• Henrik (6/5): Ringing church bells - If you like to sleep in, this is not the place for you. The Church just next door rings it bells every half hour from 8 am. Other than that it’s nothing special but also nothing really to complain about.
• Sia (2/5): - Die Matratzen waren durch ich lag direkt auf der Sprungfeder und das Kinderbett wölbte sich nach unten durch. Die Ablagen waren fleckig und mit Glasrändern verseht. Es war bitter kalt, da die Heizung aus war. (Im Bad gab es gar keine Heizung) Die Rollläden mussten wir geschlossen halten, denn die Möglichkeit bestand, dass jemand durch die nicht mehr richtig abschließbaren Fenster reinkommt (die Zimmer sind direkt im Erdgeschoss, dementsprechend auch laut nachts) Der Checkin ist nur zu bestimmten Zeiten möglich, ansonsten ist abgeschlossen. Wir sind nach der ersten Nacht in ein neues Hotel für nur 10€ mehr.

• Verified traveler (10/5): very nice - Einfaches aber ausreichendes Zimmer... leider mit nicht wirklich viel Tageslicht, aber wenn man nur zum übernachten da ist, vollkommen zu empfehlen. Vor allem die Lage mitten in der Mitte von Friedrichshain ist super!
• Ana (8/5): - Pas de réception: à 10h nous avons attendu pour déposer notre bagage avant le checkin et c’était impossible . La chambre très grande et très propre mais la literie est très ancienne et les matelas à ressorts qui sont vieux de 20 ans . Personne ne parle anglais sur place . Rapport qualité prix ok

• El (6/5): 2 days in Berlin - The hotel-pension itself is very well situated, the room was clean, but still noisy (I guess because of the other people staying there). Only problem: I didn't receive any information about the check-in time. I arrived to find the place closed. So yes, it was annoying at that moment. In particular because I was thinking I was going to an actual hotel. Besides that, the price is very correct for that situation in the city, lots of cool café/bars nearby.

• Josefin (8/5): - Bra läge och trevlig personal. Speciellt en tjej vid namn lidya gjorde vår vistelse utmärkt och hjälpte ofta till. Annars är hotellet väldigt enkelt men bra för sitt pris och med tanke på sitt läge. Nära U-bahn och några få stationer från Berlins "mitte" (centrum).
• Verified traveler (2/5): Mehr als nur ein naja ist nicht drin... - Die Empfangsdame war sehr behäbig...war nicht in der Lage, sich von ihrem Stuhl zu erheben. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sehr spartanisch und lieblos eingerichtet. Der Fernseher hatte nur zwei Sender. Im Bad gab es nicht einmal eine Ablage...das Waschbecken war sehr, sehr klein und der Seifenspender hing schief in der Wand uns war defekt.
• Verified traveler (6/5): not as good as it looked online - The hotel was a bit of a disappointment. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and the pillows thin. The walls were chipped and the bathroom was a bit shabby. The shower, though, was great, as was the water pressure that came from it. The wifi worked great throughout our stay. Our room was right next to the church which would chime every hour and half hour through the day. I believe it stopped between 23:00 and 08:00 in the morning, so if you want to sleep between those hours (and I guess most people do) then this is fine, but for us, it was a bit of an irritation. The location of the hotel though, was central to our decision to stay there. It is quite central and gives very easy access to sightseeing destinations, museums etc in the city centre. Overall, the presentation of the hotel online is quite far from the reality of our experience and that is why my ratings are fairly low. We have paid the same price for hotels of much higher quality. Oh, and for English users; there are no tea making facilities in the rooms.
• Sandra (4/5): Cheap but very low standard - Positive with this hotel is that it's in a good neighborhood and it's cheap. The room was also very large. The hotel is in pretty bad shape though and while we stayed there the wifi almost never worked and the lamp in our bathroom stopped working so we had to take showers in the dark. The room was very cold and the room pretty dirty. Since the reception is never open we never got any help either.
• Michal (2/5): Nie wieder. - Wir haben Dreibetzimmer reserviert, aber nur zweibettzimmer bekommen. Der Kopfkissen war total dreckig und stank nach Zigaretten. igentlich anze Zimmer stank nach Zigaretten, also ganze Nacht müßten wir lüften, daraus sind zwei Erkältungen. Nie wieder!!!

