Gave us great recommendations on restaurants for my birthday and made a reservation for us at a parking garage a block away. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

• Halimah (3/5): Not great... - The location was good 'The black and white room' had an uncomfortable and very large depiction of a naked white woman that is being 'served' by a black woman - just why??The bathtub is a nice idea in theory but wanting to have a shower is not great as you have to hold the shower up and water goes absolutely everywhere creating a slip hazard as you get out of the tub and the curtains opposite the tub also got wet. Breakfast in bed was not something we wanted to do, the pictures for the hotel shows an outdoor seating area and also a table inside that looks like where you would have Breakfast but this wasn't the case. After finishing breakfast you get a knock on your door after about an hour or so later and someone would come and collect the tray - we liked going back to bed to have a lie in and would get woken up everyday. Why not just take the tray when doing housekeeping? Also no option for a do not disturb sign which would be easier for people who don't want anything. No basic amenities like a mini fridge to keep your own beverages cold, I understand this is not listed after checking but still for the amount you pay it should be provided. For the overall price it wasn't worth it and I feel like with the great public transport being further out would have been a better option.

• Natasa (4/5): Bad experience - Location This is not a hotel, these are rooms on the first floor of an apartment building. There is no reception, the whole area has a very unpleasant intense smell. They bring breakfast to the room, because there is no dining room. On booking it appears as a hotel with parking, which they do not have. Very bad experience

The rooms doesn’t have basic items like a refrigerator, a garbage bin, etc. Breakfast is a list with 15 items in the smallest size possible. And you have to pay for some basic breakfast products! Usually some breakfast part is missing or is not eatable (like a yogurt that they delivered one day). There is no breakfast room so they are delivering breakfast to the room. Cleaning is basic and usually some garbage is remaining in the room after cleaner! Even the coffee pods that the have to use with a coffee machine were half empty so you were drinking water not coffee!

• Eric (8/5): Quiet comfortable lodging convenient to SMN train station - Well maintained and furnished, very clean. Tasteful decor. Terrific location near SMN train station and Unità T2 tram station to the airport. Good concierge services. We left too early to have the breakfast (included in our room). The bathroom was half of the room and very warm. It was great for bathing in the huge claw foot tub but we had trouble getting the bedroom to be cool enough for sleeping. Finally opened a window and closed the sliding doors to the bathroom area.

Walking distance to the Duomo. Three blocks max to the tram. I ended up paying extra for breakfast foods that were not clerly labelled as such.

I have no words to thank the staff, all were so welcoming and helpful, adorable really. I loved that the plants were clearly happy and taken care off. The place is so clean and silent. Perfect. I don’t have negative points. If I could improve something it would be to ensure that the room gets completely dark at night. That and silence are needed to ensure a good sleep. My room had some spots where light was coming too much (under the entrance door, around the window stores, I had to use a mask in my face to be in the dark.

• Mai (10/5): 素敵な部屋でフィレンツェ住人になる旅 - フィレンツェに住んでいる気分を味わえる。レトロな小さなエレベーターも体験出来たのが興味深い。サンタマリアノッベラ駅から直ぐでとても便利です。便利な場所にあるのに静かで良い。浴槽があり、湯船にゆっくり浸かって疲れが取れるのがありがたい。また朝食が部屋で静かにゆっくり取れるのも良い。部屋にエスプレッソメーカーが付いているので朝の清々しい空気を窓を開けて感じながら部屋で淹れたてのエスプレッソを飲めるのが素敵でした。チェックイン前とチェックアウト後に荷物を預かってくれてとても助かりました。 強いて言えば、他の部屋の人たちが夜遅くに帰宅した時に廊下で足音と話し声がする事。

• Jason (10/5): Casa Howard is the epitome of Italy capturing design elements that are exquisite. - From the moment of arriving, Antonio, Paolo, and Edgar were so welcoming. Not only is this hotel in the prime location of Florence; the rooms are absolutely stunning. Breakfast daily is a nice touch where you can eat in the privacy of your room or enjoy it on the communal terrace...the ham and cheese toast is the best in the city! The majority of sites, museums and attractions that Firenze has to offer are within walking distance. I did not like that I had to leave ... I wish I could have stayed another week!

• Marina (6/5): Très bon emplacement mais déçues des chambres - L’emplacement est vraiment super, à proximité de tout. L’accueil a été au top, le personnel est vraiment attentif et prévenant . Les parties communes sont très jolies, petites mais très jolies. Les chambres étaient calmes. La présentation du petit déjeuner était ravissante, coquetier et couverts en argent. Vraiment très joli. Les gels douche sont de qualité, et sentent délicieusement bons ( ils viennent de la parfumerie qui est juste à côté Santa Maria novella) Je n’ai pas du tout aimé la décoration des chambres. Nous avions la camel et library. La camel passe encore mais la library!! Je ne m’attendais pas du tout à cela. Chambre suite deluxe petite, si on avait ouvert le canapé lit il n’y avait plus de place. Décoration faite d’étagère digne d’un appartement de ski des années 50/60, décoration improbable avec des casques style safar ou colonial. La salle de bain aurait pu être pas mal mais la douche peinte en rouge sang faisait peur! Pas de baignoire. Dans la chambre camel il faisait froid, j’ai du demander un chauffage d’appoint pour la salle de bain et que l’on a utilisé ds la chambre car je n’ai pas réussi à augmenter la température de la clim. Les matelas sont assez durs mais les oreillers parfaits! Papiers toilettes brun alors certes écologique mais vraiment pas doux et je trouve que le petit déjeuner est bon, les produits sont même très bon mais pas assez copieux! 3 demi tranche de pain de mie en guise de toast et le 2e jour pas de mouillette pour aller avec l’œuf coque. Le petit déjeuner est servi en chambre. Il n’y a pas de salle de restauration.

• Julie (10/5): Unique and friendly boutique hotel - We had a wonderful stay at this lovely boutique hotel within walking distance of most major museums. Casa Howard was very clean, and the breakfast-to-order served to the room every morning was extraordinary. We had 2 rooms - one with a lovely little balcony. Our room had a large bathroom with a shower. The second room only had a large bathtub with a handheld shower. We were traveling with an older family member and it was very difficult for him to get in and out of the bathtub. Otherwise we loved the hotel and especially appreciated the great suggestions and assistance from the concierge. They arranged taxis, recommended restaurants, and were happy to chat. We felt well looked-after. We will be back!

• Rodrigo (8/5): Beatiful rooms , its sort of a great airbnb , not an hotel . - the room was very large ( I think it was a suite ) , well decorated and overall very confortable.The man in charge , Antonio , very helpful.The breakfast brought to room was excellent . Its really a " rezidencia ' not an hotel which means there are no public areas , restaurant ,checking in counter or anything of the sort .The first approach is not good .You have to climb a few stairs carrying your luggage ( nobody to give you a hand ) and then into a small closet converted into an elevator .The room that opens into the entrance is beatiful but can be noisy .
