree (8/5): - The hotel is a boutique-style one and is located in an old building. It was very uneasy to find it for a first-time visitor as the reception is on the 3rd floor of the building. You need to ring the apartment doorbell for them to open the entrance door for you. The elevator is on the 2nd floor, then you need to carry your suitcase to the 2nd floor to take the elevator. However, I believe if you are a little familiar with Rome and know how to commute around, I am sure the location won't be a problem. The staff are friendly overall, but not all can speak English well, which makes it a little difficult to communicate sometimes. The amenities are typical three-star hotel without any surprise, just the small refrigerator is basically not cold at all and the outlet in the bathroom is not working. The air-con was working well during my stay, no complaints. The water is euro 2/per bottle in the mini bar charged by the hotel, which I think is a little high while the corner market is charging $1 per bottle. I especially like the ice cream shop across the street, that is the best spot around. There is a line all the time and give it a try, you won't feel disappointed.

- Chris (4/5): - We based this booking off of some very positive reviews for this hotel but left extremely disappointed and would encourage others to think twice before booking. This stay was booked last minute as our flights changed. We checked in to the hotel later in the evening and upon returning to our room from dinner, there was an awful smell and the air conditioner was making a very unusal sound and leaking lots of water onto the floor and spitting onto the bed. The individual working the front desk came into the room and advised us to not use the air conditioning any longer. Despite turning off the AC, the water continued leaking throughout the night requiring us to put towels on the floor. This made for an exceptionally hot and uncomfortable evening. Prior to checking out, we expressed these concerns and were told we could have a free breakfast. We looked at the breakfast and it was certainly the worst breakfast we had seen in our 3 weeks in Europe. This was our final night in our 4 week vacation and definitely the most disappointing stay. As shared previously, we would strongly encourage others to book elsewhere!

Parking was a challenge along with the ease to find the place since it is located in the 3rd floor of a building, while you would expect it to be a stand alone place. Clear directions would help since we spent a lot of time finding it. Staff was helpful and friendly.

There’s an elevator after a few steps so if you’re carrying a big suitcase it will be a struggle as you have to carry it first before you can access to elevator

- Laura (8/5): - Adorable hotel with hand painted walls in lobby, seems almost Parisian. Room was very cute. Bed was very hard though. There is a kettle in the room but only those flimsy plastic cups. I had to beg to get a just a glass for my instant coffee (that I brought). Pretended it was Turkish. 🙂 Not sure what purpose of Kelly was. Storm shutter was stuck at about 4’ open but still could go under to enjoy balcony.

Very, very accommodating staff and a very nice breakfast. I would stay here again. Perfect location for my needs on this trip. Maybe not perfect for a pure site seeing trip but on a long day of walking I made it to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Borgessi Museum.

- Chetstar (8/5): Nice, friendly 3 star hotel - Good location so it was easy to walk or take the buses to the key sites and it is close to Termini station so don't get hussled into taking a private shuttle bus from FCO airport like we did! Many of the local buses stop outside Termini Station so you won't get lost. We had a useful Roma pass so used the local buses close to the hotel quite a bit. Staff very welcoming, friendly and communicated in English really well (our Italian being so poor). We arrived late in the evening and were recommended a very good restaurant close to the hotel at 10pm at night. We were in room 27 which faces the main road and it did get noisy so if you are not used to city noises then ask for a room facing the courtyard. The room was very clean and tidied daily. The mattress was fine for me but my partner has sporadic lower back problems so he wasn't keen on the bed as he felt that the mattress was thin. Note that the bed had blankets and not a duvet. Our room didn't have room tea making facilities so check with hotel staff if you have one with your booking, if you need to bring a travel kettle or book elsewhere. There was a little kiosk next door and a Co-op shop close by. Breakfast was good with standard continental options of meats, cheese, plain yoghurt, cereals, bread, whole fruit, pastries, fruit juices, jams, tea and coffee made to order. Hotel not suitable for wheelchair users or restricted mobility as you'll need to climb some stairs before reaching the lift
- Joan (8/5): Beautiful "Boutique" Hotel. - Hotel LILIIUM was beautiful and very clean. The rooms were as spacious as European rooms go as were the bathrooms. You have to walk up three flights of stairs to reach the lift to the Hotel, and even then the lift is small and tempermental, (as is the staff who mind it). This is NO different than most places across Europe, so be aware of your luggage. The staff is as tempermental as the lift - off one day - on again the next ??? I don't know. They do need signs for the rooms -there is no "do not disturb" "do not clean" sign. Central to Hop on Hop off Bus Tour Stop - 10-15 minute walk.

