• Santi (5/5): - Ottima posizione, in centro e soprattutto tranquilla. Si ha tutto nelle vicinanze. Letti piuttosto scomodi dovuti alla durezza del materasso, anche i cuscini sono da rivedere perché se sia ha problemi di cervicale non solo il massimo.

• Fabio (8/5): Bella sorpresa - Il B&b è nel pieno centro storico di Napoli, si respira l'anima partenopea appena si varca il portone d'ingresso. Puntualità e disponibilità da parte della responsabile della struttura. La camera era pulita e ordinata al mio arrivo. Fondamentalmente le aspettative sono state soddisfatte. È chiaro che la posizione all'interno del centro storico, contempla la possibilità di sentire via vai di motorini fino a tarda notte. Niente di esagerato comunque o di insopportabile.
• Caterina (8/5): Posto centrale per godersi l'atmosfera caratteristica di Napoli - La posizione è ottima, nel pieno centro storico, la signora Melania è molto gentile e disponibile! I servizi sono ottimi: wi-fi, macchina per il caffè alla reception, bollitore, set di prodotti per il bagno e asciugamani, asciugacapelli, ascensore. La colazione era inclusa in un bar nelle vicinanze. Ci ritornerei!

• Lisette (3/5): Slecht - Eigenlijk niets. Geen parkeerplaats (zou er zijn volgens de boeking) Krakende bedden (we hebben de matrassen op de grond gelegd). Er was op de gang de mogelijkheid om koffie of thee te maken, nergens een bekertje of kopje te vinden. Ontbijt (koffie en een broodje) was 200 meter verderop. Gastvrouw zou de sleutels overhandigen, we kregen uiteindelijk de codes via de app. We hebben haar alleen s'morgens gezien om de toeristenbelasting en de sleutels in ontvangst te nemen.

• Jennifer (4/5): - Room had no air conditioning which was a challenge, the room was clean, and the landlord tried to be helpful during our stay but for me the pillows were very hard and the kettle outside our room for tea and coffee didn't fit into any plug in the wall which was odd and the lamp on one side of the bed didn't work. We were fortunate and unfortunate as it was San Gennaro célébrations so they had a band playing outside our hotel until 10pm and then further down the street until midnight. An important celebration so couldn't be helped. We had cards each morning to get our breakfast at a local cafe which was very nice.

Having travelled extensively this is the first time I come across a hotel that does not provide access to the room after 2pm! On top of it they do not speak any English which is ridiculous given that they are on Expedia which is an international site… AVOID!!!

Accueil désagréable, des horaires inflexibles (faites très attention : aucun remboursement possible si vous n'arrivez pas dans les temps), une salle de douche sale, un mauvais matelas, très bruyant, bref.. Si l'accueil avait été chaleureux.. mais même pas !
• Lubna (10/5): Very satisfied. - We stayed for 2 days in Naples, and it's definitely too short. It's an exceptional city and worth more than a week. The apartment was located perfectly in the center 👌 and very nice . It's very crowded , you need to reserve everything online before you get there.

• Rita (3/5): Very very disappointing - Balcony with scenic view was a Juliette balcony 5 meters from a tall grey wall. Bed was most uncomfortable, 1 bed had bedside lamp 2nd bed no light. 1 large room with no chairs, no glasses in the room, breakfast which was inclusive had to be taken in a cafe 500 meter from hotel 1 cup of coffee and 1 bun sitting in the street with dirty tables. The reception very unfriendly, no access by car and the parking 15 minutes walk from hotel in a communal parking house costing Euro 40 per night. We booked this place especially as parking was available. Would not recommend it to anybody. The hostess should change her attitude and be helpful and accommodating. They should not advertise something which is totally wrong e.g. parking and breakfast and the view. They should equip the rooms with more than 2 beds and a chest of drawers. Absolutely terrible.

Lift is not as advertised - Great location - okay breakfast, they give you a voucher that you can take to a cafe nearby for a coffee and pastry The elevator doesn't function from the Ground Floor, so if you have heavy luggage or can't walk up the stairs, you're in trouble. Very old but charming building. Tiny bathroom and there was a strand of hair pasted on the wall when we arrived. Shower is hard to get into.

