- Rasa Kupriene (6/5): - Good lication We booked the room for 3 adult people. Single bed was too short, broken, very poor mattress condition if this can be call a mattress. Double bed mattress very hard super firm. But most upsetting was the smell. And stayed in February, nothing to do with hot season. It is my 3rd visit in Venice haven't had bed smell experience before. Another downside of this property -steep high step staircase to the accommodation. Definitely wouldn't recommend to elderly people.

- Pavel (1/5): Bed bugs, moved out after one night, manager unhelpful - Good location, very close to a vaporetto stop. The room was small but pretty, in an old-fashioned way appropriate for Venice. The lady at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Bed bugs. We were bitten many times on our first night, saw some actual live bugs on our bed the next evening, and promptly moved out. Having to find another nearby hotel at 10 pm, and then move there with our sleepy 6 year old was an experience I hadn’t signed up for. The property manager flatly denied them having bed bugs, claiming that “Venice doesn’t have bed bugs”. That is of course false. Moreover, other travelers have reported them at the property in recent Google reviews. For the record we stayed in room 104. Updated: the manager responded to this review claiming I've never showed up at the hotel, and that I'm a liar. That's a lovely way to treat a customer who literally had to evacuate his family from your hotel late in the evening. If I had been a no-show, I wouldn't have been able to leave a review here. Also, I've provided the pics and videos of bed bugs to Booking.com, and received a full refund for my "stay". People operating this hotel are not honest or ethical. You do what you want with your money, but I recommend against staying at this hotel.

- Birgit (7/5): Preis Leistung okay - Die Lage ist genial. Das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Frühstück war liebevoll bereitet und frisch. Die Dusche ist definitiv zu klein und eng. Im Zimmer und im Bad riecht es unangenehm modrich. Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr klein.
- Holly (10/5): Excellent location! - Loved the room and loved the location. The room was in a cool old building (like all the buildings). The bed was comfy and the bathroom fully updated. We loved walking around the streets of Venice; everything is walkable from this location. We enjoyed the waterbus. The walking directions from the property were our saving grace; our Google maps had so much trouble around Venice. I believe there was breakfast, but we had to leave 30min before the breakfast began to catch a train. It would have been nice to have snacks available for early travelers. A slight downside to the historic building was the lack of elevator. Guests with mobility concerns may struggle to access the lobby/rooms.

- Lucía (4/5): Regular - La ubicación No había recepción 24 horas cuando teóricamente si, era muy muy antiguo, el baño olía como a cloaca y la habitación en general era muy sucia y antigua. Lo único bueno fue el desayuno y la atención de la única trabajadora que habia en el hotel (aunque no se le puedo llamar hotel) era muy atenta pero solo estaba ella y era de la limpieza aunque tambien se encargó de hacerme el check-in que fue al segundo dia porque dijo que ella no podía hacerlo. La cosa es que nunca llego esa supuesta persona encargada del check- in, te dan las llaves y tú te las apañas. Para nada es un hotel no mucho menos 4 estrellas ni de 3 diría que es más bien un hostal, con decoración veneciana acorde, pero podría estar más cuidado.

Big king size bed was very comfortable, safe also was big plus, quiet area but very close to San Marko sqear and historical places very close. location is perfect. Chanell and ship station also close just 3 min for m the hotel. Supermarket Spar also very close. Next time i will choose this verient.

- virginie (10/5): Belle expérience - Emplacement trés bien situé à 20mn à pieds de la place St Marco. Personnel trés agréable, petit déjeuner bien servi avec le sourire et génereux. La chambre est bien insonorisée même si la salle du petit-déjeuner est proche des chambres. La literie est confortable et la chambre trés bien chauffée ! La dépose des bagages pour la derniére journée est commode. Il manquerait des petits crochets pour serviettes dans la salle de bain et un plateau pour prendre le thé et le café.

Spazi comuni un po’ stretti ma d’altronde la struttura é in una casa veneziana. Quindi in realtà mi é piaciuto fare l'esperienza di entrare in una casa veneziana.

В номере есть чайник, чашки плюс чай, кофе, сахар. Уборка в номере каждый день. Присутствовал неприятный запах в ванной комнате. Раковина под умывальником стильная, но очень старая.

The host was very warm, friendly and welcomed us with a fine Prosecco. He patiently attended to all our queries and suggested some activities on the Island. Located in heart of Venice: San Marco Though we did not try the breakfast, a friend of mine enjoyed a sumptuous continental one, with lots of fresh fruit, omelette and yogurt. Hotel was quite hard to find, with no easily visible signboard.

