• Holm (6/5): Desolater Zustand und Sauberkeit im Bad, sehr gute - Die Tür der Duschkabine war defekt und ließ sich nur noch umständlich schließen. Beschädigung am Waschbeckenablauf. An vielen Stellen in der Duschkabine war Schimmel und schwarze Flecken, weil dort über lange Zeit nicht geputzt wurde. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war unterdimensioniert (trotz Betrieb wurde das Zimmer nicht ausreichend gekühlt). Der Zustand der Einrichtung und Sauberkeit im Zimmer war gut. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage, weil es nur 4 Minuten Fußweg von der U-Bahnstation entfernt ist und das Stadtzentrum zu Fuß erreicht werden kann.

La stanza era spaziosa, ma il bagno era piccolo, con la muffa sulle fughe e lo scotch a tenere insieme parte della struttura del box doccia. Delle prese elettriche solo due erano funzionanti, di cui una però era in bagno. Armadio con anta in parte scardinata, uno dei cassetti della cassettiera senza un pomello. Posizione comoda, vicina ai mezzi pubblici e supermercati, personale gentile e presente h24.

• Jonas (8/5): Central hotel with excellent service - We rented a cheap room for just one night in the last minute. Close to Milano Centrale and the Lima metro stop. Quality of room was expectalble for the price, but owner was extremely friendly and really nice. Made us feel very welcome. Would book again.

• Jean (8/5): - Staff was nice. The room was large and clean. The lobby is small, and parts smelled like cigarette smoke. Our room had a small balcony overlooking a nothing-to-see courtyard. We left the french doors open overnight and smoke wafted through the window when the guy downstairs (or someone else?) was smoking (we were one floor above the reception desk). You do need to leave the key with the reception desk when you go out, and there is no safe in the room though. Overall the place was nice, but nothing to write home about.

Personnel agréable. Merci de nous avoir garder nos bagages jusqu'à 14h le jour de notre départ. Bonne literie Bonne insonorisation du trafic routier. Dommage que notre chambre était à côté de la réception et salle de petit déjeuner : donc nuisances sonores matinales. Pas de terrasse comme promis dans le descriptif !

• Martin (10/5): - Gefallen hat uns insbesondere die Lage dieser Unterkunft. Die berühmte Einkaufsstraße von Mailand (Buenos Aires Street) mit seinen vielen Geschäften ist direkt in der Nähe. Außerdem sind auch viele Restaurants in der Nähe von diesem Hotel. Die U-Bahnstation "Lima" ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar und vier Stationen weiter ist man beim Mailänder Dom. Unser Zimmer war außerdem recht groß und das Personal ist sehr freundlich.
• Borislava (10/5): On the shopping street Corso Buenos Aires - Very convenient for the shopping area. Pizza, bar and Osteria next to the hotel, lovely staff. This is 4th time we are using this hotel and next time we will book it again :). It's very based, but on very convenient location, close to the central station, to the subway station Lima and for shopping.

The reception is 24h so it is possible to check in even late (we checked in at 21h). very nice and kind staff. This is our second time in this hotel and for our next trip if it is available we will book again.

Nuestra habitación estaba junto la Recepción/cafetería, por lo que conciliar el sueño se hizo algo difícil con el ruido de la televisión y de la gente que realizaba el Check-out / Check-in. La habitación estaba limpia y era espaciosa, sin embargo, la mampara de la ducha era relativamente pequeña y era complicado ducharse. Además, el inodoro estaba conectado a un dispositivo que al tirar de la cisterna producía un ruido espantoso y que se alargaba fácilmente durante 2 minutos.

They don’t have elevators, so we have to go with 4 luggage up stair by ourselves, they don’t have AC!!!! The carpets are horribles and old!.... mr Angelo was the best helper ever!!
• Verified traveler (4/5): Good location, not so good rooms - The staff that checked us in were lovely and friendly. The hotel is very close to central station which was great for us. Unfortunately the room was very disappointing. The floorboards creaked so loudly that it was impossible to walk around without waking the children up. The bathroom was separate which we were expecting, but this was just one room with one toilet and one shower. No towels provided so we couldn't shower anyway.

• Lisa (4/5): Budget accommodation. Far to most central sights - Very budget hotel. Good enough for the price paid. No elevator, narrow circular stairs up to rooms. Very old hotel, needs upgrades. Staff were nice. Very far walk to Duomo and centro historico sights.

