• Sweta (2/5): Terrible experience, would never ever return - To be honest, not a lot. Up there with one of the worst places I have ever stayed in. The air conditioner wasn’t working. I informed them on the first night and nothing was done about it. Moreover, ants all over the bathroom floor. Paper thin walls to hear literally every other resident in the hotel.

• Filippo (8/5): Ottimo soggiorno, confortevole, in zona centralissima ma tranquilla. - Camera non grande ma confortevole; effettuata pulizia della camera al mattino; posizione strategica, centrale, a due minuti a piedi da Rialto (dove c'è la fermata della barca che collega alla stazione ferroviaria) e a 5 minuti da San Marco. Ottimo il check-in online, entrata con codice sia nel palazzo che nella stanza. Stanza forse un po' piccola di dimensioni considerando anche i bagagli per un soggiorno più lungo di 2-3 giorni, ma in tutta onestà va benissimo per chi si accontenta, anche in relazione al prezzo.

• mathilde (6/5): Hôtel central et de qualité - Logement très bien situé, à quelques pas seulement de la place St Marc et de l opéra de Fenice. Mise à disposition d’une bouilloire et de sachets de thé, d un frigo, et garde bagage ds un hôtel très proche si besoin, très pratique! Nous avons eu des soucis de lampes de chevet qui ne fonctionnaient pas et ont été remplacé après avoir insisté pendant 2 jours. Souci également avec le chauffage qui fonctionnait aléatoirement (et en novembre il peut faire froid!) Ms en insistant tous ces petits désagréments ont été résolus, merci! Pensez à prendre des boules quies: l’hôtel donne sur une rue calme ms tout est proche à Venise et les bruits nocturnes peuvent être dérangeants.

Wir würden diese Unterkunft definiti - Die zentrale Lage und das Zimmer 106 haben uns sehr gefallen. Die Wände sind etwas hellhörig, und die Strasse unter dem Fenster wird morgens ab etwa 7 Uhr lebhafter. Wer sehr geräuschempfindlich ist, sollte das vielleicht berücksichtigen.

• Emrith (8/5): Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Casa Alla Fenice, we felt safe here and the nights were quiet and peaceful, no noises or - The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. They provided shampoo and conditioner and a pair of indoor bed slippers. Excellent location as it a short walk from Sant Angelo Vaparetto stop, about 10 minutes with luggage. We stayed on the main floor which is good as there were no elevator and it would have been a challenge to haul the luggage up the stairs. At the end of the alley, you could see the Gondolas as they went by with the guests. About a 15 minutes walk to Rialto bridge and San Marco Square..Good location! Price was good for the location. There is no direct reception at this property. You would have to walk around the corner about 8 minutes to the sister property if there are issues. Thank goodness there weren’t any except, we could not stay an extra night when the trains and Vaparettos were on strike. There was no availability.

• Holly (9/5): I would definitely recommend Casa Fenice--a little difficult to find--but very comfortable. - Francesca and her team went above and beyond to guarantee I had a wonderful visit to Venice. Always responded quickly on what's app. Arranged water taxi for me that did not require having to drag my luggage over the bridges. Recommened breakfast spot, where to go for Sunday mass, where to get a charger for my phone, and anything else. I had to go back the following week and was totally comfortable calling Francesca for more assistance, even tho I was unable to stay at the property. the only issue was the first floor should have a light on in the evening so you can see where you're going, upstairs, etc.

There is everything you need in the room: mini fridge, water, mineral water, kettle, tea, additional blanket, mini-safe, hair dryer. Shower was good. Staff is very helpful, especially Francesca, she helped with everything related and unrelated to the room. There is air conditioning in room but I didn’t test it. The room smelled of damp but I think it’s a general issue in the city and not about the hotel.

• Bastian CH (7/5): Quiet, charming and convient place in the center of Venice - Located in a very central location in close proximity of the major tourist spots (e.g. Basilica San Marco). Not necessarily the calmest area of Venice, but at night it was very quiet. Check-in was very easy and convenient, and we could easily store our luggage after check-out in the nearby hotel. Thanks for letting us check-in early! There are a strong and bad smell in the room. I'm not sure if it came from the bathroom, but something should be done about it. We had to open the window immediately, but there were many mosquitos at night who came in. Of course, that's not the hotel's mistake, but fly screens would be a nice add-on. The WIFI was quite weak, perhaps that could be fixed, too.

• Isabel (9/5): Contenta con el hotel, cuarto espectacular - Hice el check in en recepción porque llegamos antes de la hora y teníamos que dejar las maletas. Para nuestra sorpresa, el cuarto ya estaba preparado y pudimos entrar bastante antes, lo cual es de agradecer. En recepción te explican muy bien el sistema de entrada al hotel y son muy agradables. La habitación tengo que decir que era espectacular, muy acorde a la belleza de la propia Venecia. Muy espaciosa y bonita, cama grande y cómoda. Baño espacioso y limpio. Agua y sobres de té de cortesía. Ubicación: pleno centro histórico, todo te pilla a mano. El precio. Cogí la reserva con tiempo y me salió caro, porque además me gusta poder coger los hoteles con opción de cancelación. Éste no daba mucho margen a cancelar, te lo cobran antes de 1 mes de tu fecha de alojamiento. El caso es que estando ya en Italia miré el mismo alojamiento, y como no habían llenado estaba mucho más barato que cuando yo lo cogí y me dio rabia, la verdad. Son cosas que nos pasan a los que nos gusta viajar pero no tenemos mucho dinero, jejeje. Eso sí, el hotel estuvo genial.

• Claire (10/5): Offers the full Venetian experience - Cannot fault this place at all! The location was absolutely brilliant - right in the heart of Venice and a pretty quick walk from the pier where boat taxi drops you off. The room was incredibly spacious and beautiful, felt very classically Venetian, yet with modern facilities. The staff were very easy to communicate with; check in process very smooth. I would 100% stay here again when next in Venice! nothing - the most perfect spot!!

I'm very happy to stay at casa Alla Fenice and recommend it for family to stay in Venice. Nearby there are some café with very good coffee and food.