• Purvesh (5/5): Passable - Clean room and simple. This is good enough if you are just looking for place to crash. Just heads up - This place is very strict regarding their rules just heads up. As long as you read them carefully and follow them, you will be fine. Wifi was terrible at this place.

When I checked in it was very strange that the person secretly took a picture and video of me on their phone and didn't want me to see. I'm sure it was just procedure, but I would have liked a straight statement about this instead of in secret. GREAT location!

Personale di pulizia poco rispettoso del silenzio la mattina: già dalle 9 si sentivano rumori e parlottii a voce altissima senza rispettare il riposo degli ospiti. Tuttavia, la stanza è risultata confortevole ed il letto comodo. La struttura era abbastanza pulita ad eccezione del box doccia.

• 770luisaz (8/5): Hotel is in the Centro Storico of Naples, great to see everything! - The hotel was smack bang in the middle of old Naples. Great you were right amongst the real Neapolitans! The hotel was very clean, the rooms were enormous with very high ceilings. Inside it was all brand new. The bathroom was brand new, the décor was very modern. You could help yourself to coffee and tea near the reception area. We were near that famous street with all the most delicious food you could eat. We were centrally located & close to everything. Naples is a very interesting city & the Neapolitans very nice, friendly & helpful people. We loved all those lanes & little streets that you could only walk through or go with your vespa!
• Swiss2019Swiss (4/5): Neapel is great but next time another hotel - Reception was always closed. We have staied there for 7 nights and have seen the owner just by the check in. It means in case of any issues(and we had some) nobody helps you. It is a very loud street and due to the badly isolated windows we slept very badly. Location is is good. But we have expected some more service for this price. No WiFi. No telephone connection. Sledgy floor in the bathroom. Just 1 towel for 2 persons. So next time we will take anover hotel. There is a huge choice of b&b in the center. Neapel is a great city!

• Verified traveler (2/5): - La struttura è situata in una zona che definirei più che "pittoresca", davvero pessima. I taxi non arrivano fino alla struttura poichè si trova in vicoli piccolissimi e stretti e dunque si rifiutano volontariamente di passare da li. Personale estremamente scortese e disorganizzato che non è stato in grado di accoglierci al nostro arrivo se non sotto sollecitazione di molte chiamate e con ritardo di 2 ore. Per quanto riguarda la partenza, hanno sostenuto che i bagagli non potevano essere tenuti da loro e che questo tipo di servizio non era ne previsto e ne dovuto, nonostante avessimo chiesto semplicemente un favore e avessimo già liberato con largo anticipo la camera. I bagagli sono stati portati da NOI in un altro hotel come bagagli esterni. Davvero terribile, di cattivo gusto e di una mancanza di educazione fuori dalla norma.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - Beware!!! What was not clear when we booked is that this is not a hotel or even B&B- it’s a suite of apartments within a residential building that is mostly unstaffed!!! We turned up at 11pm, and couldn’t even get in the building!!!! Then someone turned up and we got as far as the locked door of soggiorno paradiso... no one answered the door or phone. Eventually another guest let us in, and it now being midnight we had no alternative but to sleep in an unlocked room. The next morning was even worse. When the lady turned up she told us off for sleeping in the room!!! Then she tried to demand an extra €100 for extra beds- that we had clearly paid for (she refused to even look at my printed invoice)- presumably trying to scam us out of the extra money. And then she refused to move us to the room that we had actually booked, on the grounds that we should stay in the room that we had slept in the first night! She clearly doesn’t care about guests! The Expedia small print says that guests need to prearrange how to get into the property at leat 2 days in advance!!! What sort of a BB makes it impossible to arrive? Expedia should not be advertising this property.... and should put in large type BEFORE payment that arriving is very hard!!