They make your room but they do not replace used bedsheet....or towel. Good for one night. Or if you dont care just sleep at night next day visit the places.I booked family room with them. When I arrived they said they do not have family room. They have us one kjng size bedsheet room. I accept it . I do not have time to get another hotel. They told me to cancel room later......for 1or 2 night is ok this hotel.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Average stay - The hotel was a bit difficult to locate though we had google maps installed. The hotel is on the first floor and you have to carry your luggage through a spiral staircase which was really cumbersome. There was no lift, though the reception guy helped us carry one of our suitcases when checking-in. During check out there was no one to help us. No standard towels in room, only few small towels. The reception people were helpful but we had to ask for the wi-fi password, the location of the bathroom, about paying the bill and so on. We didn't feel welcome. The room was good though and clean, beds were very small.
• Simon (4/5): The most budget of budget hotels - You'll get what you pay for at this hotel, which is minimal service and the bare minimum of facilities. The blankets and towels are super thin, the soap and shampoo is bulk-grade, and the bathrooms are mostly shared. Of course there is no breakfast, business center, or any other amenities. The location is convenient, however - as the Metro line that takes you to all the sightseeing in Milan is just a few minutes walk.
• Mohammed Huss (10/5): Very nice place - We stayed for 3 nights, the hotel owners were very kind and helpful, never hesitated to help us with anything we asked. Room exactly like the photos and very clean, we had our own terrace which was very nice to have breakfast in. We had no problems at all of any kind. We're definitely going back.
• Borislava (8/5): - Budget hotel in very convenient central location. We were on the second floor and the wifi wasn't very good. Close to metro "Lima" and shops. Next to the hotel there is pub-bar where toy offer a drink and eat as all as you can. The staff is very polite and trying to answer your needs. Otherwise the atmosphere of the hotel is a budget one - not very luxury, but we weren't in Milan to stay in the room so just to have a bath and bed and relax a little between the trips the hotel is perfect for its price.
• mature couple (6/5): Our stay at Hotel Del Sole - Location is great, close to subway and train station. Staff is helpful and friendly. Room was decent but traffic noise is bad even with windows and shutters closed. Breakfast not included but owner made us capuccino each morning.
• Alexandre (10/5): Very nice people - Hotel Del Sole it's a gem hidden in the heart of Milan. It's located one block from Corso Buenos Aires, a "broadway" kind of main drag with a variety of shops and good restaurants and Centrale train station. Although the property is inserted in an old style building it's well maintained and very, very clean. Anyone will be delighted to meet the owner, Donato and the establishment manager, Angelo. Very nice people and always going the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. I would definitely stay there on my next trip to Milan.
• Dan (4/5): Clean but very basic - Hotel was clean but very basic. Main issue was booking a twin room and getting a tiny room with 1 small double, and as it was grand prix weekend everywhere was full so we could not transfer anywhere else

• Martin (6/5): Well located small hotel close to public transport - Hotel del Sole is well located close to tram, bus and subway stops. It is comfortable. Unfortunately it was very hot whilst we were there and the air conditioning was just not up to cooling the room adequately. The service was fantastic - the reception staff could not have been more helpful whilst we were there. We were leaving on the night train and they looked after our luggage during the day of the departure with no issue.
• Sarah (4/5): Great Location but Sketchy Experience - Hotel's decor was outdated and shabby. Only entrance was via a narrow spiral staircase that was difficult to navigate with luggage. Room was sub par - with outdated decorations from the 60s, cracks in the ceilings & tile, paint peeling off the wall, and a balcony shutter about to fall off it's hinges. Felt very uncomfortable and unsafe as the staff required us to leave our room key at the desk whenever we left the hotel. It was not a good experience, and certainly not worth the price.
• dima (6/5): Family vacation - We (family of five: two adults + three children) had to stay in Milan overnight. We selected this hotel mainly due to its location and ability to accommodate 5 people in one room. The room was basic and clean, the staff was very friendly and the location is great. There is a local pizzeria next door and a supermarket within a few walking minutes. The only problem is that at least some of the rooms in the hotel are essentially on top of a local bar which was (as expected) very noisy until 3 pm.

Staffs were friendly however some of them were not fluent in English which made it quite difficult to communicate. Rook was good size, shared bathroom was always clean. Strangely we have a bidet in our room I would recommend it to everyone.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Ideal little hotel - Comfy beds, cracking location near a Metro stop and just off the main shopping street, and super cheap! Perfect if you're like us, just looking for something simple but comfy to sleep in while you're in Milan exploring. Only problem that I could think of, is if you go with the shared bathroom option, there is only one bathroom. It was fine while we were there, but I imagine in peak tourist season with the hotel full, this may be a bit of an issue in the morning...

During the first stay we got offered a choice of a room - a bigger one at the front of the hotel or a smaller one at the back where it's quieter. We went for the second option and it was indeed very quiet. The room was very clean, so was the shared bathroom - looked like it was being checked and clean few times a day. Had a little sink in our room and a mirror and a couple of hand towels - no big towels though but wasn't an issue as we had our own. Very good wi-fi signal in the room for no extra charge. Both gentlemen working in the reception were very polite and lovely. Also were able to leave our luggage there for several hours after check out which was helpful. Good location very close to the central train station.
• Chris (2/5): won't be going back. - Service is horrible and the room is very average. The bathroom is shared so this is a cross between a hostel and a hotel. Only acceptable thing is the location is pretty decent.
• Summer (10/5): Very convenience location plus great service - We are staying in the family room with 3 beds and an outdoor balcony. The condition of the room is very nice and neat. Balcony is def, a plus, you could open the door with fresh air anytime. It is not noisy at all, quiet and nice. The service is really nice, very friendly ppl. The location of the hotel is very convenience, walking abt 5. mins to two different metro stations. The surrounding of the hotels is lovely, a lot of good restaurant and stores. All in all, great memories and def. will choose again!!!
• Liz (8/5): Good location and a nice budget hotel - For a 1 star hotel this was great. It was in a good location for those who like to explore on foot or using the metro. If you are a light sleeper then I would recommend ear plugs as you can hear a lot of noise from the street.