• Monika (8/5): Cheap and cheerful - Good location (near Samariterstrasse U-Bahn station), plenty to see and do in the area (cafés, shops, clubs, parks). Big clean room with '80s furniture (bed could be more comfortable). Reception usually closed but we were free to go out and come back at all times. Wi-Fi worked perfectly well.
• Jose (4/5): Poor choice - First of all, I'd made a poor choice because I chose Insor Hotel which is open only until 8:00pm. Even though I paid for this hotel, I had to go and buy another one... Next day I arrived around 3:00pm and I tried to talk with receptionist but she did not speak any English. She spoke German but I don't. Fortunately, we were able communicate in Russian. When I get to my room, the room looked like on the photo on the website. The room was fairly clean and specious. There was also a sink in that room. One thing that I don't understand at all is that there was no hot/warm water! Unbelievable... It is almost the center of Berlin, the capitol of Western country Germany, it was 2015 and there was ONLY cold water in my room... I have to say that I chose this two stars hotel just because on Expedia.com it was stated that they have free parking lot. In fact, they don't provide free parking lot. They ask clients to park the car on the street next to hotel. It is free but it is extremely difficult to find a spot. Since it is for free, everyone wants to park there. In conclusion, I don't recommend this hotel and next time, certainly, I will go to another hotel.
• H (8/5): Nice hotel close to u-bahn - This was a very nice one with a good location close to the u-bahn and Alexanderplatz! The rooms were good and the people who worked there were sweet. The only bad thing about it was that the people who worked there wasn´t really good at english, but apperently German´s aren´t good at english anywhere..!

• Ria (4/5): Das ist kein HOTEL sondern ein HOSTEL - Für diejenigen die mit einem Hostel bei der Reise rechnen ist es ok. Ich erwartete ein Hotel, also war die Entäuschung RIESIG. Die Zimmer stinkten nach altem Rauch, ist alles ein Altbau.... Rezeption, wenn man es so nennen kann, nur an paar Stunden am Tag geöffnet. Bei der Reservierung ein doppelbettzimmer gebucht, bei der Ankunft hieß es dann wenn du ein richtiges Doppelbett haben willst musst es als Sonderwunsch angeben und natürlich draufzahlen .... Beim buchen vom Zimmer ebenso angegeben dass wir frühstück haben wollen, gabs dann natürlich nicht....
• Pernille (4/5): Ikke igen - Det er ikke et sted vi tager hen igen. De tog ikke visa og receptionisten kunne ikke det mindste engelsk så det gjorde det hele noget mere besværligt. Til penge var værelset fint nok. Det var kun til overnatning da vi skulle opleve berlin, så på den måde var værelset udemærket..
• Sara (6/5): Greit og billig - Helt greit. Fint rom, men litt shabby for øvrig. Fremstår rent. Husk at check in stenger tidlig, så hvis du lander på ettermiddag/kveld, lag en avtale på forhånd, ellers møter du låst dør. Hyggelig område.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Bad beds, noisy surroundigs, no service. - Even though it is not expensive, the stay was not worth the price that we paid. There was a strong smell coming from a not working minibar. One bed was broken and the responsible refused to fix it, and the others were making noise. The surroundings are noisy. The heating was not working (in april). There is no service in the hotel from 6PM tp 10AM. We lost time because we decided to wait until 10AM to show the broken bed to the manager.
• Verified traveler (6/5): für ein Kurztripp ausreichend - Hotel hat super Lage, um Berlin zu erkunden. Hotel ist älteren Datums, sehr spartanisch eingerichtet. Die ins Zimmer eingebaute Nasszeile ist sehr eng und hatte einen lärmenden Lüfter. Das Hotel bietet nur Übernachtung ohne Frühstück.