The booking confirmation did say that check-in was at 3pm, but also said that there would be someone at the front desk from 8am-8pm. Rang the doorbell at the property several times and there was no answer. Also called the listed number of the B&B several time with no answer. So we left to do things around the city and called back at around 3 saying that we tried to check-in but no one was there. The customer service was terrible with a rude response. We were told that if we didn't return within 10 minutes, she would leave. Ended up calling back and agreeing to meet at 5 at the property. The stay was comfortable and nice, but had a very unpleasant and inconvenient start.

• Giammarco (8/5): Ci tornerei sicuramente - Viaggio in famiglia di 4 persone. La sistemazione è in un B&B nel centro storico di Napoli a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione della metro Dante, la stanza era pulitissima, silenziosa e molto spaziosa per 4 persone. Anche se si trova a pochi passi dal passeggio e dalle principali attrazioni il palazzo è in una zona silenziosa e molto tipica. La colazione è nella pasticceria vicina ed era ottima. La consegna chiavi è andata benissimo, la ragazza ci ha aspettato anche se eravamo un po' in ritardo. Unico avvertimento è che non essendoci una reception fissa non sempre si possono lasciare i bagagli in custodia alla partenza, noi avevamo l'auto e questo alla fine non ha rappresentato un problema. Ci tornerei sicuramente

E' vicino al Duomo e' vicino al Cristo velato, e'vicino alla Napoli sotteranea e sotterrata. Abbastanza vicino allaMetro per spostarsi comodamente, piazza Plebiscito in 15 /20 minuti
• Verified traveler (8/5): Fint og rent sted - Fint og rent værelse. Morgenmaden blev serveret på en fornem café men bestod blot af en enkelt sød bolle/kage og en kop kaffe eller en flaske vand. Da vi skulle tjekke ud var der ingen medarbejder at finde, så vi prøvede at ringe til det opgivede telefonnummer uden held. Vi endte med bare at lægge nøglen og smække døren efter os. Lokalområdet virkede umiddelbart barsk men det lå meget tæt på den charmerende del af Napoli med restauranter, butikker og masser af natteliv.
• Alex (8/5): Hotel in der Altstadt - Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt von Neapel. Der Bahnhof ist fußläufig zu erreichen und die gesamte Altstadt lässt sich so bequem erobern. Das Hotel liegt aber ziemlich versteckt in einer Nebenstraße und man sollte sich anhand der Straßennamen den Weg merken. Das Zimmer war super-sauber. Selbst unter dem Nachttisch und hinter dem Bett (es war etwas dahinter gefallen) fand sich kein Stäubchen. Die Betten waren allerdings etwas hart und schmal. Das Frühstück war übersichtlich. Es bestand aus einem Gutschein für ein Heißgetränk und einem Stückchen in einer benachbarten Bäckerei. Das war aber ofenwarm und extrem lecker. Einziges Manko: unsere späte Anreise. Entgegen der Zusage, dass es kein Problem sei spät einzuchecken, hatten wir dann doch den Nervenkitzel ob wir noch reinkommen. Nach einigen pampigen Telefonaten mit der Dame des Hauses empfing uns dann der Bruder. Also besser tagsüber anreisen. Alles in allem eine gute Location für einen Kurztripp.

• Robert (2/5): Do NOT stay here - worst hotel I have seen - Do not stay here. It is in a sketchy part of town where no one speaks English. If you don’t speak Italian, it is nearly impossible to even get to the hotel to check in because you have to call the receptionist who only speaks Italian. Our toilet broke and the hotel was not even apologetic for it. They seemed to not really care. They are never at the front desk, even during the business hours it lists. The hotel employee walked into my room one morning without knocking. The shower becomes cold after just a few minutes. The breakfast is small: just one pastry and a coffee from down the street. The WiFi has awful connectivity and usually does not even work at all. Do not stay here - spend an extra $30 to stay somewhere nicer.

La porta era chiusa, nessuna risposta al campanello e nessuna risposta al telefono che veniva dichiarato inesistente. Dopo mezz'ora ho dovuto cercare altra sistemazione. Ho provato più volte a chiamare il telefono del soggiorno ed ho inviato mail e messaggi chiedendo la restituzione della somma versata e incassata. Nessun riscontro. Sarò costretto a denunciare il fatto alla autorità giudiziaria.

