• 772tristang (10/5): A wonderful place to experience the Venetian atmosphere - Ca' San Giorgio is a charming 14th-century townhouse blending Venetian authenticity with contemporary elegance. Just steps from the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge, it’s the perfect place to explore Venice while enjoying a peaceful, refined atmosphere. Warm hospitality, intimate vibes, and beautifully designed rooms, the perfect setting for a true Venetian getaway. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Our baggage was delayed and the staff was tremendously helpful by calling the airline/airport for us and keeping in touch with us at all times. The location is really lovely, close to everything but not in the middle of tourist crowds. Our room was spotless and very spacious, and also uniquely Venice! Highly recommended.

Booked the junior suite room with balcony / terrace which was private but the balcony had no view as it was surrounded by high walls . The room was lovely and spacious , but mildly disappointing only because I had booked the roof top junior suite with terrace, which did provide a view. I did not not mention it to the hotel staff , because they were all so welcoming and lovely and the room did provide all the facilities we required. Silvie was very helpful , and provided us with lots of tips and how to navigate our way around Venice. Would absolutely recommend this Hotel to anyone who has no mobility issues , purely because there are no lifts , and stairs on entering the property to reach reception and rooms, but this is highlighted in the hotel description. We arrived after the check in times and we were provided very clear instructions prior to travelling regarding details on how to access the property on arrival and where we would locate our room keys. Everything was done to make the process so easy. We absolutely loved our stay and Venice too !

Beautiful building located in a quiet area of Venice but within minutes of all the local bars, restaurants and amenity shops, as well as the water bus stops on the grand canal. Had junior suite rooms in the hotel which were beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very nice with quality produce. But the icing on the cake for us was the staff who were all exceptionally, friendly, warm, friendly and full of helpful information. Would we go to Venice again, probably, if we do go would we stay here again, absolutely.

The owners were pleasant and accommodating however our A/C unit was not functioning properly. The owner did acknowledge this and addressed it immediately. Attic dwelling in the intense summer heat with clay terra cotta shingles makes for a very uncomfortable stay. The breakfast was warm and well stocked, but our shower door access was just wide enough, about 10" in width to squeeze into and this made showering difficult. You can tell that the owners are attentive and have made a nice retreat away from the beaten path and worth inquiring.

• tripleakids (10/5): Awesome boutique hotel - We stayed at this quaint place for three nights four days while in Venice. It had an excellent location, easily accessed from public water taxis. We took a private water taxi from the airport, which brought us almost right to the hotel door, which was awesome having lots of luggage. The hotel itself is very quaint and cute, staff are awesome and the breakfast was phenomenal. I would highly recommend.

• David (10/5): Nice little B & B off the beaten path - Ca' San Giorgio was a wonderful place to stay. The breakfast was nice, the rooms were large and nicely appointed. I wish the pillows and shower were larger but small issues and the pillow issue was quickly corrected with an additional pillow upon request. It's a little off the beaten path which makes for a bit of a walk to places like San Marco square and getting large luggage was not easy having to cross bridges to get there but again first world issues and the place itself was worth the walk.

We splashed out and booked the suite with the roof terrace. Although it was a little too hot to sit out during the day it was lovely to sit out in the evening. The hotel is perfectly placed for exploring Venice and is in such a beautiful part of the city with many wonderful places to eat. We will definitely be returning.

We showed up late for the continental, but the staff went out of their way and made our morning enjoyable, thank you! They also helped set up our return trip to the Venice Airport, making for a stress free departure. Our plane was leaving very early for our return home, so the staff put croissants and fruit at our room so we had a little something before we left. • Randy (10/5): - After spending three days at the Ca’ San Girogio hotel, my wife and I can say, without exaggeration, that it is a real gem. Located on a quiet and picturesque side street, it is away from the large crowds, and yet is close enough to easily walk to any of the major sights in Venice. There are two small grocery stores within a 10 minute walk, and plenty of excellent restaurants. The interior of the hotel is tastefully decorated and reminds you that you aren’t just anywhere; you’re in Venice. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with plenty of towels and other amenities provided, and the small refrigerator kept our drinks cold. The bed was comfortable, and the climate control system worked well. Breakfast, which was served in a tranquil room on the second floor, overlooking the street below, was first rate in every way. And the staff was outstanding. The receptionist (Anna?) was full of life and a joy to talk with, and she really set the tone for what was a memorable stay in the beautiful city of Venice. We’re looking forward to returning again!

