The accommodation is within easy walking distance of the main square in Florence and the railway station is also nearby. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom, whilst small, was perfect for our requirements. La Locandiera is in a lovely old building and I would strongly recommend it. I cannot find fault with any aspect of La Locandiera.

- Debby (10/5): Would not hesitate to recommend this place! - Everything was perfect for our 3-night stay! Sylvia was such a delight and very helpful! The room wasn't quite ready when we arrived (earlier than expected) and we were able to stow our luggage there. The location is less than a 10-minute walk to/from the train station. We chose our breakfast options the night before and Sylvia delivered it at our requested time. Nothing!

- vincent (8/5): Sylvia is the best!! - From our initial communications to when we checked out, Sylvia was a marvelous host and no one could have been more cheerful, helpful or easy to deal with.. also her restaurant recommendations were excellent. The apartment is close to the station for those - like us - arriving by train, and wanting easy access to the sights. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and there was a fridge and a kettle in the room. The main negative is sort of unconnected to La Locandiera and that is the relative value for money offered by Florence apartments. We stayed in similar accommodation Lucca and Siena for half the price, so you could say the value for money does not compare to these place, but by Florentine standards, we got our money's worth. Another issue I should mention is the current shambles at Pisa Airport over the EES system. We "enjoyed" a 2,5 hour wait at immigration while over a thousand people were milling about waiting to use one of three EES machines. If we were in Florence again, we would certainly stay here, but we would not want to use an Italian airport while they are such a shambles. Businesses depending on tourism need to pressure the authorities to get their house in order.

I appreciated having a small lockable safe and a kettle. Although I didn't use the fridge, when travelling during the summer is a nice amenity to have. Everything was well thought to detail, such as having a wine opener in the room and multiple channels on TV. The heating worked well. Host Silvia was very friendly, helpful and caring. O café da manhã é maravilhoso e o quarto e o banheiro eram muito limpos e cheirosos. Se voltarmos à Florença, sem dúvida escolheremos novamente o La Locandiera! Como sugestão, seria interessante acrescentar suporte para sabonete, shampoo e condicionador no chuveiro e utilizar vidro temperado em vez de cortina no box, sem dúvida tornaria a experiência ainda melhor!

Già dai giorni prima dell'arrivo, Silvia è stata pronta e disponibile a darci tutte le informazioni utili all'arrivo, consigliando anche l'efficiente garage convenzionato per lasciare l'auto. La posizione è ottima: vicino alla stazione e a tutte le principali aree monumentali della città. Le camere sono silenziose, essenziali e confortevoli, con tutto il necessario. Punto forte è la colazione, servita in camera direttamente dalla locandiera: una vasta scelta di prodotti da gustare direttamente sul tavolino della Camera, in tutta tranquillità. Davvero un b&b comodo e accogliente!
- María (9/5): Estupenda opción para alojarse en Florencia - Lo mejor, el trato y atención recibida. La ubicación y la facilidad para llegar también es estupenda. Muy cerca de la estación de trenes y parada de tranvía. El desayuno bastante escaso. No se correspondió con lo ofertado. Escasez de productos.
- Gloria (9/5): Soggiorno ottimo e confortevole - La camera ci è piaciuta molto e Silvia è stata gentilissima e molto disponibile, ci siamo sentite a casa. L’unica cosa che farei notare è purtroppo la posizione poiché vicino la stazione e la notte bisogna stare un po’ attenti soprattutto se si viaggia tra ragazze.

- Naomi (10/5): Loved it here, Silvia was a perfect host & made us feel at home. - It was spacious & Silvia is an absolute gem! Great communication, especially the detailed instructions of how to get to her place and how to enter the property. Had the blue room which had a seperate dining area with small fridge to the sleeping area. Was a great location, with mat shops & restaurants nearby. Breakfast was awesome & we were able to sit and eat at the table. Quiet area too!

- Cara (9/5): - Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Silvia ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin. Das Frühstück war lecker und man hatte eine gute Auswahl.

- Maureen (9/5): Great accommodation and location - The host was welcoming and messaged me the day before to check my arrival time and sent me a map on how to get to the location. It was a 5 minute walk from the train station. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast which I selected the day before was delivered to my room at a time I chose. She even accommodated an earlier breakfast when I needed to leave early for a day trip. As a female travelling alone I felt at then accommodation and the location. Would definitely recommend this B&B.