• Rodney (10/5): Old world charm - The hotel is located in the historic center and it’s all hills, no taxis allowed to enter the center so be prepared to do a lot of walking. The room was very nice and spacious and the bathroom was nice and clean. The only negative is the shower, even a skinny person will have a hard time because it’s extremely small and once one person takes a shower there is no hot water for about 3 hours.

• Deb (2/5): Very disappointing - Very disappointed as we never got to stay at this hotel. We had an evening flight and arrived in Naples st 11.30pm to find the hotel all locked up! I checked the email and in very fine print at the end of the email it said the reception closed at 8pm. Very disappointed that this wasn't pointed out more clearer to us. I was with a friend and it wasn't pleasant walking around Naples to try and find another hotel!

• claudio (10/5): Voglio veramente dare il massimo dei voti!!! - Girando per i vicoli di Napoli non ti aspetteresti proprio di entrare da questo grande portone in legno in un bellissimo scorcio dalle sembianze orientali , e soprattutto , tramite ascensore , di arrivare alla struttura rinnovata e confortevole. Ma soprattutto da encomio veramente la signora che gestisce il soggiorno. Cortese e di una disponibilità infinita ad accoglierci anche fuori dagli orari di check in ed a non farci mancare nulla.
• pierronzollo (10/5): Not purgatory...heaven! - Ignore the street address. These digs, in an old palazzo, are wonderful, with sixteen foot high ceilings, a charming courtyard, and clean, up to date rooms with excellent AC and wi five, and they place you smack in the romantic Spaccanapoli district the historic core of Napoli. You are steps away from the Duomo and Pio Monte della Miseracordia, and a short walk from the world famous archaeology museum. The best pizza in the world, Gino Sorbillos, is three minutes away. Best of all, you'll be in the middle of a real Neapolitan neighborhood, not a tourist suburb.
• CARMINA GIOVANNA (10/5): Bellissima esperienza - Struttura accogliente e pulita all'interno di un palazzo storico, la camera assegnata era ristrutturata da poco con mobili nuovi. La ragazza della hall molto simpatica e gentile. La posizione è ottima in pieno centro, in una traversa su Via dei Tribunali a due passi dal Decumano Maggiore da dove si può tranquillamente girare la città a piedi. La colazione si effettua in un bar nei pressi della struttura. Bellissima esperienza!!!
• Mario (10/5): - Struttura più adeguata alla cifra richiesta. Camera spaziosa . Secondo leggo matrimoniale ricavato da divano un pò scomodo. In futuro ci tornerò sicuramente.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Pension in der Altstadt - Altbauwohnung im 3. Stock Zugang zum Hof durch kleine Luke im Straßentor in kleiner Altstadtgasse (zu schmal für Pkw) keine Rezeption kein Frühstücksraum, Frühstück (sehr überschaubar) per Gutschein im Cafe um die Ecke
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Location is good, near the museum and metro. It advertised high speed wifi, but due to "technical issues" there was none during my four night stay. It's an issue because the building also blocks the normal phone service.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Hard to Find - The accommodations were new and nice but the neighborhood was rougher than we had hoped. The parking was a distance away and it made travel difficult.

• Mythoslivethedream (2/5): Hotel Soggiorno Paradiso, how ironic! - I think the owner was feeling devilishly ironic when he/she chose the name. This b&b was hell! The worst place we've ever stayed in! I always make an effort to speak Italian when I go to Italy, simply because I feel it's really rude to expect people in a different country to speak English. Usually, this is received very well, but here, there was not even a slight recognition. The woman at reception is horrible, never smiling, just about saying hello in the morning and always talking with the utter disdain/annoyance. Why the hell do they force customers to go and ask for the breakfast ticket every morning if it's such an inconvenience?! We even had to beg to have some more toilet paper in our room one day! Breakfast, as many people have said, is very light. The b&b itself is very well situated, it is true Naples. We were a bit surprised when we arrived by the hole in the wall as we called it, but we thought it added to the charm. I wish we had read the other travellers' reviews before we booked this place... Probably our worst decision ever.
