• Ákos (2/5): Csalódás.. - A metró a szállás előtt van. A valóság sajnos nem tükrözte vissza a képeken látott tisztaságot. Úgy gondolom, hogy ha már külön takarítási díjat kellett fizetni, akkor joggal lehetne elvárni az alapvető tisztaságot, időnként egy tisztasági festést, valamint a klímák megfelelő karbantartását is – ezek ugyanis rendkívül hangosak, zörögnek és nem működnek rendeltetésszerűen. Az ágyneműhuzatok szakadtak voltak, találtunk egy fekete koszos pólót az ágy alatt. Milyen takarítás volt, ha ezt sem vették észre? Hiányoztak a legalapvetőbb felszerelések is, mint például szappan, WC-papír, WC-kefe stb. Fel van tüntetve a mosógép és a mosogatógép, de hogyan használjuk, ha nincs mosószer és mosókapszula hozzájuk. Így jogosan merül fel a kérdés: miért kellett pluszban fizetni, ha ezek hiányoztak? Vagy alapvető elvárás itt a vendéggel szemben az, hogy ezeket be is szerezzék? A zuhanyzó lefolyójából erős, kellemetlen szag áradt. A hirdetéssel ellentétben nem két fürdőszoba állt rendelkezésünkre, hanem csak egy, mert a mosdó az ugyebár nem fürdőszoba. Továbbá egy plusz ágy lehetőségét is feltüntették, amellyel éltünk is a foglalásnál, ám a helyszínen kiderült, hogy ilyen szolgáltatás valójában soha nem is létezett náluk. Ez komoly kellemetlenséget okozott a társaságunknak, különösen azért, mert emiatt is választottuk ezt a szállást.
• Joseph (1/5): Not one to remember or recommend. - Proximity to Rome Termini train station. Apartment was spacious. There were no complimentary toiletries nor cleaning products available. Only one roll of toilet paper was provided for two toilets. The vanity basin in the bathroom did not drain quickly enough and also had a bad odor. The showerhead was partially blocked which restricted water flow and made showering laborious. The apartment is not bright as pictured on the website. The neighborhood was more like Chinatown. We didn't feel safe during the day let alone at night. The Metro is a hangout for pickpockets and homeless people. The pillows were flat and stained. When we contacted the host on our second day due to not having power he did not respond until the following morning which was only by a text which simply read: "Good Morning". This was very poor and disappointing as the host did not show any concern whatsoever.
• Bozhidara (4/5): Disappointing - the location is good There was a problem with the setup, as the sofa was not prepared in advance. It turned out that it was necessary to additionally specify the number of guests, which I had missed, but if I had booked a transfer for 4 people through the manager, which should have meant for him that all 4 of us would be staying there. Anyway, the situation was resolved within an hour, thanks to the nice girl who expected us, for an additional fee, since we checked in after 10pm. The problems were that there was only one bathroom, not two as explained (one room is just a toilet). And also that the shower in the bathroom was totally damaged and almost unusable (it leaks everywhere). The sofa is also quite worn out and it is a pain to sleep on it for more than one night. The pillows were yellow and dirty, the mattress was also dirty, as was the lightweight duvet. As for the whole thing, only the location is good.
• Ammar (8/5): Very good - I really liked the location and the layout of the property — both were very convenient and well thought out There were a few things that could be fixed. The bathroom sink had weak water, while the kitchen sink had strong water. However, these are easy fixes! The mattress was also uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep.
• John (9/5): Beautiful apartment in an ideal location - A beautiful apartment with tiled floors throughout. A separate bedroom and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped: induction stovetop, diswasher, oven, full size fridge and small washing machine, all in great working order. We added four new wine glasses and four champagne flutes to the glassware. Plenty of hot water from the automatic on-demand water heater. The main bathroom was spacious with a huge shower recess. Easy walking distance from Roma Termini train station. Good selection of cafés and restaurants nearby. The small elevator really helped to get suitcases up and down to the second floor. We were greeted promptly on arrival at the agreed time and welcomed warmly. In short, we loved it here 🙂 We've found that many bathroom and sink drains in Europe can sometimes be a bit malodorous, so we brought some silicone drain cover squares with us - problem solved ! A small microwave oven might be a welcome addition in the kitchen.
• Slavica (7/5): Great host, few improvements needed - Amazing host. Very good communication. Location is stellar, right in front of metro station. Apartment is very good and airy and bright. Plenty space and decent facility. Basic things could be better. There was no soap, dishwashing liquid and no shampoo or washing powder, little toilet paper. Should be at least some small provision for the convenience, we arrived late with no shampoo or shower gel to shower. Also, I would say that overall bedsheets and blankets could be a bit more taken care of / cleaner.
• Sergei (8/5): If I will go on vacation to Rome with friends I will try to book this Carlo Alberto flat again. - The location of the flat is perfect. The building door is in a few meters to the underground passage to a metro station on line A. Coliseum is within a walking distance. Termini train station is a short walk away. Hip-hop bus stop in 6 minutes. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Reasonably quiet, appears safe. Clean. Two toilets. The sofa in the living room was ready-made as a double bed (there were 4 of us). Enough of comfortable space for 4. There was not anything that we did not like, all was fine. There is, as always, space for minor improvements. A microwave would be good to have. The rest is about better description. Check-in procedure: inform the guests before they decide to book that the keys will be given to them at the door of the building by a person who will come to meet them (this is an apartment, not a hotel). Inform the guests that the usual communication through booking.com will link the guests with the headquarters of the company, and they will then reply with the actual contact details (hence the first contact will be slower than usual) - this is important for the last-minute bookings. People with limited mobility should be warned that the flat is on the 2nd floor and the lift is very small (usable but the wheelchair might not fit).

