The house is in a traditional Venice neighborhood. Our room had all new plumbing and was comfortable and charming. All of Venice is within walking distance. There are shops and restaurants everywhere. We would definitely stay here again. Note: there is no elevator if stairs will be an issue. It wasn’t an issue for us.

They provided us with great recommendations for nearby food and activities, and even helped us book transportation to the airport for a 6:00am flight on extremely short notice. As far as the room, it was nice and clean and in the perfect location, allowing us to walk to the main attractions and all the restaurants we wanted to try. Before leaving in the morning they provided us with a really good breakfast which was super convenient. You can tell their Bed & Breakfast is about more than just business to them, they truly want their guests to feel at home and get the absolute most out of their vacation, which we did. We will definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Venice. 10/10 stay!

Mario was a fantastic host providing a lovely breakfast each morning and some great recommendations (including a map) of the most popular places to visit in Venice, which made our trip perfect. The place was perfectly located, very clean, quiet....just perfect spot for a short visit. And it was our first time staying in B&B and certainly did not disappoint. I would 1000% recommend this place !

We came back at 2 and all our very heavy bags had been brought up to our room. The room and bathroom were very clean. He served us breakfast each morning which was great. He answered all our questions and gave us recommendations for restaurants which were fantastic. The day we left, he made arrangements for us for the water taxi and additional road taxi to take us to the airport. He helped us with our luggage and waited with us until we were on the water taxi. I would highly recommend staying with them.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Well-Positioned Venetian Charm - Lovely B&B with an excellent, welcoming and considerate host. Well positioned for those willing to walk. Only 20 minutes on foot from the main train station, less than ten minutes from the Rialto Bridge and 15 Minutes from St Mark's Square. We were given helpful directions from our host and tips for getting to and from our room. Thank you. Breakfast included was a lovely addition. Our rooms were full of charm and Venitian character.

The only comment from me is that one of the reasons I chose this place was because of the option for 2 twin beds, however on arrival was told that is only a request not a guarantee. It was fine because my son and I were able to share a bed and appreciated having our own private bathroom. The booking should be more transparent about this in case 2 twins is important. I would stay here again if returning to Venice.

The room wasn't had a bathroom but hotel owner was so kind, they did not sell other room, just to give us a privavy to use the common bathroom only for us. I myst say, bathroom will be always cleaned so even shared, do not worry. Even when we reached hotel, lady owner Mrs Esmeralda explain how to explore and visit places in short time because we were only there for 2 nights. She had given us map which she had created herself to help first time visitor. She has given a room 2 hours early when actual check in time was 2 o'clock afternoon, brilliant and what a help. Air-conditioning was spot on. Mr Mario was a look after our breakfast and given us a good idea how to spend less and using most of resorces like water bus etc. Mario and Esmeralda were constantly keep in touch till we reached hotel, messaging a direction to reach hotel as soon as possible. Gandola ride was nice in the late evening but very expensive, I suppose it was royal experience once in a lifetime. I would definitely stay with this hotel again if I would visit Venice in future. Surely recommends this hotel bed and breakfast.

She was incredibly informative about where and how to get a water taxi to the airport the next day. She provided a map, recommendations on where to eat, and an itinerary (should you choose to follow) for 1 day in Venice. Our room was quiet, clean and just what we needed. It was a bit hot in our room, but apparently it was due to the heatwave. The location was easy to get to and close walking distance to everything. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

Mario and family recommended incredible restaurants in the neighborhood that were reasonably priced and delicious. You also can’t meet a kinder man than Mario - when he found my daughters stuffed animal left in the room he insisted that he deliver it to us before we left in our rental car.

I had concerns about having to share a bathroom with another room down the hall, but really it wasn’t an issue at all. Mario had our breakfast ready in the morning each day and on the last day his son took care of it. Mario even helped get us to the vaporetto on the last day, too.

- Sara (2/5): - Very strange B&B, property is small and the AC doesn’t work. We constantly has mosquitos in the house and in the room. The breakfast is very awkward because the owner is sitting there with you and talking to us non stop. There’s no sense or privacy at this property. Additionally the fan in the room was broken and taped together and it ended up cutting my finger very badly. Overall I would not recommend this place and I would warn others about it. Horrible experience.

- joseph (10/5): - The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The location was excellent, in a quiet area away from the tourist noise yet very easy to walk to the local attractions.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - The location is great. It's in a pretty quiet neighborhood, but still only a 5 minute walk to the nearest vaporetto station and about 10 minutes to the Rialto Bridge. We ate at a couple of very good restaurants in the neighborhood that were recommended by Mario. He was very helpful in making suggestions on things to do, places to eat, and gave directions on how to get there. The only minor issue we had is that our room was very small.
- Kevin (10/5): - Mario and Esmeralda are gracious hosts. Their B and B is on a quite alley in San Polo area of Venice.
- Daniel (10/5): - Mario and Esmerelda were very inviting and hospitable. They own and operate the hotel, which to some extent, makes it feel like they're hosting you in a B&B setting. They provide amazing dining recommendations and directions to iconic locations upon check-in. The room was spacious with its own AC and the breakfast was great. I would definitely come back again.

- Ralph (10/5): - What a gem ! Highly recommend a stay here. From booking to arrival, the owner kept in touch to help us reach our destination offering guidance on how to get to the building and the options regarding the types of transport available from the airport. It is situated in the centre with historical sites and restaurant nearby . We understood the hotel to have been built in the 15th Century! On arrival we were greeted warmly by the owner, shown to our room which was as described. Offered written and verbal information about the surrounding area inclusive of recommendations and suggestions. Fresh continental breakfast was served from 0830 to 1000 with a choice of which flavoured croissant and yoghurt. Throughout our stay, we felt confident, safe and supported by the owners who are local, knowledgeable about the area, and history of Venice. We truly felt a part of their extended family - thank you Mario and Esmeralda

- Vasanthi (10/5): - This was a great find. The hotel is close to everything and easy to get to from the train. The owners provided us with a walking tour they developed and really good restaurant suggestions. It was a nice surprise and really made the trip special.

- David (10/5): - Mario and Esmeralda are great hosts. My wife and I stayed in a quadruple room with our two children. The room was very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. We would definitely recommend it to others, and we will look to stay here again the next time we are in Venice.
- Dorota (10/5): Lovely place - Lovely place to stay, lovely hosts, very cosy and in the middle of Venice. The only problem for me was sharing bathroom but it was my choice (low budget and last minute booking as my reservation cancelled by another hotel on another website

- Christopher (10/5): Loved our stay!!! - My family of four thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Mario was a great host and helped by providing excellent recommendations for restaurants nearby and a suggested itinerary that explored some less tread routes. Nothing was too much trouble, for example accommodating a later check out time. The accomodation itself feels authentic and well located. Breakfast was lovely too. Would not hesitate to rebook.
- Ghazaleh (8/5): - It was a nice place. The owners were helpful and kind. It's in a great place close to rialto bridge. The only issue was the breakfast which there was mainly pastry, jams, yogurt! There was no protein, eggs or sausages and no cheese, not even fruits!! If you have diabetes you can't eat anything or you may get diabetes if you don't!

- Adam (10/5): - Perfect location. Close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. Our host Mario and his wife are amazing. If you’re wondering how to get here from the airport take the orange line Alilaguna to San Stae. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the hotel.