- Patrick (7/5): Cool Airbnb near the canal. - It was close to the canal, which was great for departure. You will need to be physically able to carry your luggage up a narrow, steep set of stairs. The room was good and the bed comfortable. The listing made you think breakfast was included, but we saw no evidence of that. No one was there in the morning. More timely responses via messaging. We couldn't get messages returned so had to call to reach anyone, as there was no staff on site on arrival or departure, they did come by and left as soon as we checked in, it was their first day so they weren't too knowledgable to be able to answer any questions but they were pleasant. A heads-up that the canal was closed the day we would have been great and helped us plan our arrival better. The directions we got were not accurate, as we couldn't get there via the canal and had to carry our luggage across town. The air conditioning was not adequate, and we lost power. It was more of an Airbnb than a hotel.
- Shelly (6/5): Great staff but overpriced for quality of room - The hotel staff were excellent and very accommodating. For what the room was (very simple with not a very pleasant canal view) I felt it was overpriced. The room also did not have an ironing board or steamer and I was there for work, so that was a challenge. The toilet broke on the first day, but the staff were very responsive in having it fixed. The canal view is not very pleasant and they charged extra for it.
- Sandra (10/5): Totalmente recomendable. - Me gustó todo. La habitación muy cómoda y caliente para el frio que hacia en la calle. Te ofrecen la posibilidad de dejarte una botella de vino prosecco en la habitación y ofrecen también desayuno por la mañana. La ubicación de 10. Y el personal muy atento. Lo recomiendo 100%. Me gustó todo.

- Montanari (6/5): Buona la posizione ma stanza poco curata, basterebbe poco per renderla più accogliente - La posizione, vicino al centro La stanza era polverosa, nel bagno lo scarico dell'acqua del wc non funzionava bene, la maniglia della porta era mezza staccata non c' era modo di appoggiare gli asciugamani perché uno dei 2 ganci della porta era rotto. Il divano letto era precario. Il bollitore a disposizione nell'angolo cucina era sporco.

- LYDIA (9/5): Buena ubicación y buen desayuno para empezar el día. - La ubicación perfecta, el desayuno súper completo, la amabilidad de la chica que nos atendió los 3 días, pudimos hacer check-in temprano sin problemas. En la habitación había un ruidito eléctrico que era un poco molesto por las noches. Por suerte llegágamos cansadísimos a la habitación y dormíamos muy bien.
- Pajuelo (6/5): Calidad precio, está bien. - Lo principal lo cerca de la vaporetto y al centro (plaza de san marcos). También se está muy calentito y el desayuno bastante bien. Mucha decoración que parece que tiene mucho polvo y está descuidado. Las escaleras empinadas de la primera planta son un poco de difícil acceso.
- Wei (4/5): 被虫咬的无法休息，很难忍受。一天过后身上的咬痕红肿、奇痒难忍！ - 早餐、服务人员态度、地理位置还都不错。 实在不爽！我们夫妻遇到了几十年来的旅行从没遇到过的问题：我们被一种说不太准确的虫子（臭虫？但不是虱子、跳蚤）咬得彻夜难眠。起初我们还以为是蚊子，但揭开被单找到了一只头小身子大扁平状的小动物，于是抓住捏死后赶紧丢掉，随后在墙上也发现了一只直接捏死扔掉。谁知这仅仅是开始，之后的几小时内我们又不停地被这种小动物侵犯，我们夫妻浑身多处被咬后又分别捉住三只并拍了照、录了像。早上出示给了当班的服务人员，她的态度很好并表示歉意。但直到我们离开前店主人没有任何交代。我们同行家人的其它两间房虽未发现这种小动物，但他们说房间气味不太好，只能打开窗子通风换气。到今天我们回来一天多时间身上的咬伤仍红肿难忍。我们希望平台和店主对此事除予以重视外，也能给我们一个交代。毕竟威尼斯这样的旅游胜地花费不菲却有这种糟糕的体验实在令人难以接受。顺便附几张我们被虫咬的图片，前4张是当晚虫子被捉现场和我被咬后的照片，后3张是2天后回家我太太被咬伤的难受现状。

- Daniel (10/5): Lugar ideal en Venecia - Alojamiento ideal bien situado, bonito el personal de 10 , el desayuno excepcional y al llegar te dan un mapa con los lugares para ver y sitios para comer de verdad que es un sitio ideal limpio atentos buen precio y el desayuno que desayuno más bueno y abundante. Volveremos seguro.