• Amalie (8/5): Blandet fornøjelse - Jeg boede på Insor i 2 nætter i efterårsferien, og vi er et kærestepar i 20'erne. Fint lille hotel i et hyggeligt område. Tæt på koncertstedet K17, hvilket jeg satte pris på. Tæt på U-bahn, som kører dig direkte til Alexanderplatz. Jeg var på et dobbeltværelse, som lå på den anden side af en boligopgang. Dette betød, at vi ikke havde wifi-forbindelse på værelset og måtte sidde i receptionen, hvis vi skulle online - det var ret irriterende! Værelset var rent, hyggeligt, stort, lyst, masser af spejle og egen håndvask. Vi havde et fælles badeværelse på gangen, som vi delte med tre andre værelser, hvilket fungerede fint. Generelt et rigtig godt hotel til prisen. MEN receptionen åbner først kl. 10, så da vi ville tjekke ud kl. 09.40 for at komme videre i vores program (heldigvis skulle vi ikke nå et fly!), måtte vi sidde udenfor døren til receptionen og vente til 10.45 (!!!), inden en receptionist åbnede og lod os komme ind og tjekke ud, hvilket var enormt irriterende. Konklusion: Anbefalelsesværdigt, kunne sagtens bo der igen, men man skal være indforstået med uforudsigelig tilstedeværelse af receptionist, samt begrænset wifi-dækning.
• Maarten Toors (8/5): prijs/kwaliteit prima - Na de check-in was de receptie vertrokken en kon ik niet achter het wifi wachtwoord komen... jammer, want ik moest nog wat mails doornemen en moest daarvoor dus naar een internetcafé. Verder was het prima.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Gut für 2-3 Tage in Berlin - Zimmer in Ordnung. Nur gibt es leider Parkplatzprobleme wenn man spät abends zurückkommt. Mann muss lange nach einem Platz suchen. Ich würde das Hotel aber wieder nehmen.
• Karlemann (8/5): Kleines, interessantes Hotel im Zentrum Berlin´s - Das Hotel ist mit dem öffendlichen Nahverkehr gut zu erreichen. In der nahen Umgebung sind viele kleine interessant Gaststätten zu finden. Das Hotel selbst gut ist gut eingerichtet, mit Sanitärzelle im Raum. Ein Restaurant ist nicht integriert, aber im Viertel findet man viele Versorgungsmöglichkeiten. Für interessierte Berlin Besucher zu empfehlen.
• Miriam (6/5): Für eine Nacht akzeptabel - Hatten ein Zwei-Bettzimmern mit Bad für 40,50 € gebucht, daher kann man nicht soviel erwarten.Allerdings war das Zimmer doch schon sehr klein, so dass man die beiden Einzelbetten noch nicht mal richtig nebeneinander stellen konnte. Das Zimmer kam den Bildern überhaupt nicht nahe.Für eine Nacht und zudem Preis allerdings noch akzeptabel. Zudem befand sich im eignen Bad eine Therme, die in der Nacht immer mal wieder ansprang und schon ziemlich Lärm gemacht hat. Ich bin paar mal aufgeschreckt und habe relativ unruhig geschlafen. Zudem war das Hotel um 12h zum Check-In abgeschlossen, obwohl die Öffnungszeiten von 10-20h lauteten. Bei Anruf (Telefonnr. stand an der EIngangstür) sagte man uns, dass Mittagspause sei. Nach einigen Minuten gab es einen Rückruf, dass uns die Putzfrau rein lassen würde, hat dann auch geklappt.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice and cheap place to stay in Berlin - It was clean, with a nice staff and centrally located in an interesting area. I would recommend it if you can live with sharing bathroom with other people. You could check in late in a neigbouring restaurant, which was convenient when we arrived late.
• Bob (8/5): Guenstiges Hotel, sauber und gut gelegen - Dieses Hotel ist guenstig und dennoch sauber und gut eingerichtet. In einer typischen renovierten Berliner Altbauwohnung gelegen gibts hier fuer einen guenstigen Preis einen echt guten Schlaf!!! (Badezimmer musste ich mir mit anderen Gaesten teilen, dafuer gab es bei mir ein eigenes Waschbecken im Zimmer)
• Verified traveler (4/5): Not the best - Hotel was ok but found open condom packs under box of tissues in the room, The pillows did not smell that great either, Lights in the hallway at night did not work so you had to use your phone to shine a light to get key in the door.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Very bad place - Well, first of all they demanded payment with check in, the fact that hotels.com writes that it will be charged by credit card after check out haven't help. The reception is closed for most time of the day.There is no wi fi in the most of the rooms and parts . The service and the attitude of the people that i spoke were very bad and not useful The rooms are very small , it on the first floor and you need to decide ether live with open window and anyone that cross the street can see or try to live without are
• C & M (6/5): - Meget fint og rent hotel til prisen. Dejligt og charmerende område med mange hyggelige caféer og restauranter. Kort afstand til U-bahn, der kører direkte til Alexanderplatz. Eneste minus er, at personalet i receptionen overhovedet ikke ved, at de sidder i en servicefunktion.
• Александр (8/5): близко к станции U5 - приветливый персонал, цена привлекательная- не дороже хостелов, близко к ю-бан. Из надостатков: душ, туалет- общие. Ресепшн закрывается на ночь, а ,следовательно, и чайник с микроволновкой. Зато рядом много кафешек и при этом очень тихо. Рекомендую для бюджетного и достаточно комфортного размещения.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice quiet hotel - Very nice and quiet hotel in the area of Friedrichshain. Also very nice neighborhood with small backery and other shops near by, and close to the U-bahn. Hotel reception closed at 10 pm, but it was no problem to get access to our room by contacting the bistro next door. However, it would be nice if the hotel reception could open a bit earlier than 10 am on the next day in case you need any service. The room was really fine and the shared bathroom was vey nice and clean as well. I will recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay in Berlin.
• Michal (4/5): Jen na přespání - Dobrá poloha (100 m k metru a 5 zastávek od Alexanderplatz), 2 supermarkety v okolí, relativně čisté pokoje, na druhou stranu hnusné peřiny a nic moc koupelna a záchod společné pro 5 pokojů. Recepce má otevřeno až po 14. hodině a zavírá tak brzo, že jsme tam někoho viděli jen při příjezdu. Přesto všechno na přespání v celkem drahém Berlíně je to docela vhodné.
