• helen (9/5): I really enjoyed my stay, mainly because of the location close to Queensway and the breakfast. (Very good eggs!) - Lovely location - close to Kensington Park Gardens and to two tube stations. Good breakfast included with the room price. Friendly staff who helped me sort out the shower. shower taps not marked as hot and cold. I thought one was to turn it on and the other to adjust the heat. while wrestling with it the knobs became stuck and I needed help to turn off the water. Perhaps some instructions? Also strong chemical smell in the room which I didn’t like much though it didn’t keep me awake. Room was a bit too hot, even with the window permanently open and despite my trying to turn it off.

Tube nelle immediate vicinanze Queensway, Bayswater, Lancaster Gate, Paddington e fermate bus Hyde Park vicinissimo. Nella zona si trovano diversi locali, ristoranti e caffetteria, shopping. Zona molto tranquilla. Comoda la posizione per raggiungere l'aeroporto Stansdet (standsted express, liverpool street Elisabeth Line, con fermata Paddington (18 minuti a piedi per l'hotel, o stansdet express , liverpool street, circle fermata Queensway ( 2 minuti a piedi) La nostra camera, due singoli, era comoda e pulita, dimensioni standard. Comodo il deposito bagagli gratuito. Conclusione, visti i prezzi degli alloggi a Londra, direi ok! La colazione è un po scadente, per chi preferisce il salato , solo formaggio, pancarré e uova e nient'altro. Tanti croissant, troppi, che ti fanno pensare che non siano freschi ma riciclati ogni mattina. Poca scelta di marmellate. Andrebbe migliorata tantissimo la colazione e sarebbe tutto perfetto.

• Ian (10/5): A perfect stay, exceptional value, wonderful location! - A perfect stay, exceptional value, wonderful location, think we were upgraded to a fabulous room with Jacuzzi, quiet, comfortable and super clean, breakfast was perfect, we travel frequently and there are ALWAYS issues at breakfast, no coffee, no seats, queue, no issues here on 3 days! Staff all friendly would definitely stay again.
• Andrew (8/5): An easy relaxed site. - The breakfast was ok. A choice of tinned fruit, pastries, eggs, cereals and toast. Staff were extremely helpful and the hotel was superbly placed for easy transport links to central London. Kensington Gardens across the road a real bonus. Room was just about big enough and the ensuite was cosy too. TV did not appear to have terrestrial channels. Did not bother us but someone might want them.
• Geppert (7/5): - Sehr gute Anbindung sowohl zu zwei Tube Haltestellen als auch an den Bus. Personal war freundlich. Bei Frühstück könnte es noch ein wenig mehr Auswahl geben wie z.B Wurst. Bitte den Mitarbeiter von der Rezeption nicht mehr auf der Couch vor der Rezeption schlafen lassen. Ich habe mich heute Morgen um 5.30 Uhr sehr erschrocken als ich auschecken wollte. Im übrigen hatte er oben Rum nichts an und ich weiß nicht ob die Decke nicht noch mehr verdecken sollte.

We were happy there, would come again. A little small, especially the shower. Breakfast is subpar. I suggest charging more per room and upgrading breakfast. By all means, get fresh fruit, fresh bakery healthy bread, and add salami to supplement mediocre cheese!
• Ivan (6/5): My experience at Troy Hotel - The location was really good. There are two underground stations pretty close to the hotel. The receptionists were really friendly and helpful. One of the women, who were arranging the breakfast, was really rude with all of the hotel guests. I find that really unpleasant and I can’t accept that as something normal.

Mulighed for at købe drikkevarer til at tage med på værelset til en fornuftig pris . Personalet ved morgenmaden var ikke så ikke imødekommende. Vi blev irettesat et par gange, hvilket var ok, men måden var ikke ok. Vi kom for tidligt til morgenmad, brugte toast maskine til croissant og en bolle - det stod der ikke! Vi var en gruppe på 11 som den ene morgen talte/ grinte for højt.

• Valérie (9/5): Hôtel très cosy et agréable, très bien situé, une adresse à retenir - La chambre était très confortable, l'hôtel très bien décoré, dans une rue calme, à 2 pas du bus. Nous avons apprécié de pouvoir laisser nos bagages en conciergerie pour finir nos visites le jour du départ. C'est appréciable qu'il y ait toujours quelqu'un à la réception. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié les rideaux occultants ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas en Angleterre. Le petit déjeuner ! Il est complet mais pas très varié et très industriel : confitures en petites barquettes individuelles, croissants industriels, uniquement des oeufs durs. Ce qui serait mieux, ce serait des oeufs à cuire à notre goût, aucune charcuterie, pas de produits frais. Mais c'est très bien géré.