• Roving01609011294 (10/5): Lovely refurbished hotel - The hotel (b and b) is a beautiful refurbishment in a quiet area of Venice but not far from The rialto. There are loads of local trattorias nearby. Breakfasts were good with a good choice and the female staff are all friendly and informative. However, there is no lift and the steep staircase to the upper floor could be challenging. We were on the first floor which was perfect. Don’t be fooled by 8 minutes from the station if you have luggage as that 8 minutes involves crossing one bridge with 40 steps up and another 40 down and 2 more bridges each with about 10 steps up and down. Accept a porter! We had a flight home at 10.20 and had no choice but to use a river taxi which was absolutely delightful but pricey. The room was beautiful. There was ample hanging space but no drawers just open shelves and I hate to have my underwear on show or kept in a suitcase!!

It is an elegant place to stay, full of character and charm. It is close to the train station when arriving so only a short walk to find it. It also has 2 Vaporette stops close by to get around, although close enough to do all Venice’s main attractions by foot. Although it feels far enough away from all the drama of the main tourist sites! With plenty of great restaurants nearby that were recommended by the ladies that run the hotel. They were always friendly and happy to help with plans to explore the city. A great stay thank you.

Very convenient location to see Venice. Excellent service from check in to check out.

• Terry (8/5): - Really difficult to rate. In my younger days, I'd probably have loved it. Has a special old Venice feeling. Our room had to once have been the attic. Large by normal standards with a roof deck for 2, but the view didn't entice us, as just roofs in all directions. Ceiling was roof tiles and timbers. I like the place but lugging luggage up 3 flights of stairs wasn't fun. We used the Alilaguna taxi service which doesn't stop at the street (private boat taxi would have been much better). We had to walk quite a ways pulling bags through narrow streets. Breakfast was nice and simple.

• 393normam (10/5): Perfect stay in a lovely hotel - We were very happy with our stay at this hotel, especially as it was far from the crowded touristy location of the square. Everything about our stay was wonderful, the friendly and helpful staff members, the comfortable bed, clean room, beautiful entry and the best breakfast that we had on a 19 day trip through the Mediterranean. The best part about this hotel is wandering the streets when the locals are also out. We were able to find fabulous restaurants close to our hotel, and especially enjoyed Bacaro Quebrado. The hotel is close to two vaporetto stops and a quick walk to the train station.

• Nick (10/5): - We truly enjoyed our stay at Ca' San Giorgio after an Azamara cruise. This is an ideal location for a visit to Venice, with comfortable rooms and a friendly, helpful staff. (Thank you, Annalisa!) A stay here puts you very close (by foot or vaporetto) to some of the major sites of the city, yet you are well away of the overly-crowded, more "touristy" areas. The room was quiet and clean with a traditional, historic feel. If you have large or numerous suitcases, do try to reserve a ground floor room, as there is no elevator. Two vaporetto stops are just minutes away and the San Stae dock also provides Alilaguna service to and from the Venice Marco Polo airport. If you prefer the boat-taxis, they can stop at a landing that is just steps from the hotel front door. Within a 2-minute walk, you'll also discover a beautiful community piazza (Campo San Giacomo) that provides some very nice bars and restaurants and a local Co-Op store for grocery and other items. We would definitely choose to stay again at Ca' San Giorgio.
• Q3109GPneilb (10/5): Fantastic stay right next to water taxi stop. - Spent 3 nights here with my teenage daughter.The staff were informative, happy and really professional. The hotel is perfectly positioned for water taxis right next to it.So no luging suitcases miles!!! (The stop is included in my photos) The breakfast was plentiful and the rooms clean. We will definitely be revisiting.

• Richard (10/5): Perfect hotel in Venice - Superb hotel in quiet area, 10-15 minutes walk from the bus and train stations in one direction and the same from St Marcs square etc in the other direction. Clean, warm, comfortable and very well equipped big bright room. Good breakfast. Staff were very friendly and couldn't be more willing to help with any questions or recommendations on what to do etc. Just perfect !