• Emanuela (6/5): Reasonably sized apartment in Rome - Apartments proximity to Vittorio Emanuelle metro station was excellence, right out the front door. Large enough for four people when using the sofa bed The area was a little run down and it didn't feel the safest at night. We had an issue with the apartment (no running water) and the property management group were not particularly sympathetic to the situation. They needed to be pushed to resolve the issue in a satisfactory manner.

• Pamela (7/5): Apartment not bad for 4, but overpriced for 2. - Easy to get to from the Termini and we were met by someone with the keys. The apartment was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable, had 2 bathrooms and a large shower. Also had a sofa bed that was comfortable. Not a bad price for 4 people but overpriced for 2. The location is a bit sketchy on the outside until you get into the apartment, but easy for us to get around to see the sights. We had been to Rome before and stayed in a fantastic hotel within a half mile. That being said, the apartment was a bit overpriced for the location as it didn't have any toiletries other than 2 small rolls of toilet paper. I would suggest that you provide some shampoo and conditioner, soap and at least 4 rolls of toilet paper. Also, the shower was ice cold. Lucky for us, my husband figured out how to get the hot water to work for a limited time. I think that you should leave notes for your guests on how to get the hot water to work when the handles don't do the trick.

• KAN (8/5): 駅から徒歩10分、優しく落ち着いた日本人の方が経営しているホテル - 極小の一人乗りエレベーターは2階から乗るので注意して下さい。広くて清潔な部屋でした。ビルの下にアジア系マーケットがあります。夜間も治安はそんなに悪くなさそうでした。コインランドリーも周囲にいくつかあります。コロッセオまで徒歩10分程度です。この立地でこのコスパなら満足です。 少しシャワー圧が弱かったくらいかな。
• Vesa (6/5): Kiva majoitus kohtuuhintaan. - Olin kolme yötä tyttöystäväni kanssa kyseisessä majoituksessa. Majoitus sijaitsi 4. kerroksessa, jonne pääsi pienellä hissillä. Palvelu oli erittäin ystävällistä. Huone ja vessa olivat siistejä ja jääkaappi kätevä lisä. Televisio ja suihkukoppi olivat pieniä, lämmintä vettä piti suihkusta odottaa tovi. Sänky oli ok, mutta ehkä hieman turhan epämukava. Aamiainen oli kahvi/tee, paahtoleipää, keksejä ja leivos. Hotellin sijainti hyvä juna-asemaa ja Colosseumia silmällä pitäen. Lähin metroasema oli aivan vieressä. Toisaalta myös suurinosa nähtävästä oli parin kolmen kilometrin säteellä, että jos kävellä jaksaa hieman niin sijainti oli hyvä. Ainoa merkittävä miinus on, että jouduimme maksamaan jonkin sortin veroa vielä 3,5 euroa per henki per yö, vaikka luulimme, että kaikki oli jo maksettu. Kaikkinensa tähän hintaan hyvä majoitus.
• ゆきんこ (8/5): テルミニ駅から近い - テルミニ駅から近く便利でした。 日本語で対応できるので、なんでも気軽に尋ねることができました。ただ、Wi-Fiがない中ホテルを探すのがとても難しかったです。 また、エレベーターが小さいので荷物がある場合は1人しか乗れないと思います。