• Walter (9/5): Great Location & Value - The Troy Hotel's was conveniently located - just two streets from the Central Line "Subway/Tube" station and next to Kensington Park. We bought "Tube/Bus" all day tickets (the best mass transit value) - which we used as a "hop-on-hop-off" means of travel ((subway & double decker buses) to visit London's major attractions. Staff was very friendly and helpful - providing us with London maps, brochures, and directions to nearby sites. Our 5th floor room was above average in size with comfortable twin beds and an adequate bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of items & juices. Overall, an excellent experience & value. Nothing to point out

Alles nah bei. Frühstück war okay. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Bei einem zukünftigen Londonaufenthalt würden wir hier wieder buchen.

My room was ready early, so I got to check-in, highly appreciated! (not everyone would be flexible there). The room was simple, but clean. Fridge and possibility to make coffee and tea is always nice. Tiny bathroom, but the most basic things that you need. Luggage storage was available. I would have enjoyed breakfast more if it was a little bit broader selection. Fresh bread/buns, scrambled eggs and bacon, and a natural yoghurt that was not "fat-free" and some fresh fruit and berries... (But then it would have been more expensive, probably:)

• Roland (7/5): Popular, friendly hotel near Hyde Park. - Staff were accommodating and welcoming. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was adequate, without bells and whistles. The selection of cereals and the coffee was good. The location was good with good connections to the underground and London Buses. The walk and visit to Paddington Basin was a highlight. The shower is very small - but at least there was always hot water. My first room was beautiful, even with a nice view, however, I was there on business and needed a desk to work and there was no desk in that room. I explained my situation to Reception and they made a plan and moved me to a room with a desk. There were some buzzing noises in the night - from the fridge and the fan, but otherwise - I felt safe, and comfortable.

Klidná ulice nedaleko metra. Na pokoji možnost uvařit si kávu nebo čaj, k dispozici lednice. Stůl, u kterého se dalo pracovat. Spokojenost s ubytováním, jen zbytečně vyměňují ručníky, i když byly zavěšené a pobyt trval jen dvě noci.

Prośba nie została spełniona. Klin w łączeniu to nie podwójny materac. Widok przez okno to kompletna porażka. Przy otwartym oknie słychać jakby ktoś wodę lał z góry na beton. Rury tuż przy ścianie okna. Łazienka z wanną ale stare wszystko i wymaga wymiany. Pościel z włosami innych gości. Obrzydliwe to było. Dobrze że zauważyliśmy w dniu wyjazdu dopiero.Śniadanie bez grama warzyw czy świeżych owoców. Zero wędlin. Bardzo monotonne.

• YOLANDA (10/5): Fantástica y relajante! - La ambilidad del personal de recepción, sobre todo la chica de recepción por la mañana, tuvimos un bonita habitación. La tranquilidad del hotel, estaba lleno y no había Nadal de ruido. Zona también tranquila. Quizás en el desayuno deberian poner algo mas de embutido, por ejemplo jamón york, faltaria algo de fruta natural tipo: naranjas, plátanos, manzanas. Por lo demés desayuno correcto.

• AndyP. (8/5): Tolles Hotel mit kleinen Makeln - Die Lage beim Hyde Park ist perfekt aber trotzdem ruhig! U-Bahn, Bus und Paddington Bahnhof in der Nähe. Kein typisch englisches Frühstück. Kaffee war sehr gut. drei versch. Fruchtsäfte am Morgen. Personal freundlich Fenster hatte einen großen Spalt und konnte nur mit der Tagesdecke halbwegs abgedichtet werden. Wenig Auswahl beim Frühstück eine Käsesorte, drei Konfitüren, Nutella. hart gekochte Eier, wenig Gebäckauswahl, Haferflocken. Kein frisches Obst, keine Wurst oder ähnliches. WC Spülung ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Zimmer doch hellhörig.

The twin room was actually big, which was rather surprising for London :) Clean and comfortable. Staff were most helpful. Nothing. Even the breakfast, though lacking variety and hot options, was sufficient for us.

La literie était confortable et la chambre très propre. Le petit déjeuner est un vrai plus pour manger rapidement le matin ! La chasse d'eau était un peu vétuste et a cessé de fonctionner le lendemain matin. Néanmoins le personnel a été très réactif et aimable et la chasse d'eau a été remplacée le jour même.

Bunavointa personalului care ne-a permis sa lasam bagajele inainte de check-in pentru ca am ajuns prea devreme, si la fel si la plecare. De asemenea am fost impresionata de faptul ca aveau un cantar pentru a masura greutatea bagajului, in conditiile in care companiile low-cost aeriene sunt foarte vigiliente cu asta. Semnalul WiFi este foarte bun, de asemenea, camera curata, prosoapele schimbate zilnic. Micul dejun este foarte sarac. Inafara de oua fierte si niste felii de cascaval, nu a existat altceva. Unt, gem si iaurt. Extrem de sarac si in fiecare zi acelasi meniu cu exact aceleasi produse. Nu am vazut cafea, desi probabil ca aveau, dar se poate sa nu fi vazut eu, insa aveau un suc de portocale bun, neindoit cu apa, cum se intampla des. Daca ar exista varianta de cazare fara mic dejun, as recomanda-o pentru a cheltui suma aceea pe un mic dejun mai bogat.
