• Katharine (7/5): - The location was really good, walking distance to everything and the room was big with a comfy bed. You have to go through the communal living room and up the stairs to get to the room. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything, and i mean everything, the host starting their day with the music on downstairs, the other guests going to the toilet day and night. Fridge is in the communal kitchen not in the room. Bathroom was very small with the shower not having its own shower tray/unit so the whole bathroom was wet after a shower.

• Peter (10/5): Hidden gem in the heart of Florence - Magnificent gem in the heart of magnificent Florence. Everything was perfect, from the location to the beautiful room and our friendly host. We appreciated her welcoming attitude. A big plus was also the garden view, the quietness that came with it and the possibility to spy the little turtles in the backyard. As anywhere in Florence, you‘ll find a few mosquitos :)

A warm reception from Rita who was waiting to greet us and answer all our questions. Large spacious 2 floor apartment with plenty of beds for 10 of us and a crib for the littlest one. We enjoyed the convenience of a supermarket very close and walkable to all Florence’s main attractions and the train station. The kids loved having a private garden area and even spotted some box turtles. Many great amenities including a washer and dryer, all the comforts of home in an extraordinary city!

• Tom (8/5): Rita was lovely and helpful. Don’t forget to feed the turtles! - Amazing representation of life in Florence. The accommodations and Rita were excellent. I recommend this for an extended stay. Unfortunately, the excessive heat may have been the reason for a short loss of power. Although it became a little tense, the power was restored and we slept well.

We also very much enjoyed the private garden. The bedrooms were all nice and accommodating. The downstairs shower was a bit funky and it would have been nice to have a few comfortable chairs in the living room area. Except for the couch, all the seating options were dining table chairs or patio chairs.

Near the city centre but also in a local neighbourhood with a comprehensive supermarket. The property had it's own garden that provided excellent family overspill space. The garden was private and hardly overlooked. The washing machine and tumble dryer were at the end of the garden and there was also space to dry clothes outside. The property is an excellent base for a family to explore Florence and is an easy walk from the main rail station. The bathrooms were spacious but the one downstairs would have been improved by a shower cubicle to replace the plastic curtain. This is of course personal preference and others will not be concerned about this.

The home was very well equipped, including toothbrushes, soap, etc. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Florence. The fridge did not cool very good, we had to use the freezer to cool some beers.