- CHRISTINA (4/5): Good but not value for money - The hotel is good but not worth of 3 stars. There is a city tax that is payed through our stay in rome which we didn't know about. The receptionist informed us a day before we leave. This was not what you expwct from a 3 star hotel and it is also a problem of hotels.com which does not inform the customers but says "all taxes included".

- Michael (6/5): Could be better - The hotel is no better than a three star. It was clean throughout. Breakfast on the first morning was very poor. No English speaking TV channel. We stayed in a superior room but it was no more than adequate with limited space throughout including storage for cloths. There was a fridge in the room but it was in such a position on the wall that it restricted movement and on two ocassions we hit our head on the box which housed it. There was no room to relax. The room had a good sized balcony but in the month October when temperatures are low it use was limited. The hotel was very clean throughout including our room. The hotel was under a15 minute walk from the railway station, when pulling a case. There was a good number of restaurants located nearby. Staff were helpful except on one ocassion when asked about having English TV channel(s) being available the answer was "don't you speak French". We used the hotel wifi to keep up with the news.
- Dilara (8/5): Cozy little boutique hotel - Such a lovely and cozy boutique hotel in Rome. Short walk from Termini station (less than 15 mins) which is very convenient if coming by train from other European cities or even the airport. Hotel staff was very friendly and pleasant to deal with. The rooms are cozy and really lovely - we stayed in the lavender room which overlooks the back alley so no view whatsoever, but we didn't mind one bit as we were mostly out sightseeing. If a view is important, ask for a room facing the front. Breakfast was in a lovely little sun-lit room, simple but decent selection of pastries, yogurt, cereal, juices, etc. They even have a coffee machine so you can have a nice cappuccino to start your day. This was our 2nd stay here and we would definitely stay here again!

- Gary (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel - This is a lovely boutique style hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for 4 nights and had a room with a balcony which was a very good option. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff went the extra mile as it was my girlfriend's Birthday. Breakfast Room is very nice, light and airy and has an amazing old coffee machine.
- Elliott (8/5): Good value for money - The hotel is essentially a large B&B. This isn't a criticism-- you could also call it "boutique". The one problem it causes is that none of the taxi drivers know where it is-- you have to tell them the street number or "the corner of Via Venti Settembre and Via Piave" or they'll drop you at another hotel 200 metres away. The breakfast is a standard continental, the Wi-Fi is free and better than what you find in some more expensive hotels. The room was reasonably comfortable and a little on the small side but that may just be how hotel rooms are in Rome-- old buildings and space being at a premium. The location is only a short walk from Roma Termini train station, so very convenient if you're planning a short visit or lots of day trips by train. We stayed at another hotel in Naples to make it easier to see Pompeii and Capri, but in hindsight, we could have easily stayed at Hotel Lilium and taken day trips.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Owner didn't seem all too pleased to speak with me. Not sure if it was because she had to use English or because I am young or maybe she was just having a rough day. She said her English was rough and so I asked if she happen to speak Spanish (since that is my second language and I hoped to relieve the obvious pains speaking English caused her), she then seemed super offended and said "No, I speak Italian!" Yes, I am aware you speak Italian- I was merely trying to find common ground to facilitate positive and effective communication. All other staff was lovely and extremely helpful. Beautiful hotel, clean, maintained and lovely. Overall stay was great. I would go back.

- Justine (8/5): Lovely hotel (if you can find it) - This hotel needs much better signage -- it can be tricky to find. It is located on one floor of a bigger apartment building and the sign outside is about as large as a piece of paper. Once you get inside there are no signs showing where you go, either on the walls or inside the elevator. I highly recommend they get better signage. Once you get inside, the hotel is lovely though. It is very clean, bright, and light-filled. It's in an older building and has lots of character. The brunch room is charming and bright with great views and the breakfast is very good. The rooms are small, but perfect for a single traveler -- much more practical than the giant hotel rooms offered by major chains. I highly recommend this place, but they need to put up more signs.

- Claire (8/5): Perfect for a few days sightseeing in Rome - The hotel was a little difficult to spot from the outside as there is only a small plaque on the wall outside. Once inside, the decor was an attractive chic style, and the reception staff were welcoming and friendly. They provided a map and pointed out transport routes and points of interest, and helped us to make a restaurant reservation. The room was fairly small, but fine for what was needed. Although it was clean and nicely decorated, it did need some maintenance as some fittings were loose, and the shower head wouldn't stay in place so it slid to the bottom of the rail at about waist level. A mirror in the room (not just in the bathroom) and more plug sockets would have also been useful. Breakfast was limited, but what was there was fine, although fresh milk rather than UHT would have been nice. Although a half hour walk from the main sightseeing areas, there were regular buses from just outside, and it wasn't far to walk to the Villa Borghese gardens which were a very beautiful open space. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay in a hotel that was away from the busy tourist areas, but felt very safe and was still easy to travel to and from on foot or by bus.
- Lisa (8/5): Great find in Rome - Lovely little hotel in Rome. Staff were great, always friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and cleaned daily in our 3 night stay with clean towels daily. Breakfast was served from 7.45 to 9.30 each day and was simple but perfect for the day. The only slight downside is the location which is a little way out from the historical centre however it is an easy walk or a bus stop is just across the road. Overall if I returned to Rome I'd stay again.
- Mark (6/5): Nice for a short stay and conveniently located. - The hotel itself is very conveniently located, looks very quaint and has helpful and friendly staff and very good breakfast provided. For the price, the room was quite small despite being a 'superior double' and unfortunately the bathroom constantly smelled quite unpleasant, like a blocked drain. Hopefully that is just the one room. Overall, I would recommend the hotel for a short stay, but if possible, pay a little extra for a more upmarket hotel.