• MYEONGGU (10/5): 사장님이 너무나 친절하십니다. - 최대 단점은 어딘지 잘 못찾겠다는거... 카를로 알베르토 하우스 초인종 누르고 들어가자마자 오른쪽 계단으로 1층정도 올라가면 엘레베이터 있어요 엘베 타고 문 다 닫고 4층 눌러서 올라가면 바로 우측입니다 한국분들은 헷갈리지 마시라구 남겨요 ㅎㅎ 사장님이 일본 분이신데 진짜 친절하시고 깔끔하신 성격입니다. 어지간한 부탁 다 들어주시고 너무 좋았어요 바로 앞에 지하철 출구있고, 에어컨 필요하시면 하루 4유로인가? 포터블 에어컨 가져다 주십니다
• Shusaku (10/5): 安心、快適なB&B - 一人旅で11日間お世話になりました。 テルミニ駅から徒歩圏。地下鉄の入口が目の前。各観光名所までのアクセス抜群。スーパーやレストランは沢山あるので困りません。なのに夜は静か。 オーナーさんがフレンドリーな方で世間話から色々な観光の相談に乗ってくれ、アドバイスをくれます。 他のお客さんとも旅の情報交換ができ楽しかったです。 部屋の設備は文句ナシ。毎日のルームクリーニングで清潔に保たれてます。 wi-fiもストレスない速さ。 文句のつけようがない良宿だったので、またローマに滞在するときは利用させてもらいます。
• Yu Chung (8/5): - Note that the room has no air-con (portable air-con available for 8EUR/night, which we didn't try), the room is a bit hot though still acceptable at night. Microwave available which might be useful to some. The place is within a building (4th floor, with a small lift), so large suitcases might not fit in. 15 min walk from Termini, Metro station is just downstairs, so transport to other spots is quite convenient.

Pas trop loin de Termini dans une grande rue mais calme car les chambres donnent sur une cour intérieure. Notre chambre est ordinaire, mais propre. Le petit déjeuner ordinaire également pas de fantaisie. Notre chambre donne directement sur l'office et lors des arrivées et départ dans la nuit, c'était bruyant, les pensionnaires se servent de café, etc...La jeune fille employée était très sympathique, prête à rendre service. Petit bémol ne parle pas français,
• Kanako (8/5): ローマの中心テルミニ駅から徒歩10分けんないにある日本人経営のホテル - とにかく立地が良く、ローマのメイン駅であるテルミニ駅から徒歩10分と好アクセス。テルミニ駅から一駅のビクトリオ・エマニエル駅からはすぐです。 部屋も広く、快適で、何より日本人の方が経営されているので、旅の話もできて楽しいです。あえて一点気になる点を挙げるなら、シャワーの水圧でしょうか…でも外国だから仕方ないのかも。

Room was very comfortable, clean and hot. Around the house you have a lot of shops, restaurants , buses and metro station at the door.

• Sven (6/5): Personligt, nära centralstationen - Inget hotell av konventionell mening. Snarare en omgjord stor lägenhet till flera hotellrum. Hotellet drivs av en kvinna och hon verkar vara den enda personalen. Hotellet var lite svårt att hitta, jag letade efter en vanlig hotellentré. Istället var det en vanligt port med en liten mässingsskylt som bekräftade att jag var på rätt plats. Väl inne i trappuppgången hittade jag ingen skyltning hur jag skulle gå vidare. Chansade istället att ta trapporna uppåt, efter 4-5 våningar kom jag rätt och hotellägarinnan väntade i dörren på mig. Hotellet ligger nära Colosseum, tar ca 10-15 minuter att gå dit.
• Penélope (6/5): Bem diferente do esperado, mas ok. - O quarto não tinha nada a ver com as fotos mostradas aqui: um cubículo com uma cama de solteiro, de poucos metros quadrados. O banheiro é bom, novo e funcional, apesar do box mínimo. O ar condicionado é cobrado à parte. O café da manhã é fraco. O atendimento é eficiente. A localização é conveniente: perto da estação de trem e de alguns pontos importantes do centro. Há algum comércio ao redor, lugares para lanches e sorvetes. Para um pernoite, serve.

