• Chris (10/5): Venice at its best - Excellently located for all Venice has to offer. Really enjoyed accommodation.
• Gabriella (8/5): Air BnB style close to everything in venice - The location is great. Easy walk to the train station, public boat transit, and the main avenue. Now, about the actual place:This is not bed and breakfast... This is more like an air BnB where you are renting a private room and it includes continental breakfast. The host is very friendly and can recommend your a variety of places and restaurants. You have your own side of the house, with your private room, bathroom, and patio. Is really great. The downfall is that the beds are not comfortable and that is not older adult friendly. You have to go up 3 flights of stairs to reach the apartment. Overall it was a good stay.
• Daniel (10/5): - I liked this B&B a lot. Great place to stay-very comfortable. Perfect breakfast for me (I don't like a big breakfast). Ideal host; Antonio is a really great guy and very helpful. Modern appliances in kitchen, bathroom, air conditioning (if you need it)-room was perfect for me: nice breeze. Close to the vaporetto which gets you all around Venice and surrounding islands. Very good restaurants, coffee houses, gelato places and a really excellent leather store (Balducci Borse) all closeby. ATM machine is 1 block away. Rail Station is very close-convenient to walk to or take the vaporetto 1 or 2 stops (depending on which line) to get there. Alle Guglie B&B really added so much to my stay in Venice. It's such a great place.

Great location close to everything but secluded so you can relax after a long day in a fabolous city. Tony recommended great restaurants and he even made reservation for us. • Marica (8/5): Wonderful B&B in Venice - We stayed for 2 nights at this B&B close to the train station. Antonio was very helpful and provided great tips on local attractions. The apartment was large and renovated while stile retaining the italian style. There was a larger terrace attached to the bed room and another balcony close to the kitchen. We had our morning coffe overlooking the common courtyard. The breakfast was good with bread, jam, various youghurt and cereals and a variety of fresh fruit. The apartment is in a quiet alley way and within seconds you can walk back to the shops and restaurants. There are also various ferry stops near by. There are two flights of steep stairs to access the apartment and no lift.

• Chris (10/5): THE gem in town - I would hate to say much more because it's not easy to find a place that you know you'll keep coming back to time after time. But I need to give Tony a deserving shout out for being the most wonderful host.
• Francesca (10/5): Struttura e servizio eccellente grazie ad Antonio - Il BB Alle Guglie è una struttura confortevole e molto ben tenuta. L'intera struttura è stata rinnovata di recente (nuovissimo e molto grazioso il bagno), e Antonio è davvero un host delizioso! Attento verso gli ospiti, oltre a fornirvi tante informazioni utili su Venezia vi chiederà persino a che gusto volete le brioches al mattino! Ottima la colazione, eccellente il wifi. Gli ospiti hanno a disposizione una terrazza ampia e graziosa. Unico neo (non per noi ma per chi ad esempio viaggia con bambini piccoli o ha qualche difficoltà motoria), il BB si trova al terzo piano di un edificio storico senza ascensore, quindi un po' scomodo per una certa tipologia di utenza. Per il resto, massimo dei voti su tutto.
• David (10/5): Great B&B near Santa Lucia rail station - We chose this B&B for location, price and availability and were more than satisfied with our choice. It was spacious and comfortable, with good breakfasts and we were very well looked after. We didn't worry about other features of the neighbourhood as all of what we wanted to see in Venice is readily accessible from many places.
• Devera (8/5): Venice - Antonio provided us with many tips on what to see. He was very helpful. Breakfast was very good. Location was excellent. Easy to access all of the sites. No noise from the street. The B & B was difficult to find.
• Ellen (10/5): A nice & huge room in an interesting neighbourhood - The B&B host lives in the same apartment and we had the room at the other side, a huge and clean room with tasteful deco and a nice balcony. The bathroom is shared but we pretty much had it all for our use when we were there. The B&B is about 15-minute walk from Piazzale Roma so it's convenient if you arrive by train but you have to cross 2 bridges. If you don't want to walk that far with your suitcases, you can take watertaxi 5.2 or 4.2 and get off at Guglie then it's a short walk from the pier. The B&B is in an interesting neighbourhood with lots of shops and restaurants but it's about 25 minutes walk to St. Marco Square which didn't bother us because we could walk slowly to admire all the lovely buildings in Venice, and while we were walking we came by a concert hall and went there 2 evenings to watch 2 shows. The host was very nice and helpful but during our stay he had other business to deal with so we didn't see him much but he was always accessible by phone - we could use the landline at his apartment to call him.
• Lucy (8/5): Nice quaint b&b typical of benice - The place was in a perfect location next to the Jewish district tucked just far enough from the hussle and bustle of tourists. The room was a bit like stepping back in time but in a good way. Lovely terrace off room that gets sun all day. Bathroom though not ensuite was directly next to bedroom and private. Antonio the host was charming, welcome and helpful. We would love to return!

He made our whole experience in Venice even better. We will definitely look into staying here again when we come back to Venice.
• donna (10/5): Lovely - We stayed here for 3 nights in April. Lots of stairs tonight room but it was very spacious. We had our own balcony and our own bathroom outside our room. Breakfast was served in the kitchen with Antonio there to answer any questions about where to go or how to get there. He was a great host. Perfect location, restaurants and shop on the next street. I would stay here again.

• Sunnydayzagain (8/5): Great location - A surprisingly convenient location and clsoe to the train station and waterbus station. The host was very friendly and prepared wonderful spread of breakfast for us. However, it is on the third floor without any lifts. Hence, if you are carrying heavy luggages, it may be difficult to climb all the way up. A lot of restAurants surroundimg the B&B and our favourite will always be Potini with the extra large serving of delicious tiramisu

Antonio, the host is very friendly and helpful with everything. He makes the stay feel warm and pleasant, like home. Yummy breakfast and also great value! If you are going to Venice stay here!