Bed is comfortable even though the room is a bit small (I booked the single room). The breakfast is nice and coffee is good. There is lots of restaurants, cafes and convenience store. Will definitely come back next time.

Location wise it was perfect, nice and quiet, but only a half hour walk to the main attractions such as Trevi Fountain. I would definitely recommend it and would stay their again. There is a lift to the hotel entrance it is beautiful and we will visit again. The rooms are spotless we had a room with a small balcony it was really nice we do intend to stay here again. Just around the corner is a restaurant with an outside eating area we ate here a few times the food is lovely and very reasonable.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Pros: Close to a bus route in to the centre of town and most of the sights, and an easy 10 minutes walking distance to the train station. Very clean. Staff were very nice and happy to inform me of local sights, bus routes, facilities, and provide me with maps, etc. Cons: No kettle in the room (although this may be normal for guest houses, I don't know as I normally stay in hotels). The big problem though was the noise. The walls of the rooms are so incredibly thin that I could hear almost every word of the people next door to me at 1 in the morning, and them shuffling about in bed together. Also the man on the opposite side was watching TV and clearing his throat of phlegm every two minutes until about 2 in the morning, which was pretty disgusting and kept me awake too. I asked the night manager to ask the room next door to keep it down, he said he would but clearly did nothing as I would have heard him either at the door, or ringing their phone. Also when your neighbours turn on their shower or taps it sounds like an aircraft is taking off in your room. It's a nice hotel in a nice location, however unless you're a heavy sleeper or have really good earplugs (which I did, and which didn't help that much!) you may find it a problem.

Rooms a bit on the small side but overall this was great value. Although hotel was close to Termini ( about 10 minutes walk) it seemed miles away from the the area on the opposite side of the station which is quite seedy. Via XXth Septembre felt safe as did staying at the Lilium.

Breakfast was basic but good - bread, salami, cheese, cereal and yoghurts to choose from and good coffee! Good location from station which was ideal for getting about. Only down point is the hotel was on the third floor and we were quite nervous about the raggidy lift so it could be quite tiring after a long day. Oh and the gelato place on the corner is a must!
- janice (6/5): Small hotel, convenient location in Rome - Hotel is on busy street with bus stop nearby and 10 min walk to Metro. Accessibility would be a concern for some. It is 4 floors up. There is a small elevator but you must still walk up 15 to 20 steps to get to it. Our double standard room with balcony was very small and access to bathroom was partially blocked by the bed. Only storage for clothes was a small wardrobe with one broken door. Balcony was nice. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Really friendly staff and room was cleaned daily.

- Simon (8/5): Excellent value in an expensive city. - We spent five nights at this boutique hotel in January during our holiday in Rome. The location is about 10-15 minutes walk from Termini station (the central station of Rome), and about 20 minutes from the main archaeological sites (Colosseum etc). There are bus stops within 2 mins walk which will get you to these locations in about half the time if you prefer not to walk. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the property is quiet, and the rooms are basic and compact but well-kept. Our room had a private balcony with a small table and chairs which I'm sure would have been lovely in warmer months. The highlight of this hotel is its continental breakfast buffet. The buffet consisted of a small selection of cold cuts, bread rolls, fresh fruit, cereal, fruit juice, pastries and cakes. A waitress was also on hand to make espresso coffee or tea. Although simple, this breakfast exceeded my expectations based on experience at similarly priced properties elsewhere in Italy.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Charming little place - Hotel Lilium is on the corner of Via Piave and Via XX Settimbre, very close to La Romana, the world's best ice cream shop. It's a fantastic location if you need to be based in this part of Rome, although it's a bit of a hike to more touristy locations like Piazza del Popolo and the Vatican City. The hotel is actually just part of a floor of a very large building. It doesn't have many rooms, but those it does have are bright and airy. Breakfast was only so-so, but the lady serving coffee every morning was unfailingly cheerful. I'd gladly stay there again.