• Danny (6/5): Eenvoudig b&b op goede locatie - B&b is een etage in een groot wooncomplex. De kamer was zeer ruim en schoon. Het gebouw is wel wat oud met een heel ouderwetse lift. Prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding is goed.
• Rodrigo (2/5): Ruim - Cama extremamente desconfortável, quarto muito escuro a noite e muito claro pela manha(não possui cortinas blackout),café da manha simples demais(é torradas com creme de avelã ou manteiga) e café com ou sem leite. No entanto a gerente(e unica funcionária) é muito prestativa.

• Tony (10/5): Nice stay, good location - Overall I had a very nice time at Carlo Alberto house. I had a bit of a problem checking in (the staff is not always there and comes in from elsewhere), so I had to call when I arrived and someone came to the location. Other than that it was good. The place is centrally located, clean, reasonably priced for Rome, and had free Wi-Fi.
• Verified traveler (2/5): A HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE----DON'T EVER BOOK IT - CARLO ALBERTO HOUSE IS AN APARTMENT WITH THREE UNCOMFORTABLE BEDROOMS AND FOR US IT CAME OUT TO BE A DISASTER,TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND A VERY UNCOMFORTABLE STAY FOR MY FAMILY. THEY HAVE AN 18TH CENTURY ELEVATOR, IN WHICH ONLY TWO PERSONS COULD STAND. ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO ENTER THROUGH THE MAIN DOOR OF THE BUILDING AS NOBODY WOULD ANSWER TO YOUR BELLS, UNLESS SOME GUEST WOULD COME OUT. THEIR PROMISES ARE FALSE. THEY CHARGE FOR THE AIR CONDITIONING. EVEN AFTER BOOKING FOR A BATHROOM WITH YOUR ROOM, THEY COULD GIVE YOU A SHARING ONE. THEIR HOTEL STAFF IS VERY RUDE AND OF NO HELP EXCEPT ONE GUY WHO IS SWEET AND HELPFULL.
• Serin (4/5): Apartment not hotel with very old shoe box lift - Service and cleanliness was excellent. The lift is so old and very very small. This place is not suitable for anyone with children.
• Wei (8/5): The host and hostess are friendly and helpfull - To stay somewhere, first three things I concern are - safety, hygiene and convenience. In Carlo Albert House you got three, plus very friendly and helpful host and hostess. Before We arrived I got a list of question to ask, but all of it were answered in the introduction without asking! The restaurants they recommended proved good meal with reasonable price. At last day, after check out, we still got half day to airport, they kindly allow us to leave our luggage in a room to enjoy more Rome attractions. That is part of nice memory about our holiday in Rome. All are very much appreciated.
• Terry (10/5): great place to start each day - This establishment was very close to the train station and the metro was right outside the front door. The owner was very helpful in sharing sites to see and how to get to them. You were given a map which was very helpful. She speaks good English which was a big plus for me. Each day started off with a great breakfast of cheese, toast, meat, juice, coffee, and pastries. The room was very comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. The room was cleaned and straightened every day. Do make sure you get the payment details when you check in. I had no idea they wanted me to pay the bill in cash. I did end up paying with credit, but not without some disagreeable interaction which almost made me miss my train to the airport. Sorry it ended that way because I really like the people and place. Just make sure your have a discussion on payment and it will be a rewarding experience.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Carlo Alberto House. Good location for transport - This B&B is run by Sal and Lisa who live offsite. You need to “book” in an arrival time so they cn be there to greet you. We had a very adequate room for the price and a VERY comfortable bed. Breakfast ws self serve, so there was access to this nd the kitchen are all hours. The metro station was right outside and main railway only 10miutes walk. Very handy for departures. Our hosts were lovely.
